I was here for an unexpected two-night stay, and I was very impressed with this hotel.

Clean, Comfortable room, Great A.C., Nice Pool And HotTub.

Very convenient location and very nice staff and comfortable rooms.

I love how convenient the hotel is with the mall next to it and the rooms were comfortable.

The Florida hotel has clean & comfortable rooms, is  adjacent to a large shopping mall and is  close to the airport.

The Rosen Plaza Hotel always provides very pleasant, comfortable rooms, hallways, amenities, meals and personnel.

Very pleasant hotel - nice pool to relax with great unique jacuzzi, comfortable room , excellent breakfast , good shops in the hotel, good bar, courteous and patient staff.

The room was noisy, could clearly hear dogs in the other rooms, slamming doors, people laughing n kids screaming!

but did wake at 7am due to constant lift bell.

..what is worst is the sheer noise ..its so loud that it sounds like a lorry running its engine which is awful through the night when you are getting broken sleep and laying awake listening to it  ..and when off you hear the other ACs vibration through the walls 
This was reported and not taking seriously..on check out I was told the AC units are extremely old . and "hope you enjoyed your stay"

We were woken by other guests and not smoke detectors.

Hotel was very busy with conferences and evening functions,particularly over the weekends and unfortunately this mean't it was very noisy upstairs during the night.

Rooms are noisy, poorly maintained and you hear every word spoken next door and outside.

Things that can be improved upon are noise and light levels in the rooms.

My only gripe (and it certainly won't affect my rating) was the Air Conditioning unit was extremely loud so sleeping with it on was impossible

but even then it was quiet and not too busy.

Sometimes kids staying at the hotel can be quite noisy.

However the air conditioning unit was very very noisy !

The biggest reason for not awarding 5 is the fact that you can hear everything.

Unfortunately, I had to call an ambulance and ended up hospitalised for four days and the hotel really looked after my wife.

Given the amount of events the hotel hosts the noise is kept to a minimum.

but the traffic during the holiday weekend nearly doubles the drive time.

There were staff members always visible wiping down common areas--all masked and respectful.

I am not convinced that the noise from the club people can hear is the 39 Rosen plaza club,

The only issue for me was that The walls are thin so, you can hear the kids screaming and crying (is Orlando).

The mattress in the room was so comfortable it was like being home and it was in a perfect spot to get to so many places.

Room is comfortable, bed is good with nice plush pillows.

We are a family with 2 kids and found the room comfortable.

The air con system is loud and outdated, and cuts out (motion sensor).

but may consider switching to the Hyatt Regency across the street after last weeks experience.

I’m not sure the last time they updated their HVAC system,

I wasn't the biggest fan of having to pay to use the gym,

The hotel itself is acceptable, maybe a bit expensive simply because of their location, as features are reasonable at best (extremely noisy AC),

The most aggravating aspect of the room was the air conditioner that functions

So i presume or
Think there is a sensor somewhere because during the night its not coming on either

Only negatove was the very noisy Aircon..

The not so good things about the Rosen Center:
👎 The noise from the air-con unit takes some getting used to.

The thermostat was not working and had not been checked to make sure it was operational.

The wall unit where the TV is has many compartments

Our A/C in the room was broken, so it was unbearably hot.

Our room was on the 9th floor, it was the king size bed we had, AC was not that very cold, we sweat during the middle of the night as the AC gets turns off, we tried changing the settings to HIGH fan

To top it off, the room a/c was a motel style unit underneath the window.

Despite picking the bed furthest from the door and the AC unit running I was able to hear every person that walked by in the hallway, even those talking at normal volumes.

I checked into a drab red room decorated in the 90s with a very loud room AC unit reminiscent of a 3 story motel not this large hotel they claim to run here.

We were on the 13th floor, and the a/c sometimes seemed damp.

The hotel was as wonderful as I remember, rooms so comfortable and I’m already missing the pool!!!

The room was comfortable and cleaned daily which was also important as other hotels make you request to have your room cleaned.

My room was comfortable and seems to have been kept up well despite this not being a new facility.

My room was comfortable and oh so convenient for the conference I was attending.

The Hyatt is new its nearby and it costs a little more and I understand now it's entirely worth it for room comfort if you travel on business and spend a lot of time in your room working or relaxing between conference activities.

I've stayed at other Rosen properties nearby and have found this one offers the most comfortable rooms and best service.

The rooms were a comfortable size, clean, beds were comfortable and the lay out was nice.

I only paid $106/night, so I'm not complaining too much,

I found a $30 parking fee on my credit card that was provided as security deposit.

A few food options at different price ranges.

The garage is totally inconvenient as to location vs. accessibility to the lobby and elevators.It’s also not constructive to charge a guest outrageous parking fees when staying on property.

That is terrible to say we paid for a 4 star hotel and all the main amenities were closed.

They charge for the gym
They cannot give out a room key (even tho’ I paid upfront for a weeks stay) without putting another charge on a cc.

They should allow you to have bacon and eggs from buffet at a lesser price if they are not going to have a restaurant that serves breakfast…..no a self serve convenience store type as they have.

Our meal there was mediocre and overpriced.

I would just make sure they were good and tucked in before I went to bed and it was ok. 

I’m big into fitness when I’m traveling, so the pool being closed for maintenance was disappointing, so I paid the $15 to use the gym.

but a little overpriced (then again most hotel eateries are) and had a beer from the lobby bar the next night.

the Hyatt's gym across the street is much better, and they don't charge a $15 fee to use it.

Breakfast is extremly expensive for want you can get.

The places to eat off the lobby were very expensive($7 for a magnum ice cream bar!!??).

The restaurant, bar and Deli are so over priced and basic food.

Prices could be considered steep as the Bud Light was from a can and not draft.

The noise from the hallway was pretty loud.

This was particularly bothersome in the shower, which has no light overhead so ladies, if you were hoping to be able to see your legs to shave them, you are SOL.

If you value your peace and quiet, do not stay here as the lobby and main parts of the hotel are bustling with people 24/7.

Every time it clicks on it it wakes me up and sound like a plane taking off.

Therefore when a kid grabs the rail and pulls them selves to the wall there is always a danger of banging their head or face on the wall.

the fitness room is very small and there are notes to not be loud because it's so close to the spa.

Not counting the time that we have to wait for the cab, potential traffic, finding the pool in the other hotel, and the time to drag the kid back to the cab and ride back to the hotel assuming she will fall asleep after swimming (kids tend to exhaust themselves), waking up the tired cranky kid from the cab and drag her upstairs to the room.

Every morning I was woken up by the early raisers (around 6am) instead of my alarm.

If you require quiet to sleep well I would avoid this hotel,

though the hotel was full we heard very little noise while in the room.

Turn it off it’s too hot, turn it on you have an aircraft taking off in your room.

We had valet our car during our stay and when we were leaving we were afraid it was going to be even more of a delay because there was heavy traffic.

How can you miss a sound so loud it sounds like a semi truck passing by

My room was more than comfortable with a sitting chair, large sofa and king bed.

Room is comfortable and noise level was 0.

The rooms are comfortable, the atrium internal to the hotel structure is awesome and includes a variety of dining options.

The hotel lobby is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable.

Very comfortable rooms with soft sheets, comfortable beds, feather pillows and nice toiletries.

Rooms are very comfortable and I have to add that the employees were awesome, everyone strove to be as helpful as possible.

The rooms are comfortable, Aveda products are in the bathroom.

The rooms are comfy and great for those staying on longer trips.

We’ve always found our room comfortable, spacious and clean, the premises secure, and staff extraordinarily helpful and professional.

Rooms overall were comfortable and well stocked.

Summary: Friendly front desk staff, large comfortable rooms with good lighting, family friendly, good fitness center, plenty of nearby shopping and restaurants, well located for Orlando theme park visits.

They told me to keep the card for any charges

But again we were told we had to pay €80 per night deposit and when I asked if I could pay cash, they said no it had to be card.

The front desk charged a member of my team's credit card when I had previously paid for the room with my American Express.

Now having to claim through credit card company.

My colleague was using the work credit card and there had been some issues with it at check in.

By the way, they will want to charge you like 18 dollars for internet.

The rooms are a bit dated and outlet/plug space was pretty scarce for our 2 room suite forcing us to unplug things like a lamp to be able to charge our phone at our bedside.

but very expensive, room service was a disaster as it took an hour to get a hamburger and a sandwich and they forgot our soda (but charged us).

Room rate quoted was $159, total charged after resort fee of $40, parking fee or $36 (not valet, actually far away), total was $262.

The only thing that lets this Hotel down is the EXTRA CHARGES, $35+tax(18%) per/day Resort Tax, $33+tax, Car Parking per/day + $11.12 Service Charge for breakfast.

Deposit that we were told would go back on our card at checkout still was not on card two days later and we were told, when we called, it could be up to seven days; it is the bank's fault.

Charging outlets, both electrical and USB, were few and far between.

So my credit card has been charged and that remains unresolved along with the rate issue.

I couldn't even charge my phone on the nightstand.

If you're charging anything for a "resort" fee, why are there not even microwaves in the rooms?

The price that this hotel charges for a night including resort fees, parking, internet, the multiple taxes I would have been better off staying at park resort and we would have been a lot more comfortable stay.

There is also a $30 daily resort fee which again most charge.

It's a little ridiculous how much they charge .

BE AWARE - We were charged $500 for parking during our stay when we told them we did not have a car!

I  gave her the free parking pass and she said she would take care of it, only to find out that my credit card was charged for it.

Hotel is ok. Be aware after they changed you multiple unexplainable resorts fees, parking fee is $36/ day additional.

$36 a day for parking ( that is regular parking and not valet) so be prepared for that.

The icing on the cake was when 17 cars at the conference were broken into in the hotel parking lot and the hotel did NOTHING

You do have to pay resorts fees and for parking,

Opportunity’s: pay for parking, some nights can be up to $30.00 per day.

although you do need a physical key for parking, so I had to ask for one, no big deal.

The Bad:

- Resort Fee/ Self Parking Fee: $35/$30 per day fee.

No valet parking and the directional signs could use some improvements.

We were already spending a good amount between all the additional fees of parking $30 AND a resort fee $35 (each per day).

Surprise to me when I pulled into the parking lot and discovered the sign stating this.

There is a daily parking fee at the resort that is kind of pricey

People have complained in reviews about the daily parking fee of $25 which every hotel in the snares charges.

Resort fee + parking + tax, be ready to pay a lot more than what you see.

No valet parking, no room service, ridiculously limited bar dinner menu.

The drinks were slightly expensive this time,

Food/drinks were very expensive
They do have shuttles to the parks which seemed good in the morning

The resort fee is outrageous for its benefits.

Expensive international calls, being passed from one department to another.

It was expensive and the portion sizes were rather small.

The rooms/lobby were a bit dated, especially with the hotel's cost.

but be prepared to pay over $100 more than you are told.

When we went to check out we received a $45 a day per room resort fee.

So, it may be 5 stars if I rate the property without room condition.

but with the current exchange rate next time it’ll be back to a villa! !

The issue that we had is that the services fee for breakfast was not included in initial package.

The drinks and food offered at the shops and restaurant to are way over priced for the small selection and portions.

During the whole stay we were comfy in the room.

We had o lovely stay at the Rosen shingle creek we are a family of four so the 2 queen double room was very comfortable for the entire 2 weeks.

Clean, comfortable rooms, great food options, easy layout throughout resort, nice staff.
