Pool was clean and our whole family had a great time.

Friendly staff and clean comfortable environment.

Rooms were clean, a nice size, and just over all cozy.

I will not sit for a timeshare presentation here until my room is clean (so I never have).

They always do a great job with this resort keeping it clean.

Pros: 15 min drive to Disney World and other parks, large and lovely pool area, quiet floors, large clean suite (ask for a room facing the pool, building 20 has 24 hour security with registration in that building).

As always, clean rooms, clean facilities, great staff!

The public areas and unit was very clean and the upkeep of the grounds excellent.

They have beautiful pools that are well-maintained, easy check in and out, close to plenty of activities, including Old Town .

Negatives include a $50.00 resort fee per week to use the pools, gyms etc, No mid-week cleaning servicers and it is hard to communicate with much of the staff.

We loved the convenience of the restaurants, stores and groceries in walking distance to the resort.

One of the times , I had a cart full of groceries.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Vacation Village, excellent location, close to all attractions, shopping and restaurants.

They are not conveniently located  and the area isn't very big if you plan to cook and eat at the location.

I liked Vacation Village at Parkway number 1 because of location.

Great location as well, only minutes from Disney.

The hotel has a good location, the units are a good size and very comfortable to enjoy a good vacation.

i had forgotten to call and make a request, so at check in they were able to change us up and put us at a better location for a toddler.

But they do provide you with one laundry detergent pkt & dishwasher powder; & they still have free local phone calls.

At 2:30am, a service man responded to our call and came to our rescue to show us how to operate the TV.

Be sure to call a week before your reservation and ask for a pool or nature view in a newer building.

The original room was very run down and the telephone or the ac was working.

I tried calling the front desk to ask them

I guess when you have a guest complaining about services, the answer according to Vacation Village at Parkway is to not answre the phone rather than to resolve the problem.

Visitors will need to either walk or call the desk for a shuttle to travel between them.

Today, it took several hours and 3 phone calls to get laundry detergent to wash our clothes before we begin packing to keave tomorrow.

It was just a call away to get more blankets and towels.

Had to call 3 times to get a pool attendant so we could sign out the horse shoes and corn hole bags to play the outdoor games.

Before that it took 5 attempts to get someone on the phone for me to ask about the pool weather policy.

I tried to call the front desk several times.

So I called the front desk which took a damn min for them to answer the phone.

Has declined over the years takes several calls to get house keeping or maintenance to come.

The tub had a black ring around and the moved me to a room with a filthy shower

In fact, EVERYONE that we passed from housekeeping, was ALWAYS on the phone and had no time to greet you.

The employees at the front desk that answer the phone (when they do) are not very friendly I needed to stay an extra night and the manager on june 10th made it for R$179, for that price i decided to move to a 4 star hotel with wonderful pool and better employees.

That call to RCI did get someone to clean the floor and a promise to do a full cleaning the next day.

After calling the next morning, someone came to clean the areas (which shouldn't have been necessary) and then we discovered we weren't eligible for housekeeping because we hadn't been there longer than 7 days,

Our grandkids had a great time in the pool and on the splashpad.

Nice walking paths, great pool and jacuzzi.

The pool and spa tub were definitely used this trip, and we stayed in one of the newer units and the room was very nice.

You can grab lunch right at the pool he is at.

Kids enjoyed all the amenities including basketball court, pool, etc.

We had 1st floor suites that were requested since we had 4 young children with us and it was easy to access the pool.

The complex is quite spacious with green areas and swimming pools for the enjoyment of sunny days.

There are lots of great stores and restaurants within about a mile, and it's very easy to get to most theme parks.

Near entrance to I-4, close to Disney, close to many good golf courses, restaurants and stores.

Our towels had stains on them and had an odor so we had to do a complete towel swap.

Our room smelled like very dirty mop water, items in the washing machine, 1/2 toilets not cleaned after last use, slow to no response after speaking with front desk.

We had a 2 bedroom suite which essentially was two separate 1 bedroom suites …upon arrival the one suite smelled of old cigarettes and the other suite smelled of mold … the rooms definitely need an update … and don’t expect shampoo,conditioner or body wash … you get 2 mini bars of soap that is it !

The hot tub was gross, along with debris and dead bugs.

However the main unit smelled like old standing water and we couldn’t find the source.

Upon entering the building, all you smelled was lots of foods, and like a dirty mop water..

We smelled a neighbor smoking weed, cihildren running & screaming upstairs & downstairs from us.

Vacation village at parkway had 4 security guards kick me and my family out after a complaint about mold.

Don’t go … 
Smells marijuana all the time (7 days stay 7 days shrunk place).

The units were good with the exception of the floors being dirty and one of the A units and C units having an unknown odor in them.

Was disappointed when asked to help us resolve an issue with a smoker below us.

We called and asked for at least 2 boxes (in this heat, your clothes get stinky and sweaty when out all day in the heat).

Halway had trash and food boxes smelled like. Zoo

Had to pay $45 housekeeping fee and yet our room was GROSS when we got there.

There were fruit flies all over which was disgusting.

The patio table and chairs were filthy, looks to never been cleaned.

The smells on the sixth floor of build 20 were gross and none of the staff seemed to care.

It didn’t drain well, so that became more of an issue as the week progressed.

We asked to be switched to poolside and they accommodated us right away which was very helpful.

Treated with professionalism and respect.

The staff is wonderful and i will definitely stay here again very soon.

When you take the time to ask and the answer is that all appartement are assigned before well BS!

We are VIP wyndham owners and have owned RCI for 13 years and this was easily the dirtiest room we have ever been in.

Check in was very easy and everyone very helpful.

Everyone on the staff was nice and friendly.

Our first impression did not change with a fast and courteous check-in.

Here we spoke with a very nice fellow who was knowledgeable, informative, and engaging.

The property is located close to the theme parks with shuttle services available at 7am (could have been a little later).

The resort has great pools and is very close to all of the theme parks which is a huge plus.

Vacation Village is convenient to dining, shopping, restaurants, and theme parks.

Nice 2 bedroom condo was perfect for my family of 6.

We were in a one bedroom condo overlooking the pool and the lake, the view was gorgeous.

Staff friendly
Accommodation was a 2 bedroom apartment which had a massive bed in the master bedroom, 2 single beds, set of bunk beds and a pull out sofa bed.

We had a two/three  bedroom apartment in tower two with fantastic views over the lake.

We spent a month here in a two bedroom apartment using Air BnB.

The  One bedroom condos here have 2 bathrooms yes you heard me right 2 full bathrooms both with baths and 1 of them has a Jacuzzi bath.

Booked with LovHolidays at less than £70 or $90 a night for a two bedroom apartment that also had bunk beds and a pull out double sofa.

However the 2 bedroom condo was perfect for a family traveling with kids.

We were allocated a one bedroom apartment on the first floor, the apartments are a good size with 2 bathrooms and a fully fitted out kitchen with all cutlery and utensils.

but, as my daughter is 15, felt bunk beds were unsuitable so I had the two bedroom condo.

Fantastic two bedroom apartment on the 8th floor, just perfect as not too high that it made you feel woah when looking over the balcony.

Most condos have two bedrooms with two baths, a fulld kitchen and living room with balconies overlooking Lake Bryan and a balcony near the elevators that provides views of the nightly fireworks at three of the parks in Disney World.

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for 10 night and the Blue Heron Resort did not disappoint!!

The resort is very nice, rented a two bedroom condo and it was spotless.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment,very spacious with great internet and tv access

The condo was clean and the view from the balcony was stunning.

Car parking was good, wifi was good, kids liked the pool, quality of towels and pool towels was excellent and balcony view just amazing.

So many restaurants and great balcony views.

Our balcony overlooked a beautiful lake and if you looked hard enough, you could also see SeaWorld and Universal.

we were on the 9th floor of tower 1 and the view from the balcony was just stunning each morning.

Plenty of parking and great views from the balcony even on lower floors.

Stayed at the Blue Heron for a family vacation and loved the views from the balcony!

The balcony overlooking the lake was awesome.

Views from the balconys are wonderful and beautiful.

We all enjoyed this hotel great views from the balcony we got picked up and dropped off from the Disney parks lovely staff like Anana some good shops and eating places nearby only disappoint no cleaners on a daily basis

The fireworks display  at 9 from the hotel  balcony overlooking the Disney  parks  are a beautiful  sight .

This was a family gathering and we had 3 apartments all of which were well equipped and clean and spacious with balconies overlooking the lake.

We had the top floor two bedroom suite with one balcony overlooking all of Orlando including Disney parks and another balcony overlooking the lake.

They next few days was spent playing key card lottery

They over changed my credit card not once or 2

I called them and they were helpful, bit said the reason the transaction wouldn’t go through not due to a fraud alert,

Blue Heron charged us $350 for breaking the molding to get our son out, after their crappy door handle locked shut.

They charged us a $50 "Cleaning Fee" upon checking in which was laughable since these units are NOT cleaned.

They hold a $250 deposit on your card for any incidentals/damages.

I've now disputed the charge with my credit card and will continue to work with hotels.com on this

Skip this shady "resort" at all costs.

Just another example of a hotel charging scammy resort fees that aren't included in the base price just to manipulate you to click on their hotel listing to make you think you are getting a deal that doesn't exist.

So let’s start with the negative

At CHECK IN you will learn that there is a random resort/cleaning fee that you will be charged.

Housekeeping is also not a feature here - unless you request it for an extra charge.

all the rooms are needing renovation badly plus they are charging resort fees  and cleaning fees when you leave wouldn't go back The ceiling in the balcony it was all pealing of what a mess we reported it
