Transport to both theme parks is via the little boat to city walk.

Easy access to Universal City Walk and the Universal parks.

Great Location for all things Universal with the walk, Taxi Boat and Shuttle bus all very convenient to get you to City Walk and all the Parks.

The boat shuttles to and from the parks/ city walk to Loews Royal Pacific made everything so easy and quick.

Both options mean security is a lot easier to do than facing the bustle of City Walk each morning.

It was a 7 min walk to the city walk, self parking was easy, Valet guys were helpful and friendly.

Lot of possibilities to dine in or go to the city walk.

The boat to City Walk is really helpful and we also enjoyed the short walk on occasion.

Excellent location, just a short walk from City Walk and the Parks.

If you are into walking for exercise, there is a nice walking path from the hotel to City Walk and the Parks.

Just take a quick walk to city walk or you can take a boat or bus if there is rain.

We used the garden walkway to get to and from City Walk (and the parks) many times.

This resort is amazing, close to Islands of adventure, City walk and universal studios.

It’s an easy walk to city walk and the parks and the express passes are a MUST!

The location to the theme parks and city walk is a huge plus point of this hotel along with the major benefit of express passes for the attractions.

We loved thecoation as it was ose in proximity to Universal theme parks and city walk.

The location of this hotel allowed the feasibility to walk to Universal Studios, Island of Adventure and City Walk.

However, the cost of  hotel stay was pre paid via Booking.com, when I checked in they take card details for any additional cost, no issues,

Bust my credit limit and gave me a ton of pain with lack of credit and fines while on holiday.

We did not have any billing or check out issues.

We were charged for a rollaway bed we never ordered.

We hired a car for our 9 day stay and in hindsight didn’t need it for the time we were at Universal and probably should have just hired mid stay to save on the daily parking charge of approximately $30 per day.

There's no issue with them charging your credit card ASAP,

but I am taking the time to comment because if you charge that much for a rollaway, the process should not be this poorly executed.

Be warey and check your credit card bills carefully.

We were given two small bottles of water each night along with a post card.

A very nasty upsetting letter was placed under my door on Sunday, 8/6 stating my credit card payment had been declined.

Moved to a lower resort at the promise of a lower price (had to pack up within 10 minutes) and were charged full price for the replacement resort with much fewer ammenities.

Having said that, considering that the hotel charges $15 a day if you do want to request a microwave, couldn't they at least provide one or two community microwaves someone in the main building?

The bellhop services came to ask if we needed help after we had spent 5 mins getting all our bags out of the taxi and were rolling them into the lobby - felt a bit late to react
- no towels provided at the door when guests are caught in torrential downpour therefore floors all slippery and wet 
- room key provided on a card - seemed old compared to the magic band
- map provided of the hotel and parks seemed cheap, printed on pieces of paper from last year
- the featured area in the foyer containing fountains that should be the ‘wow’ factor when you first enter the lobby is a designated smoking area.

Also, we split the room cost between families and now we cannot get the billing correct.

After trying all day, we went back to the hotel to be told that it was not activated for non-residence as the charges may take longer to appear.

You’re charged $28 a day for self parking, and don’t expect a microwave in your room.

It was pretty awful, especially when we received our bill with a 18.25% service charge that was NOT the tip.

Not having to drive or park anywhere made life so easy and having early park admission allows you to go on rides without a wait for an hour.

The ultimate pass add on make standing in line on mostly all rides quick and easy.

Very easy access to the Universal parks and the transport to Volcano Bay was regular and fast.

The proximity and easy access to the parks was awesome.

We stayed 3 nights in July 2023 after spending 2 weeks at Disney and stayed on the 2nd floor in Tower 1:

Pros:
- walkway is very easy and close to Island of Adventure.

but, its an easy walk or boat ride int the park.

Location ideal for easy access to City Walk and Parks.

Calling Star Services is also so easy to contact if you do need anything.

The short walkway to city walk or the parks made it easy for us to go to parks and to the resort.

What a great hotel, with easy access to the parks via boat or footpath.

It’s a really easy walk or water taxi to the parks too.

Loved how easy it was to walk back and forth to the parks.

Easy walk from hotel to city walk and the parks and with the express tickets it helps take it a bit easier.

It was easy enough to walk or jump on a river taxi to the gates of either universal studios or adventure islands.

Self parking is overpriced at 28 dollars a night to park in an open lot that is not close to the hotel.

What I liked :

- High quality beds
- Great conciergerie
- Many services provided
What I did not like :

- Too loud, poor room phonic isolation
- Food is overpriced
- Universal Express Pass doesn't apply for Volcano Bay
- Room theme is very poor and not adequate with the standard.

However, if you drive, there is a $29 per night parking fee.

While the hotel may seem expensive, it comes with UNLIMITED Universal Express Pass.

Had to pay nightly rental fee (which is taxed) for a microwave.

Not a great impression when the rollaways cost money and you are staying at a $400+/night hotel.

In my opinion, Holiday Inn Express has better rooms for $500 cheaper.

This is quite an expensive hotel (£362 for the night)

It was dirty and old, and smelled a little, and parking was overly expensive at $30/day,

For the price of the stay, that's too much of nickel-and-diming of guests.

but not the original assigned room or type I booked, reserved and paid for.

The shop in the lobby (Tuk Tuk I think it is called) has a limited range on offer and is very expensive (two bottled drinks and two bananas came to just under $12).

Work out area not a premium, half size the size of the Sapphire, not as clean and feels cramped.

but with a few really annoying flaws, which at this price is not really acceptable.

We found that super helpful we didn’t have to pay for water.

Disappointing considering the inflated prices.

The boat service was so quick and the captains were friendly.

Check in and Check out was seamless and quick with no hidden costs attached.

The water taxi is a quick convenient ride to the parks.

However, it is good if you need a quick bite.

There is also a boat to get to the parks or alternatively a walking route - both are quick

Tuck Tuck is a grab and go and quick service snack and coffee shop that has a great assortment of items to snack on or for a quick lunch or dinner.

The water taxi was so fun and quick to and from the parks, we never waited more than 5 minutes to hop on a taxi.

We leveraged this hotel for a quick stop at Universal and did so for the express passes.

We enjoyed the Pool Bar food, quick service,  good portions nice food.

Fun bar area, wonderful sushi restaurant, family friendly Wok Experience, amazing pool with great nachos, poolside movies, a quick mart near the lobby, and the best beds in the world.

Once in our room, a quick call and our bags were delivered by a very helpful and cheery bell man.

The Tuk Tuk market is next to the lobby and you can grab a quick coffee or fruit or even pre packed breakfast.

Worth it to get the early admission as well as quick access pass lanes, they were very very useful!

The Tuk Tuk quick service counter had a good selection of fresh fruit cups and juice,

The transportation to the parks by shuttle and boat were both quick and immaculate.

The resort is beautiful, staff is excellent (especially Kellie F)the food is great and the convenience to the parks (water taxi) is perfect!

Being so close to the parks and the water taxi is a great service never waiting  more than a few mins and fast passes to the park which are included really make it, we walked on to most rides with no q, kids loved it.

The pool was great, and so were the water taxis.

Taking the water taxi to the park was convenient.

The hotel is walking distance from Universal (10 mins) or you could catch the water taxi (easy to get on, also about 10 mins).

We used the water taxi and the walking path to get to and from the parks.

While both a shuttle and water taxi were available, we opted to walk down the beautiful path.

We had an amazing time and the water taxi to and from the hotel was very convenient.

You can walk to Universal in 5 mins or get the water taxi.

but the water taxi is a fun adventure you must do at least once.

The water Taxi to the parks were super convenient!

We used the water taxi everyday to get to the parks, very fast and convenient transportation.

Very close location to the parks and you can take the water taxi, shuttle bus or even walk to them!

We enjoy the boat taxis that take to the parks and City Walk as well as taking you back to the hotel when you are done having fun.

Tips for the theme parks and just general friendliness whenever we saw her!

Loews Royal Pacific is a beautiful resort just a short 5-10 minute walk from the Islands of Adventure theme park.

We had a good time visiting the Universal Theme Parks.

We were able to check-in well ahead of time in order to use fast passes in the Universal Studios theme parks.

We choose this hotel because of its proximity to the Universal theme parks and the City Walk area.

Definitely the best theme park hotel hotels we have stayed in

We didn't have to rent a car due to the close proximity to the theme parks and City Walk.

The resort was within short walking distance to  the theme park with a nice nature view.

The location was perfect, only a 7 minute walk to the theme parks and city walk.

Free express passes, early admission to the theme parks, and transportation 
made a $500 a night stay worth the money, especially when you take in consideration for the cost of express passes.

Everything was excellent from the arrival, check-in, staff, getting our theme park tickets and the location was perfect.

Friendliest Staff we have encountered ever, unlike the other theme park.

My wife and I had a great time at Universal theme parks.

You know you’re paying way over the odds when it comes to these huge theme parks and associated hotels

It was close to all of the Universal theme parks and City walk which was nice.

They have so much right at the hotel you can spend a few days just hanging out by the pool with their transportation to city walk, or the parks the other days.

We even walked to city walk one day on the garden path near Sapphire Falls.

The employees at the store were always helpful and the Bayliner Diner had great food offerings when we didn't hit the City Walk.

Shuttles to/from universal City walk were plentiful and ran quickly.

You can easily walk to all three parks, or utilize the bus or water taxi (at Sapphire Falls) to get to City Walk and the parks.

The best experiences for friends and family.There is plenty activities and places to visit.The universal city walk is a 12/10 experience.The Halloween horror nights were amazing.

The hotel also provides a free shuttles to and from city walk and we never had to wait long to get one.

We can walk, take a bus shuttle or a pleasant water taxi (from Sapphire Falls across the street) to City Walk and the parks.

It was so convenient to take the bus across to Universal Studios City Walk and Parks.

but to be fair that’s not at this hotel’s price point and with City Walk and International Drive a few minutes away there is plenty of choice there.

We chose to eat most of our dinners at restaurants located in City Walk.

We stayed in a suite in continental block with pool view it was AMAZING .

Upon arrival we were given a map and some useful information to get us started on our holiday - including regarding the use of the free bus service to and from Universals City walk (which drops you at the Universal theme parks for those who don't know).

Its faster to go through security there than down at city walk.

Hotel was about 10 minute bus ride to bus terminal at city walk which was convenient and busses ran often.

Bus shows up on time with hardly no wait time to get to city walk and back to the hotel.

but the real selling point is the easy and free transportation to and from the parks, as well as early park admission.

Very easy to pick up Universals ticket either on the desk while they’re open or through a machine anytime.

So easy to get to other places and great that volcano bay is 5 mins away.

Transportation to the parks is quick and easy; shuttle, bus and walking.

The shuttles to the Parks were always there and made for a quick and easy arrival each morning.

Perfect for families with things to do on site and quick, easy bus transport on a very frequent schedule to the parks.

Clean rooms lovely food , easy access to the parks, free shuttle bus was welcomed, lovely to have some meet and greats in the hotel lobby, gift shop has something for everyone.

Overall a very good stay, with amazing food, comfortable rooms and easy access to the parks.

but a bit further and the buses are so easy.

The busses were "right there" so travel to the other parks was fast and easy.

Early park admission was a great benefit and we had easy access back and forth to the park all day.

It was very easy being able to travel with kids and experience Universal while staying at this hotel resort.

Still love the lazy river, 2 pools, bowling alley, easy access to City Walk,etc.

Friendly service, clean rooms, easy access to everything we needed.

The shuttle to the parks was easy to access and overall the stay was incredible!

Family suite had ample room, like the style, kitchenette with decent fridge and microwave, coffee maker, so did own thing for breakfast.

The resort is themed so beautifully, our room (family suite) was nice and comfortable.

Our family suite was located on the backend of the Thunderbird building.

Always stay in the external courtyard family suites with a pool view.

even though we were going to the Magic Kingdom because of their family suites.

Our family suite was at the back of the Continental and it seemed like a very long way from the lobby and bus stops at the end of each day.

We were in a family suite with outside entry, and were able to park right outside our building.

(we had a family suite in the continental building )

Although the room is sold as a family suite, it is basically a room with a thin partition dividing the bedroom and living area.

We stayed here in July as a family of 4, in a family suite.

We checked in around midnight, with no line, and got an upgrade to a family suite.

They offer a family suite to sleep our family of 5 without breaking the bank!

Was able to get into Islands of Adventure 1 hour before actual park opening to general population, nice sized clean and comfy suite for a family of 5, not noisy, 2 great pools and helpful sweet professional staff and plenty of snacks, foods, and restaurants and bars to purchase from.

Just spent 2 weeks in a Family Suite exterior entry with my husband and 2 children, 11 and 8.

We had an interior family suite which was great for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers.

We had an indoor family suite that included two queen beds and a pull out sofa bed.

The pool slide was down the entire time we were there and the lazy river was a bit expensive in my opinion,

Tip to go buy your float rings for the lazy river from somewhere offsite because they were expensive here.

It's just not acceptable for what you pay to stay at this place.

One Pool closed for a few hours and both hot tubs closed for “unscheduled maintenance” (but they have several nice signs already made so seems to be a recurring issue), expensive food/drinks.

The rooms are far away, The staff gives wrong directions and doesn't know where Tesla Chargers are, they don't pick up the assistance phone in the parking, don't guide you on water taxis use from adjacent Universal hotels, old furniture - over priced experience!

need to be aware daily parking charge at hotel add up if staying for two weeks.

The food choices were limited and the same each day and as expected prices over-inflated

theres alot to take in and loads of little things you only find out when staying at this resort that should be more common knowlege,this resort doesnt offer express press .to buy express when you get here (which we obv didnt) can cost you upwards of $1400 for a 7 day stay for 2 guests.our stay cost £627 each ,for the extra £200 each (which would have made it £827 each for staying at one of the resorts which offers express inclueded which would save you $1000+
with all the money we spent on the holiday and in the theme parks ,tickets etc totaling upwards of £4000 i feel  all that ive metioned should be a hell of alot better.

but the stay wasn't flawless as we expected from the higher than regular Orlando hotel price.

Room was quite basic so a disappointment for the price tag.

Overpriced, cheap food, dirty room, broken room chairs, raised prices in arcade (while we were there) and lowered amount of playable credits by more than half.

The amenties and meals are a bit pricey and nothing was complimentary,

We won't boom another stay ever at this hotel as there aver far better and options around for the same ( if not cheaper) price

Management failed to effectively address issues, there idea of resolving issues is handing out cheap vouchers that not even a fraction the time and money you lost.

but for the price there should be a higher standard for the guest rooms.

Quick access to parks by bus and multiple pools!

Great quick service, Starbucks, as well as cocktail lounge.

but it happened over multiple days, throughout the hotel, no staff intervened  
The positives:
-The lazy river is fun (just remember to purchase your inflatable before they close in the afternoon quite early)
-Bowling was great
-Restaurant - family-friendly food options - dinner style - quick service
-There is a laundry in the bottom of each tower
Overall, we paid double what we could have paid to stay a stay a short Uber away, for a better hotel .

but for a quick 1-night stay, we didn’t think to.

I loved the quick shuttle service to Universal parks and being able to walk to Volcano Bay.

The food at the quick service (Bayside Dinner) was better than most alternative options.

The shuttle is a quick ride to the parks.

We chose this hotel based on its great location, it has a quick side entrance to Volcano Bay and the free shuttle bus to Universal City Walk takes only a few minutes and it seemed there was always a bus waiting ready to go when we went to the bus stop.

Plus, Volcano Bay is a quick walk down the sidewalk.

When i wanted to venture outside of the world of Universal i would take an uber - they are super handy and very quick.

but transportation was quick and efficient so we gave our feet a much needed break.

Transportation to park was quick coming and going.

This resulted in an Unpleasant odor in the hallway.

Restaurants on City Walk were short on employees so lots of tables were left messy and garbage bins overflowing and nasty.

The first huge thing for me was it was filthy.

The dust was disgusting layers of it everywhere.

Also , the smell of weed was lingering throughout the resort .

-It felt like there were smokers  everywhere - didn't like having to walk through groups smoking to get to the pool each day.
