The main problem is the air conditioning.

but ok for a few nights although Hilton really could do to invest in an upgrade particularly the aircon in the rooms which was horrendously noisy.

Air conditioning failed fixed 1st time then failed again on our last night .

but the fan made it impossible for me to fall asleep.

Not a fan of an early wake up to eat while on vacation.

even though the pool was freezing due to the heater being broken.

Had a problem with the heating and air-conditioning making noise they sent the maintenance man up and it was fixed within 15 minutes.

That made me feel important and was seamless to get something

Even the room AC fan was running continuously so that I could use the White Noise for a good nights sleep.

The airco in the room is a very loud and should be replaced with something you can sleep with.

The room had its own A/C unit which was not too noisy

Breakfast was awful, I’m normally a big fan of the Hampton Breakfast

The A/C lends itself to allowing mold to set in.

The air conditioner makes som noice if you leave in on during nights.

If the rooms could be brightened a bit, this place would be a hidden gem that is much more cost effective than the bigger conference hotels.

A/C units were very noisy and the fan in the bathroom rattled like crazy.

The furniture in the room is dated and the ac is pretty noisy.

There was a strange smell from the A/C and/or the carpet.

but you can walk from the hotel thro the car park to idrive.

The hotel backs onto International Drive, so a two minute walk through the car park brings you to the hub of the action

By walking thru the car park you have access to a myriad of restaurants, This hampton inn has great beds and pillows, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, Brian and his staff have greatly improved this hotel, we should know, we have stayed here over 20 times !!!!

A short walk through the car park brings you onto International Drive with plenty of bars and restaurants and Orlando Point on the doorstep.

The hotel was in a great location to get buses to anywhere we wanted to go and just a short walk through the car park to restaurants and bars on international drive and just a little further to point Orlando.

All in all clean, modern and value for money, also easy walking distance to International Drive and all the restaurants, just cut thru the car parks and your there.

Location is perfect, it takes just a minute to walk through the car park to find yourself on I Drive, with the choice of the Red Line or Green Line IRide Trolleys being a huge bonus.

The hotel is very well situated for all the restaurants at Pointe Orlando, it is just a short walk across the car park onto International Drive.

but connected to International drive via connected car parks,loads of nice eating places within 5 minutes walk also it's within easy walk of the new idrive 360 complex ( will be like London eye but with shops and resturants) some of the resturants are open now and should all be open by next year.

I would recommend this hotel to every type of traveler, for exploring the theme parks it was excellent, a walk through the car park got you onto International Drive with it's excellent bars and restaurants, highlights being Bahama Breeze, Maggianos at Pointe, Miller's Ale House and Brick House Tavern.

Hampton Inn is a few minutes walk via the back car park to International Drive and on one corner a fab pub with great atmosphere and beer bucket deals 5 for $8.95.

The I Ride trolley stop is just outside or through the car park to I Drive.

All you need to do is walk through the car park to get to I drive.

Just a short walk through the car park to International Drive and the huge choice of restaurants.

The hotel is ideally located just minutes from the Seaworld Parks and Universal and a short walk through the car parks to Pointe Orlando and the many restaurants of International Drive.

This hotel is a short walk through the car park to the I ride trolley stop.

Walgreens was a 5 minute walk away through a fully lit and safe car park and Bahama Breeze car park.

The hotel is located just off the car park that is international drive on road that provides trouble free access to Disney and Universal.

Stayed here with my coworkers for a trade show at the Orange County Convention Center.

Close to everything and anything you could possibly want as well as being only 3-5 minutes from Orange County Convention Center.

You can easily walk to Pointe Orlando, ICON Park, and tons of stores, restaurants, and attractions on International Drive.

All in all we had a great stay here and can recommend the Hampton Inn at Pointe Orlando/Universal Boulevard.

It was within walking distance to Pointe Orlando so the girls could check out Sugar Factory and eat Dragons Breath.

It is right smack in the middle of The Pointe Orlando and IDrive 360.

In walking distance to Orange County Convention Center, Pointe Orlando, Orlando Eye, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.

The desk clerk  also told us Pointe Orlando is where the Orlando eye is.

One of the advantages is the proximity and easy walk to many restaurants including Pointe Orlando, where many receptions were being held at.

Plenty of restaurants & things to do down this end of International Drive, close to the Orlando Eye & Pointe Orlando.

Very close to Universal Studios, Pointe Orlando and many dining places.

The location is very good, as it's right off International Drive and within a short walk of many restaurants, Pointe Orlando, the Convention Center, the Orlando Eye, and many other shops and attractions.

Breakfast center piece was a waffle iron that everyone made a mess of - disgusting.

this response was definitely not considerate of those who may suffer ill health effects from the scent.

But the hotel just has Outdated room and bad odor!

The hotel reeks of Raid insect spray so they obviously have a problem.

We were told that there was no rooms left only to find out there were when they finally gave us another rooms both smelled completely like cigarettes and Marijuana.

The elevators were disgusting & felt like they’re going to stop working any day now.

Coffee was never hot and tasted old and stale; the microwaves have been removed from all rooms, you have to use the one in the lobby.

but other hamptons) have included out of service elevators, pools closed for maintenance, nasty desk staff.

As soon as I entered lobby I noticed trash in the sitting area, check in was a lil rough didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing elevator was dirty and room smelled and had moisture, spoke to a manager named Vero who was very rude!

Now, Let's talk about disgusting Towels all the time.

If you've stumbled onto any old reviews complaining about dingy, smelly rooms, IGNORE THEM!

The room had a foul smell which made it hard to breath and water wouldn't drain properly in the bathtub.

However, bathroom didn’t seem to be property cleaned and the room had a weird odor.

Paint smell, heavy hammering and noise early am, the elevator has serious noise issues throughout the nite and attention to detail in the renovated rooms needs some work.

My particular example (422) smelled musty.

After all of that corporate inefficiency, when I finally got to the hotel, my room was filthy and disgusting.

As we arrived at Rosen Inn, we entered the hotel car park and was greeted by welcome back.

Good security, car park barrier with guard & key access only gate.

The car park was large and security controlled, very comforting.

Hotel Facilities: The hotel had a large, free car park which was fantastic.

It's very close, you can see Volcano Bay for the car park.

You can see Volcano Bay from the car park and rooms.

The Security team on location are very good and helpful always someone on the door and at the car park keeping an eye on things.

Finally, the car park was onsite and secure, with a manned security hut and barrier (we were provided with a car park pass on arrival).

We arrived after a long days travel to a dusty, mouldy room overlooking a car park.

Parking was free with a resident's pass, and it was reassuring that there was always someone on duty at the security post in the car park that checked our passes on the way in.

I really like this hotel it's ideal for universal islands of adventure and viol an o island which can been seen from hotel car park it is very close.

Place is spotless clean and the location is perfect in heart of I Drive so no need for hire car as park shuttles and can walk to restaurants and bars nearby at night.

The hotel was of a central location, only 10 mins to Universal Studios car park and 25 mins to the Disney parks.

A large floor to ceiling window overlooked the car park an adjacent I4 highway.

Plenty of free parking and no resort fee, makes this hotel a great place to consider when staying in the area.

GROUNDS - There is plenty of free parking, which obviously helped as we had a car.

Free parking at hotel and only a 5 minute drive to Universal Studios.

The WiFi and parking were free, which isn’t always standard these days.

The free parking is convenient and the hotel location is excellent.

Free parking lot, different types of restaurants inside the premises and in a walking distance, and also a little market to buy some food and drinks.

Friendly staff, spacious, quiet and clean rooms, free parking, in walking distance from dining options, near Universal studios and they have free shuttles, free Wifi.

To wrap up, they offer free parking and free transportation to Universal.

Good points: very good location, rooms cleaned regular, staff friendly, good breakfast buffet, shop slightly over priced so get yourself to Walmart which is 5 mins drive and stock up as there is a fridge in the room, pool clean and plenty of loungers/ towels, free parking and Manager very helpful as she allowed us to stay until 3pm with no charge.

Parking was free and there was a lot except he reminded me not to park directly in front of the Shogun restaurant.

The hotel also had free WiFi, free parking, had a security guard onsite and laundry facilities.

There is free parking which we used every day.

but we chose to visit City Walk at Universal (parking is free after 6pm) and one of the eateries across the road from the hotel.

There was plenty of free parking, with no rest fees which was a bonus!

Had a free shuttle which sometimes you had to book, sometimes you didn’t 🤷🏼‍♀️but always ran on time.

The free shuttle to universal is good have to book day before and if you dont want to wait on first return at 5.10pm just jump on the one to endless summer resort which runs all day, walk through the carpark and cross the road to rosen.

I always seem to get good prices and the free shuttle to the park is a definite plus.

With that said, the places provides everything you can expect from other pricey resorts: you will always have a clean room, fresh towels, breakfast buffet, free shuttle to Universal, great Japanese restaurant next door, fitness center etc.

Clean and tidy and good location for all parks with free shuttles and i Drive trolly stops just outside.

Friends stayed there at same time and had free shuttles to both universal and disney.

Transfers – the hotel has a free shuttle to Universal which you can reserve a seat 24 hours before with Hotel services.

They have a free shuttle to bring you to universal studios every morning and evening

Would recommend the free shuttle to Universal Studios, and you must book the day in advance!

The location at the top of the I Drive is handy for universal (they have free shuttle to and fro) as well as Orlando premium outlet.

You can also book a free shuttle to Busch Gardens from the guest services desk, which leaves from the bus stand outside Universal.

They provide a free shuttle to Universal and they had a schedule so be on time when they picked you up and dropped you off.

Great location, around 20 minute walk to the universal park (also has free shuttle which we didn't use).

the hotel shop is a bit pricey so we use walgrens tips ask for main block and as high a floor as possible this negates any noise from the I4 road ask for a room away from the lifts.

but it is really noisy, luckily I took earplugs, but others didnt!

You do here the traffic quite loud at night

Interstate runs alongside hotel and is very noisy, never stops, not great if you're a light sleeper.

When I say you could hear absolutely everything, I mean it.

The rooms are a bit noisy, pool side somewhat quieter.

but emitting a lot of noise most of the time!

The windows in the rooms could do with been replaced with modern windows which block out noise from the freeway.

The A/C was extremely noisy

Mattress and pillows sub par
Wifi was extremely unstable 

Overall, if you are looking for a place to sleep and are willing to live with those minus, the property is for you.

It would not have a kettle, not all plugs were working, we found a finger/toe nail on the carpet, it was noisy in the evenings and when the air con was on.

For the 9 nights we stayed there we did not sleep a wink due to the sound of the traffic outside and the single paned glass.

They came up, I told them a cockroach came out of the tap and they said that wasn’t possible as it is sealed.

I got given a room right next to the washing machine room and was kept awake all night by the sound of the washing machine.

It kept us awake every night, it was so loud and uncontrollable that we turned it off at night and had to suffer the heat.

I could hear the highway and my room was humid my whole stay.

Yes others around us were noisy later in the evening with talking outside our room etc

The noise from the renovations on thd I4 are ridiculous trucks going back and forth until the early hours of the morning.

but didn’t last long (my room was on the 2nd floor) Front desk lady could’ve been a bit friendlier when I was checking in and I could hardly hear her through the glass and mask.

The only negative for the room was the noisy airconditioning.

The room was thick with dust everywhere and smelt very musty and there was a children’s book left under the chair so it was obvious it hadn’t been cleaned properly in ages.

This room was on a lower floor which had a strong smell of cannabis, we put up with this.

The humid smell in the room was overpowering.

I cant put my finger on what it smells like. .

There were people permanently sitting on the floor outside the entrance smoking, the area constantly smelt of weed.

It’s very outdated, not clean enough, smells bad, slow and non welcoming staff at the hotel reception.

the smell of weed on floor 2 was awful, if your going to smoke the rubbish do it in your own home!

We could smell it anytime we were near the door while inside the room as well.

but I would need to leave the room so it can air out the smell.

Not to mention the front lobby woman was unkind and rude, bed smells funny,

When my husband took a poop yup the smell was next to that area.

Also, on 3 of the nights there was a strong smell of marijuana on our floor of the Hotel despite there being a no smoking policy in place.

The carpet in the rooms smell and old, also all other facility.The windows were durty and shower small and uncomfartable.From inside and rooms it looks like an a cheapest motel and not 3 stars hotel.Breakfast in extra pay is not werth the cost .The hotel soppouse to have shuttle to universal park

Bad points: Room very small for families, lots of smokers which you have to walk through constantly at the pool area, swimming pool no where near child friendly it starts at 3.6 ft and goes up to 9ft!

I have been coming to the
Rosen Inn Closest to Universal for a few years now and it has always delivered on value.

it well placed for the universal parks being about 15-20 minute walk and now the number 38 lynx bus which stops outside the hotel goes to universal as well.

Positives - 
LOCATION - For Universal it really is a good location, 5 mins in the car, maybe a 20/25min walk.

This review is for the Rosen Closest To Universal.

Made full use of the regular free buses to Universal which saved me $120 on parking fees!

North end of international drive and very close to universal.

But- it was cleaned whenever needed, the staff was extremely helpful and it was close to Universal and quite close to Disney.

Great location for Universal and if you are doing Disney the wonderful Thomas will be able to sort you in VIP style.

its conveniently situated near universal apple-bees etc!

We wanted somewhere easy for Universal and also not too far from Daytona International and this fitted the bill.

Shuttle service to Universal worked well.

We recently stayed at the Rosen Inn Closest to Universal and we had an excelent time!

We will definitely stay here again the next time we go to Universal.
