Decor is a little dated and no elevator to floors 2/3 are the only negatives.

We were on the third floor and there is no elevator, so bringing luggage up and down was difficult.

The only bad thing about this hotel is there is no elevators and you have to pay for parking

Upon arrival we were told that they do not have any elevators at all.

There are no elevators, so we chose to only walk up the one flight (wouldnt want to be on the top floor if you have a lot of luggage!).

The only thing that could have made my stay easier was if I had noticed that the property DOES NOT have an elevator.

There are no lifts and pathways are narrow which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues and pushchairs.

As other reviews have pointed out there is no elevator
but this did not affect us as we requested ground floor suite for my parents.

There is no elevator to navigate to floor 2 or 3.

How did I miss seeing that there are no elevators?

It was on the 3rd floor, & the hotel has NO ELEVATORS!!!

There are no elevators so if stairs are an issue for you, you will want to ask for a room on the first floor.

but the pics were deceiving if you are looking for luxury keep looking this is value land and no elevator, dirty people at the hot tub!!!

We stayed on the third floor and as people mentioned there is no elevator so just be mindful if you have heavy luggage.

but there are no elevators which is a little annoying with kids, and I hate how so many Orlando area hotel chains have people in the lobby trying to sell you things.

Each trip we booked an all suites type property with free breakfast, internet and parking.

The free breakfast was amazing and offered a wide variety.

Included breakfast was excellent with something for everyone.

The complimentary breakfast is served later than most hotels, 7-10:30 am, and offers a good variety of food.

We spent 2 weeks at the Staybridge Suites as a family of 8, occupying 2 x two bedroom suites

The suites are spacious and comfortable, and an ideal location for exploring Disney (10 mins away) or other nearby attractions 

Facilities are excellent, with free breakfast each morning, offering a good selection of hot and cold options.

When you consider the free breakfast (eggs, sausage, bagels, waffles, toast, coffee, soft drinks) and the happy hour that they offered (free beer, wine, snacks) it is an incredible value.

There's ample parking, a complimentary breakfast, outdoor seating and pool area and a nifty social hour Monday to Wednesdays.

It is very well maintained, the staff is pleasant and accessible, and the complimentary breakfast is good as well as helpful if you want to save a few dollars.

Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the free breakfast and social hour.

Breakfast is included and there are plenty of choices

Theres a full kitchen if needed and they serve a lovely breakfast thats included.

Breakfast is free every single morning from 7-10.

Within walking distance of grocery store and many restaurants-even a Wawa.

Luckily we had one store nearby where we got Indian groceries.

It’s in a great area with lots of stuff available around, like grocery stores and Tesla chargers.

You are able to walk to several restaurants, pharmacy and grocery store.

Walking distance of a few shops for necessary groceries , a pharmacy and plenty restaurants all within 10 minute walk.

The resort is very close to the entrance of Disney Springs and is in walking distance to eateries, gift shops, and a grocery store.

There are several restaurants that are within walking distance, as well as convenience and grocery stores.

There is a grocery store across the street for anything you would need during your stay.

Convenient to so many restaurants (we love Sweet Tomatoes) and next door to a grocery store, across the street from Walgreen's.

There is also a grocery store and a Walgreens just across the street.

There are plenty of grocery, food and shopping options in the immediate area, and of course, the theme parks are just a short drive away.

There’s a grocery store, WaWa convenience store, and many restaurants (Italian, Mexican, Chinese/Japanese, American).

The location was excellent for us - not too far from any of the parks and close to a number of restaurants and a grocery store.

The location was conveniently located for all of the area theme parks, had two grocery stores within a mile of the property (Winn Dixie has better prices.

The drive to Disney was quick and easy, with lots of nearby restaurants and a grocery store next door.

Lots of places within walking distance such as grocery store, liquor store and  restaurants.

It was close to all the attractions and the grocery store.

We stocked up the kitchen area with groceries from the store down the street and it was just like being at home.

Walmart and Target within 15 minutes, grocery stores even closer, and Walgreens across the street.

Close to grocery stores, fast food and nice restaurants.

There is a grocery store, Walgreens, and restaurants very close by.

24 hour grocery store right across the two-lane, and restaurants and shopping across from the entrance.

It is located in a convenient location to all parks, several restaurants, with a Winn-Dixie grocery store, Papa John's pizza and a liquor store across the street.

Tui didn’t help neither they said even with teh smell it was an “unjustified move” hmm maybe the rep that attended had a ‘unjustified nose too’ because she agreed it was awful.

Not so good points:
The musty damp smell in the rooms.

The room smells like mold, worse than most Florida hotels.

but all the days after that - they must have sprayed something to get rid of the musty smell.

I hate having to walk through the smell just to get to my room every time.

but the moment we got in the room we had itchy throat and heavy breathing problems, to the point we had to use nasal sprays.

The front desk and lobby area is not impressive at all it looks more like a nasty convenience store, with one person serving guests so the wait time at 10 pm was quite long.

But when we got to our first room the sinks were clogged there were fleas on the nightstand and a musty smell .. after complaining we were put in another room with blood stained sheets and roachs be very careful people live in complex and move in with pets ….

but I think the outside access also lent to a slight musty smell from the carpet in our room.

Foyer smelled musty when we checked in and I thought ‘ah no.

I want to first say that the negative reviews that mention out dated, mold, dingy, etc.

There is a smell of a mix of old and dirty that hunt me all night long.

however have a suggestion - move the customer BBQ grill away from the smoking section, I don't want to grill my food whilst people are smoking next to it!!

but the carpet smelled so bad of dog urine I was unable to do so.

We opened the door and were greeted by the smell of cleaning products- not harsh over powering chemicals,

That being said, the furniture needed a major update, cleaning was spotty, and the bathroom had some pretty bad mold.

I don’t know if that ever happened because the smell persisted.

The basic amenities are very good and the breakfast buffet is more than enough to start your day.

Great hotel with comfortable, spacious, and clean rooms, pools, and a plentiful and varied breakfast.

The complimentary breakfast has enough choices to suit most.

The skinny breakfast gal was working very diligently in keeping breakfast replenished which was great.

The staff was extremely helpful, breakfast was delicious and it was nice to unwind after a busy day by the pool.

Rosa, Joanne and Luz amongst the rest of the staff made us feel like family and there was always a big smile and good morning from Joanne and Rosa at breakfast time!.

Free breakfast buffet with hot food was included and was great to enjoy before heading out for a long day at theme parks and fun activities.

Gabby at the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly… Joanne in the breakfast area was very good at keeping all of the items for despite a Rush of customers in the morning… His employees are a great asset to the Hampton Inn and should be recognized as such

Gabby was there when we arrived at 3am she assisted when we requested the roll chair for the shower, she did not wait to provide amazing service to provide for all our needs.

The breakfast is very good with good choices and the ladies work hard to keep hungry guests fed.

The breakfast each day was wonderful--good variety each day and was always clean and well-stocked.

The housekeepers I have spoken with have been very friendly and helpful.. and the lady preparing breakfast was great also. However,.

The person who worked  the morning breakfast,  Joanne was always asking if we needed anything.

Hotel was nice, clean, breakfast was good and it’s near by to many attractions.

The facilities are kept very clean and all is in order.

but I don't mind that so much as long as the hotel is clean and comfortable.

The room was exceptionally clean and anything I needed for my stay was handled immediately by the staff.

Breakfast was amazing.. the towels and sheets were clean the entire room was spotless..
My only constructive criticism would be to replace the air conditioning units.

Hotel is very clean the staf are very frenly and if you arive late they will give you the same griting has if you arive erly.

Clean rooms, fun place to be near the theme parks.

My husband and I are clean and figured all we need to do is ask for towels.

Orlando South Lake Buena Vista was a welcome respite from our road trip.

We took a road trip starting in Arlington, VA with a final destination in Miami, FL.

We took a road trip from Pennsylvania to Florida with stops along the way and back for a few days.

However, the room was indefinite of certain aesthetic repairs.

Honest review from a diamond perspective…

Room was humid and smelled musty.

but has enough equipment and just enough room to handle a few people.

Our room was enormous, 2 Q beds with a pullout couch, desk, kitchen area with fridge and sink.

The hotel is really outdated, I stayed at a two double bedded room plus a sofa bed for my family.

We had a very comfortable room and enjoyable stay.

The building, lobby and rooms are very nice.

Beds are comfortable and rooms are large.

Got us a comfortable chair for our room and got maintenance to work on the air and it worked wonderful.

Stay here and you will be happy with the location, staff, rooms, food and amenities like the pool.

They were very understanding and were able to find a room for myself and family.

The carpets are filthy and torn in places, the bathroom was worn, and the overall smell was musty.

Water smells like sulfur and chlorine

Stayed for one night prior to a cruise after a day at the parks.

We were put into a
moldy, mildew, musty room.

Room was musty and smelled like animal urine mixed in with the dated room, carpet was filthy, the water in the bathroom sink smelled like sulfur and we all smelled like strong chlorine after we showered.

Broken tub drain, broken ac unit thermostat, kept running all night, moldy or dirty ac filter, room smelled.

We were so grossed out, there was no way I was going to feel comfortable in that room for the remainder of our stay and we didn’t  want to switch rooms because we figured that if we found a roach in one room that they are probably in other rooms as well.

Cons:  Water had a bad smell, encountered a strange bug in one of our rooms, constant shortage of towels, hallways and common areas on the dirty side.

The room had an odor and the carpets were stained.

I was also asked to leave my room for a short period in the morning for them to check smoke detectors.

The shower appeared to have black mold on the doors, because it appears not to have been cleaned in, I don’t know how long.

Moldy, musty to the point where it was irritating to my throat and breathing.

Three free alcoholic drinks per person (21+) were offered each evening during dinner, as well.

they give out FREE food and drinks each day, the pool was nice and cool and hot tub was steaming hot.

They offer Breakfast and free food and drinks at night ,We are very pleased.

We were surprised to learn about included evening meals and drinks; evening meals were better than expected in that they were labeled snack

Adults are given a free beverage card which allows you to have 3 alcoholic drinks PER NIGHT between 5:30 and 7.

The meals and drinks alone saved us easily $100 a day.

After an exhausting day in traffic we were under the impression that drinks and food( we thought appetizers) would be a wonderful way to relax before going out for dinner.

Can’t beat the free breakfast and the kickoff plus the free drinks and free alcoholic drinks!

but wow, the evening snacks/dinning is also free and comes with 3 free alcoholic drinks!!!!

The associate said that we had 30 minutes left for the free drinks and meal.

The evening reception was very nice after a long drive the adults were able to get three alcohol drinks, wine, beer, margarita etc… the dinner was good with a wide variety such as hotdogs baked potatoes, salade etc… they had a popcorn machine for kids also.

We enjoyed warm greetings from staff, daily maid service (rare these days), prompt responses to our requests (like extra wash cloths and blanket), hot buffet style breakfast, and afternoon manager’s reception with various food and drinks.

Exceeded expectations, made us feel comfortable, very clean room and staff cleaning lobby all the time at breakfast and evening drinks and food.

Was more than impressed with the food and drink provided at the kick-back dinner and breakfast.

It’s plenty for a meal and they allow multiple alcoholic drinks per adult for free so that was amazing at this hotel price.

The free drinks and food are a great way to end your day, as is the pool and hot tub.

Complimentary breakfast, dinner and drinks (not a brown bag you pick up item).

Each adult guest was able to receive 3 alcoholic drinks of their choice and there was a hot meal served.

The evening food and drinks is a must ; safety procedures in place due to Covid 19 situation and we feel very safe ,  anytime in Orlando we will book again

There’s an amazing free breakfast and I can’t say enough Miss Vicky who works the breakfast shift.

For a very reasonable price, our king room on the top floor was clean and comfortable, breakfast was included and also drinks and snacks in the afternoon.

We decided to try the Drury because of the reviews and the fact they included breakfast and the kickback in the evening.

Free breakfast, 3 free cocktails in the evening as well as a full meal ( not just snacks) the night we stayed they had grilled chicken strips, salad, potatoes, green beans, not sure if there were desserts,

Between 5:30PM and 7PM the hotel offers a free appetizer buffet and free soft drinks
One night there was Pasta Alfredo, sliced chicken breast, mixed salad, nachos & cheese and more.

Place looks new and comes with complimentary breakfast, dinner, and 3 alcoholic drinks daily!

After a good nights sleep, free breakfast.

The free buffet breakfast here sets you up for the day, it's great.

The cherry on the cake is the complimentary breakfast and evening ‘snacks’ which can save a packet.

They have a nice free breakfast buffet and an evening buffet for their guests.

Good breakfast and great  evening complimentary snacks/drinks 
5 minutes away from Universal.

Every morning there is a complimentary breakfast with choices like eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and multiple choices of cereals.

They have free breakfast which is good and also a 5:30 meal which they have upgraded since the last time we were there.

The included breakfast was also generous and fresh.

We had stayed at a few Drury's while on a road trip and this one in Orlando was quite good, a decent value for Orlando.

This was our last stop on our US road trip.

He was genuinely interested in our trip & gave us a few ideas for our road trip up to New York. The only negative is we wish we had stayed longer :)

We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which was our best throughout our entire 2 week college road trip.

They also have fresh popcorn and an open soda machine.

Staff is very pleasant, rooms/bathrooms are spacious and clean, public areas inviting, free hot breakfast, free hot dinner, free soda and coffee available pretty much all day, fresh popcorn every evening.

With breakfast, dinner, cocktails and popcorn, soda and coffee available at no additional cost the value is just fantastic.

Amazing hotel with breakfast and snacks, free sodas, popcorn and a lot more.

I love their free soda machine and their breakfast as well.

You can get free sodas all day and night if you want.

The 24/7 complementary sodas, water, coffee, and tea were the icing on the cake.

Soda, juice, and coffee are still available self serve as they have always been.

But, I am surprised how much I've enjoyed the soda fountain for Diet Coke and filtered water.

The blueberry muffins are delicious and the free popcorn and soda at night are both great perks.

The lazy river was relaxing, the kids loved the slides, and I loved the hot tubs .

My grand daugther did not reach the tall size   In this fact, I am not agree because I choose the Resort for the vacation time of the kids.

Plenty of room 
-having laundry and dishwasher was helpful
-outside patio was a nice extra space 
-Very friendly and helpful staff 
-Lazy River was fun and heated so that was nice
-hot tubs 
-smart TVs with cable 
-free wifi 
-market had a good supply of items 

What could have been better:
-living room set up was awkward for viewing TV
-kids beds on wheels so they rolled around 
-main pool was cold and not very deep
-water slides hurt (could feel each seam as you went down).

We save a fortune when we go to Disney by staying off site at this resort and our kids love the pool and activities.

Very kid friendly and a great place to relax, after day out in the parks.

Loved seeing the little squirrels in the morning & the pool area was awesome, the kids loved it

I also enjoy the layout of the condo, has upstairs and downstairs which is great for separating the kids.

but we still enjoy a day in pool with some bingo activities,  trained dogs to entertain kids and  much more.

The lazy river was one of my kids favorite part of the trip.
