The evening reception was very nice after a long drive the adults were able to get three alcohol drinks, wine, beer, margarita etc… the dinner was good with a wide variety such as hotdogs baked potatoes, salade etc… they had a popcorn machine for kids also.

We enjoyed warm greetings from staff, daily maid service (rare these days), prompt responses to our requests (like extra wash cloths and blanket), hot buffet style breakfast, and afternoon manager’s reception with various food and drinks.

Exceeded expectations, made us feel comfortable, very clean room and staff cleaning lobby all the time at breakfast and evening drinks and food.

For a very reasonable price, our king room on the top floor was clean and comfortable, breakfast was included and also drinks and snacks in the afternoon.

but when we asked for one they only had one of that type left and iam telling you we were the first people in line when it opened.Well returning to the room we got greeted by giant roaches running around sink countertop.

Like had to move to open the door and the sink was so tiny!

So for the entire weekend the toilet was leaking water in the bathroom.

Bathroom was showing signs of wear and needed a bit of TLC.

Additionally, the bathroom door is quite inconvenient as it is a very large obstacle, barely clearing the toilet and makes movement in the bathroom restricted.

Marks on most of the walls/carpets, shower grouting not the cleanest, towels small and quite thin, dripping noise from the toilet constantly.

but one is in the bathroom so not really used.

Cons:
-For the price, beds measure as "Full" not a standard "queen," so that is deceiving for two adults who weigh 150 or more after spending a long, tiring day at the parks
-For the HHN package that we spent more than $3200.00 for two nights, and we were gone for more than 12 hours from our room from 8am-8:30pm, maid service would of been nice and a replacement of our towels which we left neatly in the tub for maid service.

If there were one thing I could change about the HRH, I'd improve the lighting in the vanity area of the bathroom.

The service did not clean the room, they only left 5 towels, and a bag full of shampoo and coffee.

Not as nice as Portofino/rooms smaller, not as many amenities

I was half-expecting to be billed for toilet paper, given the situation.

Open q-tips not replaced by housekeeping.

Beds were uncomfortable, rooms needed redecorating and bathrooms need modernisation!

- Rooms are run down, need a revamp especially the bed sheets and bathrooms.

The rooms are tired and in need of renovation - bathroom in particular.

Went to another desk to collect pre-ordered rusty tickets and girl there was rather rude and offhand, just responding to my request with a “ID”  - no please or smile.

Distance to Universal Studios, city walk, and Island of Adventure is great, either a great walk or a quick boat ride on the water.

The ease of reaching Universal Studios, City Walk and Island of Adventures is a massive plus point as is the front of line ride access available with a stay here.

We always stay here because it's convenient for City Walk and the parks, the fast passes are always welcome and early admission is useful.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for close proximity to City Walk, Universal and IOA .

We skipped breakfast at the hotel and went to Starbucks at city walk, we also took a couple of meals at City Walk as there are a variety of restaurants there.

Its a close walk or water taxi ride to both of the Universal parks and City Walk.

It literally took our family less than 5 minutes to walk to the Universal City Walk, to access Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

-Water boat taxi is fast and super clean and I recommend going to city walk for the first time by boat at night.

The hotel is very convenient as there is a walkway through some very nice gardens along the river.You can also take the river boat to city walk.

Very convenient to City Walk, US and IOA.

Lots of energy, great pool and super close to Islands of adventure, city walk and universal  studios!

It is so easy and fast to access the City Walk and Theme Parks.

It was fun to take the water taxi to the parks and city walk.

Hard Rock Universal is the best place to stay if you want to be extremely close to the parks and City Walk!

The short walk and or ferry ride to city walk alongside the express passes and early park admission makes this hotel well worth it and superior to some of the other surrounding hotels.

The staff was super knowledgeable about the parks and city walk and were very helpful with whatever questions we had.

The Great: location location location:) you can walk into city walk and the park in under 10 minutes so no big deal to pop back in the day or to beat the rush for early ride time (a must to ride Hageids if don't want to queue for hours).

Concierge offers dinner reservations at city walk.

It is so close to Universal Studios and to City Walk!

This is a very poorly run hotel and not worth the money, they are basically stealing money from people expecting to pay over $500 a night for these rooms with terrible conditions and service.

It is very expensive and everyone should remember this is a treat hotel, not your everyday Hilton, Marriot, etc.

The included express pass not worth the steep room price.

Because this was a present for my husband I booked and paid again for that night and we got allocated our room and Express Passes.

My only complaint was we paid for a pool view and there was a giant tree that covered up the entire window.

Gotta love it when there is no good customer service at a hotel that you pay 800 dollars a night for!

but for the cost of my two night stay stay I should have had no worries or issues.

But for $400 per night when we checked in the phone didn’t work, there was a stain on the bed sheet and the room was just not worth the price.

Couldn’t add one more day to my package so had to pay standard rate for last night which was petty steep and because we booked our last night when we first checked in(ie, before we knew what we had gotten ourselves into,) we couldn’t change and go to another hotel.

For instance, the fact that I had to pay $7.99 plus taxes for a water bottle just to make coffee in my room seemed excessive.

When you pay the amout for a room you expect a certain level of cleanliness which was not met.

Walls and base had alot of spills and stains throughout making it not very appealing especially for the price.

We ended up with various sharing platters, soft drinks etc and it cost more than the second night when we each had a proper meal in the Hard Rock Restaurant.

You room key gets the express access, most people have the key in a plastic wallet hanging from a lanyard, if you don’t want to pay for one at around $15 each then take one with you.

Hotel and food are def a little pricey and the rooms are kind of smallish,

If you are American, you don't even need to pay attention on this feedback because you are going to like this so-to-speak “resort” anyway.

The restaurants are a little pricey and they charge each day for parking which I thought was crazy.

However, breakfast was very expensive for the limited choice offered.

The hard rock has always been a go to as we love the rock music vibe

The Rock Royalty Lounge, easily accessed right outside the 7th floor elevators, is large, clean and bright.

The rooms are very spacious, we stayed in a junior rock star suite.

The Rock Royalty lounge does not disappoint with breakfast, afternoon snacks, happy hour, and bedtime desserts.

We walked around the Rock Shop, which for a hotel shop was pretty cool and had some good memorabilia on display.

Love the rock and roll 🎸 vibe everywhere and the friendliness of all the staff, it feels like a small hotel, we stayed at the club level and it was great to have complimentary drinks and food throughout the day.

The rock and roll memorabilia the hotel has are great, and the resort has a really high-end feel to it.

The hotel isn’t as Rock and Roll as they advertise, which could be a bonus.

I booked the Future Rock Star Suite located on the Rock Royalty Floor 7.

The hotel is clean and has a great rock atmosphere.

The rock royalty rooms are good as you get continental breakfast in the morning and snacks all day plus water and pop and in the evening, you get beer and wine along with different things so you could skip dinner and just eat there.

The beds are comfy and the rooms are pretty good, we stayed on the Rock Royalty floor which includes access to the lounge, which provides a very good breakfast and complimentary snacks and drinks throughout the day.

We stayed on the Rock Royalty floor and his service was immaculate!

We had Club Level rooms which were spacious and having the free snacks and drinks available throughout the day was perfect and time and money saving.

Anyway check in was easy, the room was spotless, the view from the room was spectacular, the club level room for snacks was handy.

Snacks were available in the afternoon, including popcorn, chips, cookies, granola bars, candy, etc.

The food was good, plenty of snacks and a happy hour is included for 2 hours - the staff member was wonderful !

We opted for the Rock Star Royalty level on the 7th floor and you get breakfast, snacks and a couple of options for dinner.

The hotel is located within walking distance to CityWalk and Theme parks,

The location is amazing if you are looking for the theme park experience.

Pros:
-Check in was easy with "Page" and she was friendly and welcoming
-Love the walking distance to theme park, shortest of the hotels that offer the Express Unlimited Pass, so we skipped using the water taxi ride back most of the time as it was faster.

It's still a great place to stay for access to the theme parks,

.staying at The Hard Rock Hotel automatically upgrades your tickets to fast pass on all the attractions apart from two at Universal studio theme parks.

The walk or boat  ride to citywalk  and theme park is convenient.

Main reason stayed at this hotel was closeness to the universal theme parks.

The rides and themes in the parks was amazing.

The Palm being a walk from the lobby is an added bonus and great for someone that likes an upscale theme park getaway.

Easy walk to the theme parks and so useful having the express passes included in the cost.

The early check-in, resort amenities, convenience to Universal theme parks, concierge services you name it every detail covered.

Loved the five minute walking trail to universal theme parks.

The staff in every area of the hotel from bell service, check-in, and cleaning were professional and polite, incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the Universal theme parks.

Hard Rock (to me) is the best hotel in the theme park area of Central Florida.

We chose the hotel mainly because of the unlimited express passes that come with the stay, and the fact it is the closest hotel to the two main theme parks.

It was only a 5 minute walk to the theme parks which was so nice.

Easy access to Universal City Walk and the Universal parks.

Great Location for all things Universal with the walk, Taxi Boat and Shuttle bus all very convenient to get you to City Walk and all the Parks.

The boat shuttles to and from the parks/ city walk to Loews Royal Pacific made everything so easy and quick.

It was a 7 min walk to the city walk, self parking was easy, Valet guys were helpful and friendly.

The boat to City Walk is really helpful and we also enjoyed the short walk on occasion.

Excellent location, just a short walk from City Walk and the Parks.

If you are into walking for exercise, there is a nice walking path from the hotel to City Walk and the Parks.

Just take a quick walk to city walk or you can take a boat or bus if there is rain.

This resort is amazing, close to Islands of adventure, City walk and universal studios.

It’s an easy walk to city walk and the parks and the express passes are a MUST!

We loved thecoation as it was ose in proximity to Universal theme parks and city walk.
