 - Not even at that the end of stay did they have the honesty to show me this extra charge.
 - Also, the outlets were hit and miss if they worked, so we had a hard time keeping electronics charged.
 - but were still forced to pay for the fish portion (though one time a different waiter charged us for a cheaper menu item to offset).

 - Definitely worth staying while in the Disney area, a quick 15 minutes to any park.
 - Door to door to Disney is 20 minutes; this includes herding the kids and parking.
 - It was an easy drive to Disney World, which was the main reason for our trip.
 - Less than two miles is a Publix and the outlet mall area and easy onto the I4 and a couple exits down into Disney.
 - Normally we stay on Disney property,

 - The only perks you receive for staying in this resort is transportation by bus to the parks, boat rides to Disney Springs, and a big extra 30 minutes entrance to the parks.
 - Last I have to give a shout out to Boat Wright's Dining Hall, great food and service.
 - One of our favorite things about this resort is the option of taking a boat to and from Disney Springs .
 - The boat access to Downtown Disney was an enjoyable touch as are the carriage rides if you are so inclined.
 - There were little man-made ponds and a river that takes you, via boat, to the French Quarter resort and to Downtown Disney.

 - It was well located between the parks meaning no bus journey was ever that long, and the resort is large enough that there’s a steady stream of transport options running, without us feeling lost in the grounds since our room was well located.
 - The grounds are lovely and the 0 entry pool was amazing!
 - The grounds are beautiful as well as the pool area with the cocktail bar which is a lot of fun.
 - The hotel is set in lovely grounds, the rooms are large with two queen size beds and plenty of space.
 - Unfortunate as the grounds were beautiful

 - It really feels like you’re a world away from the theme parks.
 - When we go to Disney World we like to stay at a Disney property to take advantage of transportation and extra magic hours.

 - We ran out of shower soap in the tub.
 - Fiber optic fireworks on the headboards and genie lamp shaped faucets.
 - So if you have a hot drink in them before hand you need to wash them before and the only place is the toilet we found.
 - but actually going to the bathroom.
 - Obviously we occasionally had a wait for the loo or shower

 - We did this trip with two 13-year-old girls in tow, the resort was very good, plenty of pools to cool off in at the end of a busy day.
 - I had visited Riverside on a previous trip as a child and enjoyed it, so it was an easy choice for a stop on our Honeymoon when we were looking for a moderate resort.
 - I'm hoping to take my grandsons there soon.
 - My 6 year old slept on the Murphy bed and had plenty of room to spare so an older child would be fine as well.
 - but then again my daughter preferred it Love Disney and want to mention our daughter had her birthday during this visit and a few little touches during the day were great

 - The river flows through the middle of the resort allowing for The fact that we could take a boat ride instead of a bus was also a great change from the norm, leaving quick access to Disney Springs.
 - You can catch a boat from there that takes you to Disney springs and there are numerous buses to take you to all the parks.
 - We loved taking the boat to Disney Springs & not forgetting our ride around the resort in a horse and carriage, lots of amazing memories made.

 - You can walk to riverside too and get the boat to the springs!
 - This resort in my opinion is the prettiest in Disneyworld, it’s such a fantastic setting and the beautiful centrepiece being boatwrights where you can catch the boat to Disney springs or even hire your own, don’t miss out this place when visiting.
 - Another huge benefit is the boats that take you to Disney Springs!

 - The phone had been turned in, and a cast member drove an hour and a half to Port Canaveral to give it to me.
 - There was a layer of dust on the phone and along the top of the TV.
 - It took well over 30mins to check in as the CM had to eventually go out to the back room and sort things out as nobody would answer the phone to her.
 - Wait, not enough of a wake up call?

 - I've stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter twice now and after staying at various other Disney hotels and as an adult with no kids i can say this is my favorite.
 - The pool area is great and splash area great for kids they do alot during the day for kids at the pool different activities some are free some are additional cost.
 - There is a splash area for smaller kids and a hot tub close to the pool area.
 - The pool is the best for kids as it has a children’s area and a large slide.
 - The pool was staffed with such friendly cast members that made sure the children had a fantastic time.

 - There are a myriad of table service restaurants throughout Disney World,
 - We visit Walt Disney World just about once a year,
 - For you Brits, sunbeds a plenty 😊 free towels, dining plan is hard to use even with all the snacks in the world consumed.
 - It was our first time in Disney World and if we go back, it'll definitely be to this resort.
 - After many, many years and a lot of saving my mother and I chose this hotel for our first ever visit to Disney world.

 - 10-15 mins by bus to all of the parks.
 - but the quick service meals at the parks and Disney springs were much better quality I feel.
 - They have a nice club ( The Scat Cat) to get a drink and listen to a band after a long day at the parks.
 - However, because WDW is so huge and attracts so many people, it can be time consuming just to get to and into theme parks with the required security now.
 - We were on the dinning plan so we would get 3 snacks and use 1 meal credit to take to the park with us during the day.
