Dead cockroach on the floor and just generally dull.

Then we found a cockroach in the bathroom which we had to kill.

but it did nothing, the bugs could still be seen crawling about.

Cockroach crawling around in the bed was an added bonus and the THREE dirty beads from a previous occupants braids that my 10 month old nearly swallowed while crawling around on the floor were very suiting to the place.

We had to be moved rooms because of cockroaches.

But biggest regret was not taking previous reviews seriously on the bugs which are quite poisonous.

The workers were out every day cleaning the walkways, there were no bugs and I was on ground level.

There was a roach in the bathroom area by the sink immediately after we noticed I sent a communication  letting the hotel management know and no response.

Bedrooms dated and grubby bath stained , found 2 roaches in kitchen area ,  called security due to strangers loitering outside our room for hours.beds comfortable breakfast was good , not of the standard we would usually expect disappointed

New room day 3:  get itchy bites on 3 of us, more so my 10yr old who has loads on her bum.

On our final day, we spoke with a few passengers who were returning home with us, who had visible bites caused by bed bugs.

The room smelled bad, it’s outdated, bathroom is really small, I got bit by bed bugs.

My older son and my mother that were in the same room too….were bitten too!!

It smelled so bad, then I found a roach on the floor.

The main issue we had during our stay was with 'No see ums', a very tiny species of biting insect that were in the room.

My only complaints are we found little gnat-like bugs and the bathroom mirror/vanity could use brighter bulbs.

The rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable just what you need after a long day at the parks.

The hotel's cleanliness standards are also questionable.

Honest hotel, cleaned daily, perfect for those who focus on theme parks, and are out all day and need a comfortable place to sleep.

The grounds of the hotel were kept immaculate, lovely clean pool area too.

but are comfortable and have everything that you need including microwave and fridge, the house keeping staff are amazing and keep the rooms so clean each and every day if you want it.

but they are clean every day, beds made, new towels, microwave, decent size fridge and coffee machine.

The place is clean, tidy, peaceful and very safe.

On international drive next to the world’s biggest McDonald’s and a short walk to Icon park.

Clean, comfortable and has plenty of the required amenities for you to enjoy your trip.

The kids loved the pools, nice and clean with free use of towels and sun beds.

but very clean .beds are good .pools are great .

Security staff are constantly walking round keeping an eye on things and I felt completely safe throughout.

but we still felt very safe and comfortable as there was security 24/7.

I felt so unsafe here, i wish i spent a bit more money and went to the Rosen Plaza where we have stayed before and its amazing.

Stayed here with family felt very safe with security around staff very amazing helpful rooms were very clean and pools were added bonus im currently looking to book again all guests I spoke to had stayed multiple times to I can see why ! !

but honestly felt so safe security roam the floors aswell doing their rounds as such they were so friendly!

I got the impression he was a sexist and I hadn’t felt that before.

We felt she was pointless and did absolutely nothing except effortlessly try and get you to buy some theme park passes.

The site is monitored 24/7 by security, so you always felt safe.

We felt safe and had a great stay for a quick girl's weekend in Orlando.

As a single traveller felt very safe in and around this hotel security staff present at both entrances and visibly patrol grounds at night.

but as we had unpacked, we felt we would stay put.

Although there was a free shuttle to universal, we didn’t use it as it was restrictive (only one a day and had to prebook it).

Free shuttles to Universal and only around 20 dollars to Disney.

Free shuttle bus to Universal Studios and the I-ride trolley bus was handy too just outside the hotel.

There is a free shuttle to universal which is great, and a disney bus which is $15 return trip.

Rooms are great, large, really comfortable bed, pool is great, bar nice and relaxing, nice touch to have free shuttle to theme parks.

There were free shuttles to Universal (4 in the morning, 3 in the evening) which was great.

But adequate for the $13 price (15% gratuity is automatically added)

Hotel offers services like free shuttles and paid bus services to theme parks.

Close enough to walk to Universal Studios, or there was a free shuttle option.

The hotel does offer a free shuttle to Universal, you need to book this 24 hours in advance down at reception.

Free shuttle to and from Universal was so worth it, just wished the last one was a little later so we could have seen the parade, yes we could have used Uber back,

The hotel provides a free shuttle to Universal Studios.

If you're going to Universal there's a free shuttle that runs 3 times in the morning - 745AM, 900AM and 1015AM - and 3 times in the evening - 515PM, 620PM and 725PM.

The hotel provide free shuttle to universal.

Staff were great and the free shuttle to Universal was brilliant - book the day before to guarantee a seat on later buses.

There are restaurants and shops in the hotel and free shuttle to Universal.

Stayed here wed 12/4 to sat 12/7 and it was amazing decorated perfectly for the holidays and as usual for MOST Rosens no resort fee free shuttles through out the day and low to no deposits.

The area around the hotel is very noisy at the moment due to building works outside and they’ve only just started, so bear this in mind.

**Noise Levels and Questionable Cleanliness**

Prepare to endure constant noise pollution throughout your stay at the Rosen Inn International.

The pictures on this site do not reflect the rooms we had the Air con sounded like a plane taking off they leaked and even stopped working.

Rooms got serviced every day, Pool areas got busy in the afternoons and stayed open until 10pm so where noisy at times.

One of the worst things we experienced was the constant snell of weed for nearby guests, it is a constant around the complex.

We were situated in the main section of the hotel by the pool and out of our 14 night stay we didn’t have a single peaceful nights sleep due to being disturbed by other guests and the cleaners pushing large bins around at silly hours of the morning.

You hear everything through it … I have been woken up a couple of times either during the night or very early in the morning because of people passing by who were not even talking that loud.

I asked for a quiet room away from the busy main road and was given 2114 by one of the pools this was a generally quiet location at night until you get the usual British tourists who are rude enough to play music and play games outside on the grass late at night with no respect for other guests,.

3rd night had a issue with noise as room by stairway and people hanging around after an evening out, phoned reception this was sorted straight away.

All rooms face the hallways and you could her everybody talking that walks through, the person with the noisy towel cart going around even before 7am.

I took the bus once and took an hour to get to Disney and over 2 hours to get back as got caught up in peak traffic.

but this is not a hotel just motel in my opinion.need renovation, very noisy close to universal studio , free shuttle bus service to universal studios.free parking.Cheap option for sleep in Orlando

Pounding on roof till sun down, Wi-Fi is worthless, TV reception on some channels not good, will not book here ever.

Unfortunately, we were on the ground floor, and there was a lot of road noise, and  people walking by.

Cup was covered in a sealed plastic of some sort.

We were awoken at 2am with someone banging on our door screaming they were going to kill someone.

Our room was in block 3000, top floor facing the pool, no issues with noise - I doubt any room facing the pool would have an issue.

They also have a habit of randomly becoming EXTRA noisy - like a motor noise.

There are so many resturants within walking distance, you are sure to find something.

but very close to several eateries and Universal/Islands and in a great location if you want to stay away from Disney hotels.

We ate there every morning and quite a few evenings as we found the food good and very reasonably priced.

We have stayed at this hotel 10 times, its a basic hotel with an excellent location on idrive close to lots of restaurants withing walking distance, or if you want to travel further bus stops are just outside.

The staff at reception, in the restaurant and the shop were all friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble if we needed any assistance.

Our room was accessible by elevators, had a microwave which made it easy to heat food or boil water in, a mini fridge, and a coffee maker.

Plenty of choice for breakfast and evening meal.

Can i just say Wendy in the restaurant is most loveliest person ever.

The food served in the bar was brilliant and good value - great to take away too.

Right next door to the world's biggest McDonald's and also near cicis pizza, IHOP, perkins, walgreens etc.

In the spacious room, there was a fridge and microwave so we could have breakfast and lunch there without spending too much on meals out.

Easy to walk to restaurants, super staff, check in very easy..

We ate several times at Cici's pizza ($9.99 for all you can eat buffet).

The room was clean and housekeeping visited every day.

The rooms were clean and tidy throughout in both rooms.

Rooms are clean and well maintained with a handy fridge and all the useful stuff like…hairdryer, microwave, TV etc… We stayed in room 1451 which was on the 2nd floor looking out at the car park and part of the pool area.

Rooms are clean , hotel facilities are looked after.

Lower Rates - Friendly Staff, Great Location, Great Wifi, Clean Rooms

The rates were perfect here, especially considering they have a clean hotel and clean rooms.

The room was clean and spacious and staff were friendly.

but rooms were clean and bed was comfortable.

Me and family was there for a week the rooms  were clean, the staff was nice and professional.

but a little expensive.Rooms are fine for 2 adults and 2 children or no more than 3 adults as the rooms could do with more storage space and maybe 2 bedside tables.The cleaners are friendly and clean your room everyday.Thankyou Rosen for a lovely stay.

There's a small safe tucked into one of the bedstands, which is easy to use -- I stashed our laptop and a couple of other valuables in it while we were on our evening out.

but we are now a family for ever, they had the most amazing time and the hotels so safe fir children 
We will hopefully return to our favourite hotel in 2024.

The room had a hairdryer, a coffee maker, a fridge, a microwave, a tv and a safe.

The staff had kindly stored the pushchair & ECV we had had delivered in a safe location for us.

Security officers man the two entrances 24/7, so it feels very safe too.

Hotel is clean, well maintained and safe with Security at both entrances (International Drive and Sand Lake Road) plus roving security patrols.

The Rosen Inn International was safe which is what matters to me most when I travel and the location on Idrive can’t be beat in Florida.

I have left my personal paper, atablet and wallet in the room safe and the  hotel arranged shipment to my next location. Thanks!

A fridge, microwave and safe are all provided and worked without incident.

This hotel is perfect for going anywhere in Florida, it is central to all the parks, malls, and being on International Drive it has all the restaurant and bars close at hand, 
The rooms are of a lovely size with fridge, microwave, coffee machine and safe, the beds were very comfortable and always clean and tidy, the room was spotless.

but a closer inspection reveals grimy corners, dusty furnishings, and lingering odors.

but a hot water kettle would be great

The luggage scales to be outside the luggage room so people can use the them freely (did witness colleagues getting frustrated when people were going back and forth - because they hadn’t got the weight right 

Address the smoking on the walkways to the rooms not pleasant to be walking through people smoke or vape - there are notices for the smokers these are ignored by many and not  seen to be enforced

I will not go back there we also had people smoking not just cigarettes

.. nothing is too much trouble 
Another downfall is Brits vaping and smoking outside rooms in walkways . .

The rooms were dated, dirty and had an awful smell.

When we got into the room, it stank of mustiness and when looking at the bathroom, the bath was full of old hairs and the showerhead was filthy.

The smell was getting into our bathroom, presumably through the vents, I have Asthma so this was not pleasant for me and my lungs.

When we walked in the room smelled terrible so we got some febreeze to help.

Noticed a few times a smell of weed around the pool.

Unfortunately, some guests thought it was ok to smoke weed, get drunk, and "F and Jeff" at other guests (bullying in numbers),

It’s disgusting a hotel chain like this supports such a scam and allows it on their property.

It’s OK, bathroom smelled like mildew and doors didn’t shut all the way.

Somebody was smoking in a room near us and I rang up, they sent someone to sort it straight away!

however dark, and very smelly, it wasn’t as noticeable after 10 or so minutes in the room.

It seemed clean and just old and a little damp smelling.

The rooms were very dated and smelt damp.

The next few days everytime we went into the room there was that damp smell

butt on the bed and watched anime while my mom had to work so honestly i think it was fine for that purpose lol but i do wish they had some more channels because it was really limited and i missed the new episode

The only nice staff members we came across was in the Restaurant and the security guards.

The staff were amazing they bent over backwards to make sure we had a lovely stay.

Cleaning staff did a great job.booked to return next March.

Staff were quick to accommodate our requests, including asking for a room overlooking the garden area.

The reception staff are friendly and efficient, the facilities around the hotel are great and the maintaince staff are always available 24/7 and fix things instantly if you have any issues.

Walgreens( 24hrs supermarket) is few minutes walking from the hotel, you can find Taco Bell and Dunkin Donut right by the hotel.

Be careful about cheaper tickets to universal orlando by the Wydham club staff opposite the reception desk.

For Disney park’s highly recommend Remi who can be found in reception or ask at the desk for contact number.

The staff on Reception were also so much friendlier and what you want on holiday.

They are not friendly and don't like to greet their guests with a smile.

The front desk staff are so helpful, check in was super fast, I asked for a room by the pool and we got that!

It was mentioned to the front desk who said they would sort it

but it was cheap enough to use Lyft when we were heading to Universal.

We used Lynx Buses #38 (for universal) and #42 & #8.

Hotel shuttle bus to Universal and Islands of Adventure is great

Great value hotel in an ideal location for the Universal Parks and International Drive.

Handy location for universal- we did not use the shuttle instead opted for the the Lynx bus back and forth for $2 each.

Definitely a Motel not Hotel, for the price I wasn't expecting much, the location is fantastic handy to everything and 10 mins from Universal.

We used the shuttle service to Universal every day and really couldn't fault the place.

Lyft and Uber are pretty cheap, there’s a shuttle to Universal you can organise at the vacation planning desk and the Trolly bus is cheap for getting up and down I-Drive.

Easy to book for the universal shuttle too.

Good hotel for shuttle to universal - great location on Idrive.

Universal & Seaworld are on the I trolley  route or just a few dollars in a Lyft.

I was getting to the park around 2 p.m.  And I went 3 days to Universal.

It was easy booking a shuttle bus to Universal,

This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment, whilst the rooms are large the lighting is poor and the furniture dark and some of the drawers were difficult to open.

The furniture is dark wood and the paint work is a dull brown/beige colour which gives it an unlit feel, lighter furniture and paint would make this a more attractive hotel,

Rooms - DATED, DARK, SMALL can't open nets as people walking passed, light don't give off much light, furniture dark brown, carpet not sure if there were dark our just pure dirty.

Initial impressions extremely dark rooms with dark  furniture and very poor lighting.

Rooms were a bit dull, all very dark furniture and carpet etc

The rooms are dark and the fridge kept freezing our food so had to throw away.

but very dark and dingy especially the bathrooms.

This is definitely a motel not a hotel rooms are very dark and dingy even with all of the lights  on and curtains open

Very worn down motel type room, dark, old, low ceiling.

Iron and board also and Iron looked brand new, also hairdryer, the furniture is a wee bit dated, all dark wood , and could be modernised,

Outdated as mentioned in previous posts so rooms a bit dark and tired looking

Now to the room it's self, very basic, very dark and dingey, very out dated.

Zebras sports bar was very dated, decor was very dark and brown everywhere, drinks selection ok.

The bathroom was nothing short of horrible, the taps made noises, the wardrobes didn’t open the front door wouldn’t lock properly!

but maintenance decided to work on the door at 11pm, other family next door heard them banging away at it.
