The boat service was so quick and the captains were friendly.

Great Location for all things Universal with the walk, Taxi Boat and Shuttle bus all very convenient to get you to City Walk and all the Parks.

The boat shuttles to and from the parks/ city walk to Loews Royal Pacific made everything so easy and quick.

Park boat access was very efficient and saves time.

The boat ride to the parks is so much better and shorter than parking at the parks.

In terms of transport to universal, the boat is a lovely way to travel.

The boat to City Walk is really helpful and we also enjoyed the short walk on occasion.

Locations are perfect to universal studio, we can walked or took the boat to go to universal parks, excellent services, staying at the club level very satisfied with the service!

The little boat service into Universal was excellent and fun.

There is also a boat to get to the parks or alternatively a walking route - both are quick

We enjoy the boat taxis that take to the parks and City Walk as well as taking you back to the hotel when you are done having fun.

Immaculate room, extremely friendly staff, good food, beautiful pool area, great boat ride to parks from hotel, plenty of chairs around pool area,   hotel is a GEM.

Just take a quick walk to city walk or you can take a boat or bus if there is rain.

Our fav part was the express pass perk and being able to take a boat to theme parks or city walk.

but, its an easy walk or boat ride int the park.

The resort is only a quick boat trip from the parks, you can also walk there as it's only a 5/10 min walk from the lobby to the security area which is located at the side of Magaritaville.

The boats to the park was amazing though.

The proximity to the parks is one of the things that makes this hotel so perfect, a 7 minute walk to IOA or a very nice boat ride and the advantage of going through security checks before you get on the boat, if you walk the security check is by Margaritaville.

Easy access to Universal City Walk and the Universal parks.

It was a 7 min walk to the city walk, self parking was easy, Valet guys were helpful and friendly.

Excellent location, just a short walk from City Walk and the Parks.

If you are into walking for exercise, there is a nice walking path from the hotel to City Walk and the Parks.

This resort is amazing, close to Islands of adventure, City walk and universal studios.

It’s an easy walk to city walk and the parks and the express passes are a MUST!

We loved thecoation as it was ose in proximity to Universal theme parks and city walk.

The location of this hotel allowed the feasibility to walk to Universal Studios, Island of Adventure and City Walk.

Location ideal for easy access to City Walk and Parks.

But the City walk which is just a ride away has great options if you are not too tired.

The location was perfect, only a 7 minute walk to the theme parks and city walk.

This hotel is close to all the parks and City Walk.

The availability of the water taxi was great - we took advantage of the water taxi every day which took us from the hotel to City Walk.

Shop was good for grabbing breakfast / coffee / snacks at the start / end of each day.

Tuck Tuck is a grab and go and quick service snack and coffee shop that has a great assortment of items to snack on or for a quick lunch or dinner.

Always have access to water bottles, coffee, and soda.

The tip is to use the tuc tuc cafe instead as it opens earlier than restaurants and serves decent pastries and coffee.

There is regular or special coffees, sodas and water available all day.

The Tuk Tuk market is next to the lobby and you can grab a quick coffee or fruit or even pre packed breakfast.

The room had tall mini-fridg that we used for fruit and juice from the Tuk Tuk, which we purchased each night for the next morning. The coffee maker with K cups, replaced daily, was great each morning (and we brought our own tea bags from home.)

It had everything we needed, including a coffee maker with daily restocked coffee capsules, soft and very clean sheets and towels.

We love the convenient Tuk TuK spot for a quick bite, or Starbucks coffee!

There was also a selection of juices, lots of tea, coffee, cold drinks and fruit.

So being able to pop into the club and grab a bite before heading out for the day sounded like a great idea. Additionally, as a coffee snob (I own it!)

Desserts are from 8-9 and included two special ones such as key lime pie/chocolate canolas or apple pie/mud pie and cookies (chocolate chip, M&M, and sugar).

The reception area and the shop are fantastic - great to get your morning coffee before walking to the parks.

The staff at Islands dining are so attentive and helpful- breakfast buffet is definitely worth it, you can even take your coffee to go!

Only stayed one night and was great

The sushi restaurant is excellent great food options and coffee for a quick start.

We have stayed there many times and the offers of compensation were pretty much a slap in the face for the damages done both to the milk and my wife’s well being.

The 4 of us got breakfast in the lounge 4 mornings, plus unlimited water, soft drinks, tea/coffee etc.

Coffee machine with pods refreshed every day and a decent sized fridge for storing milk etc.

We still had plenty of time to go so took advantage of the Starbucks coffee on offer.

The room next too us was noisy and thre their bedding and food boxes into the hall and blocking our door .. no One would come clean it up for days

Our bathroom door was broken and took an hour to ROOM SERVICE water.

A very nasty upsetting letter was placed under my door on Sunday, 8/6 stating my credit card payment had been declined.

There was essentially a hallway in the room, where a door could have been added that would have killed 80% of the corridor noise dead.

We leave our room at 0700 to get breakfast and early park access, put the make up room sign on the door and return at 1600 to find it’s not done….whilst getting changed to go out again, get a knock on door saying your my last room, if I don’t come in now it won’t be done……next day decide to have a lie in, knock on door at 0915, we ask them to come back as we are just getting ready, left at 10, put note on door to make up room….came back at 2000 hrs….not done…..only a little moan,

Our room smelled(smells stay in carpet, don't understand why they haven't put some type of laminate down) The dividing door to the bathroom was terribly off track.

but the refrigerator did not work and needed to be replaced and the hotel room door stuck pretty bad.

The people next door also said their USB ports were worn out
and not usable.

The bathroom just had a sliding door that didn't provide much privacy as you could hear everything.

There is nowhere to park a double stroller without partially blocking the door.

The layout was a bit odd as there was a lot of empty space right by the door,

You can hear every conversation that happens in the hallway - the doors are not soundproofed 4.

The walls were dirty, the blankets were ratty, the bathroom door was off its rollers so you had to have upper body strength to be able to close it fully, the view was awful.

- The bathroom door does not have a lock.

The noise from the family in the adjacent room was made worse by the connecting door.

It’s a little noisy trying to sleep each time someone in your party gets up to use the bathroom because the door doesn’t shut and the light shines through.

The bus driver ran over a curb, parked the wheelchair ramp in front of a poll then could not get the bus doors to close multiple times and walking was not an option due to a thunder storm.

The carpet in the hallways and rooms are dingy, and the amount of dirt under the sliding door in the bathroom is gross.

So grabbed my daughter and marched down to reception, very blasé staff not seeming to be bothered . Spoke to the first manager - who said it was “normal” for Florida (a seven story room with no opening windows/balcony doors!!)

Eventually falling asleep we are then disrupted at 8.30am to abrupt house keeping “checking out?” I explained politely “yes at 11am” 9.30am door again “checking out yet!” 

This was worst experience I’ve experienced in a long long time.

Staying here gives you fast pass access to most of the rides in the park (except Hagrid) and rooms and well appointed and comfy.

The resort is beautiful, staff is excellent (especially Kellie F)the food is great and the convenience to the parks (water taxi) is perfect!

Being so close to the parks and the water taxi is a great service never waiting  more than a few mins and fast passes to the park which are included really make it, we walked on to most rides with no q, kids loved it.

We planned on visiting Universal and didn’t want to take away from that magic by having a kids water park in the back.

The waiter was great hotel so convenient you get fast passes to go into the park.

We enjoy staying on property and the added benefit of having the express passes and early park admission.

Hotel was extremely clean (stayed in Jurassic park kids suite) had amazing views of the park out of our window.

We justified the cost with the unlimited express pass, proximity to the parks and the free park transportation.

Can’t beat the express passes, garden path walk to the parks, quality of  food and drinks or pleasant staff.

Good place to stay while going to Universal parks, unfortunately that's it.

Hotel is beautiful, clean, convenient to the parks and well worth the splurge.

Not having to drive or park anywhere made life so easy and having early park admission allows you to go on rides without a wait for an hour.

but the staff was amazing, location was great, room was adequate for two people and the park perks (were looking at you, unlimited express pass.  )

Self parking is overpriced at 28 dollars a night to park in an open lot that is not close to the hotel.

What I liked :

- High quality beds
- Great conciergerie
- Many services provided
What I did not like :

- Too loud, poor room phonic isolation
- Food is overpriced
- Universal Express Pass doesn't apply for Volcano Bay
- Room theme is very poor and not adequate with the standard.

While the hotel may seem expensive, it comes with UNLIMITED Universal Express Pass.

King suite charged $400 per night: Suite was half the size of a cheap suite at Disney.

Not a great impression when the rollaways cost money and you are staying at a $400+/night hotel.

We wouldn't normally pay this amount for a hotel (or pay for express passes)

It was dirty and old, and smelled a little, and parking was overly expensive at $30/day,

Also, when checking out we were not allowed to have a luggage cart, essentially setting us up for having to use the Bell hop services and pay one more tip.

but not the original assigned room or type I booked, reserved and paid for.

Moved to a lower resort at the promise of a lower price (had to pack up within 10 minutes) and were charged full price for the replacement resort with much fewer ammenities.

The shop in the lobby (Tuk Tuk I think it is called) has a limited range on offer and is very expensive (two bottled drinks and two bananas came to just under $12).

People stay here / pay a premium for the Express Pass to avoid long queues in the adjacent theme parks.

I would probably rate this hotel as substantially overpriced if it was not for these factors.

Additionally:

We had no working in room wifi for the duration of our (shortened) stay - Tower two 5th floor (5th Aug) 

I had to try 3 floors to find a working ice machine (5th & 4rd not working) 

For the cost of the room I would have expected a complementary bottle of water in the room rather than 2 bottles with a 7.5USD price tag attached.

The price of the hotel is making this not worth it.

but when all things were considered… although the room was expensive, getting by the early entry (btw you should show up 45 minutes to an hour ahead of opening time) and the unlimited fast pass meant that the room was almost free due to the ridiculous price increase on these if you buy them piecemeal during the summer peak.

but it costs a bomb to stay here and the house keeping is a let down

Also, we split the room cost between families and now we cannot get the billing correct.

The rooms are quite expensive for what you get.

Hotel was so convenient the staff was great.

Hotel staff played dumb when brought to their attention.

We enjoyed our meal at Jakes and our waiter was friendly and attentive.

Staff was friendly and the food was excellent.

Cornell at the front desk was our first into to the awesome service we would receive during our stay.

The luggage hold was also extremely helpful.

The hotel was warm, welcoming and clean !

The pool was great, and so were the water taxis.

The hotel is walking distance from Universal (10 mins) or you could catch the water taxi (easy to get on, also about 10 mins).

While both a shuttle and water taxi were available, we opted to walk down the beautiful path.

The water taxi is a quick convenient ride to the parks.

We had an amazing time and the water taxi to and from the hotel was very convenient.

The water taxis are super convenient and the food in the Royal Club lounge was excellent!

I highly recommend the water taxi due to the convenience and ease of security into City Walk.

The Royal Pacific Hotel is a clean unassuming hotel overlooking Islands of Adventure at Universal.

The pool is large and heated and our kids had a great time playing on non Universal days.

First id like to say that Universal will always be a great trip.

Staying on property at Universal is so worth it.

We like it better than the other deluxe resorts at Universal.

Would definitely do it again if I return to Orlando and am visiting universal parks.

This is the more affordable of the three Universal Premier hotels.

Loews Royal Pacific Resort is a excellent choice to stay during your Universal vacation.

Very easy access to the Universal parks and the transport to Volcano Bay was regular and fast.

Booked a Universal trip for our family of 4 for our first REAL vacation in years and we stayed at The Royal Pacific.

Hotel is great proximity to all things Universal and Disney and transportation is provided.

I had an amazing tim at universal resorts there were so many amazing things that we were able to do in such a great timely manner considering everything is so close.

We would definitely come back for our next universal trip!

We have always had a great experience at Universal Resorts.

We had a good time visiting the Universal Theme Parks.

It’s a really big hotel and lots of walking.

The hotel atmosphere is fantastic and we love the proximity to the parks - a short walk to both parks and CityWalk.

We even came back to the hotel from the parks (10 min walk) to have dinner in the club due to enjoying it so much.

Loews Royal Pacific is a beautiful resort just a short 5-10 minute walk from the Islands of Adventure theme park.

Less than 10 minutes walk to Islands of Adventure.

but if you are planning on rope-dropping anything, the walk is usually a faster way as you have no queue.

Getting the boat to magic kingdom was a huge added bonus and made the experience even better.

The monorails and boats are nice and convenient also. 2.

It’s so close to Magic Kingdom that it only requieres a short monorail or boat ride to get there (probably 5 mins).

My favorite thing about G.F. is how close all of the rooms are to the monorail station,  bus stop, boat dock, pools and the restaurants.

We frequently utilised the boat to Magic Kingdom, the monorail to Epcot and the buses to the other parks, and on the whole, they were quick, clean and run by friendly staff.

1 stop on the monorail, 5 minutes on the boat or about a 10/15 walk.

No matter the age, this hotel is amazing, from the smeel at the door, to the cast members, and jst the chance of seeing the fireworks from Magic Kingdom is so cool, having the monorail and the boat to go to the park.

The resort is designed in a way that no matter where your room is located, you are close to the main hotel building, the boat launch, bus stop and pools.

Always friendly

And riding the private little boat to the Magic Kingdom was amazing.

We also liked the close proximity to Magic Kingdom and definitely utilized the boat service.

Pros - It is on the monorail line, the Mad Hatter themed pool, many places to eat, free music entertainment in the main lobby, high end rooms at the villas, 1900 Park Fare Character Restaurant, boats to Magic Kingdom, Magic Kingdom fireworks from the boat dock, Christmas time they build a giant ginger bread house, Easter time deluxe art chocolate eggs, and you receive exceptional service.

We opted to use the boat transportation coming back which is fine.

And upon returning it’s faster to take the boat.

Book one  of  the  boats  and drive  around  the  lagoon ,well worth it

Magic Kingdom is a quick monorail or boat ride away.

It is one stop from the MK and has direct boat launch access to the MK as well. 2.

We were a very short walk from the ferry dock, which made it extremely convenient to catch the boat to Magic Kingdom.

There is also the option to take a small boat between Magic Kingdom and the Grand Floridian which is lovely when the weather is nice.

Monorail in hotel was convenient along with bus and boat service.

but the QS Gasparilla Grill, was handy to our room (Sugar Loaf building) and was great for filling up our refillable cup and grabbing a quick dinner or snack. We also had breakfast in the Grand Floridian Cafe which was super, a good mix of fancy options and normal options (great for the fussier eaters in our group!)

The pillows were soft, the bed was amazing, a fridge and coffee maker- 7th Heaven!

but realized we could get a good breakfast at a lesser price in the coffee shop and you could order from your room, head down and it would be ready, boxed nicely for you.

The QS restaurant had yummy choices for lunch,dinner,late snacks and coffee.

She was kind enough to say, no problem, I'll call and order you some coffee.

Furniture, bedding, Keurig, mini-fridge, etc., all nice enough.

We enjoyed the tea service at the afternoon tea, and an amazing dinner at Narcoossee’s.

We also had a wonderful breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe and a lovely afternoon tea at The Garden View Tea Room.

The afternoon tea was wonderful and we had a stroll around afterwards, ending up in Narcoosse’s for cocktails.

The bedroom had lots of amenities- I definitely used the takeaway cups to make coffee to go in the hotel room before the Extra Magic Hours at the parks.

We had Afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian.

I enjoyed sitting on my balcony with a cup of coffee in the morning.

Overall the service at the sugar loaf club level is great!

I appreciated the Keurig coffee maker and coffee for the morning and mini fridge in our room.

And if you care about having the most magical experience and have the money to do so - book the Grand Floridian - Sugar Loaf.

Safe in room along with coffee maker (decent coffee too) and a quiet mini fridge.

The Club Level offers a continental breakfast (which was not as big as our May 2018 stay when they made fresh Mickey waffles one morning), afternoon snacks and tea, cocktails and appetizers in the evening and sweet treats later in the evening.

My family stayed for 2 nights  in the sugar loaf building, also known as “outer building club level “ and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect 2 days!

We visited both the quick service (for coffee primarily) and Narcooses.

I would love to be there right now sipping my coffee in the morning or my cocktail in the evening as I soak in the views.

We mostly used the walkway between the resort and Magic Kingdom as it was right next to Sago Cay and took approx 15-20mins to walk, and is really pleasant and you get great views over Seven Seas Lagoon.

-This hotel is perfectly located on the Monorail for both Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Could not have wished for a better place to stay whilst visiting Disney World.
