Easy access to Universal City Walk and the Universal parks.

Great Location for all things Universal with the walk, Taxi Boat and Shuttle bus all very convenient to get you to City Walk and all the Parks.

The boat shuttles to and from the parks/ city walk to Loews Royal Pacific made everything so easy and quick.

It was a 7 min walk to the city walk, self parking was easy, Valet guys were helpful and friendly.

The boat to City Walk is really helpful and we also enjoyed the short walk on occasion.

Excellent location, just a short walk from City Walk and the Parks.

If you are into walking for exercise, there is a nice walking path from the hotel to City Walk and the Parks.

Just take a quick walk to city walk or you can take a boat or bus if there is rain.

This resort is amazing, close to Islands of adventure, City walk and universal studios.

It’s an easy walk to city walk and the parks and the express passes are a MUST!

The location of this hotel allowed the feasibility to walk to Universal Studios, Island of Adventure and City Walk.

Location ideal for easy access to City Walk and Parks.

But the City walk which is just a ride away has great options if you are not too tired.

The location was perfect, only a 7 minute walk to the theme parks and city walk.

This hotel is close to all the parks and City Walk.

The availability of the water taxi was great - we took advantage of the water taxi every day which took us from the hotel to City Walk.

The room next too us was noisy and thre their bedding and food boxes into the hall and blocking our door .. no One would come clean it up for days

Our bathroom door was broken and took an hour to ROOM SERVICE water.

A very nasty upsetting letter was placed under my door on Sunday, 8/6 stating my credit card payment had been declined.

There was essentially a hallway in the room, where a door could have been added that would have killed 80% of the corridor noise dead.

We leave our room at 0700 to get breakfast and early park access, put the make up room sign on the door and return at 1600 to find it’s not done….whilst getting changed to go out again, get a knock on door saying your my last room, if I don’t come in now it won’t be done……next day decide to have a lie in, knock on door at 0915, we ask them to come back as we are just getting ready, left at 10, put note on door to make up room….came back at 2000 hrs….not done…..only a little moan,

Our room smelled(smells stay in carpet, don't understand why they haven't put some type of laminate down) The dividing door to the bathroom was terribly off track.

but the refrigerator did not work and needed to be replaced and the hotel room door stuck pretty bad.

The people next door also said their USB ports were worn out
and not usable.

The bathroom just had a sliding door that didn't provide much privacy as you could hear everything.

There is nowhere to park a double stroller without partially blocking the door.

The layout was a bit odd as there was a lot of empty space right by the door,

You can hear every conversation that happens in the hallway - the doors are not soundproofed 4.

The walls were dirty, the blankets were ratty, the bathroom door was off its rollers so you had to have upper body strength to be able to close it fully, the view was awful.

- The bathroom door does not have a lock.

The noise from the family in the adjacent room was made worse by the connecting door.

It’s a little noisy trying to sleep each time someone in your party gets up to use the bathroom because the door doesn’t shut and the light shines through.

The bus driver ran over a curb, parked the wheelchair ramp in front of a poll then could not get the bus doors to close multiple times and walking was not an option due to a thunder storm.

The carpet in the hallways and rooms are dingy, and the amount of dirt under the sliding door in the bathroom is gross.

So grabbed my daughter and marched down to reception, very blasé staff not seeming to be bothered . Spoke to the first manager - who said it was “normal” for Florida (a seven story room with no opening windows/balcony doors!!)

Eventually falling asleep we are then disrupted at 8.30am to abrupt house keeping “checking out?” I explained politely “yes at 11am” 9.30am door again “checking out yet!” 

This was worst experience I’ve experienced in a long long time.

Self parking is overpriced at 28 dollars a night to park in an open lot that is not close to the hotel.

What I liked :

- High quality beds
- Great conciergerie
- Many services provided
What I did not like :

- Too loud, poor room phonic isolation
- Food is overpriced
- Universal Express Pass doesn't apply for Volcano Bay
- Room theme is very poor and not adequate with the standard.

While the hotel may seem expensive, it comes with UNLIMITED Universal Express Pass.

King suite charged $400 per night: Suite was half the size of a cheap suite at Disney.

Not a great impression when the rollaways cost money and you are staying at a $400+/night hotel.

We wouldn't normally pay this amount for a hotel (or pay for express passes)

It was dirty and old, and smelled a little, and parking was overly expensive at $30/day,

Also, when checking out we were not allowed to have a luggage cart, essentially setting us up for having to use the Bell hop services and pay one more tip.

but not the original assigned room or type I booked, reserved and paid for.

Moved to a lower resort at the promise of a lower price (had to pack up within 10 minutes) and were charged full price for the replacement resort with much fewer ammenities.

The shop in the lobby (Tuk Tuk I think it is called) has a limited range on offer and is very expensive (two bottled drinks and two bananas came to just under $12).

People stay here / pay a premium for the Express Pass to avoid long queues in the adjacent theme parks.

I would probably rate this hotel as substantially overpriced if it was not for these factors.

Additionally:

We had no working in room wifi for the duration of our (shortened) stay - Tower two 5th floor (5th Aug) 

I had to try 3 floors to find a working ice machine (5th & 4rd not working) 

For the cost of the room I would have expected a complementary bottle of water in the room rather than 2 bottles with a 7.5USD price tag attached.

The price of the hotel is making this not worth it.

but when all things were considered… although the room was expensive, getting by the early entry (btw you should show up 45 minutes to an hour ahead of opening time) and the unlimited fast pass meant that the room was almost free due to the ridiculous price increase on these if you buy them piecemeal during the summer peak.

but it costs a bomb to stay here and the house keeping is a let down

Also, we split the room cost between families and now we cannot get the billing correct.

The rooms are quite expensive for what you get.

The resort is beautiful, staff is excellent (especially Kellie F)the food is great and the convenience to the parks (water taxi) is perfect!

Being so close to the parks and the water taxi is a great service never waiting  more than a few mins and fast passes to the park which are included really make it, we walked on to most rides with no q, kids loved it.

The pool was great, and so were the water taxis.

The hotel is walking distance from Universal (10 mins) or you could catch the water taxi (easy to get on, also about 10 mins).

While both a shuttle and water taxi were available, we opted to walk down the beautiful path.

The water taxi is a quick convenient ride to the parks.

We had an amazing time and the water taxi to and from the hotel was very convenient.

We used the water taxi everyday to get to the parks, very fast and convenient transportation.

Very close location to the parks and you can take the water taxi, shuttle bus or even walk to them!

We enjoy the boat taxis that take to the parks and City Walk as well as taking you back to the hotel when you are done having fun.

The water taxi was so fun and quick to and from the parks, we never waited more than 5 minutes to hop on a taxi.

The water taxi was super convenient and if you wanted to walk, it was really close.

The water taxis are super convenient and the food in the Royal Club lounge was excellent!

I highly recommend the water taxi due to the convenience and ease of security into City Walk.

Loews Royal Pacific is a beautiful resort just a short 5-10 minute walk from the Islands of Adventure theme park.

We had a good time visiting the Universal Theme Parks.

We were able to check-in well ahead of time in order to use fast passes in the Universal Studios theme parks.

We choose this hotel because of its proximity to the Universal theme parks and the City Walk area.

We didn't have to rent a car due to the close proximity to the theme parks and City Walk.

The resort was within short walking distance to  the theme park with a nice nature view.

Free express passes, early admission to the theme parks, and transportation 
made a $500 a night stay worth the money, especially when you take in consideration for the cost of express passes.

Everything was excellent from the arrival, check-in, staff, getting our theme park tickets and the location was perfect.

My wife and I had a great time at Universal theme parks.

It was close to all of the Universal theme parks and City walk which was nice.

We stayed here for two nights and the hotel had a great atmosphere, staff could not do enough to help us, the pool area was clean and fun for the family, the walk to the theme parks was short and the water boats were frequent.

We looked at many Universal properties and chose Royal Pacific due to its theme/pool area, family suite option, and its proximity to City Walk and the theme parks.

We booked a night on our two week stay from UK to assist our visit to universal theme parks and received excellent friendly service in the beautiful royal pacific,we were upgraded to concierge level and we and our two grandchildren enjoyed Royalty service from friendly staff also restaurant food of highest quality.Access to parks by boat or river walk very relaxing and reduced stress on our stay poolside so enjoyable with brilliant  facilities and attentive knowledgeable staff.We look forward to a return visit for longer stay to utilise benefits of early park entry and express ride entry,thanks to all at royal pacific rooms so well appointed with amazing views

Club level food and drink options were great, especially the ability to grab unlimited bottled water for days in the theme parks.

Resort has a van for trips to local grocery store.

Units were spacious and clean and well stocked.also close to grocery, liquor stoes and pharmacy.

The fact that we are not too far away from groceries, salons, liquor store is great.

There was a shuttle available to go to the grocery store if you needed it and transportation to the theme parks so you could come here without a car.

Negatives include a $50.00 resort fee per week to use the pools, gyms etc, No mid-week cleaning servicers and it is hard to communicate with much of the staff.

The good: available, low point exchange, super clean, nice cleaning staff, location is great for us, easy access to Disney, grocery stores, shopping.

We loved the convenience of the restaurants, stores and groceries in walking distance to the resort.

One of the times , I had a cart full of groceries.

Plenty of stores are very near (grocery, drug, food).

This place was in a great location in terms of proximity to groceries, shopping, restaurants and amusement parks.

But they do provide you with one laundry detergent pkt & dishwasher powder; & they still have free local phone calls.

At 2:30am, a service man responded to our call and came to our rescue to show us how to operate the TV.

Be sure to call a week before your reservation and ask for a pool or nature view in a newer building.

The original room was very run down and the telephone or the ac was working.

I tried calling the front desk to ask them

I guess when you have a guest complaining about services, the answer according to Vacation Village at Parkway is to not answre the phone rather than to resolve the problem.

Visitors will need to either walk or call the desk for a shuttle to travel between them.

Today, it took several hours and 3 phone calls to get laundry detergent to wash our clothes before we begin packing to keave tomorrow.

It was just a call away to get more blankets and towels.

Had to call 3 times to get a pool attendant so we could sign out the horse shoes and corn hole bags to play the outdoor games.

Before that it took 5 attempts to get someone on the phone for me to ask about the pool weather policy.

I tried to call the front desk several times.

So I called the front desk which took a damn min for them to answer the phone.

Has declined over the years takes several calls to get house keeping or maintenance to come.

The tub had a black ring around and the moved me to a room with a filthy shower

In fact, EVERYONE that we passed from housekeeping, was ALWAYS on the phone and had no time to greet you.

The employees at the front desk that answer the phone (when they do) are not very friendly I needed to stay an extra night and the manager on june 10th made it for R$179, for that price i decided to move to a 4 star hotel with wonderful pool and better employees.

That call to RCI did get someone to clean the floor and a promise to do a full cleaning the next day.

After calling the next morning, someone came to clean the areas (which shouldn't have been necessary) and then we discovered we weren't eligible for housekeeping because we hadn't been there longer than 7 days,

Our towels had stains on them and had an odor so we had to do a complete towel swap.

Our room smelled like very dirty mop water, items in the washing machine, 1/2 toilets not cleaned after last use, slow to no response after speaking with front desk.

We had a 2 bedroom suite which essentially was two separate 1 bedroom suites …upon arrival the one suite smelled of old cigarettes and the other suite smelled of mold … the rooms definitely need an update … and don’t expect shampoo,conditioner or body wash … you get 2 mini bars of soap that is it !

The hot tub was gross, along with debris and dead bugs.

However the main unit smelled like old standing water and we couldn’t find the source.

Upon entering the building, all you smelled was lots of foods, and like a dirty mop water..

We smelled a neighbor smoking weed, cihildren running & screaming upstairs & downstairs from us.

Vacation village at parkway had 4 security guards kick me and my family out after a complaint about mold.

Don’t go … 
Smells marijuana all the time (7 days stay 7 days shrunk place).

The units were good with the exception of the floors being dirty and one of the A units and C units having an unknown odor in them.

Was disappointed when asked to help us resolve an issue with a smoker below us.

We called and asked for at least 2 boxes (in this heat, your clothes get stinky and sweaty when out all day in the heat).

Halway had trash and food boxes smelled like. Zoo

Had to pay $45 housekeeping fee and yet our room was GROSS when we got there.

There were fruit flies all over which was disgusting.

The patio table and chairs were filthy, looks to never been cleaned.

The smells on the sixth floor of build 20 were gross and none of the staff seemed to care.

It didn’t drain well, so that became more of an issue as the week progressed.

Very close to Disney and all other theme park.

Close to theme parks and quaint town of Celebration.

Easy access to main highways and restaurants and theme parks.

close to all theme parks and close to about every restaurant  you can think of.

Good location, very accessible to the theme parks and other florida cities to visit!

.What else can I say the major theme parks are just miles away.

The property is located close to the theme parks with shuttle services available at 7am (could have been a little later).

The resort has great pools and is very close to all of the theme parks which is a huge plus.

Vacation Village is convenient to dining, shopping, restaurants, and theme parks.

Rooms are very spacious, also located within a short drive to the theme parks and other entertainment.

It is convenient for all of the theme parks.

This resort is close to all the theme parks, shopping and restaurants.
