Especially, I think that the activity on the private beach is the biggest advantage of this hotel.

The location, size of the property and the number of water activities offered — these are the best features of this resort for me.

We got 4 4000¥ coupons for the Aquabelle (the mister said it usually costs 5000¥).

I have read reviews that the rooms and common areas could benefit from a refurbishment and whilst that is undoubtedly true, it is a resort on an island rich with history so we didn’t stay much in the room and it wasn’t so expensive anyway.

Floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean with no obstructions and a very large jacuzzi.

The pool facility and beach were perfect for the family.

When that is being said, we were very happy with our hotel room at 15th floor with jacuzzi on the balcony.

Pools were nice and had some nice slides etc for the kids.

This hotel has an excellent pool and a great view of the sea, and is wonderful for watching sun set.

Indoor swimming pool was available for use (although the outdoor ones were closed owing to winter) as also the fitness centre and spa.

We were staying somewhere else further up the island with a rather expensive late check-out charge, so decided to spend the day at Marriott before heading to the airport in the late afternoon.

We spent a lot of time trying to decide between here and the much more expensive Ritz Carlton and honestly, after going to the neighboring Ritz to check it out, if you aren't a golfer, I would go with the Marriott any day.

Prices weren't overly expensive and definitely worth it for the food selection and quality service.

It's almost 2 hours by airport limousine from the airport and while that's not expensive ¥2100, getting back to the airport at 6am to get a flight at 9am cost $200 because the airport limo bus doesn't run so early and there's no alternative

And if you are not up to paying 16000 yen (150 US dollars) for a cab to the Naha (one way) of course, which is ridiculously expensive.

But if you care what you get from how much you paid, choice somewhere.

Anyway, it would be petty to impose this token charge, given the high hotel room rate.

The rooms are cleaned very well and it is pretty much spotless, every time.

Out of the three 5 stars hotel that we stayed in Okinawa (Marriott Ona, Vessel Chatan and Hyatt Naha), their service was the most impeccable and their room size largest.
