AC units don't work, front desk had no clue on how to solve the problem and the rude manager didn't want to give me another room or a refund, on top of that I was over charged.

The A/C unit made a loud noise and wouldn't work all that well.

The carpet was drenched with water from a leaky AC.

A/C, heater, and internet were not working.

The AC unit in the room makes an AWFUL sound.

The heating system was NOT working in our room and while we understand it can take awhile to heat up.

We could not turn off the unit using the remote.

The only downside was the blue light on the a/c in the room.

Had a little trouble getting the A/C remote or unit to work,

My only complaint is the placement of the mini-split aircon directly on the sofa in my room.

However, the AC is a system I have never seen before and no matter how hard we tried to adjust the system according to the directions, we were still freezing to the point that I had a headache both nights -- the boys in the family loved it.

The main issue I had was trying to figure out the remote control for the L/G A/C.

The air con (LG wall one rather than under the window) was one of the quietest we have ever had in a hotel room.

The only complaint I have is the bright blue light from the heater/AC wall unit.

But I was warm and not in a snowbank on the side of the highway freezing to death so I forgive them!

A couple of minor issues; no exhaust fan in the bathroom, or rather, no way of turning it on, so the bathroom got very steamy during showers, we couldn't leave the bathroom door open as it would swing shut, I don't know if that was by design or maybe a gravity effect on a heavy door, finally I shoved my sandal under the door, and that kept it open.

but the ac only seemed to work over the couch area.

Have to mention 2 especially front desk afternoons, Iesha and Adela, the lady who was in charge of the full breakfast.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations—friendly personnel, cleanliness, and a breakfast with so many hot and cold selections and individual fresh fruit cups.

I had always been a customer at Holiday Inn Express until a horrible stay in Wichita KS, I then decided to give Best Western a try and found the service was much better, rooms were superb and the beds very comfortable.

It is not the Motels fault that there are guest that   think they have to let the doors to their rooms slam  .

You have to go to the front desk to exchange towles and leave trash out side your door.

One of the most annoying things was the bathroom door that automatically closed, which was a bit ironic since the door to the room didn't.

They said our DO NOT DISTURB SIGN was on the door,

but door to restroom closes automatically on a spring, making it difficult for mobility.

The hotel is around three years old and has special locks on the door to avoid unwanted entry.

In the morning we found a note under the door explaining the situation and giving helpful information.

Did not hear any doors or noise from hall or other rooms.

However, hallway doors slammed all night and people were loud.

He said "Never" and I left to him yelling at me as I walked out the door.

There is laminate flooring near the door and this extends into the bathroom.

The Staff were very friendly and very welcoming I really enjoyed my stay there I would recommend this hotel to anyone Family and Friends.

I am unfamiliar with the area so I needed help.

Quiet area of town, if you proceed past the hotel you enter the endless flat land of oil wells.

I also like the fact that the hotel is very close to some of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Great place to stay in the Odessa Midland area

We got snowed in that night and it was nice too have such a nice place to hang out down in the lobby area with plenty of sitting, their restaurant and bar and the breakfast is excellent.

Location is great for visiting family in the Midland/Odessa area, not to far from airport and fairly easy to get to hotel.

The lobby, outdoor area and pool were all very nice.

The lobby and general public areas are well maintained and the fitness center has the necessary equipment to get a good workout in.

but nothing terrible), sheets always fresh, layout is nice, lobby area and bar are really nice and the cookies they serve in the afternoon are yummy!

Would stay there at future visit to the area.

I have stayed at this hotel on several trips to the Odessa area.

I have stayed here in all my business trips to the Odessa-Midland area.

All in all, this was the best, most successful, event we had ever held in our 10 years of coming to the Odessa/Midland area and I attribute the majority of the success to this wonderful hotel and staff!

They have a bar near the front desk check-in area with many selections of beer, wine and spirits as well as snacks.

I would definitely advise people to stay at this hotel, since it's conveniently located around restaurants and shopping areas.

I would recommend the hotel over all and would stay here again if visiting the area.

I think my only criticism is that breakfast is not included with room charge.

Room cleanliness was very poor, aged furniture, no UBC ports for charging tech gear or phone in room, no clock.

My only complaint was they told me breakfast the next morning was 6-10 so we had a few bowls of cereal and coffee and there was an unexpected charge for 2 Continental breakfasts @ 12.88.

If you are going to charge the ridiculous room rates maybe don't charge extra for a breakfast that takes half an hour to deliver.

My wife was Hilton silver and they charged us for our two bottles of water.

but the last time I stayed I was charged about $19 for asking 5 scramble (white eggs) and a couple of fried eggs.

Breakfast is not worth the $11.00 they charge you.

My plans did change and after notifying the hotel in early afternoon that the room would be available after being told that the hotel was overbooked, was still charged for 2 nights--could have been more flexible under the circumstances

With all of the activity in the Odessa TX region all of the hotels are charging a premium rate so that is my only complaint.

but they need to be cautious of the prices they are charging.

I paid for my 2 night stay and then I was charged an extra $100.00 for a "no show".

I don’t understand why the mechanism on those doors are not adjusted to close without slamming.

but by this time we were all dressed, had breakfast and were out the door and on our way for a long road trip.

There were some hiccups like batteries missing from my remote and my door was difficult to shut at times,

.. is firstly a very noisy hotel, sure something could be done about the noise bleed through door spaces ?

Only bad part was while I was out of my room, the maid came in and left the door open and unlocked.

Only constructive criticism is that we had a hammer head sized hole in the bathroom door (not all the way through both skins) and some rust around the shower hand hold bar.

There were oil workers in and out of the building all night slamming doors and yelling in the hall ways.

however, I upon check in I was given a key that would not open the door.

The doors closing was loud and it was somewhat loud throughout the hotel.

Door closures NEED to be adjusted, as door were "slamming" all  night.

Hotel offered a good breakfast menu and a decent beverage selection for the evening.

There are lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as places to shop.

I stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn in Odessa early this month during my business trip and it was really a pleasant stay, great front desk service, clean room, good breakfast, and more important - great locations, close to the Midland airport and a dozen restaurants and buffets.

Food is good and they have a great chef that will cook special orders if needed.

Room service was quick and food was tasty.

Aside from the issue with room 349, I enjoyed my stay at this Hilton property.

Really nice room with comfortable bed and small fridge.

Spacious and inviting with a chair and ottoman in the room.

I even encounter an issue and the front counter agent went above and beyond to accommodate me in another room promptly.

I did appreciate the large TV in the room.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable after a long drive.

My bed is clean and comfortable the room is mostly quite clean with the exception of a dried splash mark on the bathroom counter when I arrived.

but it was well maintained, room was very clean.
