AC units don't work, front desk had no clue on how to solve the problem and the rude manager didn't want to give me another room or a refund, on top of that I was over charged.

The A/C unit made a loud noise and wouldn't work all that well.

The carpet was drenched with water from a leaky AC.

A/C, heater, and internet were not working.

The AC unit in the room makes an AWFUL sound.

The heating system was NOT working in our room and while we understand it can take awhile to heat up.

We could not turn off the unit using the remote.

The only downside was the blue light on the a/c in the room.

Had a little trouble getting the A/C remote or unit to work,

My only complaint is the placement of the mini-split aircon directly on the sofa in my room.

However, the AC is a system I have never seen before and no matter how hard we tried to adjust the system according to the directions, we were still freezing to the point that I had a headache both nights -- the boys in the family loved it.

The main issue I had was trying to figure out the remote control for the L/G A/C.

The air con (LG wall one rather than under the window) was one of the quietest we have ever had in a hotel room.

The only complaint I have is the bright blue light from the heater/AC wall unit.

But I was warm and not in a snowbank on the side of the highway freezing to death so I forgive them!

A couple of minor issues; no exhaust fan in the bathroom, or rather, no way of turning it on, so the bathroom got very steamy during showers, we couldn't leave the bathroom door open as it would swing shut, I don't know if that was by design or maybe a gravity effect on a heavy door, finally I shoved my sandal under the door, and that kept it open.

but the ac only seemed to work over the couch area.

Have to mention 2 especially front desk afternoons, Iesha and Adela, the lady who was in charge of the full breakfast.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations—friendly personnel, cleanliness, and a breakfast with so many hot and cold selections and individual fresh fruit cups.

I had always been a customer at Holiday Inn Express until a horrible stay in Wichita KS, I then decided to give Best Western a try and found the service was much better, rooms were superb and the beds very comfortable.

It is not the Motels fault that there are guest that   think they have to let the doors to their rooms slam  .

You have to go to the front desk to exchange towles and leave trash out side your door.

One of the most annoying things was the bathroom door that automatically closed, which was a bit ironic since the door to the room didn't.

They said our DO NOT DISTURB SIGN was on the door,

but door to restroom closes automatically on a spring, making it difficult for mobility.

The hotel is around three years old and has special locks on the door to avoid unwanted entry.

In the morning we found a note under the door explaining the situation and giving helpful information.

Did not hear any doors or noise from hall or other rooms.

However, hallway doors slammed all night and people were loud.

He said "Never" and I left to him yelling at me as I walked out the door.

There is laminate flooring near the door and this extends into the bathroom.

The Staff were very friendly and very welcoming I really enjoyed my stay there I would recommend this hotel to anyone Family and Friends.

The staff are so friendly they make you feel like you are family.

The breakfast was also T rash like the rash the bed bugs gave me.

From reservation process to check in to quality of the room, the experience was exactly what I would expect from a Hampton - expert front desk personnel (Reuben in particular he was amazing and VERY helpful), clean and comfortable room, good breakfast available.

Breakfast selection was pretty good, eggs, bacon, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, toast and jelly.

I’ve also got to give a grateful thanks to Candy who took great care of us during the morning breakfast.

Very quiet, clean, and the complementary breakfast had plenty of variety to fit anyone's diet.

My stay was less than 5 hours long and no kind of credit was offered for another stay no refund .

but they never said that until after I was charged for them.

The hotel couldn’t explain why and agreed it was excessive and beyond their normal incidentals charge.

To be charged $419.00 for a room and it is not up to par is ridiculous!

We ended up staying in Lubbock on Wednesday evening to avoid the triple charge.

but the desk receptionist took charge, located my address and.

When I got home I noticed three mores charges from them that totaled $1144.56.

Ask about upfront debit/credit charges to your bill since they put a "hold" in the amount of $500 on your account.

Three days after we left, I noticed a charge for the full reservation on my amex card, the same card which I had prepaid with.

They charged me $1,029 a week later after I satisfied the bill and all they could say was it was a system glitch.

If you don't cancel 24 hours in advance they will charge you for the room anyway.

Complimentary breakfast in the morning has a waffle station, dry cereal bar, juices, coffee and rotating features of scrambled eggs and sausage (day one) followed by bagel toppers and bacon (day two).

Everything was excellent except the complimentary breakfast.

The price point is exremely competive - especially given it's free breakfast and central location.

I don't expect great for a free breakfast

The hotel is located across the street from UT Permian Basin, which was quite convenient as we were attending a graduation.

As a woman traveling alone on business, I felt safe and comfortable at this location.

It's conveniently located for me as my son and his family live just around the corner.

The Hampton breakfasts are the same in pretty much every location.

Perfect location to the event that I was attending in Midland.

The hotel was alright, the woman that checked me in took personal phone calls while she was trying to help me.

I grew upset and offended at this point and explained to her that she didn’t see us come from the elevators because she was in the back eating and talking on her cell phone.

Rooms were not clean, phone did not work.

The Internet connection (complimentary and premium) was awful, and I had to resort to my cell phone's mobile hotspot.

when i went to plug my phone charger, there was a sock between the matress n headboard, also when looking for MY shoe under the bed, there was a bottle cap.

The AC unit was stuck on cold and got the room to 54 degrees and took numerous visits and call to the front desk to finally get this resolved 18 hours after my first complaint.

The hotel will now not even answer our phone calls to get this resolved.

They do not always man or answer their front desk phone because they know they are full and have nothing to offer, so you cannot get through to cancel a reservation.

I would have appreciated a phone call earlier than a 2 hours prior to check-in (considering rooms are hard to find in the area).

I wouldn’t give this Hampton inn even a half star very rude staff and pay for a room that isn’t even used.

We stayed in room 301 and had to switch rooms at 2am.

This hotel is an older model appeared to have been years since it was remodeled so lots of wear and tear from the rooms to the hallway.

But after a little search Ruben was able to get us to a bigger room and our visit was wonderful.

Upon arrival, Reuben was so kind and helpful plus he made an extra effort to have my room ready a little earlier than normal check in.

but La Wanda and Ty worked the rooms so that we didn’t have to move.

I have a 1 year old child, within 2 minutes of arriving in the room my child had found a penny & a dime somewhere on the floor of room 225 & had both in his mouth.

The room was wonderful; the bed comfortable.

Check in was excellent, since I already chosen my room #107!

Will take a clean room with good pillows as a blessing, even if the mattress is a little hard.

She said all the snacks and drinks in the room were complimentary.

As usual met the criteria for a fine Hampton, even good lighting in room except no night light.

I opened the fridge a couple hours after check-in to put my child’s milk in it & was met with one of the most horrendous smells of my life… expired dairy products.I would think of all the things expected if housekeeping checking the fridge would rank fairly high towards the top.

There was an odor in the room like it may have previously been a smoking room -

We did notice that the water from the shower head and faucet had a sulfur smell,

Rest room sink water stinks and doing painting while there!

Decided to to keep one room for one night before we moved on and it smelled so bad we refused to stay.

The last room they had was a smoking room

There was a moron guest that thought it was okay to smoke in a non-smoking hotel and he/she really stunk up the joint.

It smelled AWFUL and it was our only option.

It might be better if they had a smoking floor.

The only thing is that the hallways had a bad odor.

NO breakfast Buffett,  NO 100% guarantee,  NO TV, rooms smell stale manager does not address issues with guests/members.
