If you are going for a nice hotel for a good budget, going with Royal Pavilion would not be a bad choice.

If you are on a budget you can book here as it is very  comfortable.

There are so many eating places in Hua Hin and very cheap.

The buffet breakfast is well worth having as they have a big selection of dishes to choose from and for what you get to eat it is very cheap.

A regular free shuttle is available to several spots around, taxis or tuk tuks are cheap anyway.

I booked in a valuable and affordable price.

It's a decent hotel to chose for those on a budget.

I never expect such of the inexpensive room rate are included good buffet breakfast.

I would recommend this hotel, a very nice place to spend a few days, cheap as well, booked through agoda for about 1500 bahts a night.

but its good for a short stay and it is affordable (if you can find good rate).

The arrangement on the bus layout is 2 seats on right, separated by an aisle and 1 seat on the left.

The Hotel have free shuttle bus go to Pleanwan,Cicada Market,Train station,Beach.

Most other thing that you need are within walking distance e.g the bank ,24 hour shop and laundry
Transport is easy in the area with the green songthaew bus leaving from near the night market until 9pm and plenty of tuc tucs as well.

but the hotel provides a free shuttle bus.

Can reach most places on foot and the taxis and baht buses are in close proximity.

but new and very clean, good location, not noisy from outside, nice rooftop restaurant, small swimming pool with good and clean towels, breakfast is good, shuttle bus to the beach and back (may be to other places, but we didn't use), open-air parking.

but there was no wall socket for the microwave and coffeemaker in the "kitchen" area, and the air conditioning blew in our faces at night.

but no electrical power points for the kettle so you have to plug it in on the floor beneath the TV.

but there is no place to plug in the electric kettle- so you need to put it on the floor.

There are several power outlets in the room for charging various electrical gadgets.

There is 2 small suggestions  1.Longer cord for the kettle to eliminate having to boil kettle on the ground    2.

For shaving my husband had to make hot water in the electric kettle (which had to be placed on the floor because the cord was too short).

but the kettle is not positioned anywhere near a electric socket.

but no electrical outlet, so had to bring the hot water pot in the bathroom to plug in.

Almost all wall power socket in both rooms are either not working or having intermittent connections.

As mentioned in other reviews, the proximity of electricity sockets to furniture is an issue in as much as some bedside table lamps are for decoration only, and the kettle may have to be placed on the floor.

A few small oversights in the building stage, meant that the worktop area had no power socket,

The noise outside the room from the inner hallways and above all I could here was people shouting moving things and banging.

Due to the tiled hallways, which looked like hospital floors, every noise echoed all the way along, whether it was guests talking, doors closing or footsteps.

The hallway has tile floors and walls that amplify and echo noise.

Also, the corridors were not lit up from morning till evening (they only switch on from evening till the next morning).

They talking, talking and talking loud endlessly and it echoed throughout the corridor and all around.

Only two minor problems were that the hotel only has one lift, which meant waiting a while sometimes, and the fact that the cleaning ladies were fairly noisy from about 8-9am, and the sound insulation from the room to the corridor is not good.

Family with baby was staying next door, and could hear him/her crying from the hallway when passing by the room,

though as I heard the teenage group's noise along the hallway.

Despite our high floor, the water was sufficiently hot and pressurised to take a bath.

Stayed in this hotel, everything is perfect in each aspects except for the instant water heater that is in my suite is not really working well, very low flow rate of hot water and the fruit flies staying only on the fruits on every breakfast buffet meal.

From there you can imagine how abysmal the hot food offerings were.

And the one of them with a bathtub did not have hot water.

(including instantly hot water for the shower).

Plastic flower arrangements, bed linen was patched, shower leaked to extent that little water came out of shower rose, no hot water at basin, bed was like sleeping on floor boards.

but again it's hard to skip the details that makes you feel bad like the fake blue leather couch, the tiny balcony with 2 AC motors blowing hot air on your face) bathroom - the pictures speaks for themselves.

Shower had a weird tap connected to the hot water system.

Room ok , hot water not functioning in bathroom- shower not draining.

The water heater is old school, it's either freezing cold or steaming hot, there's almost no middle ground.

No laundry, breakfast is "nice try", pool is a joke, fake leather soffas, broken sheets,  sheets were not changed during our four night stay etc, hot or cold shower available.

A refund cannot be given since I still technically can shower and apparently hot showers is not a guarantee by the hotel!

The shower had hot water and there was air conditioners in both rooms.

After we argued for quite sometimes, they only give us hot water with very unwillingness attitude.

Very nice, bright and spotlessly clean room.

Great front desk service, ultra clean rooms, with a good location to everything you'd want to see in the downtown tourist area.

The hotel room is clean with comfortable beds.

Besides the above the rooms are clean, spacious and offer excellent value.

The rooms are clean, the bathroom is well maintained (but the shower had no water pressure) and the beds are comfy.

Our room was very clean and tidy and we had views over looking the mountains on the 8th floor.

Rooms are clean and well equipped with all needed.

The suite was spacious and we love the space and cleanliness of the room.

Room was immaculate and cleaning was perfect  The reception staff (Nine) and her staff were always  attentive and helpful.

The room is also very clean, aircon is cooling, definitely need it as it is very hot.

The only downfall was that there was no English speaking channels on the TV.

The deluxe room is small with a small balcony, poor channels in English -  cspan, DW, Rt and hbo showing The Right Stuff.

Their cable machine was spoilt, so don't hope to use that.

They mounted the TV across from the bed and it was not possible to turn it.

Wide range of cable tv channels, mainly Thai (only 3 english channels ie RT News, NHK World and Lotus Macau). 12.

However to channel for international show were limited so do consider thus if u wanna return back to hotel early.

Television mainly only Asian.Swimming pool in car park not very accessible.

Located too far from Beach, mold and mildew in bathroom, 80 channels on TV, nothing worth watching in English unless U like the news.

But it's not perfect, the TV is located in the lounge and there's no TV in the bedroom so we couldn't go to sleep immediately after watching TV.

Only downside from our point of view, was the very few English speaking TV stations.

The tv channels weren't the best with only a few English options.

haha  The lounging sofa allowed her to sleep extra cause of my snoring and I could watch TV or catch a nap out there without bothering anyone in the bedroom.

but the kettle sat easily on the small dining table without any issues, and the bedside table light cable was not long enough, meaning that the lamp was only useable by getting out of bed.

- TV has limited English stations, most of them are news or factual programmes 
- The gym is functional

Hua Hin Night Market and Cicada night market is a MUST to visit.

Will still stay here again on our next visit as it is very good value

Hua Hin is a must visit when coming to Thailand.

It is the staff that make this visit worthwhile.

Royal Pavilion
We decided to visit Hua Hin to get away from the stereotype beach resort.

The Royal Pavillion hotel my second visit to hua hin my first visit to this hotel ,this hotel was fine for me ,very clean ,hotel staff very polite,breakfast bar very good

The hotel did, upon request, help us book tours around Hua Hin and also have a shuttle bus service to the things worth visiting.

Visited Hua Hin from Bangkok with a 3 hours drive.

Although 10 minutes walk from the beach the hotel iswell located as it is very close to the night market which is a "must do" when visiting Hua Hin.

For ppl who don like heat, choose yr end or beginning of the yr to visit thailand.

Breakfast buffet very good,good selection and very good staff.If we ever visit Hua Hin in the future we will stay at Royal Pavilion.

Check Out is fast also, they also asking about my stay experience, this make me feel i will come back to stay at this hotel if i visit Hua Hin next time.

The prices are extremely good and certainly well worth a visit.

- Visit the market village mall for legit brands I.e.

I ate at the expensive restaurant at the Reception area to get the quality of meat I prefer

The prices for food are outrageous if you consider the quality.

Secondly the price of drinks is extortionate and they do not put full price on menu

Apart from the crazy prices for eating and drinking in the hotel, and I mean crazy, I cannot fault this hotel.

Food was poor, cold pizza and pasta and a price of 300 Bart would be too much.

The restaurant was expensive - Thailand generally is more expensive now for us Brits and we didn't get change from £40 and I eat very bascially ( vegan).

Prices in restaurants and wellness are too high.

However restaurants for dinner expensive for food and drink by Thai standards.

Only draw back would be the pricing of food and beverages.

Beautiful resort located in the middle of large green nature with plants and trees

The courteous staff, the clean rooms with aromatic aromas, the greatest breakfast in Hua Hin, and the peaceful beach haven't changed.

We stayed at the Anantara Hua Hin for ten nights as a family of four we had two deluxe garden view rooms which we’re both kept immaculate by the housekeeping department.

We got the sea view room which can access to beach.The room is clean and all the staff was very helpful during stay.

I stay at the hotel for 3 days 2 nights with 4 years old daughter and my mom, everything was cozy comfy and perfect, the room very clean, the service was excellent.

However, my suite was beautiful, the room was clean and my sleep was lovely.

Hua hin is my favorites towns which is always on my top 3 list and Anantara Hua Hin is always my first place which is I choosing to stay we went there on November 2020 for celebrate family's birthday upon check in warm welcome by Khun Vito he  actively service  and excellent and a breakfast very delicious and verities asloDinner at Saithong restaurants by Khun Gif , Room was clean and tidy up to Anantara Standard , till check out with Khun Cin she very helpful as well , overall our stay was excellent we can't waiting to back visit for next trip ..thumbs up 👍🏻Anantara.

Anantara HuaHin is the one that make me feel relax with the nice service from staffs and the clean room.

The room was kept very clean and was a good size for two.

Needless to say, the rooms are immaculately clean and very comfortable.

From the well kept and clean room to the swimming pool and to the breakfast area I have no faults.

Booked king-size bed ended up with 2 single beds pushed together very uncomfortable after alot of discussion they moved me next door
The room had only hot water no cold
To take bath had to run it and leave it too cool for 30 minutes fed up of complaining to no avail.

For example, we were awoken at about 4am by someone banging and kicking the door of the room next to us, and yelling loudly in the hall.

The bath and toilet is seperated by a glass panel without a door closure so the water will splashed to the outside floor area.

but once room balcony door closed, could hardly hear it.

but with doors closed and airconditioner running we weren't bothered by it.

I advice to close the room doors and not to sit outside the room after the sunset.

Recovering from surgery I did need to sleep a lot during the day sometimes and did receive letters under my door on two occasions when the Do Not Disturb was activated, as cleaners couldn't get in to clean.

We would certainly stay again as the added bonus is that the hotel is situated directly across from market village which is very convenient.

Across the street from the hotel was a large complex called the village market.

This is a very nice hotel in very good location.5 minutes walk to the beach and few minutes to Market village shopping mall.The hotel is less then 10 minutes from city centre by car.The rooms are spacious and spotless clean.House keeping was excellent.The best thing about this hotel was the staff.They were amazing.So friendly and helpful.They did everything possible for me.All the staff were great

This hotel is located on main road of Huahin and quite close (by taxi) to a busy night market.

Fantastic hotel staff very helpful and great location market village across road plus Soi 94 is a up and coming area lots of nice restaurants and bars

The hotel is across the street from the Market Village shopping mall and on Petkasem Road.

Market Square is right across the street with tons of restaurant.

The location is central  with shopping center and night market within easy walking distance.

Very good hotel, beach is just behind the hotel, kiteboarding asia school is about 400 m, hua hin market village is opposite and hotel prices are reasonable.

We spent two nights at the D Varee hotel and the location was excellent, being almost across the road from the Village Market where you could buy most anything.

The Market Village Hua Hin is across the street & maybe 200 metres away, can see it from in front of the hotel.

Staff have good local knowledge which with the location 3 mins to powder sand soft beach or Market Village ,where cinema,foreign exchange ,very good rates on ground floor before food court.Second visit  and they remembered me ,will be back again.

It’s immediately across the road from the Market Village and a very good, outdoor Thai restaurant and walking distance to the Blu Port Mall.

We travelled with 2 kids and this hotel location is great for family as the Market Village, Tesco Lotus is just 5 minutes opposite the road.

Market Village community mall opposite adds some extra convenience.

Although the building is dated the rooms are clean and well maintained and of a good size.

The hotel rooms were very clean, tastefully furnished and very comfortable.

Part 3 we booked the D varee hua hin the hotel is quite central for ieverything rooms are very clean shower very good staff are very polite the breakfast is excellent you can sit in side are out there are 2 pools with sun loungers and large bath towels dressing gowns and slippers in your room .

The staff in the hotel was very helpful, the rooms were spotless and cleaned daily.

Room are clean and staff were incredibly helpful.

The rooms were immaculate and the cleaner left nice little towel animals everyday.

However, the room itself was spotless with a nice view of both pools.

Rooms are clean, good air-conditioning, good Wi-fi connection, enjoyable breakfast and the hotel, in general is well maintained.

The level of the service provide by this hotel is one of the best.staff are polite and helpful.

It's been 3 times I'm going to DVAREE hotel in hua Hin, and I'm always pleased and surprised by the quality of the service.

There's a free shuttle service to night market, thumbs up for that.

To the North are the man made theme parks such as Santorini Park and to the South is the national park of Phraya Nakhon
