Negative experiences: there were ants in our kitchen and very loud vantilator in the bathroom which we could not turn off and it was very loud espcially at night.

Cabin style, quarter circle showers, not big enough to even turn around in freely, without bumping your elbows and struggling to comfortably wash yourself.

Our small room didn't have a tub, just a cruise ship style shower in a smallish bathroom.

we stayed there for two nights, the next mornig there was no warm water in the shower.

Thereagain, paying your money for the suite at nearly the rack price and watching the bustours guests enjoying their cheap halfboard vacations at a sixth of your B&B price per day is slightly unnerving.

Positive points: accommodation was fine, the food was great especially dinner (we had breakfast and dinner), it was close to the beach.

The location is close to the beach ( not sure you can call it a beach, as the shore is all concreted),

However, our room was incredible, as was the buffet so we ended up spending the night with some drinks on the balcony overlooking the water.

but red wine is simply vinagar, soft drinks are water with some taste.

Rooms were ok and clean, staff great and very helpful and the breakfast average, nothing special.

Very loud to say the least and wedding guests were running around on our floor, making it impossible to sleep.

I was there as part of a press trip and had only planned to sleep and shower there.

but it was in February where even nature seems to sleep.

Nicely furnished rooms, very friendly staff, the food is great (we had breakfast and dinner).

Very good hotel with reasonable prices and extremely friendly staff.

The staff is so professional and friendly, everything is clean, the food is amazing and We felt spoiled in a good way.

It is first class, Personnel is excellent and kind.

Just a tip: if you are coming during summer bring a cooling fan since there is no air conditioning (hopefully there will be next year).

One very big let down was the lack of air con.

Taking the elevator was also torture in the heat conditions without any ventilation and lasting too long!

So another night without air conditioning,

We did not feel tha lack of air conditioning at all.

With the summer heat and no AC, it was not fun to spend 3 days in this place.

About 5 minute from private hotel beach ( deck chairs and parasol are aditionaly charged if you need it+ Access to the beach via cca 30 stairs).

The hotel is on the beach with quite few steps away which was not a problem.

After a long drive to Crikvenica and a tiring day on the beach and walking everywhere, we were exhausted and would have loved a good nights sleep,

Location excellent elevated and across road to beach and with fantastic views over to Krk Island.

The food was delicious and there was plenty to choose from.

Magnificent view during the day, nothing notable in the evening, there is not much to see at night.

I cannot describe the  wonderful view of the sea and island Krk,especially when I have stayed on the 6.th floor.

The terrace is so big and the view from it is super for having morning coffe.

This hotel was a brilliant pick for our getaway.

Price - we paid 189 eur per night and this place,

The moment you checked in it really feels your holiday has been set in motion.

There are 2 pool areas with very comfortable beds and lots of parasols and there is a beach area.

The hotel is a huge maze of corridors and gangways some are badly lit others dity and smelly.

Sausages are definitely the worst trash of "meat" with lot of garlic to mask the taste.

Its a family hotel with a beach full of sea urchins (Seeigel) and that says it all.

It is a modern hotel set in a number of blocks leading down to the sea about 35 minute walk from Malinska.

Hotel is located very close to beach, some 50 meters.

The location is very good, you just cross a road and you are on the beach, a sandy beach.

Trogir is beautiful lovely restaurant s all in easy reach lovely harbour fantastic boat trips and split is well worth a visit.

Having said that, I would stay here again as the location next to the beach in a quite area and the staff made for a pleasant visit.

Staying in a hotel in low season .The hotel is situated in a quiet location surrounded by greenery not far from the city center, 50 meters from the beach with their parking.

On the wall by my bed, where a repair had taken place, the paint job was a different colour.

This villa was the perfect location clean friendly​ and welcoming.

We had breakfast and dinner and it was very good!

For an extra 3 Euros each per meal we were able to have a decent evening and breakfast buffet which was excellent value.

The restaurant dinner and breakfast was only adequate.

but my suggestion is to add tea in relax area (there is only water).

but is still not properly 4 stars for me..specially the outsides and some areas of the hotel that gave me still the "comunist" feeling.

The outside pool area is in need of urgent refurbishment very run down,it seemed that non hotel guests were using it.

The outside area swimming pools need a lot of TIC rusty pipes loose tiles a d generally needs work doing  No comfortable outside sitting area at the hotel  Nice terrace by the bar area

The area leading to the pool is dirty and smells terribly.

although we only stopped one night so cannot comment on the local area.

hotel was renovated (rooms, lobby), some common areas haven't been renovated yet.

All things considered, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, there are many hotels in this price range with amazing staff in the area, wish I had gone to one of those instead of here.

While the behaviour of the guests is not hotel's fault, the staff is supposed to pay a bit more attention regarding what is happening in the wellness and keep some order.

Not suitable for Saga guests,as there are a lot of stairs.

but the truth is there are so few parking spaces, you will probably have to park elswhere.

We couldn't park in front of the hotel so driver drove in front of me to a nearby parking spot in a camp hotel group own, and they drive you when ever you need your car.

First of all-NO PARKING-only 1-2km from the peoperty, and I have a leg dissability-so I litterarlly had to force a parking for us-so they moved a hotel vehicle-dont get me wrong-they HAVE a small parking lot,

The hotel is easy to find, it has good parking facilities and is located almost on the beach.

The meals included were good and room was new and clean.

Just back from Hotel Katarina was a great stay.Near the beach and the bars just a short walk away.No complaints bout Katarina,very clean room clean towels everyday and toileteries aswell.Food was very good and varied.Would certainly stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and rooms were nicely decorated.

And if you want more details :
- the glasses of the balcony of the restaurant's terrace are broken
- the guy who cleans the courtyard makes so much noise at 7:30 AM, and launches his cigarette in the flowers
- the cleaning begins before 8AM in the bedrooms, and you just can hear the vacuum because the door of your room is very thin .

The main hotel and rooms are fine  Spa area fine BUT food like school dinners      canteen food  Buffet style not hot and not appealing.

Both of Us had 2 massage's and they were one of the best We had.

We received an upgrade to a superior room with balcony and sea view and it was beautiful.

I choose that hotel due to the sea front.

The hotel is great , our rooms were on the 8th floor , breathtaking views!

Hotel is on excellent location with a great view, recently renovated and rooms and bathrooms are very nice (5+ for the designer).

At the end, a honest place to go, answering to who sent bad reviews, you just get what you paid for, perhaps a bit more :)
A good place for families with children, not too expensive and close to the sea!

We booked a sea view room and got one that had a view of the grass roof.

The rooms are big, nice and comfy-great views-choose a superior wit sea view-higher ground!

And the view from the 7th floor is exceptional!

We had a spacious room, with the sea view and big balcony.

Hotel is newly renovated, rooms are airconditioned, gorgeous and spacious, most of them have beautiful seaside view

Two good things about it are position and view from balcony.

It's right on the water and if you have a sea side view, it's beautiful, even the other view is not bad.

If you want to have a nice seaview, Hotel Varazdin is probably a good choice !
