Can recommend the novotel, great location opposite the beach and central to most things.

Good points about the hotel:
• big room with a split-level sitting area (not suitable for those with mobility difficulties) 
• huge balcony to laze around and look out to the beach and the sea.

I liked the close proximity, easy walking distance to the beach front, Vincom plaza shopping mall and Rainbow Divers.

The hotel is in a great location, central to all the good restaurants and the beach area is great once you cross the busy road.

Second Stay , very satisfied, clean, Balkony with sea view, very good and tasty breakfast with Asian and Western choices

On our first trip to the nearby beach, the security man assisted us to get across 
The rule being just walk steady and traffic moves around you.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff  during check in and check out, upgrade room very quick, foods are ok, reasonable price with buffet, hotel on the beach it's very easy for you to swim and so many sea food restaurants around the hotel.

It’s totally worth it to stay at Novotel if you want to use the beach everyday.

Beach towels can be picked up from the concierge and chairs are first come, first served and it’s all free.

but the beach is directly across the street.

The staff at check in were great, the restaurant staff fabulous and we really appreciated the concierge walking across the road to the beach.

The location is fantastic, close to bars and restaurants, with their private part of the beach obviously across the street.

but they do have the option of beds across the road on the beach.

the beach across the street, Sailing Club is across the street and 3 blocks to the right, the mall is 3-4 blocks to the right, Large Night Bazaar is 3-blocks to the left, and unlimited local cuisine, spas, massages, convenient stores and practically everything else is within two blocks behind the hotel.

but with the beach across the road, no issue.

The beach is across the street, the local shops and places to eat everywhere around you, transportation everywhere, perfect place to stay!

The beach was just across the road  and the beach-side service was good too.

We also indulged in the spa treatments which just topped off our 4 days in Na Trang , I really recommend this Hotel if staying in Na trang it’s directly across the road from the beach and in such a central location to shops and restaurants, the room was very spacious ,well maintained and super clean with a basket of fruit and the little extra touches it made our stay very special

Just Recently spent four great nights here at Novotel, had a great time as this property is located beachfront on a fantastic oceanfront beach.

but the pool area looks okay although not big enough to do laps but the sea / beach was just a mere stone's throw away, anyways.

As a Platinum Accor member I was upgraded to a lovely suite with terrific beach views and a courtesy airport shuttle.

Rooms have a balcony and ours had a lovely view of the beach.

From the warm  greeting at reception, to the spaciious room with a balcony view over the beach,  relaxing spa, bountiful breakfast, extra-helpful concierge, well - what else is there to say.

Room was well prepared with an amazing view of the beach.

After an impressing welcome we are now enjoying a room on the 9th floor with view on the beach and part of the city.

The hotel is in a good location, facing the beach and sea.

The rooms are gorgeous (we stayed in a deluxe king) and have a fabulous view over the promenade, beach and sea from the balcony.

We stayed for 3 nights( wish we had more time) We has a room with a beautiful view of the beach, it was just lovely sitting in the balcony watching everyone doing their morning exercises.

We were very happy with our room which had an amazing view of the beach.

Rooms are lovely, my room had a balcony with a beach view, king size bed and sunken shower with great pressure.

Beautiful clean rooms, amazing view of the beach, tasty buffet breakfast with a wide variety of foods to choose from, nice private relaxing pool area, sectioned off area on beach with day beds, umbrellas and food & drink service, excellent day spa, and very friendly accommodating staff, especially Ann who went out of her way to make our stay at Novotel extra special, it was greatly appreciated!

We had a deluxe corner room, which was huge, with a balcony overlooking the beach.

I decided to stay here for a possible great view of the beach.

We had a lovely corner room with views of the beach and the city from our balcony.

• because of the street, the balcony can get pretty noisy with traffic.

however, should we return, I doubt we’ll select the Novotel, the beach was just far too cramped and noisy, we’d probably select one of the hotel’s competitors,  Intercontinental, Sheraton, (further up the beach, and much more quieter) 
It’s a shame the beach environment directly opposite the hotel; let the brand name Novotel down that said, it’s a “public” beach, thus, cramped and very noisy.

but it’s not the hotel, Nha Trang is a very noisy city these days.

Both went above and beyond to help when one of our bags did not arrive on the plane.

Only one thing have to mention that the building construction near the hotel is quite noisy especially in the morning.

During the first night we had some problems with noise coming form outside, some festival preparations, which wasn't any responsibility of the hotel, and quickly its front office manager and its GM Mr Remi Faubel apologised us and offered us an upgrade of the room.

-Beach - right in front of the hotel, couple of times even staff member helped to cross the street to get there)) the traffic is crazy in Vietnam.

My only complaint, you could hear the guest next door and some of the traffic noise, that aside a very comfortable stay.

It's a noisy hotel due to guests,  children running up and down corridors from about 6am,  doors slamming,  parents shrieking at each other in halls.

During a full body massage, the staff were listening to music in their headphones which I could hear and were on their phones.

You should be aware that the walk to the beach involves crossing a VERY busy road and you have to get used to walking out into the traffic, which then goes around you

but it's always in the shade & the noise from the road & the building sites on either side makes it almost unusable.

When u open the door its back to reality extrem traffic 24 hours and noise from construction.

TIP: try to get a room on a high floor as the streets are noisy.

but still could hear the traffic well more than I need to.

Once I arrived in Singapore I realised I left my expensive Bose noise cancelling headphone in my room.

and food and drink was reasonably priced.

• walking distance to food places and shopping malls.

We were there at the weekend so there were a lot of Vietnameses people in the restaurant

but ok. Close to shopping and seafood restaurants around, walking distance to Night market.

I had a wonderful stay  in a wonderful room to the seaside and got best service by friendly and experienced staff , be it at the lobby or in restaurant .

The evening was a perfect combination of great conversation and good food.

..nothing was ever too much trouble from the checking in, the restaurant, the day spa to the transfers desk.

Restaurant staffs are always kind and pay attention, fresh seafood.

Lieu at breakfast seeked for me on her own initiative to prepare food for me since I don't eat many foods.

To the staff in the “Square” Restaurant a big thanks for making specially prepared drinks to help improve Gary’s strength as he didn’t have much appetite.

We had breakfast included and that was fine, only had one evening meal in the hotel and that again was OK

Got upgraded to the Superior King Room with Ocean View which was truly a welcoming surprise!

The room is clean, friendly staffs and great location on Tran Phu Street.

The rooms were great with wonderful views of the ocean, very clean and well taken care of.

Rooms are fairly big and the rooms facing the ocean have a great view.

Rooms were spacious, well maintained and exactly the same as showed in the pictures posted by the property.

99.9% of employees we engaged with were very attentive; our room (superior) had excellent views and amenities.

(2) The pool area was a big disappointment  - a tiny little pool, a few chairs, no service to speak of, nobody came to put towels or to help us, not to mention there is next to no space.

Swimming pool is tiny, bleak and an after thought.

The pool is small for the size of the hotel and on the occasion we did go to use it there was no space available and it was full of children with their inflatables so we didn't bother.

Decent gym, pool was small and unfortunately noisy from neighboring building work going on at the time, something the hotel can't help.

but regardless of where I stay i will always use the spa at Novotel.

There is a lovely cool pool to relax and a spa.

There is a well equipped gym, an open air pool and a spa.

- Spa.. had massage twice there, was great.

Spa was great I had a reflexology foot massage which was great and very reasonable price.

At the Spa, we also took 1 Vietnamese massage of 70 minutes each and 1 package each (body scrub, massage and facial) of 2.5 hrs, great treatments done by two sweet and professional ladies!

We already used the Spa for a Vietnamese massage and that was so good that we booked a more extensive 150 minute treatment still to follow.

We really loved using the steam room in the spa area, and I enjoyed the smell of lemongrass in the women's steam room.

The hotel  is practically on the beach with reserved place for hotel guests (shade, beds, towels etc)  which is great

The hotel has a great view to the beach nearby.

Also a plus is that they have a tunnel leading to the beach.

There are a number of good seafood eating options close to the hotel and the ones on the beach are easy to get to via the tunnel.

They even have an underground tunnel from the hotel to the beach for a 2-5 minutes walk (depending on your speed).

The food at the restaurant is quite nice and the beach view is very decent.

Also a plus that they had a tunnel to the beach.

The Hotel was right in the middle of the waterfront strip and close to everything - food, shopping, beach.

Another con is if you aren’t Chinese you don’t get breakfast at the front with the beach views you get ushered into private rooms for breakfast with the view of the building site next door.

Location is very good, tunnel to the beach is nice add-on, hotel is clean and they even have true Finnish sauna (Sawo kiuas).

There's a separate passage to the beach and the skylight bar is close, so it's nice.

We booked three club suite rooms at the Havana in September and really enjoyed the views from the rooms especially the view of the Nha Trang bay from the bathroom!!!!

Hotel is right beside the beach and view is fantastic.

Quick access to the beautiful beach with great attendants.

My room faced the beach and was meticulously clean.

The beach staff were excellent and the breakfast personnel were also amazing.

I would certainly recommend the Havana Nha Trang Hotel to anyone wanting to stay on the beach in Nha Trang.

Beach was absolutely spotless and one of the nicest I’ve ever visited.

The room was bright and spacious with a spectacular view of the bay!

Our room, with a magnificent view of the beach and bay (from high-up) was impeccable.

but the buffet is exactly the same. Elevators.

It would sometimes take 15 minutes to get an elevator, and breakfast was like lining up for a zoo

The only negative which is a small one is, as the hotel is so big it has many guests which means during peak hour it's near impossible to get the lift.

The only real complaint my group had was how slow and crowded the elevators can be.

Since it is very popular among Chinese travelers, it is chaotic at elevator&  front desk, which make the customer service a little unorganized(but can you blame them?).

The only downfall was how long the lift took sometimes due to how many guests they had staying in peak time.

but it takes almost 5mins for us to get in the elevator to the restaurant as only one elevator is working on 27/9/18.

The lifts took at least 10mins in the morning to get one way as so many people getting in them, squashing and pushing me out of the way.

Only downside is noise from outside can be very loud and wakes you early, also full of tourists so waiting for the elevators can take time.

One morning we simply could not get into an elevator to get to breakfast on either level 2 or 3.

The breakfast area could get quite busy as well as the elevator lobby.

Cons:
- this is a really busy hotel and sometimes there’s a wait for the lifts.

Go early for breakfast as at 6am or after 8:30am if you would like to avoid the crowd and try not to use the elevator during the peak hours as I mentioned above.

These groups usually travel in group and they are super loud, even in restaurants and elevators.

even though they have 6 elevators, you gotta wait to get into the elevators and it gets crowded most of the time.

They spoke too loud and they made everything chaos at elevator, skylight bar, restaurants, .

A bit crowded with Chinese tourists and tour group during this period though, which made the lobby and common areas (including elevators in the morning) a bit noisy and overcrowded.

Also the lifts are a bit slow because of all the people

The only thing I would say they can maybe try and improve are the elevators.

The minus points of the stay are breakfast and elevators.

Hotel location is perfect, staffs were friendly

Great location /pool/breakfast/ Really can't fault this hotel.

The location is superb and the views are as good as promised, truly a beautiful setting.

Mr Son in the front desk is considerate and nice, shows every stuff and the locations of marts, views to us.

The Havana is conveniently located on main drag with private underground access to beach.

Location: the hotel is in the middle of Nha Trang center, short distance to many good restaurants in the area.
