The breakfast was beautiful and set us up for a day of walking and exploring places like Cragside House which is part of the National Trust and was a fab day out.

Breakfast was really good lovely scrambled eggs.

The cooked breakfast was so good, and the room was warm and cosy.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here, the room is lovely and very clean, we had a balcony overlooking fields with horse’s grazIng  in them, breakfast was delicious, the menu had been reduced due to Covid and we could not book in until 4 Due to Covid, it is a 15 minute walk to the town centre

Just on the outskirts of Seahouses, in North Sunderland, about 15 minutes from the centre, this is a comfortable place to stay, with a great bed, spacious room and modern bathroom.

The accommodation which is within easy walking distance from the town centre was very comfortable and beautifully furnished.There is an additional lounge with a snooker table,copious books and television for the use of guests.The bedroom was large and airy with views over the riding stables and fields.Room tastefully furnished.

We had several games of pool and enjoyed the comfy sofa for reading on a wet afternoon.

The room was immaculately clean and a lovely size with a very comfy big bed, a bathroom with a bath and a balcony looking out to the rear of the property with views overlooking fields and towards the sea.

I think we have now stayed in each of the rooms and all are very comfortable with big comfy beds, good bathrooms and lovely little touches like a home baked surprise on arrival.

The room was lovely with a balcony where you could see for miles ( most of the time) and watch the horses in the fields over a lovely G&T late in the afternoon.

Highly recommended place for a trip up the Northumberland coast.

It is about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the town and seafront.

Plenty of eating options in the village and beautiful beaches a stroll away.

The house is convenient for the town and the beach and is situated in a residential street, parking on the premises is limited

It was only a 15 minute stroll either to the beach , or into town .

Conveniently situated just off the coastal path and only a short walk to Seahouses for lunch provisions and evening meals.

The accommodation is about a 10 minute walk from the seafront in a nice residential area.

This part of the NE coast is Britain’s best kept secret.

There is off road parking and a short walk into town and the harbour.

Very quiet and pleasant location with easy stroll to beach or town.

Location-wise, it is just a short-walk to the centre of Seashouses and close to the beach, which is perfect for long walks with the dog.

Couldn’t have been a better location to explore the Northumberland coast, with Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Dunstanburgh and Alnwick all within 40mins.

Id say its about a 10 minute walk into the town centre and again the same distance to the beach.

The B and B is ideal for anyone looking to explore Seahouses and other villages along the coast.

We ( myself and 2 kids ) stayed at “the Olde School House” in Seahouses, in order to spend time on the Northumbria Coast -Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Seahouses were our favourite places so far.

The beaches in the area are outstanding and not to mention the odd stunning castles!

Can’t fault the accommodation, high standards very comfy beds, bathroom lovely very clean Bottled water and fresh bottled milk in a separate fridge if need be 
Joan our host made a wonderful breakfast and personal requests was no problem 
I’d definitely stay again and for longer if I could

The breakfast was delicious as usual and the only complaint I’ve got is as we were checking out the wonderful hostess Joan informed us that they have sold up and are moving on , will miss our yearly stay .

Had 2 nights this week, breakfast was lovely, Joan as usual was chatting to all the guests while cooking breakfasts.

Joan makes a cracking breakfast and offers plenty of extra tea/coffee and toast if you can manage it!

Breakfast is served alongside the kitchen with a TV Soap blaring out, making normal conversation difficult.

Had the family room again which was wonderful.

Joan and her family could not have been more welcoming and friendly.

As always nothing is too much bother and we were in the family room (5). Smashing!

This is a lovely place to stay, immaculate rooms, lovely hostess Joan & family.

Lovely B & B , Joan & Andrew are really friendly and make you feel part of the family.

After two days we felt like friends of the family.

The family room myself, my husband and my son shared was big and comfortable, en suite bathroom great and the whole place very clean.

The owner (Joan) and her family and her family are very friendly and we - along with our dog Pepe - are made most welcome.

A one-night stay for our family four in a spacious, comfortable, clean room with en-suite.

The breakfast was fantastic and felt really homely Joan and her family made us and our little dog very welcome would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

The rooms are well equipped with all that you need ,fresh milk and bottled water available on a fridge on the landing .

We booked the Longstone room with fabulous views of Bamburgh Castle, the beach and a distant Lindisfarne.

The beach walk to Bamburgh castle is truly outstanding, as is a boat trip to the Farne islands to see the seals and birds.

My room was spacious with a lovely view along the beach to Bamburgh Castle, with Inner Farne also visible and Holy Island in the distance.

We stayed in the Big Harcar which is at the top of the hotel, this offered great views over to Bamburgh Castle and the beach.

St Aiden Hotel is a two minutes walk from the main street in Seahouses, looking straight across the sea towards the Farne Islands, which (along with Bamburgh Castle) form part of the view.

Comfortable, spacious bedroom with all the facilities you need and great views across to the Farne Islands and along the coast to Bamburgh Castle.

We had a view of the beach and Bamburgh Castle from our large window.

We had a great welcome from Lisa to this lovely hotel, which has breath-taking views of Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands.

You can see the coast from Seahouses harbour along to Bamburgh castle and Holy Island in the distance.

Plenty of other seabirds to spot though.We also walked along the beach to Bamburgh Castle.

This is probably the best place to stay in Seahouses, location just a short walk from the harbour, rooms are a good size with great views, excellent breakfast and spotlessly clean.

Based on breakfast I would imagine that it would have been a great experience and we are thinking about a return trip next year.

The second night we were getting ready to go out and whilst I was washing my hair the shower ran cold and would not return hot.

4 Best describe the bathroom as snug you need to sit on the toilet at 45 degree angle or risk leaning on the hot towel rail.

Filled us up nicely for a cold day's walking.

The weather was unusually icy cold and raining.

We had seen that another reviewer had described our room as small (Little Scar)

One small disadvantage was that there was no room in the small bar to sit and enjoy a post dinner drink, so we took them to our friends' bedroom!

The ensuite shower room was also quite small,

Just to make it even more uncomfortable for the 2nd night.

Your safety is paramount and at no point did we feel uncomfortable.

We had a brilliant view of the Farne Islands and the location couldn’t be better.

but was clean, comfortable and had stunning views of the Farne Islands.

Excellent location on seafront overlooking the Farne Isles.

This hotel is located directly on the beach with magnificent views.

This is our 2nd year in a row visiting St. Aidan, and yet again we were met with the most wonderfully warm welcome, unmatched hospitality, and a bright, comfortable room with a gorgeous view of the North Sea.

We stayed in the annex with beautiful sea views; the sunrises and sunsets are hauntingly beautiful.

If you’re looking for superb views on to the Farne Islands, St Aidan’s is definitely one of the best places to stay in Seahouses.

Our room had an amazing view out on the beach and with sunsets that meant we never  shut the curtains once during our stay.

We stayed in the Megstone on the ground floor and had a lovely view of the Farne islands.

We stayed for 3 nights and from the moment we walked into the hotel the staff were brilliant.

We loved walking along the coastline and had a boat trip to see grey seals - fabulous 2 night break

We could walk into Seahouses in less than 5 minutes and it’s an easy walk up the incredible beach to Bamburgh.

The location is spot on being a short walk from the shops and restaurants and having great views of the sea.

Very good location for beach walks, nipping into town, or a boat trip from the harbour.

The hotel is in a excellent location 5 minutes walk into the centre of Seahouses.

This hotel has an excellent location just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre.

My husband and I have just had a fantastic 4 night stay at st aidens hotel, the location is perfect right on the beach and easy  walking into the village where there is plenty  of food choices.

The location of this hotel is perfect with fantastic views and a short walk from the harbour and pubs and restaurants in Seahouses.

Great views of the sea and only a short walk into Seahouses.

The hotel itself is only two minutes walk from Seahouses, Lewis's chippy was great as as was the steak night, Wednesday, at the The Links.

Parking was no problem and there is plenty to do in the area which is great for walking and visiting local attractions.

The bed is one of those lovely wooden beds with a low bit of wood at the bottom which I kept walking into . .

Farne Island b&b has its own off street parking and is within a few minutes walk to the town centre, restaurants and harbour.

The Saint Aidan Hotel is one of those places where you just feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door.

We were a 5 min walk into town and  harbour where you can arrange trips to the islands.
