The full included breakfast is a delight and many choices are available from cereals, pancakes, scrambled eggs, yogurts and fruit.

Good breakfast with hot dishes as well as pastries, cereal, yogurt and fruits.

They serve hot & delicious breakfast w/ fruits cold & hot cereal, bagels & breads.

There's a hot breakfast of eggs and meat and veggies and Belgian waffles and fruit and yogurt and breads etc.

Complimentary Breakfast: It was very good, and included: fresh fruit and yogurt bar, eggs (scrambled and parboiled), egg whites, sausage (some days they had turkey sausage), make your own waffle and oatmeal station with lots of options for them (chocolate chip, walnuts, blueberries, raisins, coconut flakes, etc.

Great hot cooked breakfast as well as fruit and healthy alternatives.

Breakfast place was nice as well with decent healthy options: omelet, eggs, cooked potatoes, french toast, granola, oatmeal, fruits, pancake station, cereals and fruit juices.

The included breakfast had everything from a quick yogurt and fruit to eggs and meats and oatmeal.

but I have a gluten allergy and I asked one of the staff in the breakfast area if they had any gluten free bread in the back.

First time to NYC, front desk was exceptional as well as the breakfast staff.

Full breakfast every morning included and the breakfast staff especially Carlos and Claudia were exceptional and a credit to the hotel.

The breakfast attendants, Claudia and Carlos, were quick to pick up dishes and all aspects of the breakfast were clean and plentiful.

The main reason why I am writing this review is to comment on the excellent service that was provided by the morning breakfast staff in Carlos and Claudia.

The staff have been very friendly and are always eager to help :) 

Special shout-out to Claudia and Carlos (staff that help out during breakfast) - they always greet us with a smile early in the morning and are super attentive with their service.

Again, the breakfast staff Carlos and Claudia was the HIGHLIGHT of my stay.

Carlos and Claudia who are helping in the breakfast area are very nice and kind.

The hotel does have some minor downfalls, including too few elevators and construction noise,

I would have given the hotel 4* if they had been upfront about the construction.

Honking, construction noises, the din of people, the light pollution and the stinky smell that permeates the city, all contribute to make this city, a city that doesn't care if you sleep.

We stayed on the 6th floor and could hear construction at night

Second, when we opened the window, pilled up dust outside the window sill blew right in, and it always smelled like concrete or any sort of construction debris.

Ask for room 1504 as it gave a great view towards it, looking up, of course (hotel is only 17 stories high) and, as of this time of writing, construction on the empty lot in between this Marriott and the Chrysler Building hasn't yet started,

My only complain was the construction next door.

The hotel did not alert us to the construction

There was construction outside of our window that made sleeping in difficult

Keep in mind there is LOUD CONSTRUCTION outside.

I would add that they are doing construction on a near-by hotel so the rooms are noisy during the day.

As the work week began, we discovered very early Tuesday morning that an extremely loud construction project is going on next door.

Although the room looked out over a construction site (an empty plot of land in 47th Street), the whole week we were staying there was no actual construction being done.

In the morning was woken up by construction site next door.

Only downside was construction of new building at rear of hotel.

If you want less noise then don't stay in a room facing 48th street-  it is very loud most of the night with sounds of construction and trucks.

The elevator is too slow, mostly during breakfast and afternoon.

Elevators are limited and very, very slow.

And let’s just add that for all of this fun, I got to pay half a grand a night and they only had one elevator working.

Dirty linens were piled in front of the elevator and it took several days before those disappeared.

We were given a room near the elevator, back facing and with men working just outside our window and hacking would start at 9 AM!!

even though I called the hotel directly well before arriving to request a higher room away from the elevator.

Other than the stay not posting to my Marriott Rewards account yet (a bad trend with Marriott recently) and the long-ish wait for an elevator in the mornings, nothing to complain about

The second was the elevator which always smelled bad for some reason.

The only negative I can think of was the wait for elevators sometimes was a little longer than we would have liked.

One star is missing due to:
Smudges and fingerprints in the stainless elevator cabin, no Ethernet jack in the room for laptop I-net connectivity, the bottled water is filtered water not spring, no hotel information brochure/folder in the room -

One employee took 5 of us around the corner to use the service elevator!

There are two elevators, so despite the size of the hotel, you don't end up waiting forever to ride to your room.

My only small issue was that the elevators were a little slow so we ended up walking a few times.

When we arrived at our room, we were slightly apprehensive since it was right outside of the elevators

The elevators were overworked at checkout time too,

The oatmeal with toppings was delicious and appreciated by the entire family.

Back home now reflecting on my great stay with my family.

Staff were very attentive especially Claudia and Carlos who warmly took care of my family during breakfast.

it has variation on the buffet and includes a lot of options for all the family.

They made sure everyone was greeted with a smile and they always made sure that our family's needs were attended to.

It was really nice to have the space to visit with my family within the suite

Our family of 4 had a corner 2-room suite on the 4th floor, which was the perfect size for us.

I highly recommend this place fir family or solo trip

I would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The breakfast is beyond  expectations they  have  a variety of options available the whole family or business group to enjoy.

Family of four abd we stayed in rooms 710\910 with spereate bedroom and it was great.

Good experience—clean hotel and spacious room for a family of 4.

Claudia made our breakfast extra special by hooking me up with all of my gluten free breakfast treats and a to-go goodie bag.

Most exceptional were the wait staff at the free breakfast by the names of Carlos and Claudia.

We've been using Residence Inn hotels for years, and they have very convenient kitchenette and complimentary breakfasts.

Included breakfast is the best, Claudia and Carlos made us feel at home every morning, which was perfect to get each day going.

Room was clean and spacious and a special mention about the complimentary breakfast and Carlos for his super professional and friendly service!

Wanted to stay here based on size of rooms and free breakfast.

The complimentary breakfast was much better than the typical one in most hotels.

Breakfast is good with the usual fare (waffles, cereal, hot eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, etc.).

The hours are sufficient, and the selection is wonderful:  waffles, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage, omelets, cereal, hot coffee and tea, orange and apple juice, milk and fresh produce every day.

They also have a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, fruit & a waffle maker.

The breakfast is HUGE- waffles, bagels, roasts, muffins, sausage, eggs, egg whites, tortillas, chicken carnitas, etc.

I love the waffle maker and the topping bar.

Eggs, pancakes, sausage, cereals, yogurt, waffles, a very nice selection which included, upon our request, toasted GLUTEN FREE bagels, bread, an even blueberry muffins.

My kids enjoyed making waffles every morning before our trek around this huge city.

- The location was perfect
- it was very convenient to have a true small kitchen, a self service laundry service in the hotel
- the room cleaning was good
- the kids loved the breakfast, its waffles.

The buffet breakfast caters well to all tastes with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, waffles, etc., and a selection of hot food (the latter being slightly less appetising).

The breakfast which is complimentary is good, plenty of choice from some hot eggs/sausages to fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and waffles.

There is free breakfast, warm breakfast, included in the room rate, so your kids can have fresh waffles in the morning, or one of the cereals to choose from.

Breakfast was waffles, bread and cake, cereals fruit and 3 hot choices each day with juices and hot beverages,  good way to start a busy day.

However, there are many other things available like cereals, muffins, pastries, omelettes, bacon, fruit and yogurts.

There’s cereals and fruit salad, bagels and smoothies and juice along with toaster, plus the very popular waffle iron.

The breakfast was exactly what you find at other Hamptons:  waffles, a few hot breakfast items, fruit and cereal.

There are too few elevators, because going down from 7:30 to 9 in the morning you may have to wait for the elevator for 20-30 minutes.

Only 3 elevators for a hotel that holds that many people is not a good plan.

We got rooms on the second floor - so no wait for elevators!

Elevators are often full and took long to get up and down from our room.

As other reviews mentioned, breakfast area was busy every morning (we were there at 9am most days), and the elevator could get a little backlogged,

but I’m not sure how they could rectify - elevators are very busy every day because the hotel is busy, and hotel is starting to look a little dated because of decor.

In addition, you need a key for elevators, and the front door even in the afternoon at times.

Two elevators were not enough for the entire hotel.

Security is excellent as room keys must be used to enter the building, use the elevator, or enter the stairwell.

We were panting, and felt and looked hungry and exhausted, so Lizbeth from front desk promptly and gently gave us our keys to room 1105 while we helped ourselves to a cup of complimentary lemon water, and then we headed to the elevators, expecting them to take forever to go down

The roof-top elevator motors make a banging noise when the elevators start or stop moving.

Elevators (3), can some times be a little challenging.

Breakfast and elevators crowded (expected in a large city) -  close to Broadway Shows!

We exited the elevator on our floor and there was our room.

Elevators might take some time depending on the time of the day

However,
my 75 year old mother and I had to take the stairs from the 9th floor each morning as the elevators were so busy.

The only two downside of the hotel was the elevator because it took a little longer and the breakfast felt cramped, other than that everything else was perfect.

Both lifts were broken during our stay with staff manually operating one.

The free breakfast was good and plentiful!

There was complimentary breakfast provided.

My two favorite things are the free breakfast and the fact that they stored our bags for us after we checked out since we had a late flight.

Most importantly, first-class hotel service with complimentary breakfast, super clean rooms (cleaned daily), and friendly and professional staff from the front desk to the breakfast bar.

I love staying in hotels that provide me a adequate breakfast for free!

The complimentary breakfast was awesome and Fatima took great care of the food.

A few cons, the rooms are very small, walls are thin, and the roof top view is not worth your time.

Because the room is very small, there's really no privacy so keep that in mind if traveling with people you might not be totally comfortable with.

We have been to NYC a couple of times before, so we knew that the room would be small,

Rooms are small and clean and elevators are busy in rush hours (morning, night).

The only thing is that the rooms are small, so 3 big adults is the max for your comfort,

The 2 Queen size rooms are way better than the King size rooms that are way too small.

Given the pandemic restrictions you need to inform to the lobby if you want to have your room cleaned, I did that a couple times during my short stay and it worked all fine.

The lobby, not fancy is clean and inviting.

I appreciated the water, tea and coffee in the lobby.

Coffee and fresh water all day in the lobby, mineral water to take out and freshly baked cookies at tea time.

but they have free tea, coffee & hot chocolate in the lobby 24hrs and between 5pm - 8pm free cookies that are unreal - we couldn't wait to come by and take advantage of these before heading up to soak our feet.

good selection of breakfast items available and they have a coffee station thats available 24/7 in the lobby.

This set us up for the day and this plus the lobby drinks saved us a lot of $$.

Also every day they have a coffee bar in the lobby which you can help yourself to.

The rooms were great nice size free coffee and hot chocolate at all hours in the lobby as well as a coffee pot in the room.

The doormen were also fabulous, always making sure that if you were in a tour, they would come and get you in the lobby right away.

We love Hampton Inn’s, this hotel is in a great location, staff was friendly, clean rooms. Breakfast was wonderful, nice seating areas in the lobby to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city with a complimentary cup of coffee,hot chocolate, tea or water (& warm cookies at certain times!)

The lobby is welcoming and the staff is attentive.

Having all-day coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby was a great feature given how cold it was outside.

The hotel also provides coffee and water in the lobby 24 hours a day, as well as 3 computers for your use and a fitness room.

They offered free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby.

We also enjoyed having warm beverages available in the lobby.

but the complimentary coffee/tea/hot water station in the lobby was always amply stocked and free from litter.

The lobby was spacious and the included breakfast was very good.

24 hour coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby was nice to have and always better than coffee brewed in the room.

Stayed on the 8th floor and hardly heard any city noise considering I was super close to Times Square and Port Authority.

It WAS AMAZING TO MEET THE WORLD CITIZENS right there near TIMES SQUARE. ….

Joe's NY Pizza was around the corner, we right near Times Square, went to Broadway show, Crispy creme doughnuts, M & M store - all within waking distance!

Very close to Times Square, the subway and easy walking distance to the Park.

Next door to the Nederland Theatre and walking distance to Times Square & other theatres.

We had never stayed so close to Times Square and the Theater District and they helped us a lot with walking and subway directions.

Great location near Time square, great access to restaurants and public transportation, spectacular roof top, good daily breakfast, very clean hotel, modern facilities, elevators and great friendly staff.

It was the best and most convenient hotel if you want near times square.

Hotel was minutes from Times Square and close to restaurants and close to most current shows.

The noise level surrounding the hotel wasn’t intolerable, given the fact we were so close to Time Square.
