Always has Xiao Ping come to my room every morning and do a detailed clean.

Over the course of my multi-day stay at this large hotel, I met other guests attending weddings, religious conferences, and sports tournaments.

Xiao Ping always kept the room very clean and was very nice during my stay.

At the hotel you have everything you need and the housekeeping are so nice if you need anything especially Xiao Ping who has helped us in many ways.

The rooms were large for New York and were very clean.

Our stay at the Sheraton was great, ( clean and smelt good) The price was great, ( wish we stayed longer) The location was great, ( in the heart of downtown, all the stores and trains were a stone throw away) The staff was great ( they listen, very professional and friendly), and the bakery access from the lobby had new Yorks famous RAINBOW BAGEL!

Very quiet and the bed was huge very comfortable and the pillows were amazingly soft and fluffy.

My room was comfortable, the staff were pleasant, and the hotel is centrally located near subway stations, restaurants, and shopping.

This would have been at least a 4-star review if the manager hadn't cancelled my confirmed Suite Night reservation at the last minute, and if the front desk had told me about the downgrade before I swiped into the standard room they gave me.

Everything about this stay was terrible: from the noisy nextdoor dog park to the preset 6am room alarm clock to the dirty towels to the front desk staff Talia who called my room at 3:45 IN THE MORNING for a credit card issue!!!!

After a month of no answers, I have now lost over $300 from mysterious charges on my debit card by the Sheraton Brooklyn.

Hotel key cards work intermittently, which means they often did not work in the elevator and took several attempts for room access.

In the end, I paid the $20 (again, not able to charge to the room) and left.

Did not welcome me, just said "credit card" not even please.

Machines would not accept any of my cards.

A party of two had drinks here on one of the nights of our stay, at billing time we initially said to charge to the room and we would sign off on the check.

He would take a look at our room charges and "see what he could do" to compensate us for the mistakes.

The Banquet team needs a strong person in charge to ensure that everything is done and please handle the mildew in those two smaller rooms.

but we never smoked in the room, so they refunded the charge.

they charge you a deposit fee and you don't get it back ever if you keep calling for them about your deposit you will get 10 different reasons why you didn't receive your deposit.

And we've never been charged more than $40 for valet parking - which is onsite and only requires 10-15 min call-ahead.

Sheraton didn't charge extra for pets, so I booked with them.

but this time card system was broken down.

- the rooms aren't build for -12°C outside temperature, the cold just came in the room 
  all the time through the windows and floor (once in bed it didn't mater) 
- there's carpet everywhere so if you walk around on your socks you'll be statically 
 (electrically) charged all day !

but you can only leave once per 24 hour period, otherwise you are charged an additional $50.

On checking out the fund was not returned back to my card, I was told it will take 7 to 10 days to be credited back to my card.

-upon check out we paid and after some days we saw that the payment had been charged twice.

No big deal, this happens, so off to the front desk with the card and license in hand.

but renovated hotel in the heart of downtown Brooklyn.

Location for the hotel is terrific, right in Downtown Brooklyn.

Great location being right in the center of downtown Brooklyn.

Wonderful stay at Sheraton Downtown Brooklyn!

All of that being said, the staff at the Sheraton Downtown Brooklyn is consistently excellent, patient, and guest oriented.

I could easily stay here again if I am ever in downtown Brooklyn.

She gave us a great room with a wonderful view of downtown Brooklyn on a high floor!

It's location in downtown Brooklyn is ideal.The Subway is close by and the Brooklyn Bridge is only a short walk away.

This hotel, located in downtown Brooklyn, has very good acces for walking throgh Brooklyn Bridge and down town Brooklyn with no many people and convenient prices area.

This property is centrally located in the heart of downtown Brooklyn and minutes from the city.

Great Stopover, stay in downtown Brooklyn, very suitable by all the subways.

There is a great Century  21 store a block away and other standard retailers are located in downtown Brooklyn.

The elevators are slow and only two of the four are working.

The elevator key “to use it” system is turned off.

But what it made worse was the fact that the security feature on the elevators that required a room key to get to guest floors wasn't functioning.

The elevators can be a bit slow and crowded, so requesting a lower floor might reduce your wait times a bit.

I ended up walking up to the 17th floor in order to avoid a meeting because they weren’t sure when the elevators would resume service.

When it wasn't fine and remained stuck at 80 degrees, they moved me to a far worse room where I endured sleepless nights next to the loudest elevator I've ever heard.

I had a room near the elevator, and it was impossible to drown out the noise of the creaking elevator.

Not sure if sound came from heaters, elevators (our room was sandwiched between elevator banks) or outside after-hour construction.

but constant noise from elevators and generator or heating system.

The staff just watched as a I struggled to the elevator and again when I was leaving which I thought was odd for a hotel.

With our room right next to the elevator, it was loud and we heard it periodically through the night.

To make matters worse, the absolute ridiculous way of using the lift meant that should my parents want to come to my room or vice versa we had to walk the 3 floors because you room key will only allow you to reach the floor you are staying on.

the lifts were slow, and some of the hotel is looking tired.

I also think the elevators need to be cleaned more frequently as there were finger prints all over the doors and floor key pad which was yucky to see.

The elevator, hallways and rooms are in need of some updating.

but special mention to Arber for the excellent wit and service in the bar at the Italian restaurant  - would definitely come back on my nx visit to NYC

Italian restaurant inside was nice for happy hour, very nice employees.

The hotel has a Starbucks in reception which is handy for breakfast or a coffee, as well as an Italian restaurant - we didn’t try it.

Good Italian restaurant in house, along with Starbucks and access to next door's hotel roof restaurant.

The on premises Italian restaurant was very good.

Avere Ristorante is an Italian restaurant located in the lobby of the hotel.

We ordered room service from the Italian restaurant downstairs, and it was delicious.

Everyone was nice and the Italian restaurant had good food.

Recommend the Dekalb food court for a good variety of eats, Fortina (italian restaurant accessed from the food court) and Forno Rosso (also italian).

The place has a pool on the 2nd floor, a really nice Italian restaurant, a rooftop bar and is right in the centre of Brooklyn, so what more could you want?

Not too far from jfk, safe location, ok italian restaurant , starbucks in reception , had a car shuttle service which was great, rooms ok with complimentary water and coffee, for the price i have to say is a good choice , would definitely return.

The dinner dishes in the Italian restaurant were just like homemade from the old country. Delicious.

There was also a Starbucks and an Italian restaurant located just off of the lobby.

but it was an Italian restaurant and maybe the food was more reasonable and good for dinner.

WE enjoyed a nice Italian Dinner in the hotel restaurant which was reasonably priced and flavorful.

The hotel features an Italian restaurant, next door at Aloft there is a rooftop bar, and across the street is Brooklyn Brewhouse which was a really fun restaurant/bar.

But within a 10 minute walk you'll find great French bistro, Ramen, Vietnamese and Italian restaurants, all well worth the hike.

Lobby has a Starbucks and full service restaurant.

There is a Starbucks in the lobby, which makes getting up in the morning much easier and pleasant.

The rooms were cleaned exceptionally well, there is a Starbucks in the lobby, and the concierge were very accepting of our requests.

All of the staff we interacted with were very friendly and did I mention there is a starbucks in the lobby?!?

A group of 17 of us stayed at the Sheraton Brooklyn and found it to be exceptional with Friendly desk attendants, clean rooms in a great, safe location-located in the downtown area with shopping and restaurants handy and a Starbucks right inside the lobby.

There is a full Starbucks in the lobby, accessible form the lobby or the street, which is nice.

Gym was fine, location is within a few blocks of several subway lines, and the room was quiet.

When we came back to the hotel we were meet by Daykwon at the front desk who could not have been any less pleasant from the second we walked in the door.

though the room was small, the bed was so relaxing, fantastic view from our bedroom.

but the beds were really comfortable and we had great nights sleep despite being right on 5th Avenue.

but the bed is a great size, but it's cozy, and the bathroom is sublime.

The bed was really comfy, the shower excellent and right next door either side is a Starbucks and breakfast bar.

The second time I stayed we were upgraded to a bigger bed which was very nice.

For $143 + tax for 2 adults, queen bed in NYC near Empire State Bldg it was totally fine-- not luxurious

but the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate.

well, in fact, I adjusted to the size of the room fine, and realised the most important things are a superb comfortable bed, excellent shower facilities with great set of toiletries and free Starbuck fresh coffee machine for the morning and daily energy.

Clean and tidy and they can do your laundry on the same day.

The bathroom was equipped with a shower and a sink with enough space to spread out your toiletries, also very clean.

Location is obviously amazing, staff were mostly friendly and the rooms were clean and, space and bathroom aside, comfortable.

It is very clean and no nonsense and the people at the front desk are the kindest, most polite people I've ever had at any hotel stays.
