I had a smoking room (I'm a nonsmoker) because that was all they had available so that was an issue for me as stale smoke is difficult if not impossible to get rid of with just the daily mandatory cleaning.

My first impression was a dusty, dirty lobby with a very sour smell, almost like the urine smell in an old bus or subway station.

No other options were given so I walked back up to my room and blasted the AC, which only goes down to 65F (which I was convinced was not accurate as it was very hot in the room) to try to keep the smell at bay.

Priciline doesn't allow you to request non smoking (will never use them again - lesson learned).

And was never told both rooms would be smoking!

Arrived at the room to discover it was a smoking room, went back down and was told it was booked as a smoking room by the " manager" asked me to come to the other side of the desk to show me comments on a computer screen.

Person I was traveling with (diamond member) booked a non smoking room, only to be told there were none available.

But then they proceeded to inform us that they "gave them all out" earlier in the day. They best they could do was give us an option between three different smoking rooms so we could "pick the one that smelled the least."

The elevators reeked of cigarette smoke as well as the lobby as I guess the elevators funneled the cig smoke smell from floors 9 - 11 down to the lobby.

They have some difficulty honoring requests for non smoking rooms, especially if you have a prepaid accomodation,

The airport is very close and when you are outside the planes flying overhead are loud.

Its not really that close to the airport (2.5km), would look elsewhere if you also want to get your room quickly after arriving.

Excellent stay Staff in every part of the hotel was simply amazing if anyone is traveling to New Jersey And need a hotel near the airport THIS IS THE ONE !! !

However, it appears to be conveniently located near the airport and Bayonne, NJ(Cape Liberty).

In our room, there were places where the drywall had holes, around the vent, in the bathroom the tub was rusty and around the toilet was coming apart.

However, you may need a mirror up in the corner because your back is to the door when on treadmills that face the pool.

However, this hotel needs to update and correct some issues; for example, the bath was "two-toned" in that the enamel/ceramic was faded and worn out, the wi-fi.

It had broken floor tiles, dirty grout and the bath seal was all broken.

The room was old, there are holes on the duvet, the shower cannot be shut off.

The bathroom was consistent with a 2 star hotel, with tile that was in disrepair and in need of caulking.

First, the rooms are showing wear and do need some updating, especially the bathrooms where you can tell the tile has some water/mold issues and have been patched and re-sealed multiple times.

The room was disgusting, moldy vents above my shower, cracked tile everywhere in the bathroom, my shower rod was nailed, glued and cemented to the wall, lol.

Great value for money, free shuttle to airport.

Airport shuttle was convenient, runs on the hour and every half hour.

Upon arrival, the hotel was somewhat remote (reached via the complementary shuttle from the airport), and very quiet inside.

The positive aspect is that there's a 24 hr per day shuttle to the airport.

The return shuttle to the airport was on time.

The plus is that there is a free shuttle to the airport and the service was very quick at the front desk.

Free shuttle to the airport was all we needed though, worked out fine.

On a positive note the cafe onsite was reasonably priced, and the shuttle to the airport is free.

The worse experience at this hotel, hidden fees and the worse welcoming I do not recommend this place gave us a smoking room and we reserved a non smoking showered did not work and the smell was awful

Luckily we still had towels in the floor from the night before or it might have been an ugly mess in the bathroom floor.

The bathrooms were very dirty and the hotel smelled old and musty overall.

They also did not clean the room properly -see stains on shower curtain.

The window was rusty and the bathroom had hair strings left. Gross.

The room was dirty, the carpets unswept and the bath and toilet were substandard set in a odd shape.

Unfortunately after the toilet tank leak problem was fixed, a much worse problem occurred at late night.
