I had an amazing stay at the Standard for my 30th birthday.

I came here for my birthday and my check in alone made my whole experience worth it at the standard.

Wife birthday they up grade the room when we got there early check in view from room was fantastic.

She also sent a complimentary Rose to my room for my birthday !

Great location in Meatpacking District close to the High Line and Whitney Museum.

Excellent service, early check in  and late check out, no fee for pet, and perfectly located in Meatpacking District for anything you may need not to mention amazing views with floor to ceiling windows from just about any room.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the meatpacking district, with easy access to the Hudson River Parkway and tons of good food around.

If you’re ever in the meatpacking district make sure you stay there & meet him.

Highly recommend for the downtown NY experience of the Meatpacking district / West village vibe I’ve stayed at Standards in LA & FL & would return again.

Location is ideal, in Meatpacking district with Chelsea and West Village nearby, loads of food options blocks away, and is right by High Line Park and across Little Island (my new favorite park).

The location is also great if you're interested in taking a walk along the river or through the Meatpacking District, Chelsea, or West Village.

You will pay the same price in other hotels of manhattan and get a very poor experience, rude staff and a tiny room.

For the price of this hotel, I expected someone to slightly care since it was a matter of my health (something I do not have control over).

There are no slippers in the room (I just stayed at two comparable level hotels, in Boston and Amsterdam, that cost less

The room itself is dated and small, nothing special, especially for the prices you are asked to pay.

Rooms small and a bit pricey; had a nice view of the Hudson River and Little Island.

This hotel costs way too much money for this to be how business is conducted.

The room felt DIRTY and the whole experience was upstaged by the RIDICULOUS FEES.

The hotel does not offer much for the price.

I would never have booked this hotel at the rate they ended up charging me and I found it to be poor customer service that this was not mentioned when I made the change.

But considering an omelette alone cost $16 we ended up spending over $30 of our own money anyway with tip.

However, the designers were too busy being cool, and didn't pay attention to basics of the hotel business.

The subsequently offered to refund my resort fee of $30 and send up ear plugs as compensation.

If I paid a small amount, I wouldn't have minded these things.

I also thought with the price I paid, that I would have a higher room?

Not sure why they even have a mini bar in the rooms since it is ripe for a rip off.

The stay ended up costing us over $150 in additional fees and taxes that we were not planning on.

Cons:  Gym is really limited on equipment and kind of aged/cluttered, the shower/tub have full window facing the room so if you need privacy that would be a concern, Toilet paper and facial tissues really scratchy and cheap

Extras:  a glass of orange juice in the restaurant is $8 to give an idea of pricing, breakfast for 1 person was about $50 for omelet/oatmeal/juice.

The reason I would not stay here again is the $30 per night "facility fee" that is undisclosed when booking and gives access to exactly what you already have access to.

The final bill showed I had to pay $469, $120 more than I was quoted.

We finally had to track someone down to pay for our drinks & we left to find somewhere else to eat.

At night, if the window is open it is NOISY

Than the negatives which are quite a lot: they put us in a sub-par room (516), smaller than all other rooms in its class, with noisy water pipes making noises.

My friends who paid less than I ddi for the same type of room got a better room with snack and with a shower in addition to the bed while I used Hotel Engine and stil managed to pay more for the same room type and got no snacks.

Friday night we could hear the nightclub on the 18th floor.

though we were down on the 4th floor this club's music from somewhere 18th floor or higher was very loud and blasted until 3 AM.

There is a club at the rooftop and the music goes loud until late hours, being possible to hear loudly from the room.

Noise is disturbing every night and day (if there are children or loud people around)!

though it was right by the elevators, I was barely bothered by the noise or any neighboring sounds—impressive!

The noise during the night is only one of the aspects.

On the down side, walls are noticeably thin and you will hear your neighbors and anyone in the hallway.

but it doesn't quite make up for the fact that the rooms are worn out (we had a maintenance man come to our room twice to fix things), they are noisy (not just the street noise but the pipes in the rooms!

You can also hear the plumbing singing next door at random times.

cant make them dark enough and you hear everything, from the noise and music on the street to the water pipes of the next room to the conversation on the isle.

but the noise the toilet/pipes did when flushing the toilet was beyond reason, it would wake us up during the night.

When someone in another room was using the water, you could hear it in the room.

Only complaint would be with the great local nightlife comes a bit of noise from outside on the river side that doesn’t die down till 11-12.

Around 11:30 we started to hear incredibly loud music, loud enough that our bed was vibrating.

We were originally on floor 15 (3 floors below it) and could hear it clearly even with earplugs and white noise.

We spoke to a couple of other guests in passing, one being on the 5th floor and they could still hear it.

The bar’s happy hour was excellent Dana and Pepe Were attentive and deliciously  prepared our cocktails

Would stay again because of the location and amazing people at the desk, room service and housekeeping.

So much to do in one spot… restaurants, rooftop, great location.

Thanks to all chefs and servers that fostered a fantastic family dinner.

The first time, we had such a special experience that we vowed to return.

I had the absolute best experience at the Standard High Line.

Beautiful views, great use of the small floor plan in our room, well appointed minibar, mesmerizing elevator experience, and Stassie at the front desk was very kind and helpful!

I’ll definitely be coming back, can’t beat the hospitality!

A fantastic experience from start to finish.

For me, the quality of service can make or break a travel experience and the entire staff @ The Standard Highline was top notch!

From the front dest and wonderful Stasia, to the red bar on the ground floor and pleasant  staff to the fascinating corner room overlooking rainy Manhattan we had unforgettable experience!

though we only stayed one night, our experience was good enough to make it one of our best ever hotel stays.

I always enjoy my stay at the standard highline and I am consistently impressed by the hospitality.

The room had some issues with it, which I've never had on property, including the 9 foot bathroom door falling off the hinge and needing to call someone to come up at 11:30pm to fix so it didn't break the shower glass, almost no amenities ready in the room including robes and slippers vs. my previous stays, and the hotel phone in the room didn't work.

The shower head was so high up that it had to be tilted backwards so as not to spray over the glass door.

- The door to the balcony did not lock. Yikes.

We contacted reception to repair sliding door to balcony, bathroom faucet was loose, there was no room around the sink area to place our toiletry bags.

The doors to the toilet room wouldn’t latch shut and just roll open.

Our room had cracked bathroom floor tiles, non-working bedside lamps, bathroom pocket doors that would not close, and a terrace door with a non-working electronic lock.

It’s hard to get some rest when there is base from EDM booming, noise of people yelling, doors being slammed, etc.

In this room the balcony door was broken and you could not lock it.

The phone charger port on the wall did not work and the door to the room did not fully close.

Not long after settling in I heard knocks on a door from service.

Our suitcase would take up the quarter of the room between the bed and bathroom door.

The safe door had no handle so I was just told I would have to prize it open with a pen.

although the door didn't shut fully causing water to leak onto the floor.

The open-layout shower without a door or curtain made for a very cold (heat escapes too easily to the high ceiling and right out the open doorway) and messy (water splashes EVERYWHERE) shower without any privacy (it really just needed one more row of frosted glass for the average-height person).

The sliding patio door did not lock, so they gave us what seemed to be a shower rod to put in it,

They closed the door and left without a word

When we arrived our room had a “room being serviced” sticker on the door and a welcome envelope with someone else’s name on it - not very reassuring when we are all hoping for enhanced cleaning due to covid 19.

- Hairs found in the shower
- USB outlets didn’t work
- Balcony door didn’t lock
- Curtains can’t be closed without moving a bunch of furniture
- Music from the roof is soooo loud until at least midnight.

In my room the  tv was broken, my room not cleaned,and bathroom door broken.

though is you have to open the door to the balcony (if you have a room w/balcony) so the fire alarm won’t go off because the shower has no door and is located in front of room by fire alarm.

Only downer here were the elevators slow or out of order.

but the elevator on event days is a bit chaotic .

Saturday we had a wedding to attend and waited 10 minutes for the elevator before finally walking down 7 flights of stairs in heels.

The hotel elevators are slow and too few.

Bad news is that the room and elevators seemed a little shopworn.

The elevators did not work my entire stay.

While there were signs to wear a mask and only have 4 people to an elevator, as well as hand sanitizer available, guests were not following this- and there isn't a way to enforce it.

Unfortunately, we were stuck in the elevator for close to 20 minutes and Aneta was the only person who sincerely apologized and made sure we were taken care of due to this unfortunate circumstance.

We crammed into the elevator with loud, drunk non-hotel guests and got upstairs to the hostess table.

In fact, one elevator had been down for over a week.

cons OUTRAGEOUSLY LOUD MUSIC blasting from 11-4am was woken up at least 3x between 2-4 by group chanting by a bunch of jabronis trying to play cool in williamsburg   wife couldnt sleep at all    its a ehh boutque hotel  elevators do not work properly so took stairs most of time ( due to influx of people coming back and forth from the roof) i have better ways to spend 650 dollars a night .

but a staff member happened to be in the elevator (more on this later) and swiped his card to get me to the 4th floor.

- Elevators take forever to arrive, we ended up using the stairs 90% of the time.

Do yourself a favor, don't stay here unless they get the elevator situation figured out.

Great service, good bar food with a lot of shared laughter.

The whole time there was just a great experience and also the food was great.

We got exceptional service from Haydn at the cafe and everyone was very accommodating.

Would definitely recommend a meal here, especially if you can sit in one of the cozy banquettes.

The food and drink menus were really good.

I would recommend the Arlo hotel for meetings or meals based on the hospitality from Martin and Cindy!

If anyone is ever in town or lives in NY make it a staycation spot, visit the pool with breathtaking views, delicious food and drinks, nightlife and DJ .

The bartenders were true mixology artists, crafting innovative and delicious cocktails that were a delight to the senses so Alejandro, Carlos, Sonam are the best bartenders in New York city.

I reviewed the 4+ star hotels in brookyln with a rooftop pool extensively and settled on this as the best combination of excellent roof, nice looking rooms, central location and price.

Loved the rooftop pool with cozy loungers.

Beautiful rooftop & pool with great vibes and delicious drinks.

The rooms are clean and chic, the food and ambiance are perfect, and the rooftop pool was a great way to wind down at the end of the trip.

The rooftop pool and bar has stunning views of the New York skyline.

My sister and I visited the Williamsburg Hotel for her birthday brunch, including a quick trip to the rooftop pool.

The rooftop pool is nice, with great views, the bed was comfortable, and it's well-located in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn.

The Roof Top Pool and Water Tower provide amazing views of Manhattan.

The rooftop pool and the Waterfront bar are also wonderful.

Otherwise location is golden and the roof top pool is EVERYTHING!

I mean it checked off all the things I was looking for - skyline view, luxurious tub with a skyline view , rooftop pool , and the restaurant and rooftop pool food were both excellent .

The hotel is gorgeous, and the rooftop pool was exactly what we were hoping for - amazing views, comfortable lounging space, great atmosphere, and we felt very safe the entire time.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location, rooftop pool, outside dining.

We can't wait to come here again in the warm weather to try the rooftop pool.

They told me of their plans and showed me the rooftop where a pool was being installed, and the Water tower where a lounge with amazing 360degree views was surely going to be a unique selling point.

So, if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the heart of Williamsburg that is dense with amazing restaurants, cafes and shops. .

The staff was amazing, food and room service were top-notch (order the granola for breakfast), and the neighborhood is awesome - full of wonderful shops and restaurants.

Great view of Manhattan and a great location for walking to shops, restaurants and venues.

we walked to Bedford Ave, which is the Main Street that has plenty of shops, cafes & bars to check out!

It's in walking distance to so many cute restaurants and shops in Williamsburg.
