I had an amazing stay at the Standard for my 30th birthday.

I came here for my birthday and my check in alone made my whole experience worth it at the standard.

Thank you to Mandy for her efforts to make this birthday gift an extra special.

Wife birthday they up grade the room when we got there early check in view from room was fantastic.

Decided to do a staycation for my birthday !

Truly enjoyed every moment of the stay here and it was the perfect selection for a birthday!

The staff was wonderful and upgraded to a suite for my birthday.

It was my birthday and I had a present delivered and they never told me about it.

I took my husband to the city for his Birthday and this Hotel was so AMAZING, very clean, spacious and the views were breathtaking.

I had an amazing staycation here for my birthday.

I stayed at the The Standard, High Line for my birthday this year, and it was the most incredible stay.

Stayed for a friend's birthday, and it was an amazing experience!

I spent my birthday at the Standard Grill this year and had the best time!

Arriving to NYC to celebrate my dear friend's birthday excited to spend some time together.

Came to The Standard, High Line to celebrate my wife's birthday and Amahl and team went above and beyond to make our stay extra special.

Had an great time celebrating my birthday, delicious food and drinks, cozy and luxurious design and top notch service.

Last weekend I stayed at this gorgeous hotel for my 30th birthday!

We visited NY for my birthday and decided to stay at the Standard as we like the area and wanted to go to the rooftop bar LeBain.

We came here to celebrate my 60th birthday and the standard did not disappoint!

Additionally, it would’ve been nice to have a little something (even a verbal “happy birthday”) for my birthday

We were treated with care and delight from every single staff member and felt as through we were family in a luxurious estate.

She was always attentive to my needs, consistently took care of any issues that came my way in an impressively timely manner and, most graciously, always had a smile while doing so.

Deja Mason really knows how to take care of guests and make people feel welcome.

We knew that we could leave the property and he would take care of our belongings as if they were his own.

He took great care of us and was super attentive.

The staff is really amazing and they always take care of you.

He went above and beyond to take care of our luggage and make sure we had a car to get us to our flight on time.

The staff made us feel so welcomed and taken care of.

Great location in Meatpacking District close to the High Line and Whitney Museum.

Excellent service, early check in  and late check out, no fee for pet, and perfectly located in Meatpacking District for anything you may need not to mention amazing views with floor to ceiling windows from just about any room.

The hotel is perfectly situated in the meatpacking district, with easy access to the Hudson River Parkway and tons of good food around.

If you’re ever in the meatpacking district make sure you stay there & meet him.

We so enjoyed the hotel vibe and meatpacking district we came a second time with our 3 children.

The location in the Meatpacking District and on the water can not be beat.

Whether staying at the Standard while on business or making it the center of my plans for an indulgent holiday in the Meatpacking District, this hotel ROCKS… literally and figuratively — and the staff always makes ME feel like a Rock Star!!

Highly recommend for the downtown NY experience of the Meatpacking district / West village vibe I’ve stayed at Standards in LA & FL & would return again.

Location is ideal, in Meatpacking district with Chelsea and West Village nearby, loads of food options blocks away, and is right by High Line Park and across Little Island (my new favorite park).

The location is also great if you're interested in taking a walk along the river or through the Meatpacking District, Chelsea, or West Village.

The location is right in the middle of Meatpacking District, one of the best neighborhoods in downtown Manhattan.

Big fan of the entire hotel and it's location in the meatpacking district was perfect.

You will pay the same price in other hotels of manhattan and get a very poor experience, rude staff and a tiny room.

For the price of this hotel, I expected someone to slightly care since it was a matter of my health (something I do not have control over).

Totally illogical interior design and severely overpriced for the quality of the experience.

There are no slippers in the room (I just stayed at two comparable level hotels, in Boston and Amsterdam, that cost less

If you want a nice room with a view (as advertised) and pay the premium price then do not stay here.

Rooms small and a bit pricey; had a nice view of the Hudson River and Little Island.

In the end, I thought it was very expensive for what it offers.

The Hotel is grossly overpriced for what they deliver.

This hotel costs way too much money for this to be how business is conducted.

The room felt DIRTY and the whole experience was upstaged by the RIDICULOUS FEES.

I found out later when I checked my credit card, that the rate for a two night stay was significantly higher than the rate for a three night stay.

But considering an omelette alone cost $16 we ended up spending over $30 of our own money anyway with tip.

Wouldn’t feel so bad about paying the so-called resort fee if the basics worked and I didn’t have to log my phone in every day.

However, the designers were too busy being cool, and didn't pay attention to basics of the hotel business.

The Hotel is a bit expensive..but I is trendy.

The subsequently offered to refund my resort fee of $30 and send up ear plugs as compensation.

But for the price I paid for the room, it was very upsetting.

It costs $26 to get a cup of coffee in the morning.

I could not understand that such a Beautiful popular  Hotel ( and expensive !

At night, if the window is open it is NOISY

Than the negatives which are quite a lot: they put us in a sub-par room (516), smaller than all other rooms in its class, with noisy water pipes making noises.

My friends who paid less than I ddi for the same type of room got a better room with snack and with a shower in addition to the bed while I used Hotel Engine and stil managed to pay more for the same room type and got no snacks.

Friday night we could hear the nightclub on the 18th floor.

though we were down on the 4th floor this club's music from somewhere 18th floor or higher was very loud and blasted until 3 AM.

in our room we could hear the music from the rooftop club,

There is a club at the rooftop and the music goes loud until late hours, being possible to hear loudly from the room.

unbearable noise from rooftop party till 2 am  bathtub stopper leaking.

We had no issues with the sound from the club being on 16th floor.

though it was right by the elevators, I was barely bothered by the noise or any neighboring sounds—impressive!

The noise during the night is only one of the aspects.

On the down side, walls are noticeably thin and you will hear your neighbors and anyone in the hallway.

but it doesn't quite make up for the fact that the rooms are worn out (we had a maintenance man come to our room twice to fix things), they are noisy (not just the street noise but the pipes in the rooms!

You can also hear the plumbing singing next door at random times.

I hear there is a rooftop disco I will be visiting next time!

cant make them dark enough and you hear everything, from the noise and music on the street to the water pipes of the next room to the conversation on the isle.

but the noise the toilet/pipes did when flushing the toilet was beyond reason, it would wake us up during the night.

My family felt connected to the personable experience given by the team at The Standard.

One of our most outstanding Thanksgiving meals that we have experienced!

I am pleased to see that despite the size of the hotel, the Standard  is still able to provide a personalised experience to customers.

i would take anyone who visited the city here for a nice experience

Elevators are an experience with the multimedia experience.

The first time, we had such a special experience that we vowed to return.

I had the absolute best experience at the Standard High Line.

Beautiful views, great use of the small floor plan in our room, well appointed minibar, mesmerizing elevator experience, and Stassie at the front desk was very kind and helpful!

I’ll definitely be coming back, can’t beat the hospitality!

For me, the quality of service can make or break a travel experience and the entire staff @ The Standard Highline was top notch!

Hotel very shoddy, lots of refugees/homeless staying in guarded basement, our room on 13th floor lefta lot to be desired, one of baths & shower not working, plug sockets faulty, no bedding for sofa  bed, they seemed to put the americans in best rooms and all others in shoddyrooms, handles hanging f doors, avoid at all cost

The air con unit had big gaps to the outside and we had to call guest services who came and put a plastic cover over it to block the draft.

My husband t shirt fell behind the unit below the tv when we got it back we found at least two other t shirts plus  numerous other items …

After changing one room as window was broken and was freezing I know we were not going to spend much time in room as wanted to explore we couldn’t wait to get out of dirty room and get in late

People in the downstairs rest rooms smoking weed, Our room was ok on the 11th floor one radiator was blowing out cold air, no pillowcases on pillows on check in, when you’ve seen dirty pillows you can’t un see them.

but heating on so room was very hot and uncomfortable.

but still not up to standard but possibly livable for a few days.

Well….. After a long day of travelling, a long transfer and a poorly child we got into this room, it was awful, I cried, it was dirty, the blinds were stained with dirt, there were bits and dust on the floors, the air conditioner unit in the wall was letting the coldest New York air blow into our room due to massive gaps around it, I had to pack the gaps and wrap the unit with towels to reduce the cold air into the room.

ACS did not work which is why we had to change room three times.

but it was super noisy because we had to choose between the really loud air conditioner unit or the 24/7 construction happening next door.

There were dangerous leads running from the airconditioning that blocked the windows.

There was also a noisy, dirty AC unit in the window which was right next to the bed.

The outside looks like an old apartment building with dirty air conditioning units in every window.

The window mounted air conditioning was from the 1970s.

The AC units are old, have cords hanging down the walls and are very noisy at night.

The air conditioning was a noisy window unit.

air conditioning is too noisy, bathroom too small, carpet smells bad!

The bathroom cleanliness was questionable, i wasn't sure if it was dirt or miscolouring.

Both of the rooms were shoddy and unclean, particularly the bathrooms.

I still don't understand why they even charged a deposit of $300 when there was nothing in my room to spend on, no mini-bar, not even a shower gel..only some ratty towels.

The furniture itself is also precarious, the shower was disastrous and part of the tub was broken, and we had half of the amenities.

We were shown 4 different rooms each as dirty as the other with damaged furniture, dirty bathrooms, stained carpets,broken window blinds with dirt and dust everywhere.

The bathroom was small and the shower was tiny, I had to get out of the shower to wash my feet otherwise it would be washed off before I could clean them 😂.

As an example, when using the toilet in room 1427 you are facing the washroom door.

The shower head was very loose and dirty.

The carpet was ripped, headboards and nightstand covered in a variety of different stains, bathroom sink was leaking, and the tub literally had fixtures falling off.

Hotel was less than par stinky rooms bathrooms smelled of pee, we changed room three times and then, even when we settled for the last room.

First room, got out of the lift to the smell of dirty uncleaned carpets, found our room and that was even worse, dirty carpets, walls, blinds and bathroom.

Nice lobby, leaking commode, not enough towels, side street has a locked door, keeping out the homeless sleepers at night.

There were 4 of us, and the maid would only leave 3 towels, we had to buy our own toilet rolls as they never refreshed them, when we were in one morning and asked for one when the maid came she was suprised by the request and had to go look for some.

No bedspreads or blankets; furniture horribly scratched or broken; bathrooms dirty enough that my children refused to use them without towels on the floor and bottom of the tub; gaps around air conditioners allowing December New York winds into the room strong enough to move the privacy blinds; carpet stained and filthy; etc.

Broken blinds and chairs with ripped fabric, visible dirt in the room, sticky surfaces in the bathroom.

but they no way reflected the cleanness or care of service from all the staff that we received during our stay and happy to stay here again on our next visit.

if u care about clean and esthetic place to put your head pick something else

Curtis and ash always take care of me when I come in.

Ivan and Jenny at the desk made me feel welcome and took care of everything I needed.

Also all the staff were super nice, friendly, and always made sure we were taken care of

Carl always takes great care of our group!!

We are treated like family and they take good care of us.

Even after all of this I was told that she called later that night from a train on her way home to make sure that our family was taken care of.

Excellent, attentive service, friendly, spacious 1 bedroom with kitchenette, one bathroom and a half, Nile'sRestaurant Classic Buffalo Wings were exquisite, Danielle at the front desk made sure I was taken care of.

Andrew Dailey, one of the managers, has always gone out of his way to put us into our favorite room and take care of all of our needs.His efforts earn him a 5 star review!!!

Jenny went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were taken care of.

I always enjoy staying at the Stewart hotel I’m always well taken care of with what I need the staff Is always nice and welcoming especially Andrew he goes above and beyond to accommodate as well as Desiree.

Andrew and Danielle always take care of me and upgrade me  to the one bed room suite.

The best people at the hotel are Jenny at check-in, who we love, and Agata, our housekeeper on floor 21 - who really takes care of us.

Jenny was excellent in helping us check in and take care of any issues we had.

but we were amazed and impressed as always at the care and consideration the Stewart put into our visit.

This was my birthday getaway to NY city with friends and the way we were greeted and taken care of at the hotel honestly couldn’t have been better.

It returned it to hotel usage in 2004 as the Affinia Manhattan Hotel, and was renamed the Stewart Hotel in 2016(wiki map).

I am so glad we discovered Stewart Hotel because being able to book 4 double queen bed rooms at the last minute is such a rare find in Manhattan!

The location of the hotel is in a busy part of Manhattan.

Was a very nice stay in the middle of Manhattan, made the trip with our friends a very easy and fun filled time.

The Stewart hotel is a very historic and iconic hotel right in the heat of Manhattan.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed, received great advices & tips about the city, shops, restaurants and places to see here in Manhattan.

Nothing beats the view from one of their terrace suites, and the central location has you just minutes from anywhere in Manhattan.

The Stewart is conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan, near all major Transportation and Entertainment.

great location We would not hesitate to come back to the Stewart Hotel in New York City Manhattan.

I stay 50+ nights annually in Manhattan. Sad.

The bathrooms are especially huge for Manhattan.

Located in the heart of Manhattan, a skip away from Macy's across from Penn Station, the Stewart is an old, charming New York landmark.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Manhattan.

Run down, thin walls- you can hear everything outside including your neighbor, good location, pull pit bed full of stains, bath tub peeling paint.

Although an ambulance did arrive after a while all the staff done was rope her off like a vip, no help given.

We did get noise from hearing the fire trucks and sirens next door.

The hotel is on 7th avenue opposite Penn station it's going to be noisy, bring ear plugs we were on the 15th floor and I slept like a baby!

They started their works from 6 in the morning and also workin partly through the night - really annoying and disturbing as you can really not  find  a quiet moment to  sleep- extremely noisy !

I await to hear their "so sad to hear your unpleasant experience and will try to improve ".

The two bed room was really noisy and we did not sleep at all.

This makes the area very congested with a lot of noise.

First room we got on the 4th floor was dirty, noisy and lacked bedding.

but can be very noisy outside from 6am onwards.

The windows would not seal so we heard 7th Avenue all night, from the 21st floor, despite bringing a noise machine I used in Brooklyn every day.

The rooms were very small and very dirty in particular the bathrooms, The airconditioner was rattling and making loud noises making it difficult to sleep.

impossible to sleep: musty smell and unbearable noise!

Stay somewhere else, Stewart Hotel is a nasty place in my opinion and you won't be happy with your stay.

The floor we were on had a vert distinct smell of weed the whole time we were there, despite not being able to smoke in the hotel!

but the staff are amazing and helpful, I didn’t as some have mentioned find it ‘disgusting’ and I struggle to see why anyone would.

It is dirty and disgusting and the manager and staff are rude and unhelpful.

I have literally never in my life seen anything so grim and disgusting.

It was filthy, covered in old dirt and coffee stains.

The worst part was the bathroom again very old and tired looking with mould and brown tile grouting.

Do not stay here unless you enjoy paying hundreds of dollars to sleep in filth.
