My room was well thought out and had all of the amenities you would come to expect in New York City.

Look, I travel to New York a lot, and I have to say this really is the best service I’ve ever gotten.

Courtney and Steven were two of the most accommodating individuals we came across in New York.

Room was clean and a great size for New York and having a back drop of the Empire State from the rooftop pool who could need anymore?

The pool is just as good as on the picture (with Empire State overlooking you, and the golden roof of the New York Life building seen on the other side.

I’m from New York and this hotel was a pleasant surprise - lovely staff, large rooms (especially for New York!

I’ve been to New York more than a dozen times and I can honestly say it’s the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

Every day after exploring the busy streets of New York, it was great to have a space to lie out and soak up some sun and cool off in the pool.

My daughter lives 8 blocks from this location so this will be my new go-to hotel when I'm in New York.

We’ll definitely stay at this hotel anytime we come to New York.

The hotel in question is in an excellent location, close to the successful transportation network of the New York subway.

but all the locals whom entered could sit wherever they choose,absolutely shocking,on about equality and all that..I travel every week or every second week to New York with work and stay at a four star which is absolutely fantastic and never ever in all the years I've been coming to the states have we been treated so appallingly..

All in all we had a fabulous time and would definitely return to this hotel if returning to New York.

We just spent two weeks in New York, staying at The Royalton Park Avenue.

but also for walking uptown or downtown and you can grab a 15 bus on Lexington to go to South Street Seaport.. We will definitely stay here again if we visit New York ..

rooms very nice Roof Top bar perfect and the hotel is located perfect in New York City.

I would strongly recommend them as a Hotel to stay in when in New York.

Further, I found out that my key card was deactivated - while I left the room with all my belongings still inside.

Just to note, there is a fee of $40 a day service charge which is not explained when checking in.

When we checked in, the front desk person did not explain to us that there is a $40 facility fee charge per day, nor explained the coverage of facility fee until we received the receipt by email after the stay.

they charge your credit card for stuff u do not order after u leave.

We were presented with a final bill which had errors on it and then checked our bank and charges had been made which far exceeded the figure on the bill.

Underwhelming, poor service and overcharged.

Last night of our stay there ,  they suddenly canceled the key cards  to the room because they had forgotten to ask us for the credit card on the first day and with that way we were forced to pass through the reception.

However, when we came to pay the bill at the end of our trip they had charged us 100 dollars!!

but still part of the hotel)

One drawback since my return is that there is still a pending payment on my credit card.

Additionally we were charged for two bottles of water we did not consume.

- Room service ends at 9.30pm which is a shame
- You will be charged $40 tax per night on top of the room rate which I guess is standard

Any potential people staying should be aware that the room rate you’ve paid doesn’t include taxes and service charges so check before booking.

I would not recommend this hotel and am in the process of filing a better business bureau complaint and a complaint with my credit card about the excessive $300+ charge for pulling out the pull out couch which was not disclosed.

Yes, I’ve seen AA charged security deposits and Caucasian counterparts not at the same locations!

I found it funny that they charge you for use of a pod of coffee in the room.

Long story short, AMEX had no knowledge of the renovations.

And lastly the facility charge it’s a disgrace I thought I had to pay it for just staying, I didn’t use the pool once, didn’t drink any water and I didn’t use anything for business has anyone went on and had a refund on this?

It was also the first time that I have seen a charge if one opts to have a coffee in the room -- $3 per coffee, and that's with no liquid creamer of any sort available -- just the powdered stuff.

If you’re not careful, could get stuck with unexpected charges.

Damage deposit was put against our card which can either be standard or some hotels just don’t do it,

The location is fantastic, near all the shops and transportation.

The location is surrounded by great restaurants and shopping and the subway is close by if you want to go further out.

The location is convenient to everything, and our concierge Erik pointed us to bars and restaurants we wouldn’t have found on our own, and detailed subway directions.

Location is close enough to walk to many spots plus the 6 train is right there.

The hotel is conveniently located at 29th and Park — close to the NYU Langone Health Center.

The property is very nice, very ideally located for us within walking distance to Union Square, Murray Hill and Gramercy.

Pros- 
-Large bedroom for NY (lots of space to unpack and move around)
-Coffee machine in the room
-Excellent cleaners (came everyday and room was always cleaned)
-The rooftop bar was a really lovely space (customer service let it down)
-Location: if you like to walk then the location is super, very close to 5th Avenue, Empire State, Grand Central etc 
-Great restaurants in the area (we loved Upland & Sabai Thai)
-Umbrella in the room to use on rainy days 
-Shampoo, conditioner and soaps in the room.

For the price it’s a spacious room at a good location with many stores accessible.

It was also in a great location for easy access to all the neighbourhoods we wanted to visit.

The location in mid Manhattan is very well suited for tourists, seemed safe to us also at night (well, had no bad experiences in the whole of Manhattan anyway).

It is in a great location, has generous size, well appointed rooms, and a roof top restaurant, lounge and pool.

Hotel is in a great location with subway only a minute away.

This hotel was conveniently located to access everything we wanted to see.

We stayed in the Manhattan Suite which has very lovely (and unexpected) views and is well-appointed, clean and very comfortable.

LOVED this hotel, it is absolutely my new go-to for comfortable stays in Manhattan.

The hotel location is perfect for visits to key highlights of Manhattan be the 9/11 Memorial, Tomes Square/Broadway, the High Line, Brooklyn.

The rooftop pool was a wonderful amenity that very few hotels in Manhattan have.

Much bigger than most hotel rooms in Manhattan which is why I’ll be returning to this hotel for my next trip in October.

but conscientious, this place is excellent reservation rates excellent luxury facilities, my view from the balcony of my room was to the empire state building and very comfortable open spaces and the suite a dream is one of my favorite hotels in the whole city, my stay in manhattan is always with this hotel

The location is great if you need to go all over Manhattan as it is central.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you plan to visit most of Manhattan (exception would be Upper West Side) or Brooklyn and prefer walking 10-20 blocks rather taking taxis.

I intend to use this hotel every time I return to New York. The rooms were large enough for sure, and the emeritierst (pool, rooftop bar etc.)

The hotel has its own rooftop lounge and swimming pool if one chooses to dine in and get a nice view of the Empire State Building while up top.

During our stay, hotel staff were really helpful, the rooftop bar and pool were a great addition, providing some relaxing downtime in between sightseeing and thr food and cocktails were great!

Speaking of the rooftop the bar up there is great and Hector is fantastic.

Service was excellent, comfy bed, good amount of space in the room, large bathtub and cute rooftop bar.

This hotel enhanced our visit to New York ..the staff were so helpful and accommodating especially Nina who was lovely.. We loved the rooftop bar at night looking out over the Summit and also  sitting in the sun ( a very balmy Feb in NYC) for breakfast on the terrace by the fireplace.. Our room was huge ! !!

The rooftop restaurant and views are remarkable and the room itself was clean comfortable and for the cost it is one of the nicer hotels we stayed at in the city.

These rooms are large for NYC with nice bathrooms and good light.

The Lotte hotel is in a very central position for exploring New York.

Our room is spacious by New York standards

Towers at Lotte New York Palace is among the most sought-after luxury hotels in Midtown Manhattan.

This was by far our favorite New York hotel experience and we will be back!

We stayed at the Lotte Place in New York and what a great experience.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Lotte New York Palace recently.

but in sum, I would say I would highly recommend staying at the Lotte New York Palace for a quick getaway, an extended stay, or just a quick visit for a cocktail or bite.

We just returned from a wonderful stay in a corner suite in the Towers at the Lotte New York Palace.

Another great stay at Lotte New York Palace.

We just stayed at the Lotte New York palace for 4 great nights.

The location is splendid; across the street is St Patrick's Cathedral and the window dressings of Saks Fifth Ave. [It's a short walk to Rockefeller Center or Central Park] But what sets the Lotte apart from other hotels is the staff; friendly , gracious and helpful, especially Rebecca Villasenor.

It’s about 10 blocks south of Central Park.

We walked to Bryant Park, Central Park, Grand Central, Times Square and Rockefeller Center as well as easy cabs and subway access throughout the city.

The location is also really good for shopping with Radio City, the Rockefeller Centre and Central Park close by.

This is a really nice hotel and close to all the big attractions in NYC a few minutes walk from Times Square,  Central Park and very close to the rockafella centre and FAO Schwarz.

The hotel itself is perfectly situated in midtown in close proximity to shopping, restaurants,  art galleries, businesses and Central Park.

The hotels location is perfect, its next to St Patricks Cathedral, walking distance to Times Square and Central Park.

The location of this hotel is perfect for shopping, great dining and simply for strolling along Madison and 5th Avenues as well as within close proximity to Central Park.

It’s a nine hotel in a very good location , very convenient for 5th avenue, Central Park, Times Square, Madison Avenue.

The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue shopping and Central Park.

Diego, our stellar concierge, found us a beautiful dinner location overlooking Central Park which made it extra special.

The hotel is ideally located so close to Rockerfella Centre, 5th Avenue, Times Square, Central Park.

Walking distance to Times Square and Central Park.

I travel for business and the central mid-town location is so convenient to Central Park, Time Square, and so many other places in Manhattan.

Walking location for theaters,Central Park,and restaurants.

It is an easy walk to Central Station, Times Square, Central Park, and Broadway, yet the area feels just a bit quieter, and we loved getting out early in the morning to wander outdoors around the Rockefeller complex before the crowds came in.

Special thanks to Isabella for helping us cater a superb picnic meal in Central Park, which our family will not soon forget, and to Clara for making us and I daresay all guests who visit the lobby feel special.

Pros
- rooms are very large and clean
- good location, walking distance to loads of sights (Rockerfeller, Central Park, Grand Central Station, Times Square, 5th Ave, etc)
- Maurice - ask for the secret Gossip Girl tour - not just our highlight of the hotel

Central to Broadway, Museums, Central Park and Shopping.

However, rather than having our bags in our room upon our return, we had to go through an additional check in process for keys and then take a blue card to the bellmen station.

I wouldn't be writing this if the Palace was billed as a 3* hotel.

Don't be fooled this hotel is not worth what they charge for it.

The rooms in the hotel no longer have a minibar, do not have a coffee maker or similar and the hotel charges for interntet (more than US$15 a day).

Bed linens were often messy and crumpled despite asking for linens to be changed by putting the card on the bed.

although isn't a huge amount we were frustrated this was something being charged when just about every shop / restaurant / hotel now days offer free Wi-Fi.

We had a very long day after missing a connection at JFK and had just been charged an exorbitant fee for the ride to the hotel.

No more basics (ie turn down service, change of towels etc) and went to the bar for a drink after the theatre. Definitely some companionship business transactions occurring at bar (yes you can assume!)

Unfortunately now they run an overpriced broke hotel, if you want something from the minibar a 35 dollar additional re stock charge.

but this is no longer a 5 star property and shouldn't be billed as such.

The only quirk was there are no charging ports for iphone.

To their credit they left two complimentary bottles of water in the room at all times.

Also WIFI was being charged at 15usd per day extra. 3.)

We booked a car to pick us up from the airport, quoted €326 and on check out charged us €407 with no explanation and a flippant response from concierge.

Another thing that we expect was a kettle in the room with coffee/tea making facilities,  When we queried this we were told to order from room service (at a charge).

The hotel is old, it’s in need of a makeover asap for the prices that they are charging, no space at the bar, we where told to find something of the venue, the room service was awful, there is no minibar in the room and if you find one double check it’s clean!the views are one of the best!

but there are better options with much better customer service if you are booking with Amex FHR.

Outlet on lamp (to charge phone) does not work (and no USB).
