Unripe bananas, Trix flavored yogurt (strawberry and VERY sweet), stack of frozen Eggo waffles, hard boiled eggs in a crockpot, dry pastries.

The only negatives:  there's only one elevator, and it seems to move at a snail's pace, so I opted for the stairs most of the time.

although there was no hint of smoke, made our way downstairs (literally, not using the elevator) to the lobby, where the night manager sheepishly confessed to the cause of our rude awakening.

), only one slow elevator, my room only had a desk chair--no other chair, lobby was not very comfortable or inviting, paper-thin walls (if you’re unlucky, you’ll have lots of people letting their room doors slam shut, and you’ll hear every one), bathrooms have shower gel dispensers instead of actual soap.

The elevator was not the quickest, sometimes you had to wait couple of minutes , as it served all 9 floors and lower level.

While waiting to get on the elevator we heard one of the front desk staff say it would be 3 or 4 hours.

We had a hard time making the turn out of the elevator into the hallway, with our suitcases, were you are meet by a door as soon as you make that turn.

Only suggestion would be to look into possibly adding a 2nd elevator,

Elevator extremely small -- definitely not for the claustrophobic!!

A few reviews on here said elevator was too small and slow we fit myself I am average my husband who is 6'2" 240lbs (football player build)  a teenage boy and our 10 year olds and bags we were fine who cares if it's slow you're on a getaway/vacation I need to point this out sorry.

The only downside was that the elevator got stuck at one point and we walked to the 9th floor.

The only thing that annoyed me was hearing a door slamming in the morning since our room was right next to the elevator.

Stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights, check in was quick & hassle free.

Our room was upgraded because of the long stay and were given late checkout and free baggage service.

The cold water machine in the gym was a nice bonus.

Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff, free continental breakfast, free wifi, free luggage hold so we could check out and continue our adventures the day we were leaving, and not have to carry our luggage around the city!

I stayed for 6 days and was fed up of eating a boiled egg daily.

The first morning, we had to wait for the elevator, and it took so much time.

Not enough elevators to service the volume of customers, ended up having to take the stairs on check out, which wasn't the best with 10 nights worth of luggage.

The lifts are old, slow and don’t work too well.

To start off with, the rooms are far from sound proof, we were given a room lodged in-between two lifts and could here everything going on in the corridors.

Lifts a bit of an issue as only 2 were working and we needed to walk down 12 floors with our luggage .

Tiny, very slow elevators that take ages to get up or down - you could easily have a cheaper and 10x better hotel in New Jersey and be in Times Square in a very similar time as from this hotel.

Only downside was slow packed elevators during high traffic times.

Elevators can take a little longer to come

But from a ‘recently’ renovated hotel (actually, from the really dirty lobby, from the carton covered elevators and the dust everywhere, you should expect that renovations is still going on…but nobody’s working here…) you should expect more!!

The lifts are a awful so dirty inside, face mask in the same lift for 3 days so obviously not cleaned or checked on a daily basis.

Lifts can be horrendous at peak times, took me 30 mins to get from the 19th floor on the day of checking out.

Only hotel gripes were, elevators are a bit of a nightmare at peak times, and noise travelled quite well through the room door which was a little annoying late at night - maybe guests need to be more mindful of others.

The price doesn’t include breakfast, the elevator is old and the whole place smells really weird.

Third thing I noticed was the DIRTY FILTHY ELEVATOR OMG I WAS OFFICIALY SCARED TO GET TO MY ROOM!

but we were told by front desk that there's no camera in the elevator, so there's no way for them to check the guest's identity.

The elevator is very slow, the corridor is usually dirty.

As soon as we've got off from the elevator on 18th floor .. YIKES the smell was so bad!

When I booked I chose the free parking option and she didn’t even look until she realized I did have it and then explained the parking.. which was 3 blocks away!

The location is central to all, and the staff went above and beyond to help us when our flight was greatly delayed by allowing us to stay in their comfortable lobby with all the free coffee and tea we wanted.. We will be back.

The view was beautiful, beds so comfy, loved their free toiletries, and a added bonus free laundry facility in basement I thought that was so cool.

If the price was right we would stay again.

Upsides are it has a great free breakfast , eggs, bacon, waffles , pancakes, fresh chopped fruit etc .

A few nights a week they have a help yourself to free beer and wine and food.

Also on some nights in the week, there is a great free bar and food provided in the early evening (until 6pm, I think).

We had a good start with the place when they upgraded us free to a better higher floor when we told them we come to celebrate my wife's birthday.

This hotel is ideal for extended stay as one can do heir own cooking, and there’s a large refrigerator to stock up on supplies.

Having a coffee percolator plus the microwave and big fridge was fantastic.

We had a suite with a kitchenette which was great, it had a big fridge and we could op for cleaning or not cleaning each day.

but convenient. the kitchen is too big (we do not need a full kitchen with a huge refrigerator)

Kitchen in room: Very well-equipped with two-ring ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher.

I was surprised how large the kitchen area was in the room.

Rooms have nice kitchenettes with apartment size large frig, stove and microwave.

The kitchen is well appointed with a large refrigerator with a built in ice machine.

A great hotel with suites features like huge refrigerator oven dishwasher stove etc and small dining space at the hustling space of Times Square and adjacent to Port Authority Bus Terminal.

On the plus side, the room was well-appointed with a small kitchen, stove, microwave, big fridge and cookware (can't comment on the TV quality).

The suites are fantastic with kitchenettes and large spacious bathrooms.

The room was clean & did come with a kitchenette which is a big bonus in NYC if you are on a budget. ..

This hotel is clean, nicely appointed, comfortable bed and pillows, includes a small mini-kitchen with big fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, dishwasher, coffeepot, even a garbage disposal.

Big fridge and freezer to keep all your goodies nice and cold and a ice machine for your drink's.

We had a large fridge/freezer, 2 non coiled oven tops, a mircowave, a safe, roomy closet and even a kitchen sink within the first 5 feet.

They have a microwave and a large fridge freezer to keep things cool.

This is a good sized hotel room, considering NYC, clean, well decorated, with fully equipped  kitchenette (big refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and all needed utensils).Free and fast Wi-FI in the rooms.

but concierge staff where very helpful, no laundry as advertised and as per signage in foyer.

Apart from the breakfast the place is great I would really recommend it, the free laundry in the basement is handy too, and all the staff were great.

Great facilities  onsite, gym, free laundry (just need 4 quarters  to buy detergent) and buffet breakfast is included in the room rate along with 3 social  nights,.

The hotel has a laundry that guests use free, -good for us as we stayed over a week.

Though I dont typically stay in Times SQ, I found an irresistible price for two nights at this mid-range value hotel , it had so much including free laundry machines, breakfast (better than just cereal), complementary weekday happy-hours.

That's right parents of kids, FREE LAUNDRY!

Positives were the breakfast was great, we used the Dining room downstairs, the afternoon drinks and food were excellent as was the free use of the Laundry.

Breakfast was good and descent, the evening social hours was a surprise addition and also the free laundry.

You need to plan elevator trips as only two and not spacious so if there are four of you with cases you'll be waiting a bit.

The wait for a elevator was ridiculous taking at the minimum 10-20 minutes.

Often, the hotel lobby is crowded with people waiting for the elevator.

The Staybridge's pluses easily outweighed my little grumbles, which were waiting for the elevator and the room size.

But going up the wait for the elevator was no more than 5 minutes.

Guess what you need to wait an hour to get your luggage downstairs no joke.
