Best environment at the lobby bar and water tower.

Environment was excellent as well as the staff.

Very cool rooms and decor, great skyline views.

Would definitely recommend a meal here, especially if you can sit in one of the cozy banquettes.

The hotel itself exudes a unique charm that is characteristic of Brooklyn.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the doorman greeted me with warm smiles, setting the tone for a delightful atmosphere.

The space was thoughtfully designed, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Cindy the bartender was nothing less than perfect, the young lady is so sweet and makes a delicious old fashioned, was a great night , highly recommend the hotel and to ask for Cindy!

I went on a Thursday mid-day and Jasmine the bartender really completed the vibe with all her local suggestions & great drinks!!!!

The room had some issues with it, which I've never had on property, including the 9 foot bathroom door falling off the hinge and needing to call someone to come up at 11:30pm to fix so it didn't break the shower glass, almost no amenities ready in the room including robes and slippers vs. my previous stays, and the hotel phone in the room didn't work.

The shower head was so high up that it had to be tilted backwards so as not to spray over the glass door.

- The door to the balcony did not lock. Yikes.

We contacted reception to repair sliding door to balcony, bathroom faucet was loose, there was no room around the sink area to place our toiletry bags.

The doors to the toilet room wouldn’t latch shut and just roll open.

Our room had cracked bathroom floor tiles, non-working bedside lamps, bathroom pocket doors that would not close, and a terrace door with a non-working electronic lock.

It’s hard to get some rest when there is base from EDM booming, noise of people yelling, doors being slammed, etc.

In this room the balcony door was broken and you could not lock it.

The phone charger port on the wall did not work and the door to the room did not fully close.

Not long after settling in I heard knocks on a door from service.

Our suitcase would take up the quarter of the room between the bed and bathroom door.

The safe door had no handle so I was just told I would have to prize it open with a pen.

although the door didn't shut fully causing water to leak onto the floor.

The open-layout shower without a door or curtain made for a very cold (heat escapes too easily to the high ceiling and right out the open doorway) and messy (water splashes EVERYWHERE) shower without any privacy (it really just needed one more row of frosted glass for the average-height person).

The sliding patio door did not lock, so they gave us what seemed to be a shower rod to put in it,

They closed the door and left without a word

When we arrived our room had a “room being serviced” sticker on the door and a welcome envelope with someone else’s name on it - not very reassuring when we are all hoping for enhanced cleaning due to covid 19.

- Hairs found in the shower
- USB outlets didn’t work
- Balcony door didn’t lock
- Curtains can’t be closed without moving a bunch of furniture
- Music from the roof is soooo loud until at least midnight.

In my room the  tv was broken, my room not cleaned,and bathroom door broken.

though is you have to open the door to the balcony (if you have a room w/balcony) so the fire alarm won’t go off because the shower has no door and is located in front of room by fire alarm.

Only downer here were the elevators slow or out of order.

but the elevator on event days is a bit chaotic .

Saturday we had a wedding to attend and waited 10 minutes for the elevator before finally walking down 7 flights of stairs in heels.

The hotel elevators are slow and too few.

Bad news is that the room and elevators seemed a little shopworn.

The elevators did not work my entire stay.

While there were signs to wear a mask and only have 4 people to an elevator, as well as hand sanitizer available, guests were not following this- and there isn't a way to enforce it.

Unfortunately, we were stuck in the elevator for close to 20 minutes and Aneta was the only person who sincerely apologized and made sure we were taken care of due to this unfortunate circumstance.

We crammed into the elevator with loud, drunk non-hotel guests and got upstairs to the hostess table.

In fact, one elevator had been down for over a week.

cons OUTRAGEOUSLY LOUD MUSIC blasting from 11-4am was woken up at least 3x between 2-4 by group chanting by a bunch of jabronis trying to play cool in williamsburg   wife couldnt sleep at all    its a ehh boutque hotel  elevators do not work properly so took stairs most of time ( due to influx of people coming back and forth from the roof) i have better ways to spend 650 dollars a night .

but a staff member happened to be in the elevator (more on this later) and swiped his card to get me to the 4th floor.

- Elevators take forever to arrive, we ended up using the stairs 90% of the time.

Do yourself a favor, don't stay here unless they get the elevator situation figured out.

The room was a reasonable size and had an amazing view of Manhattan from the Balcony.

We had the good fortune to be able to watch a thunderstorm sweep in from the west and engulf Manhattan.

Lovely vibe at the hotel with amazing views of Manhattan.

We were made to feel so welcome by all staff and a special thanks goes to Joyce who gave us an excellent room with views across to Manhattan.

After a long days work, being able to kick back and enjoy a cocktail and see the Skyline of Manhattan is unmatched.

It’s close to a park you can have an amazing view from Manhattan 🥰.

Location was in an area that was so easy to get anywhere from whether subway or cab into Manhattan.

Definitely worth the trip from Manhattan to BK.

But perhaps the hotel’s crowning achievement is the stunning rooftop—with views stretching across the East River to Manhattan, you can’t beat this view.

The rooftop view is one of the best views of Manhattan.

The rooftop does have amazing views of Manhattan.

I had a very nice and well maintained room with great views of Manhattan.

Definitely a nice alternative to staying in Manhattan.

We also went to the Water Tower bar which had the BEST views of Manhattan!!

Great view of Manhattan and a great location for walking to shops, restaurants and venues.

Staring with proximity of parking to first contact with top notch staff to conditions of the hotel (very tastefully done, high quality, no corners cut) to the layout and design of the room and the absolutely wonderful "Water Tower" bar with striking views over the river and Manhattan and an awesome disc jokey.

but the view and space is great to have nice drinks with a view of Manhattan.

The music was fun and upbeat and a perfect volume.

If anyone is ever in town or lives in NY make it a staycation spot, visit the pool with breathtaking views, delicious food and drinks, nightlife and DJ .

The speedy service delivered delicious food and drinks, while the soothing background music allowed for uninterrupted conversations with friends.

Good food and drinks come out extremely fast, and the music is at a nice low volume so you can easily chat with your friends.

The vibe is really great in the restaurant, great music and energy from the staff.

The Location: not far from our wedding venue (The Music Hall of Williamsburg) and set in the perfect place for city views (near the east river) and plenty of shopping and food options.

Live music, delicious food, and attentive and accommodating service from Genty and the rest of the staff made me very glad to be in Brooklyn on a Sunday morning.

The eggs Benedict was amazing and the music and ambiance was great.

Genty was very friendly, and we are definitely coming back:) There was also live music.

I came to the restaurant to have lunch and the service was absolutely impeccable.

The food is great and the service consistently excellent - today Martin and Bella were both very helpful and friendly.

Hotel was very clean and nice and the service at the restaurant was great Genty was our server and he was awesome and super attentive.

The room was too small for suitcases to be opened or stored.

Now for the bad: the rooms are very small and not furnished in any way for a five star hotel.

The room is so tiny there is no room for your luggage.

but the tiny room, service etc., see review, were not going to be any different and that check in first impression was a lasting one.

but small (but I'm used to small rooms in NYC).

when I checked into my room it was a bit too small for my liking and quickly had a talk with myself not to be that person, I Know I'm in New York

They were very friendly and attentive to our needs while also giving us space to work.

When I got hungry I went downstairs and was served by the nicest server Martin who checked on my regularly and my food came out fast and delicious.

This boutique hotel in the heart of Williamsburg feels like you are staying with friends.

Came here for the corner suites as all the other rooms here and in  Williamsburg are miniature 175-240 sq.

I had an amazing stay at the Standard for my 30th birthday.

I came here for my birthday and my check in alone made my whole experience worth it at the standard.

Thank you to Mandy for her efforts to make this birthday gift an extra special.

Wife birthday they up grade the room when we got there early check in view from room was fantastic.

She also sent a complimentary Rose to my room for my birthday !
