No hot drink facilities in room only at small hut for very limited hours,vending machine empty,restaurant menu poor choice and over priced,staff rude,charged extra £125 for use of amenities that were no good to use or closed

Our room was dirty as we arrived it had make up in the sink and hair in the bed and toilet.

The bathroom with its glass walls is quite peculiar.

The shower handle was broken, the bed would not stay inclined, the room was so hot, we had to turn on the AC that never cooled the room and our room was cleaned and not replenished with the bare necessities of wash rags and toilet paper.

Only problem for us was the size..it was really small and we didnt like how the bathroom and toilet is made of glass so little privacy only frosted/printed glass.

We was told we had a leak in our original room on arrival so put us in a similar room with a bunk.

The shower was dirty with stains and boogers on the wall.

Room had black mold around the shower and the management did not care that the room was not set up for guests.

There was no shower curtain and the control panel for the air conditioning/heat did not work.

There were little knats crawling in the drain of both the sink and the shower in the bathroom.

but bathroom needs updating as shower leaked.

Room very worn (gouged woodwork, stained sink, missing room-divider curtain, electrical outlet/USB socket panel mounted upside down and loose, smoke detector - I think - covered with plastic bag: have photo), bed comfortable, lots of noise (people and plumbing) during the night, Wi-Fi unreliable and slow (cellular better!

There’s lack of privacy in the rooms (washroom is within a few feet from the bed with no full door) and the bedroom itself is starting to show its age (cracks in the wall and baseboards).

This is a bare-bones hotel--no amenities except hair dryer and ironing board.

bed was not a queen size and the mattress was very soft , room was quite small and no privacy when on toilet  we was on the 25th floor and the view was great .

Shower door shattering after my shower, not so much.

The furniture was a bit worn and there was visible dust grime in multiple spots, as well as mold in the shower.

So the little capsule cabin was small, didn't even have a place for my suitcase, and was hard to navigate the shower/toilet with the limited space.

Just why they decided on an open plan bedroom bathroom is beyond me.

This was another great stay with friends, easy check-in, very clean rooms, fast internet, the reception which they call Mission Control have a very nice team, very friendly and helpful, Stephen is the guy to go.

Check-in very easy on the kiosks, went up and as we bought a corner queen, was amazing, I recommend this room, if you want to have a great feeling of the NY Manhattan Skyline, here is the place and this is the room.

We were a group of friends, easy check-in on the kiosks, then we had to change the departure dates and we went to reception, which they call mission control, fantastic people, Nicole, Jenny and Stephen all great and warm and also funny.

but we found check in easy and there was a desk if you needed help.

I am obsessed with how easy and quick the check-in is on the self-service monitors/i-pads.

Overall a really great stay at Yotel, they delivered on my request, the location was us first timers was excellent and there were plenty of amenities within comfortable walking distance.

It's disappointing to have such a negative experience at a hotel that I had hoped would provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

it was cleaned so well everyday fresh towels and always had hot water the bed was also very comfortable.

The hotel was very clean, comfortable and perfect for our trip.

The bunk beds were great for the kids, and the beds were comfortable.

but comfortable and suited our needs for a good nights sleep in a clean comfy room, it is quite small but that was fine for us.

I’ll start with the good, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

but the comfy bed makes up for it, we enjoyed our stay on the 20th floor great views and an amazing location.

but bed was comfortable, nice view, looks new which is nice.

but the bed was comfy and wifi was excellent.

Hotel was is a great location for all the main sightseeing spots.

10 minute walk to nearest Sub station which is port authority and 15 minutes to main times square so location is quite good.

The Hotel has an excellent location, making it easy to get to most of the tourist attractions visited.

Hotel is in a good location for Times Square, Hudson Yard and Intreprid Museum.

Fantastic location, close to Times Square and Subway stations, plus CVS and Target were right across the road.

Location is perfect, 10 minutes walk to Times Square.

I have stayed at this location multiple times to attend conferences at Javits.

Good location for everything we wanted to do.

It did not feel fresh or new as this is advertised as a modern hotel,

a great location near Javits, hobbled by “modern, labor saving ideas” like a luggage robot that’s, kiosks for check in that have never worked,

I expected that as a modern self-sevice hotel, I would get there and have to sort myself out.

It seemed modern and spacious on the photos,

The rooms were modern so great for teens!

The room had such a modern feel and it was super practical, even for a party of 3!

The hotel is super modern, practical and really well located nese Times Square.

Bed was very comfortable and shower/bathroom facility was also very modern. Not very much storage for long haul visitors (we are from the UK so had a weeks worth of warm clothes with us!)

Still clean room with a modern efficient design.

Otherwise, it was fun friendly, modern and inviting.

Yotel is a nice modern hotel not far from Times Square.

In 2022 I do not recommend Yotel, the once shiny and modern tower hotel.

It's quite modern with not much personal service.

The hotel is very futuristic with the cabins and modern rooms that are meant to be like a pod.

We had to switch rooms because the first one was so bad and the second was not much better.

but again just said it was because of the way our room was.

There was no room to move us so we were stuck.

Please note you also had to swap lifts, so after 2 set of lifts and a corridor to get to your room.

We found check in receptionists were not too welcoming and gave very little detail of how to find rooms, seemed more interested in making sure you paid taxes..you have to go up to 4th floor turn right and go up in another lift. Men on front desk (concierge?)

So room to swing a cat man it was horrible especially as friends maybe better for young folks and couples!

bits of edging missing etc, and finally there was no refrigerator in the room.

Our room key wouldnt work, this happened at least 5 times and counting and showed little guilt or sympathy with us.

my room was pretty clean + not as bad like yeah was it a bit old?

but didn’t note what room we were in (even though I told her).

Room had a hole in the corner by the desk.

the hotel is located central of city .but the room is small and uncomfortable.its not for family tavellers .otherwise everypopint in central is step away from hotel .dining shoping etc.the mail bus setation is fust one block behind.

but a little underwhelmed with equipment in the room.

Misleading Advertising: I was left disillusioned upon seeing the room I was assigned.

but the rooms are small and when the bed doesn't move into a couch it becomes even smaller.

There are no ice buckets in the rooms because, we’ll, the rooms are that small.

We know that Yotels business is in small rooms, so the size was fine with us.

Visiting New York on my own for the first time, I was looking for a small room with the bare minimum (bed, toilet and space for bags).

Room might be a little small for two people.

Rooms to small - bed, sink, toilet, shower all in one room.

but when we first got through the door, we thought is a joke, as first thing after you open the door is a bed ^^ very small room, at least for Premium Queen.

The rooms are so small and you can hear everyone outside at all hours

View overlooked the west side of the city which was nice.

but cleaned every day a lovely view of the city and hudson river , really comfy bed which is exactly what i needed after exploring new york and every member of staff i came across was wonderfully friendly and helpful and i booked late check out for a very reasonable rate ,  would 100% stay again

(I am one of those people) nice views and good bed that’s about the plus side-will not be back there ever!! !

We were up on the 26th floor, great views of Empire State Building, that was a surprise.

The shower was great and we had a fab view of the city.

Ended up getting upgraded to a corner suite on the top floor and the view was amazing!

We had a great view of the Empire State Building.

The view from our room was AMAZING to wake up to each day.

We were on the 14th floor with great views being a corner unit.

Will definitely stay here again, nothing was a problem, only busy at breakfast times.

Breakfast was fine at the times I went-7.30 and 8.45 ish.

We had tickets to see Kelly and Mark in the morning and had to leave early and we couldn’t even get through the buffet line before that.

Ideally situated, hotel was clean, comfortable rooms with excellent views, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast buffet which is a great start to a long day - would highly recommend!!

The buffet breakfast was more than reasonable, with multiple choice of both food and drink (repeated each day).

Everything was good from breakfast to sleeping to location.

The breakfast was superb with everything you could wish for.

Breakfast included which is great to start the morning without thinking where to eat.

The breakfast was excellent and filled us up until Dinner.

Lovely breakfast in the main (pancakes and waffles were a bit soft) and enough choice to not get bored.

The highlight of the day was the included breakfast that meant that we were well fuelled each morning and were able to grab just a snack when out saving time and money

The breakfast was ok, given the plethora of nationalities that they are catering for.

Our room was made up every day and breakfast was the best all in all we could not have asked for anything better….

The breakfast was also great with lots of choice and separate gluten free options, the chef was really friendly and happy to show me around the choices I had, even offering me separate gluten free bread and a muffin.
