The Conrad Hilton downtown is in a great location.

I read a lot of reviews for both the downtown and midtown NY Hilton Conrad.

Good choice for families looking for an upscale property downtown!

The hotel is convenient for downtown, financial district, etc.

The Conrad downtown is adjacent to the 911 memorial and many new downtown amenities, shopping, and restaurants.

I am really glad I chose the Conrad Downtown.

It's downtown so not all the horns and sounds yet close to shopping, the Memorial, Battary Park and Wall Street great restaurants and bars, as well as the river.

Great location in cold weather because there is easy access to indoor shopping malls and transportation.

The location is great with easy access to bikes right out front, the WTC and subway are a 5 mins walk.

The hotel is in easy reach of the lower Manhattan sights and great as a base for our family break.

It had easy access to the subway and was a quick 15 minute train ride to the Broadway shows.

The room sizes are generous which is rare in Manhattan, and you'll have easy access to great shopping and you're right under One World Trade.

Really liked the placement and easy accessibility of the safe in a drawer to store valuables. The gentleman who escorted us to our room with luggage at check in (Hu?)

They have valet parking or you can park your car yourself in the same lot about a 3 minute walk from the hotel.

The park along the river by the hotel is gorgeous.

I love Battery Park and the stunning waterfront view.

This is a sleek, modern and spacious hotel in Battery Park.

The location was just what we were looking for- walking distance to Battery park, Brooklyn Bridge, and just down the street from the World Trade Center.

We finally got to go to the Loopy Doopy rooftop bar which was quite nice, we also went to the new park on the Hudson river Morris, who I highlighted in a review six years ago, is still heading up the Valets and his welcome is better than the welcome I get from my own family!

It’s near the WTC memorial, Brookfield Place (Gucci, Ferragamo, Louis Vuitton etc) China Town, Battery Park.

Don't look further if you are staying in the financial district/lower Manhattan/Battery Park area.

but the Conrad in Battery Park keeps up, pedaling faster as trends come and go.

The Conrad is in the middle of beautiful Battery Park, with close access to the WTC, the Oculus (mall), bike and walking paths, and a ferry terminal.

Nice park across the street and what a view.

If you needed some fresh air, Rockefeller Park/Battery Park Esplanade was literally a minute away.

We move to Battery Park to take in sights in this area.

but we enjoyed walking up and the use of the water taxi from Battery Park.

I stayed at Park Hyatt New York and it was quite nice.

The security staff did call twice to check up on my husband's health.

Want to do a call out to manager Chris, who helped resolve an irritating situation.

Rather than call down again I surmised I would hold my nose and flush the toilet.

Tried to pick up the hotel phone to call for help, you guessed it, all the phones in the hotel are down.

I don't have time to call and deal with it.

Could not order room service - tried for over 20 minutes, several calls, and nobody could help me get an order in.

It took another 4 calls and another 1/2 hour before the issue was resolved.

Awful Awful experience, the operators take ages to pick up the phone , as a Diamond member we never got a long term rate!

..5 calls and 30 mins later it’s brought up.

If they couldn’t reach me in room, they’d call my cellphone or text which became a bit much sometimes.

In-Room Dining was even able to be ordered via the Mobile App.

Each day we would come back to impeccably cleaned room, even using little ties to wrap our phone cords.

We arrived at around 1 PM so I was expecting to be told go wander around and we'll call you when your room is ready,

I’m in room 1433 and have dirty carpets, no internet and or telephone connection today.

That's not true- there is a list of sites (e.g., Agoda) they won't compete w/ and you don't know unless you call (which to me, is a shady- if you're going to hate on another site- be transparent).

The manager of the front desk calls me and says they are NOT bed bug bites and they had an external company do an investigation which takes a FEW DAYS for the results to come out.

Since our room wasn't ready, they took my cell number to text once it was.

I was upgraded to a Luxury Corner Suite with views of the beautiful Hudson River on one side, the magnificent Statue of Liberty on the other side, the views from this beautiful suite were breathtaking!

Great stay if you plan on visiting the Statue of Liberty, WTC and the High Line.

Took a walk along the river and saw Statue of Liberty.

My room was upgraded to a corner room with a view of the river and the Statue of Liberty.

The views of The Statue of Liberty and the Hudson River across the street are great.

We were able to take a few tours (Statue of Liberty and WTC Memorial) and we could walk to both places.

You can also walk to the ferry for the Statue of Liberty and that was 25 minutes away, walking time.

The Hudson River Suites provide tremendous views of the River and the Statue of Liberty.

You are walking distance to all 911 Memorials, churches and statue of Liberty.

There's still a lot around the hotel if you explore and handy for visiting Ground Zero, The Statue of Liberty and an amazing new shopping centre, we also frequented the local whole foods market which had everything you could want to eat after a long day exploring New York.

We had lovely cocktails on the rooftop bar, and again being able to see the Statue of Liberty in the distance was a nice touch.

It’s also relatively close to the Staten Island Ferry if you want to cruise past the Statue of Liberty.

It's located perfectly, in Battery Park City, just off the Hudson River, adjacent to the Financial Center/Brookfield Place, and just across the street from the World Trade Center, so it's pretty much in the area of all of Downtown's prime attractions.

It's far enough away from the World Trade Center that you don't hear the tourists visiting that area.

We took walks along the Hudson, enjoyed the Parks in the area, and walked to the World Trade Center, 911 memorial, Brookfield Place, Statin island ferry port, the Financial District/wall street, Brooklyn bridge, and Chinatown.

I love How the hotel is also within close walking distance to the location of the World Trade Center.

It started of with an awesome upgrade to an executive king suite 750sqft on a high floor with a view of world trade center.

The location of the hotel is adjacent to the Hudson River, Brookfield Place shopping center with ample dining and shopping while One World Trade Center is just across the street.

The proximity to various attraction was minutes away “ World Trade Center memorial”, Wall Street, Brooklyn bridge everything is within walking distance.

Its located near the World Trade Center and is convenient to most things in the Chelsea area.

We stopped into the Conrad which is right across from the new World Trade Center/Liberty Plaza for a rest after touring the Battery in NYC.

The location is wonderful with Brookfield Place mall right across the street which connects to the Occulus, Path station, Subway station, World Trade Center buildings.

Very easy to get around from here, and close to the World Trade Center.

The location is awesome neighboring the one World Trade Center and 9/11 memorial along with some decent food options, shake shack located right next to the hotel.

Located downtown near the World Trade Center, Brookfield place mall, and tons of shopping and restaurants.

-The location was great particularly for those who come for Liberty & Ellis Island plus 911 Memorials & One World Trade Center.

Maybe if we knew about this additional charge we would.

The hotel charges a $25 amenity fee which includes a few things, one of which is a $25 food & beverage credit.

The $25 daily non-accumulating credit seems designed to annoy; usable at Bill's, the 20-SKU mini-mart next to the lobby (think only snacks & beverages that were available 1980 or earlier.

It is simply an up charge that must make them feel creative.

Keep in mind that most hotels in NYC will be charging some extra fee, and at least this way you get some of it back!

although there's a destination fee i got it back with being able to charge $25.00 a day to the room.

It resulted in a credit that could be used in Bill’s burgers for a meal, drinks in the executive lounge or items from the small convenience “closet” by the front desk.

but couldn't get in b/c the key card didn't work.

however upon checkout, I was told that I had quite a few internet charges.

In the future, a breakfast credit at the Starbucks in the building would have been nice for Platinum members or to-go bags.

When we arrived, we should our Credit cared and copy of ID

but they give you a food and beverage credit that nearly covers it.

We had a very unfortunate and unpleasant experience over the mandatory destination fee of $25 per day charged on top of the normal room rate.

You also pay a $25 charge which covers wifi and some other stuff

When she arrived, my colleague was told the room I booked she could not have and she had to make a completely new reservation (at double the cost) Not only did they cancel my whole reservation they charged me $623.00.

Your destination fee gives you $25 drink/food credit per day.

Very confusing for staff and for billing at check out.

Went to Downtown @Marriott NYC to visit my brother, who’s on a trip.

I had business downtown so the location was perfect.

If you need to be downtown this hotel is clean and in a good location.

We typically stay at the FS downtown and this was almost as good.

Take my word for it, from one frequent traveler to the next, avoid the Courtyard by Marriott and the New York Downtown Marriott.

Stayed at the downtown Marriott for two nights (weekend), very pleased.

We are frequent visitors to NYC, particularly Battery Park, and decided to use Marriott points to try out the Downtown Marriott.

This time, since we planned to see the 9/11 memorial and battery park, we chose a downtown hotel.

This recently renovated Marriott property is extremely convenient for navigating Manhattan downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.

We were going to focus an entire day on the WTC site, and this hotel is directly across from the site, making access wonderful, as well as giving you access to the financial district and Battery Park City - a great little neighborhood on the Hudson tucked away in downtown with great restaurants and wonderful promenade along the river.

Highly recommend for business travel or if you would like to visit Downtown.

We just stayed at Marriott NYC downtown for 10 nights ad it was fantastic!

I’ve never stayed Downtown before and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it, I’ve always stayed Uptown- Times Square or Upper East Side.

This was my first trip to the Downtown Marriott - I had avoided in past as it had not received the best reviews from colleagues.

The location is great, within walking distance from the WTC memorial, and the subway, with some good eating joints nearby & easy access to cabs.

The hotel boasts a wonderful contemporary design and easy access to the wonders of the city, and comes highly recommended!

There is a wide range of subways near by that allow easy access to all of Manhattan as well as easy access to Coney island.when we visited, having a week's MTA subway pass is a must.

I stayed there two weeks ago with the family and we had easy access to all of lower Manhattan and then jumped on the subway and saw all of central New York City.

Easy access to the subway, WTC, Battery Park, shopping and several good restaurants ( Clinton Hall, O’Haras).

Easy access to the Brooklyn Bridge, the Staten Island ferry and only half a block from the World Trade Centre.

They have a 24hr gym and easy access to fantastic running routes.The views from the 37 floor are amazing and the surrounding neighborhood is quiet.

There are plenty of restaurants in the local area and easy access to the New York subway stations within a three block radius.

It is an easy walk to major landmarks so you won't need a taxi if you are going to Battery Park, the 9-11 Memorial, One World Trade Center, or other things in the area.

You have to park in a garage across the way.

Believe it or not, I was able to park our big SUV on the street for free the entire weekend and it was easier to find parking spaces than it was to get an ice bucket at the Marriott.

Right across from Brookfield Place and Battery Park City there was plenty of stores and restaurants nearby that were open and serving.

180 degree views of Battery Park as well as the Hudson.

but MANY things left us regretting our stay, wishing we stayed elsewhere 

The location is very nice for seeing World Trade Center, shopping at Century 21, and walking around Battery Park.

If you’re traveling to NYC and/or Battery Park, stay at The Wagner.

The hotel is a short walk to the 9-11 memorial and Battery Park.

The hotel is within walking distance to the Freedom Tower and the WTC Memorial, as well as Battery Park and the Statue of Liberty ferry.

A short walk to Battery Park, excellent dining on the Pier and just around the corner from Wall Street and the iconic bull, the property offers qucik access to the local attractions.

Beautiful views of the water, including the Statue of Liberty.

Our room had a view of the Statue of Liberty which was pretty cool.

Concierge lounge was classic and so nice to look out at the Statue of Liberty while enjoying breakfast.

We were upgraded to a suite for one of our rooms which they connected to our other room so it was basically a whole condo style to ourselves with views of the statue of liberty on one side and the city on the other!

The location is great for Ground Zero, Wall St, and Statue of Liberty and even waking the Brooklyn Bridge.

Room was clean and well maintained, and we even had a view of the Statue of Liberty from our room.

It had great views including the Statue of Liberty and was comfortable.

We had a room on the 32nd floor with a view of the harbor and Statue of Liberty.

We stayed in a 2 double bed on 28th floor with views of The Statue of Liberty.

The views of the Statue of Liberty, Governor’s Island, the harbor and the Hudson River were fantastic.

It's also a great location in downtown Manhattan (near Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty).

Being able to wake up and see the Statue of Liberty from your bed is pretty amazing.

The location is great for 9/11 memorial and for the excursion to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

It was in close proximity to the 911 Memorial,  Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island and if you other museums that we did not get an opportunity to visit.

Nice hotel in a nice area, with the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge nearby.

He upgraded us to a high floor room with a view of the Statue of Liberty and gave us the rollaway bed for free.

Just a couple minute walk away from the World Trade Center and Oculus subway stop.

The property is easily reach by public transit (1 train to Rectory), right next to the World Trade Center.
