but don’t want to stay in the city this is the perfect choice.

I had just assumed the level of service and the hotel rooms were just part of the experience of being in a sought after big city.

We had a spacious King City View on our recent 9/12/21 - 9/14/21 stay.

I booked a City View King Sized room for my Wife's birthday on Friday 11-6-2020;  checked in before 4pm for one day as she wanted a hotel getaway from NYC with a nice panoramic view and close to the Harbor.

Parking was  much more convenient that in the city.

This made getting to the city very convenient and fast.

Perfect location within walking distance of the entire city of hoboken bars and restaurants galore.

Great location if you are looking to be close to the city.

Fantastic views of the city and the ferry is conveniently situated close to the hotel.

The hotel is located right by a bus stop & the harbor so it was super convenient to get right into the city.

Very comfortable room with a gorgeous view of the city.

Room was large and clean and had a view across to the city, club lounge

This location was great with the ferry over to the city and a couple of eateries nearby for supper.

It really is a good location with great city views, and probably one of the more affordable and convenient accommodations in that area.

The area was nice and quiet no sirens or city noises that you would experience if you stay in NYC.

The front desk mentioned my room wasn’t ready (I had gotten a partial city view room).

It did have comfortable beds and a nice city view.

Overall, this is a decent place as you can get the best NYC city view including watching July 4th fireworks show and avoid the noise as it is across the river of Manhattan.

Room was spacious, with a great view of the city - the kind of setting that calls for breakfast in bed!

Overall everything was pretty good the views of the city skyline are like a picture postcard and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

I got this reservation early and got a beautiful city view.

Staying in Weehawken is a nice break from the City and the views are magnificent.

We booked 4 City View rooms and one Executive Suite City View with a conference table to use for our meeting.

To save money, and get a fantastic view of the city, I chose this hotel.

The fitness center is clean and has modern equipment.

Ample-sized room, clean, bathroom standard, reasonably sized.

As for our hotel room, it was spacious and clean.

I was impressed by the cleanliness, and the feeling of comfort as soon as we walked in.

The rooms were a good size, they looked fairly recently updated and they were clean.

The room was clean and relatively modern.

Everything in the hotel was clean as I always find Marriott brands to be.

It was in STARK contrast to our stay 9/9/21 - 9/12/21 at a downtown DC Marriott near Metro Center which was clean, with friendly impeccable service, masking required, a cheap and efficient Starbucks in the lobby, etc.

At the end we were charged an extra $200 approx for 'incidentals' which were not shown on the receipt/booking confirmation

Apparently the Sheraton charges $50 to your credit card at time of check in.

I was charged after telling me I had NO reservations under my name.

They had $4 water bottles in the room and charged $25 to park in an empty uncovered lot.

even though they'd always waived the parking charge in the past, I called to speak with a manager.

Even as a member of Marriot BonVoy club they would not put my points on my card because it was booked through Booking.com and not direct!

This is the first hotel I've ever stayed in where guests are charged to use the wifi.

They freely add whatever they like to your debit or credit card!

Here's what I noticed:

No usb charging near bed, just an old lamp with an old socket (two,) 

The refrigerator was a tiny college dorm style type and was on the floor for some reason and was unplugged and smelled king of bad. There was a stain on the couch which was red (I HOPE it was wine.)

There is a $25 charge for parking if you come by car.

but since you just checked me in and took my credit card info, maybe you can figure it out while you are getting me a room where I won't have  a roommate."

Arrived around 4:00 am and found out they charge for parking $25.00.

I think that they pay about $120 per room and it’s not even worth that so to pay the two or $300 that they charge individuals is a big mistake.

The breakfast was horrible for the amount being charged.

Our only major complaint is that, neither on check-in nor via announcement in our room, were we made aware of a Green program wherein you can choose to forego maid service on one or more days and receive, in exchange, credit on your bill.

Parking is available for $25 a day, a far cry from the excessive $60 a day and plus parking in NYC if you find a parking spot at all.The hotel charges for WI-FI, a very unpopular practice with the guests (Suggestion: zero   negotiate this charge before reserving the room).

My parents CC was charged for the room, because someone at the Front Desk demanded that they would not be given a room unless they supplied a credit card and ID.

Swipe your key card and choose your floor — no movement.

We were charged a deposit equal to one night, one week before our check in because the hotel was sold out the night of our check in.

They charged for amenities other hotel have, charge for wifi, for parking, room was tiny for a king suite.

Location is excellent, hop on a ferry outside the hotel and you are in Midtown in 10-12 minutes.

We stayed here for New York Comic Con and were so happy with our location.

The location of the hotel is close to additional restaurants in the area and a Whole Foods for snacks and etc.

although this is a great location to conveniently travel to NYC with the ferry literally steps away, I just can't reccomend staying here if you have other options or you just really love the convenience.

The hotel itself is situated perfectly, looking over at Manhattan,

Right outside is the ferry to take you into Manhattan.

What was unique was an outstanding view of Manhattan.

All that aside it is in a good position with water taxis to Manhattan Mid town and down town from just out front and about 15 mins around the short walkway to the right.

The hotel is located right on the Hudson River with amazing views of Manhattan.

We loved the ease of transport to Manhattan (the ferry adjacent to the hotel or the No 158 bus to the Port Authority bus station).

Had we stayed in New York we would never have got the amazing views if Manhattan.

Location is prime, the ferry right outside the hotel takes you to Manhattan in just 6mins for 18.50$ US round trip.

You also have a ferry that leaves every 15 minutes to Manhattan right outside the Hotel.

In terms of location, there is a ferry port right outside the hotel which takes you across the Hudson into Manhattan every 15/20 minutes.

The Sheraton is close to bus stops which facilitates excursions to Manhattan.

The beds are comfy and the hotel is next to ferry which only takes 6 mins to reach central Manhattan.

The attached restaurant was reasonable, just outside the front door of the Hotel there is a water taxi to Manhattan, on a good weather day the ride is pleasant and short.

One is the stellar views of the Manhattan skylight in all it's glory.

The view towards Manhattan is spectacular at night as the hotel’s location is perfect for that.

It had plenty of parking and there was a Ferry Service just outside the front doors for only $9 each way that would take you to Manhattan in only 6 minutes.

The room was clean and fresh, the bathroom did not have any mold and our view of the Manhattan skyline was spectacular.

We had stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.

The view is simply wonderful with Manhattan skyline and the sun in a dramatic view.

This Sheraton has a lovely view of Lincoln Harbor and the Manhattan skyline.

It’s super convenient to the ferry that drops you at 39th street, and the sunset views of the Manhattan skyline were brilliant.

We enjoyed a basic breakfast each day, drinking coffee and eating bagels with the best view ever of the Manhattan skyline.

And the best thing - the glorious panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, available from virtually any of the bedrooms.

My room is facing to the river, u can see the manhattan skyline from the window.

though as the Manhattan skyline was still there for us to see and marvel at.

though we were facing a building, we could still see the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline.

It was spectacular and we had a full 180° view of the Manhattan skyline.

Great place to stay with fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline and great transport links using either ferry(10mins) or bus to 40th street(15mins).

We had a wonderful room facing the Hudson River and the Manhattan Skyline.

We were greeted by a friendly front desk crew (especially Christina); our room was upgraded to provide with an amazing million dollar view of the Manhattan skyline.

I had a great view of the Manhattan skyline, which I’ll honestly admit I spent a fair amount of time standing at my window, staring at it.

Our room had a nice view of the Manhattan skyline as well as many electrical outlets and 2 flat screen TVs.

The view across the water to the Manhattan skyline is fantastic.

It has an extraordinary Manhattan skyline view, including Hudson River specially in the afternoon.

As a member of Starwood Hotels' preferred guest program, our room was on a top floor and had a very nice view of the Manhattan skyline.

There was no fridge and we had to call reception to get enough towels and water for the three of us.

No explanation how the lamp, telephone, heating system or automatic airco works on a paper dear manager.

In fact, the reservations line told me "We're busy -- can you call back later," and after sending an email to the hotel manager, they didn't even respect me enough to send a response.

I don’t care that they are not offering it, don’t have a piece of paper in the room saying you do, and answer the guest services phone.

i will be calling HR about this because this is unprofessional and very poor hospitality from this hotel.

She said she would call the cops on me if I don't leave.

My husband emailed the front desk again to complain that it took 3 calls and 2 emails to correct the issue.

General MGR is never available and two employees by the name of
Tatiana and Carmen are tasteless, poor customer service skills, never answer the phones, hang up on customers to avoid helping them
With any issues and concerns.

I informed the person behind the desk that no one notified me and that I’ve made the reservation over the phone while I was driving on my way there and he didn’t care so I ended up canceling one night.

but was told that there were no more King rooms with a view available, and they'd call if a room became available.

And I specifically made sure anything happens they should call me, so they just forgot 10min after? 2.

I was notified via email at 2am, followed by a phone call the following AM.

Front desk is not the friendliest from the first phone call today up to check in.

These did NOT work either, of course i am furious and call him back on the hotel phone by the elevators to explain: he abuptly hangs up the phone without saying what he’s going to do( a second display of poor manners).

⚫Drinks vending machine broken on my floor, took my money

When I tried calling the hotel operator from the room phone or from the outside, the phone would just ring and ring — sometimes for what seemed like 50-75 rings or more — which is totally unacceptable especially in the event of an emergency.

I usually just tether on my cell phone when hotels require you to pay for wifi as tethering often costs less than $10 a day for wifi. Negatives?

Room service never turned up: restaurant never answer phone.

No free wifi, you could pay $10 a night for wifi in the room, it was cheaper for me to just turn on my roaming data on my phone and pay £5 a day for all usage of my phone whilst in the US.

Okay I own a buisness and if you use and of these venders or use groupon you get a lot less then listed so I don't like using so I call to give you your full cut just give me the discount not that hard.

We love the view of the harbor from the room.

I had a "partial view room" which had a fantastic view to lower Manhattan.

The view from rooms (if you get a good one) can be really nice.

The view I had from my room was excellent.

The rooms had views across the harbor, good air conditioning and heating, comfortable beds, a nice tv, decently sized bathrooms.

They truly made it easier for us by being accommodating and kind.

We checked in very late due to a late flight and we appreciated someone being at the front desk at 3AM to greet us.

A special comment to the kindness of the whole troop, specially for Jonathan who help us a lot with every requirement (thank you Jonathan! ).

The wonen at the desk are also  friendly and understanding.

The staff is very attentive and helpful, and especially the two girls at the front desk, Nancy, the kindest person in the world, and Venus, the lady with the best smile in New Jersey.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of November and I cannot wait to return--mainly because of how great the staff were.

The staff was extremely friendly and professional.

Mateo at the front desk was welcoming,  kind,  and helpful.

The housekeeping is beyond friendly and helpful.

Staff accorded us a second, much quieter room/location (1027) which actually was larger and more accommodating.

I had an amazing stay at the Standard for my 30th birthday.

I came here for my birthday and my check in alone made my whole experience worth it at the standard.

Wife birthday they up grade the room when we got there early check in view from room was fantastic.

Being Dutch we used the bikes for 3 days and loved cycling around the city.
