Its a beautiful older building with art deco features and attractive interior housing several other businesses alongside the hotel.

The best supermarket in the area is right under the building -
11 Acres, offering great variety of products and pretty good prices.

HUGE rooms (bigger than an nyc apt), Malin & Gotez amenities, gorgeous historic building - made my business trip feel like a vacation. Rob (I think a manager?)

I’ll be back next week to have Thanksgiving with my son who lives in the building.

With a Michelin star restaurant downstairs, trendy coffee shop and a short walk to the East River with the Tin Building, this location and spacious, quiet and luxurious accommodation was a real find.

Spacious rooms, and upgrade if possible to have even more space - Its so cool, sometimes you don't want to leave the apartment with the awesome Black Fox and Crown Shy in the same building - Wicked awesome gym too!

Staying in this magnificant and beautiful building at a very good location in the financial district , with Wallstreet just around the corner , engulfed us with the "right" atmosphere to experience the real NY fealing.

There’s also a wonderful grocery store in the building as well.

There is a fitness center, and a coffee house in the building.

Definitely gives the vibe of a multi use building with shared working offices.

There are a number of restaurants in and near the building, as well as a marvelous food market.

The building is in a great location with a ton of amenities close by.

Plenty of food options nearby, including small supermarket in the same building around the corner and a coffee bar on the ground floor.

For all you John Wick fans, was able to experience the CONTINENTAL building and the internal vibe inside the building, 2 blocks from the Mint House.

Especially worth it for extended stays, as there is a washer/dryer, kitchen, and a full market/grocery store in the building.

High floors also probbaly have nice views - our view was another building and scaffolding.

The building is clean and well maintained.

It is in one of the most beautiful buildings and is within walking distance of the Seaport, The tin building and the 9/11 memorial.

The full supermarket in the basement helped us save money by getting snacks and breakfast and the excellent Black Fox coffee shop in the lobby of this amazing Art Deco building helped start each day right.

Nice and big rooms everything you could need in the kitchen and a bath too very good it’s just by Wall Street so plenty of trains a moment away 2 min walk to the 9/11 memorial coffee shop right next door for breakfast

The location had plenty of resources including a mini mart in the basement, a fitness facility, and one of the best coffee shops in NY (try the expresso seltzer).

Just downstairs there is a superb grocery store with everything you can need and more, including fantastic freshly-cooked pizza and you also have handy access to a brilliant coffee shop as well as popular high-end restaurants above your head.

Great 3 night stay for team meeting with a ton of convenient options including a gym, bowling, golf, coffee shop, 2 nice restaurants and a full market right in your building!

The building amenities are also excellent, including an on-site market, upscale restaurant, coffee shop, and cafe.

I was able to make a great cup of coffee from the comfort of my room and also able to grab a great coffee to go from an amazing coffee shop downstairs.

The building is under construction so tricky to get in.

We didn't like the floor of the apartment (3rd floor) too close to street level and therefore subject to noise from the street and nearby construction sites, the exposure of the room with little light and no possibility of seeing anything other than a building in renovation, the noise of the refrigerator, dishwasher and air conditioners.

Otherwise terrific, spacious accommodations were ruined by construction noise through the night.

If construction is occurring and your stay is over Mon - Fri…you have been warned.

At night it was noisy due to garbage collection and night construction.

The only thing I have to complain about was the late night noise coming from the construction near the residence (NYC was littered with construction everywhere anyway).

Tip: There is a lot of construction on the subway lines to this area, especially on the weekends.

During the first night I discovered that there is construction work going on out on the street right next to the hotel that involves drilling into asphalt and other raucous activities.

The only issues, if I have to list them, would be 1) the pillows are a tad uncomfortable, 2) there was ongoing noise during the night due to construction on the street below, 3) the breakfasts were monotonous and unsubstantial with only muffins and fruit, and 4) we had a room (412) right in front of the elevator, so the noise from people getting on and off was a bit irksome.

but the construction continued the whole night.

Early in the morning there was quite a bit of noise from delivery lorries and construction traffic on the street outside so we asked if it would be possible to move to a quieter room.

There was construction work taking place somewhere nearby which was going on overnight on weekdays, not the weekend.

The only con right now is the construction noise outside.

The combination of narrow streets and tall buildings in and around Wall Street creates a dark, closed-in effect that is not appealing.

The walls are painted a rather dark gray; one wall is decorated with a black wallpaper, and the lighting is a bit dim.

There were too many switches that you needed switch to get all light on and still it was a little bit dark in the room.

but many people would think it's quite dark and grey.

but it has a separate study area which you could get nice and dark where we put our 3 year old's blow-up bed (a rollaway would have been an extra $75 a night - pricey).

This is an unbelievable place to stay if you want to be near the financial district.

We weren't expecting all the amenities we had like a full kitchen.

Our Mint House suite was the largest room we’ve ever had in NYC including a full kitchen and fully equipped.

We were looking forward to the roomy (for NY rooms) Studio Deluxe and were delighted to be upgraded to an even bigger 2 Bathroom 1 Bedroom with a full kitchen (full size stove, dishwasher and refrigerator) stocked with equipment.

We had a very spacious studio with a full kitchen.

And the full kitchen with stocked appliances was so helpful.

You can't beat booking a hotel room with high ceilings, open layout, a FULL kitchen, beautiful bathroom, and king size bed.

The room was beyond spacious and I loved having access to a full kitchen, walk in closet, etc.

Rooms are huge with cool, comfortable and stylish furnishing plus all the facilities you might need include a full kitchen.

Having a full kitchen would be great for next time I travel to NYC with my kids.

The Mint House concept is perfect for me--you get the boutique hotel vibe that's aligned with where you are, in addition to MUCH more space w/the comforts of home (full kitchen with cookware, etc.).

There is a grocery next door to the hotel and a cafe on the ground floor as well.

The Lyric apartment is immaculately clean, spacious, well stocked with extra towels, robes and chocolate, plus freshly ground coffee and traditional as well as more exotic tea.

There was also a market and coffee shop on the ground floor which were great for those little extras you invariably need..

Reception is easy to find, sign posted and located in an office area in a corner of the ground floor.

There is a lovely food hall/grocery store just down the road and a nice café on the ground floor next door.

The building itself is also really impressive - art deco style with a wonderful little coffee shop/cafe on the ground floor for coffee/breakfast in the morning.

I chose this hotel because I love the beauty of the historical hotel and also the way it’s decorated.

Beekman is a feast for the eyes with antique Parisian decor w very cool modern takes on antique art.

The common areas of the hotel like the atrium feature a classic vibe that we love very much.

The whole gothic style of the place, plus the clear inspiration from classic figures such as Edgar Allan Poe fills is a whole experience worth living.

I did not notice the construction noise complained of by many other reviewers.

We didn’t hear a sound from the street, construction, lobby or adjoining rooms.

Entered the room at 11pm and the loudest most disruptive construction persisted ALL night long.

bad experience - small cramped room - overwhelming noise from construction work - ended at 1 am and started back at 4:30 am.

Despite a few housekeeping issues and construction in the hallway outside our room commencing at 8 am, we had a great time.

Being told I got an upgrade to spend the whole night listening to construction noise did not feel great.

I was concerned with noise given the construction on Nassau street.

The construction on nassau street and the iron slabs on the road are killing the experience throughout the entire night.

There is a lot of construction going on, so if you’re on that side, you will have some external noise during the day.

The other issue has been written about here, which is the construction on Nassau Street, which starts at 6:30am and goes on until 10 at night.

There is a huge construction project across the street on one side of the building and be cause this is a historic hotel, there is no sound proofing.

Lastly, our room was right across the alley from a building undergoing construction and it began at 7 am.

There is construction across the street which made it difficult to sleep.

Bar fights across the street at 2am incredibly loud construction from 6am until early evening and traffic noise at all hours.

We will ask for a room that does not face the construction across the street next time.

They walked us up the street to get a cab when construction blocked the street temporarily.

Verify that the surrounding construction has been completed before booking a stay at the Beekman.
