When I insisted on being overcharged she without saying anything further hang up the phone and did not answer my call after.

Housekeeping staff were very good and we had the room cleaned with fresh towels daily. Checkout wasn't very efficient and I am currently in contact with the hotel in dispute of our bill (we were nearly charged twice for residence tax on checking out and believe we were also charged on checking in, so just be aware of hhis as the checkout staff commented that there was a "glitch in the system".)

It was also quite expensive when you add tips, the city taxes and the additional $45 per night charged by the hotel.

Elevator requires a key card to access your floor as most do in major cities now.

but are in different rooms on different floors their floor number should be put on your card as well so you are able to go see them.

I was promised no charge until clarified with Monika.

What they do is charge you $150 to bring it to a parking garage four blocks away.

Oh, and there are no less than 5 taxes and fees charged per day per room.

The full amount was deducted from our card before we even saw the room.

but we discovered afterwards that they had billed and charged two cards separately anyway, despite assuring us at the time.

Be prepared for the daily charges another tax is added to the city tax !!!

Housekeeping still made the pullout couch bed for us every day and no fee was charged.

We asked if it was charged at all hotels and a NYC law,

In the end I locked my credit card so they couldn’t charge me.

Receptionist’s first words were ‘ I need your credit card for your room’ Hardly a warm welcome.

but still, there was no way I should have been charged for that drink.

The breakfast was given in the form of credit of $25 per day which I utilized at a single time as I stayed for 2 days.

but the $25 credit we received when booking lessoned the blow a little.

On arrival we were gifted with two drinks to visit the rooftop bar and wow what an experience, a modern stylistic bar with great ambiance and a laugher and chat to be heard from all over the rooftop.

It was a pleasant surprise considering most hotels in New York are small and expensive for no reason.

He offered a price of nearly $200 per night or my reservation would be canceled, to which I agreed given I did not have anywhere else to go on the last minute.

The robes definitely need updating as there was rips in one of them and they weren't the softest of materials.

Avoid this place at all costs for the sake of your pockets and your NYC experience.

When we requested a restaurant recommendation, we were automatically given a top end one (dinner that evening cost me $200+ and I've had MUCH better for under $100 (I later learned the hotel is affiliated with a number of restaurants so they will only ever recommend them).

However, the lack of tea/coffee making  and (empty) mini bar facilities made the stay feel more 4 star with a 5 star price tag.

Now the rate is more than double for a decrepit and worn down hotel with poor service.

My only comment was the parking was odd and a bit expensive at 360 for 2 nights.

The buffet breakfast seemed overpriced even for nyc,

At $700 a night I wasn't going to settle for anything less than what I paid for.

I, personally, would have paid an extra 300-400 per night at another hotel if it meant I would get better overall service and what I asked for.

Parking is a little tricky- was given the address of an off-site parking garage, and because I used the QR code at the garage (which was prompted when pulling up to the garage), and because the hotel staff ran out of validation tickets, I ended up having to pay a lot for parking.

Our only "complaint" was that the cocktails were a tad pricey for our budget.

The rooftop bar was a real treat, boasting spectacular city views and a great selection of drinks.

We received 2 comp drinks for the roof top bar and an upgrade to a corner suite.

but the roof top bar and location of the hotel more than make up for this.

We really enjoyed starting our day at the breakfast buffet  and ending it with a drink at the roof top bar.

The overall experience was good, the location at the corner of Times square is absolutely top with a subway entrance just out of the door.

Only reason I am rating four instead of 5 stars is that he room was quite small.

When I first check in  my room wax Terrable  my house man arrive two hours later as I needed him night front desk only one person night house man helpless my bed sheets dirty stains tiny room.

However, the room was very small, with just enough room to walk around the room/beds, no closet (just a freestanding rack), and a pocket door for the bathroom which was difficult and noisy to use.

NY Rooms can be small and the window view is looking at a brick wall.

Although the room was on the small side, it didn't feel cramped.

It was also a very small room with barely enough space to walk around the bed.

I had booked our room not noticing that I had a small room and we were 3 guests.

Selected room (Penthouse) was so noisy because of some noise on the roof that I had to move to a small room facing a wall.

We couldn’t have asked to feel more at home and welcomed than we could with Niko and Meredith.

It was very very clean and the staff was pleasant.

Spent 3 nights at the hotel and all staff made the experience great.

I recently stayed at the Executive Hotel Le Soleil in New York and had an excellent experience.

but what really set the experience apart was the handwritten card Errany had sent to me room, she remembered my name when I entered and exited the hotel making an effort to have a natural and pleasant exchange.

Perfect location and lovely staff especially Sunil Vaswani was  great  guy who made our trip better with lovely advice and hospitality.

Good place if you are runner, very close to central park.

The proximity to Central Park and a variety of Nee York destinations makes it a fabulous place to stay!

Location was perfect - having 4 children and being close to Central Park was great as we started the days by popping to a local Blue Bottle Coffee then for a run in the park!
