Breakfast included which is great to start the morning without thinking where to eat.

The highlight of the day was the included breakfast that meant that we were well fuelled each morning and were able to grab just a snack when out saving time and money

Breakfast buffet is a bonus, if you time it right queuing is minimal and the choice and freshness was excellent.

However, beyond that are several tall glass buildings in the theatre district, very close to Times Square.

Location is great, very close to a lot of landmarks and a block from the subway.

Location:bryant park is down the block as well as times square,broadway and rockefeller center(a few blocks away) . 2.

They have a nice happy hour and also access to a gym a block away.

Just a couple of blocks away from Broadway shows and Time Square (3-5 minute walk max).

Times Square a couple of blocks away yet, peace and quiet awaits in a warm cozy room.

Complementary gym membership a block away was really nice to have too.

but you only had a walk a couple blocks to be close to everything including the Times Square subway station.

The location is perfect - it’s right next to a great bakery for breakfast and coffee every morning, and the subway at the end of the block is one of the best connected in the area.

Located on 41st between Broadway and 6th, there are subway stations (for different lines) on both Broadway and 6th, within a block of 41st.

Location was convenient and close to both Times Square and Broadway.

Located 2 blocks from Times Square (so close enough for a short walk, yet it was quiet).

Bryant park and times square are bouth under one block away from hotel so you would save much traveling time by staying in this hotel.

Everything is walking distance and the train station is just half a block away.

We were one block from a subway station with an elevator, Paris Baguette Bakery on the left, another great bakery on the right, and a CVS around the corner.

Great utilisation of space in room with hooks and storing under the bed and loved the modern shower with two hoses - brilliant - Lovely bar and Italian restaurant and location is perfect for walking everywhere- we will definitely be returning to this hotel next Summer

Luma was a beautiful hotel right at the entrance to byrant Park and times square, a modern hotel with state of the art facilities and every accessory needed from hair dryer to umbrella.

USB and USB-C connection without need to have a travel adapter to charge my phone in the bedside table.

Seemed like we were calling the front desk often for items overlooked by housekeeping.

Our cell phone calls within the room disconnected several times from the 25th floor and hotel’s internet was intermittent and not as fast or reliable as expected.

We needed replenishment of supplies and had to call from my cell phone.

but the woman I spoke with over the phone said no.

The staff was incredibly accommodating--every wish was their command, fulfilled almost before we hung up the phone.

Cleaning wasn’t good every days, I had to call front every days.

They have USB ports to charge your phone so if you were coming from abroad you don’t need to worry bout adapters.

I had to call daily for providig towels, coffee & shampoo.

To plug something in, you have to fill out a form that asks for your name, E-mail and phone number.

Both guys stopped answering my calls and emails.

Hotel staff was exceptional in providing additional linens and pillows as requested, not to mention super-fast delivery of anything we needed when called down to the front desk (like more Nespresso pods, creamer, sugar/splenda, etc). We even needed to call one time to get the toliet unplugged (how embarrassing!)

Another minor inconvenience is, since we stayed in 20th floor, cellular signal was not good, so all the devices, including phones, relied on wi-fi,

20 minutes later I had to call back again and they had somehow forgot to let housekeeping know.

I want to call out - this review is specifically on the double queen rooms only (room 1904).

but when we looked for linens they were nowhere to be found and it took two calls and an hour to finally get them.

I was in and out of communication with him as I was working myself at the time and couldn't use my phone.

Our room was a great size ,very clean, and suprising quiet for NYC.

We also appreciated the super comfortable king size beds!

The reason we chose this hotel was because it was one of the few in NYC that had king size beds.

The room was small which is to be expected in New York.

Although the rooms are a little small and there wasn't much of a view from our room in the back, the location on 41st right at  Bryant Park was so perfect that we only used the rooms for a quick recharge here and there and to sleep the night.

Small rooms especially if for 3 adults once the sofa bed is opened there is no space to pass!

For us - we chose LUMA due to rooms having two king beds, which is unheard of for NYC, as most "double" rooms are usually two full beds in a tiny room.

Though this room is somewhat small just like other NYC rooms- every inch is thoughtfully designed.

It's a big, old hotel, in a great mid-town location, close to Central Park, just across the road from Carnegie Hall, and a stone's throw from Broadway.

Excellent hotel, with a very suitable location at Midtown near Central Park to visit the main points of New York.

The location being so close to Central Park was perfect for lattes and breakfast in the park every morning.

The hotel’s location is superb, right near the subway and near both Central Park and Times Square.

Close proximity to central park gave me to do my evening stroll with green surrounding.

We were charged $174.40 for a ‘destination fee’ for the four night stay we had last week.

My last morning, there was an invoice put through my door for the facility fee.

It’s a con and this hotel charges it so be aware.

After having to stand for over half an hour she eventually reversed the charges.

We was then met by a rude man at the desk who said we must give a credit card holding $600 and then we also have to pay $48 a day for facilities….. do not know that this excludes .

Do not be afraid to do that, the credit card companies are on your side.

Awful experience from start to finish…arrived from uk to the Park Central to check in and the receptionist didn’t even say hello just told us it was $50 early check in fee, the proceeded to charge us another $200 to ‘upgrade’ to a twin room of which I had already booked.

To top it off, when departing they charged a "destination fee" to cover things like WiFi and gym usage.

I had fraudulent charges on my bill and staff was very difficult to work with.

Just a small note and something I am glad I checked before arrival, especially from traveling outside the US, they do charge a facility fee (it comes in handy as it covers wifi and luggage room) on arrival and also a deposit for the room which I believe is $100 a night.

Reception waived the facility fee that they routinely charge to reflect the room issue.

Upon arrival you do have to provide a credit card as a damage waiver is pending during your stay and then at the end they take the cost of the discretionary charge.

On our final night we received the invoice under the door which included a $500 smoking charge.

They charged my card twice by mistake with full amount

They put up balloons and a banner, and left sparkling wine, a little cake and a card!

two employees made the reservation for the dayuse at the counter, charged us on our card and when we returned full of suitcases and with tired children there was no reservation in our name and they were not working.

For a hotel charging the rates they do, and then expect resort fees.on top this is not acceptable.
