 - The bar had great music and drinks and the pool looked great
 - I loved hearing the music play from down Bourbon Street, and we could see the corner from our balcony.

 - Another thing that I hated was that you could hear the workers painting in the hallway having conversations on the phone while they were working early in the morning.

 - French quarter, casino and restaurants in walking distance.
 - We went to NOLA in May for my husband's 50th and stayed at the Doubletree due to its proximity to the casino and Bourbon St. We had a wonderful time.
 - It is right across from Harrah's casino.
 - The location is great you can walk to everything and the Casino is just steps away out the front entrance.

 - I needed assistance in getting around New Orleans, printing boarding passes, mailing a box, etc.
 - This hotel is beautiful, well located, and had everything we needed for a restful place to land after a long day of touring New Orleans.
 - All in all it was a great hotel stay, I’ve been to New Orleans multiple times and this intercontinental is probably in my top 2 nicest hotels in the area.

 - The hotel is next door to the casino, the riverwalk, drago's, ruth chris, and mother's.
 - Nearby is Harrah's casino with parking at $30/day.
 - It’s across the street to the Casino.
 - It is also right next to the casino, and so close to Riverwalk shopping and the riverboats.

 - The amenities were also great as we were able to access the gym and the location of the hotel was fantastic as it was a short walking distance from French Quarter and Warehouse district.

 - The water is hotter than the NOLA humidity, and there is limited control over the cold water.
 - but it's a luxury brand so that's disappointing that no effort made like bottled water in room a map loews use to give welcome gifts back in the day now would be the time to do this to stand apart from competitors bring back the charm.

 - The room was nice and big the bed was very comfortable and having two TVs didn’t hurt watching the Olympic :).
