 - I loved hearing the music play from down Bourbon Street, and we could see the corner from our balcony.
 - The pool looked very inviting last night and the jazz coming from Bourbon O sounded great too.

 - Another thing that I hated was that you could hear the workers painting in the hallway having conversations on the phone while they were working early in the morning.
 - They eventually moved me down the hall to a bigger room that did not have one of these issues

 - We had to track housekeeping down to exchange towels and when we asked for more coffee they gave us a single pod.

 - There was hardly any pool cleaning, a film on the surface of the water and a dirty thick ring around the inside of the water line was visible all 4 days of our stay.

 - It's close to the river, to tour pickups, and Bourbon Street is only about 2 or 3 blocks away.

 - It did not look very clean, carpet was filthy, shower looked dirty.
 - The bathroom fan is corroded with dirt and the shower curtain is visibly soiled and has mildew across the entire bottom.
 - The floors were uneven, the halls were tiny, the carpet was worn, and the shower, while it had good water pressure, had visible mildew.
 - but many guests utilized it to smoke, so we chose not to relax at any of the tables to avoid the smell.
 - Cold air only came out of half of the air conditioner, the air conditioner was also filthy with no cover and lots of dirty build-up.

 - Rooms were nicely decorated, the room was smaller than most hotels I have stayed in and little dark, so could use some better lighting if you are needing to work from the room for a little bit.
 - Even with all the lights on, we couldn't see much.

 - but only one switch, so the fan (VERY loud) is on any time the light is on, and it takes a while to get rid of any humidity.

 - The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and efficient. .
