The hotel is next to the bus stop, from where you can easily get to the Glacier.

If you use the bus a stop is just outside.

Facilities for storing skis were excellent, with a ski hire shop next door and the bus stop to the slopes just outside.

The hotel is excellently placed being right next to bus stops in both directions and a 5 to 10 minute walk from the gondola lift and the town centre.

Very convenient with the bus stop within 50 meters. Recommended.

The hotel is ideally situated just 5 minutes from the nearest mountain lift and.2 minutes from the bus stops.

The hotel is close to the bus stops for the Stubaier Gletscher and Schlick 2000 ski areas, and there is a ski hire shop right next door.

It is about a 1 minute walk from the bus stop and it is one of the first bus stops on the route to the glacier so you always get a place to sit (and the bust gets PACKED).

It is conveniently situated next to the public ski bus stop to Stubaier Gletscher resort and within easy walking distant to the central Neustift shops.

Highest quality of food, good location (2 walking minutes to the bus stop, next to the hotel we found ski /service shop, for which we got 10% discount from the hotel).

The Elfer lift station and the ski bus stops to Schlick 2000 and the Stubai Glacier are a short, level walk from the accommodation.

Wealth of fantastic walks in valley and surrounding mountains with easy transport links from bus stop outside of hotel - again, staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

Ski bus stop and ski rental shop are just a few steps away.

Hotel location is very good with ski shop and bus stop at side of hotel, we all had a fantastic time and also it is very good value for the quality you get!

but still just 500 yards from ski shops, restaurants and the bus stop up to the glacier.

The Elfer lift station and the ski bus stops to Schlick 2000 and the Stubai Glacier are a short, level walk from the accommodation (this proves we did actually ski, in addition to all that eating and lounging in the spa!).

Location:  30 meters from the ski bus stop.

If you are skiing, the ski bus stops 20m from the hotel entrance, so it is better than going uphill with your car.

but time it right, and with the bus stops just outside the hotel, I didn't find it a real problem.

The Stubai Super Card provided by the hotel allowed free travel on the local buses in the local area and to Innsbruck, free use of the local mountain lifts and free access to local facilities was a significant saving and encouraged you to travel about the local area and explore the walking opportunities.

Location - a 3 min walk from the bus stop - a short 10 min bus ride to the central bubble lift.

The staff clearly know the area well and can offer good advice on things to do and there is the advantage in the summer of a free "Super Stubai" card which means that all lifts and transport in the area is free.

Access to the walks and climbs is very easy, with lifts and buses at the door.

The staff helped us with getting lift passes and pointed us in the direction of the hire shop to get our ski gear.

It included a daily ride up and down the nearby Elfer lift and the 3 other lifts in the valley.

For all seasons, there's a lift to launch and a paragliding landing field just across the street.

Hotel itself is very beautiful decorated, service was very good, swimming pool and relaxation area very tempting every day.Close to the shops, ice ring and Elfer lift.

It is also across the street from, and a 3 minute walk to, the Elfer ski lift.

That said, an early breakfast followed by a 20 minute drive still got us to the base of the mountain in time for the first lift of the day.

Spent 5 nights at Der Stubaierhof with family and friends for a long awaited ski trip. Despite the beautiful weather and snow, I would have been just as happy staying in the hotel all week - the staff were very friendly and attentive, rooms were spotless and well appointed, the spa/pool and wellness area were fabulous (try the hay beds!)

Facts: the rooms are spotless, the showers are hot and have great pressure, the desk service is impeccable and very friendly, the sauna/pool areas are clean and inviting, and  the breakfast is immense- worth waking up to enjoy!

The room is large and very clean, they pay attention to every detail, the spa is very good and includes a selection of several types of sauna, the spa has an indoor and heated pool, they also give the guests a card that entitles you to enter all the attractions in the area and includes access to the cable .

but the spa / pool / afternoon tea made it a really luxurious holiday and nothing was too much trouble.

The pool & Spa area is of high standard and generous space, providing small snacks and drinks.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's planning a trip to Neustift, the Stubai Glacier or the local area.

The food is just awesome, very clean rooms, quite (just the bells of the nearby church), amazing new sauna area with 3 saunas and the cutest ever relaxing room full of wood elements and super comfy lying chairs.

The food is amazing and relaxing in the Sauna area after a long day is priceless.

I especially liked their newly-renovated wellness area, where it was wonderful to relax after a day of skiing on the glacier.

Neustift is a lovely village with shops, bars and hotels.

Socializing with guests from around the world in the cozy hotel bar at night and listening to their own stories of why they have been visiting this particular part of Austria and staying in this special hotel has been a memorable experience.

The restaurant and bar are frequented by locals, which is a very good sign.

There is also lots of bars around the hotel as well as the ski hire shop which makes things really easy.

We had a lovely stay in Der hoferwirt.The staff were very friendly and helpful.We found the traditionally decorated rooms clean,comfortable and cosy.This hotel was a great base for visiting the Stubai Glacier with the ski bus stop only about 50m from the hotel.Overall we found it to be fantastic value for money and  would love to come back,

the only (minor) problems we faces were that the heating was a bit too high and, for our Italian standards, the pillow were not so comfortable (too flat).

My only issue was that it had no aircon so with the high temperatures under the roof I found sleeping tough as you had to have the windows closed to keep out the morning road noise.

We stayed in a really small room with the only natural light / ventilation being a velux window over the bed.

My only minor criticism was that the rooms didn't have air conditioning, it was very warm at night even with the door open and the hotel bikes were in need of some T.L.C.

We loved having the super card for the buses and cable cars (there's even one going up that is walking distance from the hotel).

Situated in the middle of the valley close to a very small area, you can take a bus to Schlick2000 or Stubaital Glacier.

All the hotel staff were helpful,friendly and efficient with particular note being made of the first rate dining staff - David you were very helpful - and are a credit to the hotel.

If you wish to explore the valley the bus stop is quite close

It is located just a 5 minute walk from the village and very close to the cable car and local bus services (only 15 minutes to a  Wild Water walk of spectacular waterfalls).

If you take a bus, suggest you make use of the ski depot at the lift station so you needed trudge there in your ski boots and lug your skis.

Half an hour bus ride to glacier just outside the hotel.

P.S I would also like to add when you stay in the Active hotel bergkonig you get the Stubi valley card which enables you to travel on all the valley buses, use the lifts in the whole of the valley and the tram from fulpmes to Innsbruck for "FREE" + other discounts

Easy parking, great team to help you, on the front desk with info about hikes, lifts, busses and whatever you want.

The location of the hotel is perfect - in a quiet side street close to the main village and about a 5 minute walk away from the main bus route, and local cable car (to Elfer Mountain).

Hotel location is very good with excellent views to the mountains and valley located within a few minutes of Neustift and close to the very useful bus stops.

Good bus service and cable car only a short walk away.

The Stubai Super Card provided by the hotel is a great attraction, as it paid for all our bus journeys up and down the valley, as well as the four Gondolabahn lifts.

For ski holiday the bus stopped just 5 minutes walk away and took 30 mins to get up to the lift area.

Close to the public transportation (buss) that, free of charge bring you to the skiing area ( 15-40 minutes drive) , small town with good restaurant.

The Elfer cable car is 5 mins walk from the hotel and reliable buses take you both up and down the valley to access a number of other cable cars as well as Innsbruck.

The hotel is easy to reach by bus from Innsbruck if you're not driving.

Overall we enjoyed our stay the area is beautiful and cable cars and bus service excellent.

Rooms spotlessly clean, it was a little odd to have the housekeeping team almost waiting outside your rooms in the mornings so they could clean your room whilst you were at breakfast.

Rooms were clean and with excellent standards of towels, together with bath towels etc for the swimming pools.

Our room was kept very clean and had a modern bathroom, so no complaints here.

House-keeping kept the room spotless and neat.

The hotel is an excellent base for the nearby winter sports and it was perfect to be able to come back to such a modern well designed spa after a day on the slopes.

- great afternoon snak bridging breakfast and dinner (almost like an allonclusive hotel)

The hotel has a fantastic indoor pool and spa, and the outdoor pool is a godsend when the weather is hot.

The spa is lovely (be aware, ladies, your treatments and massages are given by a lovely male masseur).

Finally there is Andreas – their in house masseuse who is a native of Innsbruck and a true gem of a therapist.

The room was excellent and we absolutely loved the spa area.

Enjoyed the food and the Spa as well as a surprise free room upgrade since they just happened to have a larger room available.

The pool and spa facilities were absolutely amazing all in all I can't recommend this hotel enough we will definitely be back next year.

A very comfortable spa area, especially in the new wing, exclusively for adults.

Thay have also fantastic roof top sauna and swimming pool with warm water for kids and adults.

The really excellent thing is the new (I think not older than 3-4 years) adult wellness area in the tower - nice Finnish sauna with big windows, jacuzzi, and big relaxation room with comfy beds.

Excellent wellness area - the "adults only" part.

An added bonus with this hotel is the swimming pool, whirlpools, saunas and adult Wellness centre - a nice place to relax after a hard day's walking!

The Spa was breathtaking - beautiful designed panorama-spa, luckily for adults only.

The new adult spa is just a sauna with a nice quiet room.

They better call the area "stair cases zone" instead of "swimming pool".

but then there are 7-8 steps up to reception; difficult with a heavy suitcase.

We found on the last day of our 4 day visit the Bauern Butter rancid, the salad "bag fresh/crisp", The 5 fruit muesli was absent for the length of our stay and the cheese board for breakfast was the same for dinner.

The host are taking care of everything, the rooms are clean, well dimensioned and balanced heated.

We had a gorgeous view of the mountains from our room and everything was very clean and comfortable.

There is also a shuttle van to take you to ski area.

We did not used the ski shuttle provided for free by the hotel.

We enjoyed every minute in this hotel, with great service, good food, clean, good facilities, shuttle service to ski areas.

The hotel arranged for a private pick up from Innsbruck airport and a regular shuttle to the Stubai Glacier - this was all very welcome.

There were ski buses that ran regularly to both, as well as a hotel shuttle.

The swimming pool and the sauna facilities with Jacuzzi and relaxation rooms are perfect for recuperation after a day of skiing, reading or listening music at headphones.

Heartily recommended if you are coming for skiing or just enjoying the breathtaking scenery.

All in all, good hotel, recommendable for a short glacier skiing trip.

but repititive salad buffet, well cooked but not enough tasting dishes.But was not our main objective thus finally highly appreciated our stay and thank's to the private drivers that drove us (and back) almost every day to the skiing area!

The most beutifull is new saun area with pool and silence room,just excellent place to relax after skiing.

We loved our stay here, the food was excellent and the strudel in the afternoon so delicious that we enjoyed it every single day after our skiing trips at Gletscher and Schlick.

The hotel itself is close to two skiing areas: Stubai and Schlick.
