In a very busy business district near the beach which gave us lots of eating options

I have only high praise for this hotel, right on the main square, near the beach.

the room was pretty new and really comfortable,  location is great, just near to the beach, the breakfast was nice

The hotel is well located close to the beach, facing the main square and close to many restaurants, some open Friday night.

Amazing location right on the main midrachov (outdoor square/plaza) with lots of yummy kosher food and interesting shops (Netanaya is not the most architecturally pleasing city..) and also close to the beach.

Perfect location - a minute walk from all the restaurants, the beach and close to central station.

Overall pretty good and given the chance we would probably stay here again, its convenient for the city centre, has a car park and is very close to the beach

The hotel has a great central location close to the beach, the promenade and Independence Square which is home to restaurants, shops and evening entertainment.

The best part of the hotel was the proximity to the beach.

It is located close to the beach, right in the center of Netanya, and the workers is very polite and helpful.

A very very good breakfast with fresh eggs and coffee :)

The hotel is located in the best place in Netanya, in Haatzmauth Square and very close to the beach.

In the heart of the city, very close to the beach.

The beach (and the elevator down to it) is a five minute walk. There isn't on-site parking (not that you'll need a car!)

The hotel also has a major parking problem in that there is no parking lot, so you have to drive around the neighborhood searching for parking and then have to move your car by 9 am to avoid a ticket.

The only negative pointis the parking which is very difficult.

Also not very convenient parking position.

The room key/card was supposed to be coded to open the parking lot gate

Only two things that bothered me about the hotel: no parking and the elevators that are small and few which you better use the stairs.

The bad: there is no parking and no parking arrangements.

I didnt know where to park my car so he jumped into the passenger seat and drove around the one way system to assist.

The only thing is there is no car park so be aware that if you park on the street is is only free after 7pm until 9am .we did not know this and ended up getting 3 parking tickets.

And contrary to reviews- the hotel parking is not free- the sign states 30 NIS / day.

The only difficulty we had was the front desk was slow and not at all helpful about parking.

The only downsize is the lack of parking.

Finally, we were told there was plenty of onsite parking - well - there wasn't.

The only other negative would be the parking situation.

The only negative is no parking for our tour bus.

However there were certain minor problems:

-There is no free parking at or near the hotel.

I sent my daughter in to ask where we could unload and park and they said we had to find our own space in a “nearby” lot, the closest of which was two blocks away.

After calling several times, we went down to complain & they said it was 2.

I asked the hotel personnel whether there was a pump for water toys and flotation ring- what a weird request this is in vacation zone!!!

There was no atmosphere at all in what I would call a very bland restaurant.

but quite small and can be hard to get to as most "up" elevator call buttons do not work on the floors other than 0 (again, use stairs).

Don’t need to hear your raucous voices calling to each other in the corridors.

when they were removed, the table tops were not cleaned before returning to her seat and back onto her phone.

The man checking us in was busy looking at photos on his phone while taking our details.

It would help to have telephone instructions in English

( I complained the front desk said they'd call the city and it was soon quiet)
The hotel is small

I called reception again and let the phone ring 20 minutes no answer.

however, it was not what I would call a Shabbos atmosphere. .

Even so when we went down for dinner,  our room numbers had not been added and another phone call to the manager was needed before we were able to eat.

Recommendation to the Hotel Manager:  The phones in the room only are in Hebrew, so we never did find out which one was for 1. front desk, etc.

Have no complaints whatsoever except that we didn't get our requested wake up call.

The chap who told me to use my mobile when I told him the phone in the room wasn't working usually looked miserable and everything was a great effort.

Before going up I told my son to call his aunt who lives nearby and get some other hotel names and start calling around for other hotels and I went back up to “re-smell”.

One day the cleaning girl came very early and the other day very late and we had to call several time.

After a very frustrating half an hour on the phone, they agreed to the original price quoted.

When the woman in charge of housekeeping  eventually arrived, after several calls, she said they had no coffe and if we are not satisfied, it is not her responsibility.

The only outdoor area available is to go out to the kikar/ plaza which is noisy.

However, being enclosed by 2 glazed  glass sides rather than opaque walls, it was inconvenient at night when light & noise from it disturbed the other person.

but it was too chilly outside to really keep a window open and too noisy (people walking and talking at all hours).

The bathroom had a strange set of space saving sliding frosted Glass doors, That had very little soundproofing.

I would like the hotel to get constant access to ordinary drinking water or more often to receive it in the room.

We also had an issue about half way through our stay when we were woken out of our sleep by the guests in the neighbouring room.

but we were awoken each day at 6:45 by loud elevator music and bothered by loud street noise all night.

The Hotel is right on the town's main square which isn't great and quite noisy.

but really it was a little tiny peep of blue with a town square out the window.

sometimes it is a bit noisy due to the all the action on the Promenade,

I'm disgusted by the attitude of the staff, I expect to be refunded for this night , I cannot sleep due to the frustration of the noise all day till about an hour ago when security asked the screaming guests to be quite!

So if you just anticipate some of the noise and crowd issues you'll be OK.

The noise level in our room was very low.

There was not much noise, since our room was far from the elevator and the outside boulevard. Our request for a double (not twin!)

There was work going on and lots of drilling and banging while we were there which made it impossible to have a rest during the day and woke us up earlier than we would have wanted.

Check-in was a nightmare too, with lots of shouting and pushing people arguing about rooms and saying the rooms they'd been allocated were already occupied!

We faced the noisy street (always bring silicone earplugs!).

but as we had not been in Netanya for a few years we were expecting an old hotel on a noisy street.

though I can imagine rooms over the square may be noisy in the summer.

In particular, Lihi Machluf in customer relations, cut through the mess that United Airlines had made by not booking any rooms and in general supported us with utmost competence along with warmth and good humor from ushering us into the dining room for dinner to handling all the other details of our stay so that in our exhaustion we did not have to worry about them.

I fully recommend staying here, and make sure you ask for ilanit- guest relations, the best you can find.

The rooms were clean and service was really good and special mention to their Guest Relations Manager - Ilanit Marrom.

The hotel food, attention to our needs and the staff were of the highest standard led by the general manager  Mr Avi Alon ,assisted by the guest relations manager  Hanni Nizri.

The management General Manager Avi Alon and  Guest Relation Manager Hila Ramot looked after every detail of our two weeks visit, ensuring  our complete satisfaction.

Hotel was very accommodating to any needs we had, friendly staff, clean rooms.

Absolutely stunning Shabbat meals, rich breakfast, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff and the manager Dubi will remember you and your favorite kind of morning coffee prom the first second and will make you feel you just came to visit your yiddishe mama for a chag.

From the wonderful greeting at check-in to the surprise room upgrade (Room 725) to the beautiful and clean room and huge veranda with a gorgeous sea view, we had a wonderful stay and sleep.

The  rooms are clean, and the staff will help you with anything that you need.

Our rooms were clean and we were within walking distance of the Mediterranean Sea.

The room was comfortable with good quality beds, bathroom is practical and easy,  the housekeeping is good and the lady is sympathetic.

The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfast was lovely.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating.

The manager was extremely helpful and warm, and when he was around things went smoothly and well.

We were there the last week end , with all the meals.All was perfect , good location,room with balcony overlooking the sea,exellent food with a wide selection,friendly and helpful staff.Very nice ambiance.I highly recommand the King Solomon hotel Natania !!

Ask for directions at the front desk for the walk to the beach as it is not as close as it seems from the balcony view,

but they are clean, a lot of space for your clothes and personal belongings, the beds are excellent and the view from the balcony over the Mediterranean is awesome.

The room was large clean room with a good size bathroom and the balcony overlooked the sea .

Our room had a flat screen TV and some useful channels, a small fridge, a good bed, a large safe, loads of storage and a balcony overlooking the sea.

The room was disgusting, I found dead cockroaches   And used q-tips underneath the bed and furniture, there was a huge leak coming from the ceiling that I asked the staff to fix multiple times.

We had only a tub in the bathroom and my mom couldn't get a shower there.

Room was a bit tired, especially the shower that really needed decoration - or at least having the tile grout cleaned.I would have expected better.

but exhausted, rusty fittings, loose tiles.

but you may face problems to get in or out of the shower.

The food is poor, the AC is loud, everything is old and the bathroom smells like sewage.

but bathroom tiles are yellowed and broken in places.

It has small rooms even smaller bathrooms,badly maintained.

Pity that hotel toilet not flushing properly even i told the front desk about it, they don't do much about it.

Tiny shower that had a cup sitting in the bottom of it.

Ok hotel, a bit tired and maybe in need of a deep clean in the bathrooms!

Not impressed, the room was not clean and the toilet didnt work.

but bedrooms and bathrooms need a complete renovation.

Only criticism is that the bathrooms are small and tired, and towels are small and thin.

Bugs in corners, floors not vacuumed, shower head full of crud, to the point it's not even used.

Bedding and towels need to be upgraded - only 2 towels, shower in the evening and the apology for a towel still wet in the morning.

but the chipped furniture, stained carpets and rusty fittings need attention.

The grout on the sinks were very much in need of a cleaning.

The room is shabby, furniture is worn out, renovation happened years ago and it was not too thorough.

The rooms are not modern,the furniture very old.

The furniture was again IKEA cheap, and the bed small and very uncomfortable.

The furniture and floors in the rooms have been beat up and need to be replaced soon.

The furniture looks like it has come from Habitat and is clearly very old and tired.

The pool area and sun-deck were poorly maintained and dirty with dilapidated furniture, and the floor of the pool itself sported debris.

It was dirty, halls, room, bathroom had hair, furniture had dust, halls had litter and dirt.

The lounge area next to Reception  is sparsely furnished with basic Ikea style furniture and the bedrooms have no comfortable chairs or settees.

On the day we departed the pool opened late causing us a great inconvenience.

The buffets are extensive and delicious, the pool attendant is friendly and gracious, and the entire staff is sympathetic and helpful in a way that you don’t always find among customer service staff Israel

they have a jacuzzi and hot and cold sauna as well.

There is a large pool area with a sun terrace and lots of loungers.

Plus for great pool area which was very kid friendly.

Good points was the pool was covered and nice.

The hotels Synagogue was closed so everyone walks down the street to the Seasons Hotel.. Nice place.. Also pool and gym were closed..

nice room; friendly staff at the reception; clean swimming pool, my daughter was ill for few days ( nothing to do with hotel ) the staff at reception and restaurant were very careful and paid special attention if we needed anything at any time or special food

Rooms are well appointed with kettle, fridge and free WiFi, The pool and sun deck are a bonus.

The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi was very nice and clean.

but its very quiet being located in a one-way street.The pool is great but after 13.00 it's in the shade though the sun-deck is exposed to the sun from that time.Big jacuzzi,sauna(wet and dry) and fitness room.You'll need them as the meals are tasty and portions generous.

Pool is nice, with a hot tub, sauna, steam room, showers and exercise room.

The lobby, the restaurant, the rooms, the swimming pool area.

The breakfast was very poor compared to other Israeli hotels (I'm still waiting for the porridge which was on request).

When I complained I was told the poor state of the room was due to customers' negligence not hotel!

but this time it was so poor I would never stay here again.

The only reason I chose "average" over "poor" is its exceptional location on the beach and walking distance the main market street.

The pool closed too early and  a poor old lady who had just come out was turned away.

The single beds are rather narrow, and the poor quality bedding seems too small for them in any case.

although supposedly renovated,are very basic and the bathrooms, are poor.

Although apparently recently refurbished, the standard of finish in the bedrooms and bathrooms is very poor and very basic.

The hotel room were clean, extra towels, coffee and sugar bags were received immediately upon request.

The rooms were clean and comfortable ,even with 3 of us in 1 room.

The hotel staff were helpful, the breakfasts excellent, the room clean, and the view of the Mediterranean can't be beat.

The staff were always friendly, the rooms clean and the food tasty and with generous amounts because there was usually an eat as much as you can buffet.

Our spotlessly clean room had been refurbished with new carpet and king sized bed, linens changed every day - we asked for extra towels which were happily supplied.

But, if you're only after a quiet, restful night in a nice sized, clean room, this is a good place.

We had a very good experience, and the view from the rooms is spectacular!

King Solomon hotel is located by the sea, and the rooms are overlooking the ocean.

The room view is wonderful in day and nite, it is facing the Mediterranean sea.

It’s best asset was its location by the sea and rooms overlooking ,with sea views,but the hotel cannot rely on.

The Hotel is okay,nearby the beach,love the view from my room especialy when the sun goes down, sunset so beautiful.

The King Solomon Hotel in Netanya is in an excellent location with a spectacular view of the blue Mediterranean sea from your own room and balcony.

The best comment I can make about this hotel is the Mediterranean view from the room is superb  and that's why it's rated two stars.

The Hotel is in a very good position facing the sea, with beautiful views from the rooms and front of the hotel.

All rooms have great views of the sea and wonderful sunsets.

The positive aspects of the hotel are its fabulous location and great views from all rooms, and that's about it.

I just like this hotel and I can't say anything bad aout it!room 907 has the best view!

Our small, recently renovated room had a view of the beach.

The good thing is that you will never get lost in the tiny bathroom,

The bathrooms are small and there are no bath shower gels or tissues provided, only shampoos.

The bathroom was so small that only one of us could go in there at any one time.

Bathroom small, take hairdryer and toiletries.

Room was small and bathroom was small and not particularly clean.

We had a large jacuzzi bath in a small bathroom (with hardly any toiletries - bring your own).
