The hotel and the room is new, modern, and super clean, the bed and even the sheets feel luxurious and comfy, the balcony view to the Temple of Apollo which provides a stunning sunset every night are secondary to our wonderful hotel hosts.

If I had to be extremely picky, I would point that perhaps the only downside was that the room (at least our room) and the bathroom were on the small side and didn't have a lot of free space - not small,

but not fancy, rooms are somewhat smaller and the bathrooms are also small.

The showers are small and it is hard to not spray water on the floor, and if you do not want to use the path next to the ocean the walk to town takes you on a busy street with intermittent sidewalks,

The only thing I didn't like was the size of the bathroom was a bit small.

We will definitely return, even if the shower is small!

The only negative was that the bathroom was very small, there was no storage space for toiletries,  and it was impossible to shower without getting the floor wet.

The bathroom was a little too small that when you take a shower the whole area gets wet and is quite messy.

though the bathroom was much too tiny, such that we both smashed our ankle on the shower foundation just going to the sink (the only negative).

Yes, the rooms are small and there is no place to sit other than the bed (and the balcony).

Our first room was on the small side and they quickly accommodated us to bigger room.

The rooms are small and if a sea view isn't available, you can still enjoy the view out front via the comfy couches as we did.

As others have mentioned the rooms are quite small,

but it was inside a small room and I am sure it was hard to keep it clean.

However, our room was tiny (about 14 inches from the foot of the bed to the wall, and you needed to get past to go to the balcony), and *loud*.

The experience staying at Hotel Gotta was fantastic.

Their service and hospitality is unmatched.

It is the staff and their warm hospitality that made this so extra special, like no other hotel we've been to.

You don’t often experience this kind of hospitality anymore.

From the insanely wonderful and varied breakfast (best I've had anywhere) , to the unparalleled hospitality, to the kind, funny and so helpful staff, to its delightful rooms and gorgeous location, Hotel Grotta -- and the people working there -- stands as one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed at.

The only negative comments that I can make about the room was that the bathtub/shower was very narrow, making it difficult to move around, and the wifi signal throughout the entire property was very poor.

Also some luxuries that many Greek islands hotels don't have, such as a large bathroom with tub, Kleenex in room, and an in-room coffee maker!!

The junior suit, in my experience, is perfect for a week-long stay, the only little disadvantage is the bathroom: the bathtub is quite small and there's not a lot of place to stand.

Rooms are a bit outdated and I'm still wondering why old tubs are still around during 21st century.

The narrowness of the tub/shower was our only complaint.

Rooms are a normal size (the bathroom and the bath tub is a little bit small)

but the old 'stand in a small bathtub' kind, which was very disappointing.

The only disadvantage of the rooms is the humidity inside, maybe because the bathroom has no window I don’t know…… and some difficulties with the shower tub.

The bathroom had a tub with multiple shower settings.

The only downside was that there was a bathtub,

but you did need a taxi back in the evening because the road is dark and would be dangerous on foot.

The walk into town takes about 20 minutes and I would recommend a taxi back for 6€ because the road back to the hotel is dark at night (don't wear black!).

but wouldn't walk in the dark as there is no pavement.

Our room was satisfactory (the bathroom was a bit dark and pokey because no windows).

If I were to have to say one drawback, it would maybe be the walk into Naossa there are no pavements to speak of, so you couldn't do it in the dark (but taxis were only 6 Euro's, so reasonable) and you could stay in the hotel for dinner if you didn't feel like moving.

but it’s a fast road with no pavements so DO NOT walk back in the dark because a taxi to return is just 6€.

but I'd be reluctant to do the walk alone in the dark, which is the only downside really.

however a taxi (or own transport) is needed when it's dark.

The windows were covered in beige fabric that meant the rooms were rather dark and dingy. Other than this it was all just ok.  We cut our 4 nights down to 3 and are now sitting in santorini (next review!)

but no proper pavements & fairly busy with traffic at times, a bit risky to attempt in the dark!

(yes, it is a little dark walking back at night and the footpath is basically non-existent,

but the road is very dark and i would not do it at night.

One of the 2 rooms that we had booked was exchanged immediately against a better one when we told the team that it was quite  dark and that we wouldn't be happy.

Be careful on the walk into Naoussa in the dark; it is very easy and doesn't take long

Rooms were a nice size and beds super comfy, pool area was great, food was delicious.

The pool area is beautiful - it has a large pool with plenty of lounge chairs and the view looking out onto the water is stunning.

The outside pool area was the epitome of tranquility, surrounded by quite possibly the most comfortable loungers I’ve ever had the pleasure of relaxing upon.

From the staff who provides great personalized service consistently, to the amazing Eurpoean style breakfast buffet and seating area to start the day each morning, to the relaxing pool area and ocean views, and lastly the very comfortable bed and room.

It was so nice to start our day with breakfast poolside enjoying the view.

The poolside staff could not do enough to make everything more and more comfortable.

The location and environment is incredible, the room interiors are immaculate and supremely comfortable, the breakfast is vast and delicious, very well presented high quality produce, the pool is divine and the pool-side bar serves a great array of fabulous cocktails, great wine and perfect coffee.

The poolside restaurant and bar were to a very high standard.

You can walk to Naoussa and to Kolymbithres beaches quite easily so you have access to a great beach and a great village, whilst the resort itself is clean and pleasant with a high quality breakfast, poolside service and a high quality restaurant.

We enjoyed dinner there every night, sitting poolside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Saint Andrea, especially the pool and poolside bar, the clean and crisp decor of our rooms, and the very nice breakfast buffet.

Great location with a fabelous view from the poolside.

Special mention has to be made of the beautiful on site restaurant, with a lovely candlelit ambience poolside, an extensive menu and really delicious food.

From the delicious breakfast, perfect poolside positions and incredibly comfortable room, we were blown away.

The most breathtaking area in this hotel is the poolside.

I strongly recommend anyone looking for a relaxing poolside resort that you visit St. Andrea.

Housekeeping did an excellent job daily, the complimentary breakfast buffet was expansive and delicious, the pool and poolside restaurant were picturesque, Nikos and his team had amazing recommendations for restaurants in Naoussa, and they were incredibly warm and hospitable, in true Greek style.

Also didn’t mind the amazing poolside view of the ocean!

While we did not have dinner in the hotel's lovely restaurant, breakfast is served there daily (as well in the poolside courtyard) and is one of the best breakfast buffets I have seen in any hotel, anywhere in the world.

The property includes a large swimming pool with a poolside bar and indoor and outdoor dining areas.

At poolside, drinks, snacks and sandwiches were readily available from the attentive staff.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff, we were a bit early and was directed to the poolside bar where they gave us a welcome drink and some snacks.

The breakfast buffet had a tremendous selection and it was great to eat poolside each morning.

We arrived to The Saint Andrea Resort from Santorini and wanted a more relaxing part of our vacation.

It's such a beautiful, peaceful hotel and the service was amazing and so friendly.

I highly recommend this hotel for a beautiful, welcoming, relaxing stay, which you certainly will not regret!

A very versatile, relaxing and accommodating place!

The location was only a short walk (or 10 euro taxi) into the gorgeous harbor so it felt peaceful and relaxed.

Our time in Paros was very relaxing and enjoyable in large part due to our stay at Saint Andrea resort.

You will definitely find St Andrea incredibly relaxing and enjoyable and want to come back again and again.

The ambiance, views and grounds are well maintained and restful.

St Andrea was the host hotel for Renovad Retreats visit in Paros.

A family business in the third generation, Pension Sofi offers coziness, tranquility and care that remind us of "coming home": Theodoris welcomes us at the port/airport, and in the cool reception, Rena and Sofi are already waiting for us with refreshment drinks and homemade sweet.

We were collected at the port and driven the short distance to the pension where Rena welcomed us with a drink in the breakfast room — a lovely touch.

We received a warm welcome and were treated to a cold drink and a snack of delicious homemade cheesecake made by Sofi.

The homemade lemonade is one of the best drinks we had on our trip, and we had warm bread and freshly baked cakes every morning on a scenic patio.

We were welcomed at the airport by Theo and taken to the lovely pension sofi where we received a further hospitable welcome  by Rena with a drink and treat.

While breakfast was not officially included, every morning guests were provided with drinks and delicious homemade treats.

There's also a provision shop nearby where you can buy grocery or snacks or drinks or fruits to quench your thirst on a hot day.

We were met at the ferry port and provided with a welcome drink and lots of advice given on all the wonderful places to visit.

Collected from the ferry,cold drink and homemade snacks on arrival and great info around the things to do on the island.

The welcome drink and sweets is a nice touch.

We were made to feel very welcome and provided information as well as a drink and snack on arrival.

We was picked up on arrival from the airport by Rena's husband and was made welcome on arrival with a cake and drink and given all the information we needed for our stay regarding bus timetables and other recommendations.

We were welcome with fruits and drinks, and the room is clean and lovely.

Every day there were gifts of home grown food and delicious home made traditional Naxian cakes and drinks.

On arrival at the accommodation we were offered a refreshing drink and a home made orange confection that was quite delicious.

We were greeted at the dock and transported to Pension Sofi where 4 generations of the family were there to greet us with a drink and a sweet!

Our balcony had a view of the Citadel and was perfect for leisurely breakfasts and evening drinks.

but above all Rena and her family were so welcoming - with drinks,fruit, yummy cherry juice and a thorough guide of what to do and how to do it in Naxos.

We were given great advice, drinks and fruit from there garden.
