The room was spotlessly clean with a lovely big comfortable bed.

Our immaculate room had a view of Apollo's gate and the town/port, along with a private balcony.

The showers are small and it is hard to not spray water on the floor, and if you do not want to use the path next to the ocean the walk to town takes you on a busy street with intermittent sidewalks,

The only negative was that the bathroom was very small, there was no storage space for toiletries,  and it was impossible to shower without getting the floor wet.

Our first room was on the small side and they quickly accommodated us to bigger room.

The only negative comments that I can make about the room was that the bathtub/shower was very narrow, making it difficult to move around, and the wifi signal throughout the entire property was very poor.

Also some luxuries that many Greek islands hotels don't have, such as a large bathroom with tub, Kleenex in room, and an in-room coffee maker!!

The junior suit, in my experience, is perfect for a week-long stay, the only little disadvantage is the bathroom: the bathtub is quite small and there's not a lot of place to stand.

Rooms are a bit outdated and I'm still wondering why old tubs are still around during 21st century.

The narrowness of the tub/shower was our only complaint.

Rooms are a normal size (the bathroom and the bath tub is a little bit small)

but the old 'stand in a small bathtub' kind, which was very disappointing.

The only disadvantage of the rooms is the humidity inside, maybe because the bathroom has no window I don’t know…… and some difficulties with the shower tub.

The only downside was that there was a bathtub,

but you did need a taxi back in the evening because the road is dark and would be dangerous on foot.

The walk into town takes about 20 minutes and I would recommend a taxi back for 6€ because the road back to the hotel is dark at night (don't wear black!).

but wouldn't walk in the dark as there is no pavement.

Our room was satisfactory (the bathroom was a bit dark and pokey because no windows).

If I were to have to say one drawback, it would maybe be the walk into Naossa there are no pavements to speak of, so you couldn't do it in the dark (but taxis were only 6 Euro's, so reasonable) and you could stay in the hotel for dinner if you didn't feel like moving.

but it’s a fast road with no pavements so DO NOT walk back in the dark because a taxi to return is just 6€.

but I'd be reluctant to do the walk alone in the dark, which is the only downside really.

however a taxi (or own transport) is needed when it's dark.

The windows were covered in beige fabric that meant the rooms were rather dark and dingy. Other than this it was all just ok.  We cut our 4 nights down to 3 and are now sitting in santorini (next review!)

but no proper pavements & fairly busy with traffic at times, a bit risky to attempt in the dark!

(yes, it is a little dark walking back at night and the footpath is basically non-existent,

but the road is very dark and i would not do it at night.

One of the 2 rooms that we had booked was exchanged immediately against a better one when we told the team that it was quite  dark and that we wouldn't be happy.

If there is one very slight negative its that the rooms are just a little too small.

The first impression of the rooms is how small they are, in fact as I was sharing a supposed family room with my 2 grandchildren I complained as there was hardly room to move and by using the sofa bed there would be nowhere to sit either.

My family,  friends and stayed 6 days last july in Naxos beach Resort, we enjoyed our stay so much, the staff were friendly, rooms were clean, spacious with large balcony.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, we had a balcony which was lovely to sit out in the evenings for happy hour.

We had a great stay and I summarise below our favourites from this stay:
-great staff who were extremely helpful from giving local information to arranging car rental 
-pool bar with again great staff and a large variety of items to eat or drink
-location is great, right by the beach and also the city centre of Naxos
-wholesome breakfast
-free transport to/from the port
-super clean rooms and bathrooms

-	Every time, I went into reception it smelled of smoke, one of the staff is definitely smoking inside, not a good representation of the hotel.

Our room was old, noisy and had a smell that was rather unpleasant.

On check in we discovered bedding was very damp it took 2 attempts by us to get sorted.

The orange juice is either watered down or cheap nasty carton juice.

It had a sewage smell that we could not even wash our teeth.

Only downer were the small rooms and old musky furniture.

Yet, there are some reasons that I will not visit again for sure, the old style room door is too hard to open, bathroom fan is too noisy and no way to turn it off unless with the light, the most terrible thing is they "watering" the plant together with our balcony, all our clothes, cigarettes getting wet. .

The bathroom stunk of mould - we could hardly go in there!

This consists of a few machines in a small basement room, that smells.

At breakfast had to wait for a table, as again not enough tables and chairs to cater for over 90 rooms and one gripe - people smoking at tables whilst having breakfast.

Because it is probably the highest class hotel on Naxos it is also undoubtedly the most expensive and has its fair share of business travellers on mobile phones (and, being Greece, smoking heavily!).

Due to coronavirus, you have to order in advance the night before by completing a simple tick-box form.

When calling the front desk, we were told it was due to the number of people on the island, which seemed odd, because in three weeks we had been traveling in Greece, this was the only hotel we had this issue at.

The five minute drive from the Port was a nightmare due to all the one-way streets and no signs.

however if you go to town a few times in a day due to various reasons, the walk doesn't feel very short.

Unfortunatelly due to the cold and windy weather we were not able to use all the outdoor facilities.

The front desk staff is extremely helpful in planning excursions - they took the time to explain the map of the town to us and highlighted routes to take as well as ways to avoid getting lost due to all of the one-way roads.

Even when it looked like we wouldn't be able to stay at Nissaki due to availability she suggested some other hotels that we might like.
