The complementary breakfast is the best I have ever had.

The free pick up and drop off at the ferry/airport was wonderful and the breakfasts they served were simply amazing.

The breakfast spread was amazing, absolutely anything you could want from fruit, yoghurt, Greek pastries, cakes, chilled roast vegetables, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, cold ham and cheese, and lots more.

And the food is delicious!Included breakfast is amazingly varied, plentiful & homemade.

The room is beautiful and clean and it comes with a lovely breakfast.

If I had to be extremely picky, I would point that perhaps the only downside was that the room (at least our room) and the bathroom were on the small side and didn't have a lot of free space - not small,

but not fancy, rooms are somewhat smaller and the bathrooms are also small.

The showers are small and it is hard to not spray water on the floor, and if you do not want to use the path next to the ocean the walk to town takes you on a busy street with intermittent sidewalks,

The only thing I didn't like was the size of the bathroom was a bit small.

We will definitely return, even if the shower is small!

The only negative was that the bathroom was very small, there was no storage space for toiletries,  and it was impossible to shower without getting the floor wet.

The bathroom was a little too small that when you take a shower the whole area gets wet and is quite messy.

though the bathroom was much too tiny, such that we both smashed our ankle on the shower foundation just going to the sink (the only negative).

Yes, the rooms are small and there is no place to sit other than the bed (and the balcony).

Our first room was on the small side and they quickly accommodated us to bigger room.

The rooms are small and if a sea view isn't available, you can still enjoy the view out front via the comfy couches as we did.

As others have mentioned the rooms are quite small,

but it was inside a small room and I am sure it was hard to keep it clean.

However, our room was tiny (about 14 inches from the foot of the bed to the wall, and you needed to get past to go to the balcony), and *loud*.

The only negative comments that I can make about the room was that the bathtub/shower was very narrow, making it difficult to move around, and the wifi signal throughout the entire property was very poor.

Also some luxuries that many Greek islands hotels don't have, such as a large bathroom with tub, Kleenex in room, and an in-room coffee maker!!

The junior suit, in my experience, is perfect for a week-long stay, the only little disadvantage is the bathroom: the bathtub is quite small and there's not a lot of place to stand.

Rooms are a bit outdated and I'm still wondering why old tubs are still around during 21st century.

The narrowness of the tub/shower was our only complaint.

Rooms are a normal size (the bathroom and the bath tub is a little bit small)

but the old 'stand in a small bathtub' kind, which was very disappointing.

The only disadvantage of the rooms is the humidity inside, maybe because the bathroom has no window I don’t know…… and some difficulties with the shower tub.

The view, the pool area, the breakfasts, the rooms and above all the staff were exceptional!

The food  whether it was a drink between meals or the breakfast buffet was always well done and always delicious.

The breakfast was delicious with a great presentation and huge variety.

Breakfast is beautifullly presented and takes care of all tastes.

The food during breakfast was excellent, and the staff was so warm, welcoming, and accommodating.

The room decor is beautifully relaxing, the pool and views are incredible, and the breakfast options are many and delicious.

but you did need a taxi back in the evening because the road is dark and would be dangerous on foot.

The walk into town takes about 20 minutes and I would recommend a taxi back for 6€ because the road back to the hotel is dark at night (don't wear black!).

but wouldn't walk in the dark as there is no pavement.

Our room was satisfactory (the bathroom was a bit dark and pokey because no windows).

If I were to have to say one drawback, it would maybe be the walk into Naossa there are no pavements to speak of, so you couldn't do it in the dark (but taxis were only 6 Euro's, so reasonable) and you could stay in the hotel for dinner if you didn't feel like moving.

but it’s a fast road with no pavements so DO NOT walk back in the dark because a taxi to return is just 6€.

but I'd be reluctant to do the walk alone in the dark, which is the only downside really.

however a taxi (or own transport) is needed when it's dark.

The windows were covered in beige fabric that meant the rooms were rather dark and dingy. Other than this it was all just ok.  We cut our 4 nights down to 3 and are now sitting in santorini (next review!)

but no proper pavements & fairly busy with traffic at times, a bit risky to attempt in the dark!

(yes, it is a little dark walking back at night and the footpath is basically non-existent,

but the road is very dark and i would not do it at night.

One of the 2 rooms that we had booked was exchanged immediately against a better one when we told the team that it was quite  dark and that we wouldn't be happy.

Be careful on the walk into Naoussa in the dark; it is very easy and doesn't take long

We especially enjoyed lunch at the hotel restaurant with the most delicious food!

The breakfast was fantastic too, overlooking the water.

The breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever had at any hotel we have ever stayed at and the views of the sea are wonderful.

Own sun beds on private beach area, right by sea side restaurant serving great food for both breakfast and dinner!

Front desk staff was fanastic, and the woman who served us breakfast each day was great.

The breakfast, ordered the night before and served in the beach, was amazing, served by the beautiful efficient and always smiling Stella (I think that was her name).

The breakfast is just to die for and we can’t wait to be back again since we’re writing this review from home.

Morning breakfasts directly on the beach were a wonderful way to start the day.

Breakfast was gorgeous, you order it the night before and there’s loads of choice with very large portion sizes!

From the impossibly delicious portokalopita (orange pie) at breakfast, to the perfect beach, to the wise aged cat that strolls back and forth, to the delectable restaurant, lovely rooms, beautiful pool and helpful staff, the perfect location close enough to town center

Breakfast is included and is absolutely wonderful; you submit your order the night before and they serve you as soon as you get to the restaurant in the morning.

The breakfast and beach restaurant were AMAZING.

Due to coronavirus, you have to order in advance the night before by completing a simple tick-box form.

When calling the front desk, we were told it was due to the number of people on the island, which seemed odd, because in three weeks we had been traveling in Greece, this was the only hotel we had this issue at.

The five minute drive from the Port was a nightmare due to all the one-way streets and no signs.

however if you go to town a few times in a day due to various reasons, the walk doesn't feel very short.

Unfortunatelly due to the cold and windy weather we were not able to use all the outdoor facilities.

The front desk staff is extremely helpful in planning excursions - they took the time to explain the map of the town to us and highlighted routes to take as well as ways to avoid getting lost due to all of the one-way roads.

Even when it looked like we wouldn't be able to stay at Nissaki due to availability she suggested some other hotels that we might like.

The times seem to change a lot and the ferries even got cancelled for a whole day on each of our visits to Naxos: once due to a strike, another time due to high winds.

My only complaint was that the beach was a little loud on the weekend due to a volleyball tournament.

When we arrived our room was still occupied due to the Greek election then going on so we were offered an alternative for our first night.

This year I stayed at Nissaki Beach Hotel, unfortunately it was only for a night due to work reasons,

but we savored very bite for breakfast daily and one night we had a delicious  dinner on property too.

From the welcome breakfast custom made for our group to the bar, pool, view and suite it was 10/10!!!

The morning buffet was delicious and so much to offer.

The atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly and the food was amazing - I'm still thinking about the breakfasts - the pancakes, the egg white omelettes, the crescents, fresh fruit, etc.

The breakfast buffet is ridiculously good.

The hotel's breakfast was quite good as well with an assortment of buffet foods as well as a menu you could order off of.

We had dinner at the resort on 2 evenings because the food was so fresh and delicious.

Bruno, Marios, Julian: Our evenings were full of laughter, delicious Greek wine and great food.

The breakfast, every morsel was so delicious!

Property was well maintained and the breakfast was truly impressive in terms of variety and freshness.

Villa Marandi was one of our last stops on our honeymoon and we can confidently say saved the best for last! The grounds were beautiful including a well-kept pool, beautiful, comfortable rooms with a view and delicious restaurant and bar (the drinks were fresh and amazing!)

), the food at Villa Marandi is really yummy and varied.

The restaurant on site was delicious, you don’t need anything else.

The breakfast is included & just so wonderful & varied, and reflects the passion & skill of the chef.

The only issue was that as dusk fell we were being bothered by mosquitos

One night we were being swarmed by mosquitoes which wa a bummer

Finally be aware that some nights there are a lot of mosquitoes so bring with you a strong repellent.

Do not be put off by previous reviews critisising the mosquitoes and cats, it's Greece for goodness sake, not some plastic generated indoor theme park!

Only complaint was the bathrooms are small.

While the bathroom was very small, the room itself was nicely appointed.

although bathrooms small, falling asleep to the sound of the sea was priceless.

The bathroom is a bit small ,thats right.But its not a Spa for christ sake.. the whole island is spa enough;)

Breakfast is great, with diversified delicious homemade dishes.

Luckily, breakfast is an amazing reason to get up, and everyday we were treated to a huge spread of delicious homemade pastries, fresh fruit, and desserts.

The breakfast is such a huge treat, so much food and authentic Greek dishes were offered which I enjoyed so much.

Beautiful apartments, clean, spacious and comfortable with a great breakfast on offer.

The breakfast was outstanding and everything was homemade by the owner.

Make sure to come to the breakfast hungry, everything is so tasty and freshly made that it’s hard not to try everything.

The homemade breakfasts were amazing and the views spectacular.

Litsa is so nice and responsive, she knew we were leaving in the early morning, she got up at 5 am to prepare a nice breakfast for us, we were just so appreciated about her hospitality, I will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

- The room was large, a duplex with a big bed in one room and a smaller sofa bed in the upstairs room.

but also hosted our third friend on the sofa bed that already existed in the room.

The only small thing was the shower was very, very small, (my bf had a difficult time using it) and the wall attachment for the shower handle was broken, so we had to use the hand shower.

Might want to post a map on the hotel website.

The Greek yogurt with local fruits and honey were my favorite.

Extremely friendly staff and a good buffet breakfast to start the day.

The breakfast was tasty, each morning slightly different options available which we liked.

The room was beautiful, the breakfast spread was amazing, and the staff were all incredibly kind to us (even helping us arrange cabs, rental cars, etc).

In addition to this, the breakfast varies everyday and is absolutely delicious!

At the requested time there was a knock on the door and Costas and two of his staff entered with a fantastic breakfast and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate the occasion.

Breakfast was a nice bonus and you felt like you were at a little spa almost.

Breakfast was excellent with a variety of products and especially local products of Naxos.

Housekeeping standards are immaculate and breakfast is fresh with a variety of home-made cooked products.

Incredible friendly staff, nice shady patio for buffet breakfast, with a farmers market near and farmland separating the hotel from the road, approximately 1.2 miles from the port.

The lovely man at breakfast was always asking how our previous day was, what are plans are for today and always had great recommendations and knowledge if we ever asked.

HIGHLY recommend for a very reasonably priced place with great breakfast and even better people.

Ask Stelio at the bar to make you a breakfast Freddo Cappuccino it was the best in all our Greek travels.

The on-site staff is exceeding helpful, and the breakfast is solid.

The breakfasts are amazing with everything you could wish for.

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was expansive.

We enjoyed the pool and the incredible breakfast buffet.

And no stay at Stelia Mare would be complete without mentioning the breakfast buffet.

I would also like to mention that the breakfast buffet that was free with our stay was AMAZING!

The breakfast Buffett is very good-I do T think I’ve ever seen so many baked goods.

Everything was delicious and plentiful, we felt really spoiled.

The breakfast was actually quite impressive for a buffet, and the property is very nice with little nooks and crannies that add a lot of charm.

Breakfast buffet is top notch, everything you can imagine, coffee very good, and they will cook eggs separately to your liking.. which brings me to the best part of this hotel..

The only negative was that the walls were very thin in our room.

The view at the pool is of this old wall with chipped, peeling paint.

The wall of the hotel next to Stelia Mare needs a coat of paint, it breaks a bit the general picture.

Our only "complaint" was that the walls seem to be quite thin without much installation so we could hear our next door neighbors when they came back late at night.
