but food quality and selections in happy hour exceeded my expectation; the 1st evening's cook-by-order course, and the next day's small buffet also.

For europeans the breakfast ist very good.

Lots of breakfast options, especially friendly to vegetarian.

By the way, the breakfast menu is so rich and delicious.

Sitting on the train waiting to arrive without an idea of what to expect from the city of Nantong, I look outside the window to see the train crossing the widening Yangtze River.

To be honest, staff at Club lounge and western restaurant can't speak English almost at all so it's a really good idea to have foreign staff in the hotel.

Finally the hotel is in the middle of nowhere so don’t get any ideas of a stroll through old Nantong.

Variety of food was amazing Sushi, soups and lots of vegetables.

The room service catering was good; the food arrived quickly after I ordered and the quality was very decent.

It improved a little when I changed room to a different floor with a portable fan.

but call ahead to see if the hotel A/C is working.

Food very good according to western standard, specially the breakfast was excellent.

I'd actually give the edge to the Jinshi based on its food selection and the nice extra touches they do, including some free snacks in the room upon arrival, and the buffet has a better selection for vegetarians with more steamed options.

It is probably the tallest building in Nantong CBD ( easy to spot) and is also famous for its buffet dinner according to the locals.

The restaurant is a foodies delight - huge selection of every type of food available - both Western and Asian. Close to great restaurants (best pizza just around the corner at O Cafe!)

however there’s also a new mall opposite the hotel with a few restaurants.

but the lobby, the restaurant, the reception desk, even the corridors are swarming with staff.

In consideration that we are in china I could say that the food service is excellent with all forms of Chinese and International dishes.

Checking in was easy, I did not make a reservation and got a room within 10 minutes (good for China).

I was suggested to this hotel by my client and was very happy with freindly and efficient staff at Jinshi.

I came home from dinner to find a platter of fruit on my desk with a handwritten notes from the duty manager advising that they would be pleased to assist in anyway and that they were happy to have me in the hotel.They think of everything!

The dinner was an all you can eat buffet including premium items like lobster, king crab and other shellfish.

The only thing about this hotel is that it is about 15minute walk to shops or the a 5 min cab ride to the centre of town.

5 mins in a taxi to a great shopping centre with 'golden eagle' huge store where there are lots of restaurants.

The fitness center is well equipped for those that want circuit training or any dedicated muscle training.

Rooms appear nice and spacious as well as clean - the same goes for the bathroom.

I was really impressed with the service and the quality of the food.

The concierge counter - Mr Su was extremely helpful with our airport transfer arrangement and on top of it, he also helped to recommend some places for dinner in town and arranged a taxis for me.

There is a western restaurant on site, which was very convenient.

though walking distance to a mall with a few restaurants.

The food in the hotel mainly caters for the Chinese taste and it only got resolved in the last three weeks before I came home.
