The elevators number is short with 3 total for the whole building, whch takes longer time to wait for the elevator.

The only grouse I had with the hotel was the lift - There is only 1 lift that goes to the basement and it takes forever (figure of speech) for a lift to arrive.

However, the lift is not so convenient for the new-comer- door closed too quickly for us to swipe the card.

Elevators are limited and you must be quick to swipe your card or you could find yourself going the wrong way or past your floor

Hence, during the morning peak hours, I had to wait quite a long time for the lift to come.

Only 3 elevators dedicated to the hotel which is part of a shopping cum office complex.

Take a little longer to wait elevator, because lobby is on the high floor of building.

There are only 3 elevators which take forever to go up or down.

The only small downside is that the lobby is located high up on the 23rd floor, and there is no elevator to take from the hotel to get to the meeting rooms on the 22nd floor.

It was hard to get a taxi at the hotel and the elevators are a little slow.

The elevators were swift with little wait times.

When you find the building, you enter on floor 1 and are directed to take the elevator up to floor 23.

The check-in not being on the entrance lobby bothers me a little, I really don't feel well taking an elevator to proceed with check-in.

but a few things are a bit annoying: size of the room can vary greatly (some are fairly small), the lifts are so slow and the quilt covers are not made of cotton so they add an additional cotton bedsheet which is quite annoying.

As others have noted, the Westin's lobby is on the 23rd floor, so there are often inconvenient waits for the elevator at peak periods.

Only 3 lifts, which is not sufficient and in addition, they are incredible slow.

The only inconvenience was probably the wait for the elevator and the distance of the fitness center from the rooms, which is a bit of a walk.

There are only three lift and you can be sure to wait quite some time in front of it during rush hour.

Executive lounge was small with great views of Nanjing city.

The 2 night stay was Excellent due to Mr. Jiang in Concierge, Mandy Ma in the Executive Lounge, and Alice Yao and Paula Heng from Room Staff.

Westin Nanjing is outstanding hotel with great service, Executive Lounge, facility and spa and a good fitness center as seen in the attached pictures.

We were fortunate to stay on the Executive Lounge floor and the service in the lounge provided by Kiko, Winnie, Janae and Cherry was simply exceptional.

The friendly services received from staff at the executive lounge was also very good.

The service in executive lounge is very good, all guest service spec are ready & willing to help and serve when in need.

The happy hour in executive lounge is wonderful.

Angeline from Executive lounge did a brilliant job of getting us our suite early as we arrived quite early.

However all the staff at executive lounge on 33rd floor were all very attentive and friendly.

The happy hour in the Executive Lounge offers a good choice of  hot food,  from Dim Sum, to  Pizza,  egg rolls, to salad, fruit, and dessert.

Was here to visit old friends and the Executive Suite and Executive Lounge was very nice.

The Westin Nanjing has a wonderful location next to Xuanwu Lake, and we were lucky to get an upgrade to the lake view suite, thanks to the friendly staff at the executive club lounge!

Westin Nanjing has been one of my favor hotel for number of years, the location is excellent, it is above a mall and subway.

Very nice hotel - and location is near the Xuanwu lake (walking distance) - the entrance is a bit tight for taxis for cars to turnaround - the staff provide excellent service and rooms are comfortable

The location is good, being close to the subway and close to shopping.

The location is wodnerful, a short walk to the lake and park.

This is a beautiful hotel located right next to many city attractions.

Nanjing is enormous and so I can’t really comment in the location other than to say it is within easy walk of the wall and lake, and we got around town pretty easily from here.

Hotel is located near Xuanwu lake, a nice place to walk and run in the evening.

Conveniently located next to the XuanWu subway station (2min walk) that will connect you to every major tourist attraction in the area.

Unbelievable convenient location to satisfy/feed you😂

The hotel is located a few minute walking distance from Xuanwumen metro station.

The hotel is located close to the subway and one of the gates for the Nanjing city wall.

Located right next to Xuanyamen station for easy access to the tourist sites and also right next to a shopping mall with some nice restaurants.

The hotel is much better than the Sheraton in Nanjing with the perfect location and lake view.

The lakeview room was amazing and the location was fantastic!

The Westin Najing is a nice hotel with nice rooms in a good location.

The hotel is located on top of Xuan Wu station, within 10min walking distance to Xuan Wu lake and right next to a large shopping complex (Jin Mao), which includes the famous Nanjing Da Pai Dang.

As this still did not convince him I asked to speak to the hotel manager.

Upon check in, the hotel, a receptionist took our face-photograph and requested to show a passport.

We had booked another room for the next day, so my wife asked him about the room.

To give a few examples of my recent experience;
1) When I could not connect to the room WiFi, and had requested for an Ethernet cable, I was told I needed to pay a RMB100 cash deposit.

I requested to meet the GM as it had been too much in less than 24 hours,

I accidentally left my headphone of my last of staying (about 2 months ago), the hotel called me immediately to let me know after I checked out, because this headphone is not worth for them to mail to me so I asked them to keep it till I return.

When I had asked the staff, they just replied that there would not be any replenishment.

To add insult to injury, the hotel expects guests to actively request for housekeeping by putting out a placard they place in the room (which of course I was too jet lagged after a 20 hour trip to notice).

After 2 nights of "night skiing," I requested for the matress to be changed. It was promptly changed and we stopped skiing

Joyce tried to her best to accommodate my request for the room with a nice view.

As a platinum number of Marriott, I had 2 wonderful days in the hotel, I had to appreciate the manager who arranged the room for me on 6th August，the staff Mandy Zhang, the guest service manager Garry Gai and the room keeper Paula Heng.

The room was comfortable, quite large, very quiet, and it had a small sitting area, good work desk area, and good lighting.

I loved my spacious room, the separate tub and shower, and all the marble in the bathroom.

Rooms are fine, and some rooms are equipped with air filters so we had a great night of sleep.

Breakfast excellent, rooms very comfortable.

Upgraded room on 30F which was a nice thought - super views of the lake -

Second was to have a room which was supposed to have a lake view and in fact got the lake view if you are going to one particular place in the room to see it.

The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed.

The guest room was comfortable and well maintained.

My room was large and clean and of a good standard of quality.

A guest room is furnished as an average degree.

Some of the rooms have a great view of the lake and the historical wall which is worth a look.

I am impressed by the wonderful service there each time.

I used the hotel laundry service and shoe shine service and both were good.

We loved the friendly service in the hotel, thanks to the front desk staffs.

The club lounge at 33 floor always provide the warmest hospitality and superb service.

My laundry arrived at 6pm to my new hotel and I couldn’t have been happier with the service attitude from the Westin team.

Thanks for the service, it's my second time being here.

Late check-in still with a complementary upgrade to a corner suite with a wonderful bird view of the city and the Xuanwuhu Lake，I need to give full credit to the customer manager Mandy Ma, whose warm simile and all-round service made me feel greatly welcomed.

Very convenient & easy to reach by subway, station of Xuanwumen of Line 1 from 2 main railway stations, Nanjing Train Station & South Train Station.

Subway can reach most of the attractions in Nanjing.

Excellently located for subway and Xuanwu Lake/Park which is really worth a visit if you want to chill out and need some exercise!

Close to the Lake (Xuan Wu Hu), Nanjing Train Station (2 stops by subway), downtown, etc.

On the positive side, the hotel is located very conveniently near the subway (line1) and Xuanwu lake, approximately 5 mins walking to each destination.

Coming from Beijing, it was easily accessed through subway.

it was clean with friendly stuffs and a great view of the lake  in the restaurant, and near to the subway, the breakfast was awesome , it was the best place i could stay in nanjing.

The hotel is located next to a mall (though it's now under renovation), 5 minute walk to the subway and a 10 minute walk to Xuanwu Lake.

The location is also pretty good as it's on a subway stations which gets to most historical attractions.

Easy to reach with public transportation (subway) and close to Xuanwu Lake Park.

If only myself or my husband came down to breakfast with the two children, the staff would bring us coffee or stay with the children while we went to the buffet.

Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast buffet reflecting the Chinese/Korean/Japanese clientele in this tech business area of Nanjing.

Attention to detail was evident in that everywhere I looked someone was cleaning - doors, hallways, etc.

My room was facing the indoor atrium and thus, there was no fresh air from outside that could cool the room even I opened the door to the balcony.

But thankfully the balcony doors open to let cooling air in.

Also, the tables by the windows were next to doors with a SIGNIFICANT and unrestricted cold draft (recommendation:  Invest in some better weather stripping all around the door jams). (brrrr!)

The restaurant had beautiful food and first class service.

It is called the Square and the food was very good on top of the friendly service.

There is a supermarket and food court next to the hotel.

I enjoyed the in house Chinese restaurant!

I was impressed with the food and the English version of the China Daily newspaper that they provided for me.

Tiffany at the front desk, and Xandy and Shelia in the Premier Lounge went above and beyond serving me vegetarian food.

At the restaurant, managers Kell and Sunny were very welcoming and made my restaurant experience with great food that much better!

All the staff, from the reception desk to the restaurant to housekeeping, were consistently pleasant and helpful.

He was so kind and provided me information about the local food.
