The hotel provides car park at another building opposite the hotel (with charge).

I’m only a platinum member because I have the Chase Hyatt credit card.

But the hotel said that I have to pay additional charge for the child.

THeres a swimming pool on the 3rd floor where you need your card access to enter it.

Although we had a minor hiccup during the check-in as we thought we bought a breakfast included package, they waived our international phone charges so we can check.

So you are left with a pricey Italian restaurant or the bar lounge next to it that has a cover charge.

We were pretty disappointed when we asked for some milk for tea and the front desk member of staff wanted to charge us for it.

And the lift brings you to any floor without access restrictions.

1 negative is there are only 3 elevators and u could be waiting for a while .

So if the lifts were out of operation, we wouldn’t had been able to use stairs, not very safe really.

There are no escalators to the monorail so be ready to carry your luggage.

Happening #3, I was holding the parcel walking to an opened elevator and was stopped by a staff.

And avoid rooms in front of the elevator since it gets very noisy at the middle of the night and also at early morning.

The one downside is that the hotel elevator smelled like fish.

One more thing, ice is only available on certain floors, so if you like scotch on the rocks in your room enjoying the view in the evening, ask for a room on the level with the ice machine unless you enjoy riding elevators with strangers starring at your ice bucket and your hotel rope.

There were only 2 such elevators and 1 staff so you had to line up if there were more than 2 cars.

Elevators are not coming quickly and crowded in the morning even before check-out rush.

Happy to discover the hotel is next door to the old ceramic making center of Naha with an interesting museum (good English audio guidance) and quaint shops with local pottery.

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Hotel was very pleasant, within walking distance to shops

There are also plenty of rental car shops and car share spots (especially Times) just a few minutes walk away if you want to head out to other parts of the island.

The hotel is located at the famous Kokusai Street where there are lines of colourful shops and restaurants.

There are also some great restaurants within a 10-15 min walk from the hotel, such as Yunangi (great Okinawan food) and Midori Kokusai Main Shop (teppanyaki).

It's only 2-3 minute walk where you can go to 國際通, the wet market and those little tiny streets with domestic shops.

Also, very central location - 3 mins walk to Makishi Market which is a local food market with lots of gems to discover, and 6-7 mins walk to the main shopping street and the rail station.

Check in easy, I was offered to check in online so that minimised the length of time standing at the reception upon check in.

I’m at the club lounge 5/9/22 at 5pm tokyo and set my bag down to reserve  seats for my wife and me and as I was getting some drinks I was surprised to see that someone set down their food at my table and took my seat.

but higher table s would be preferable for eating breakfast.

For the breakfast, it is unacceptable that we had to wait 10 tables before being seated!

Then when we came back after we changed, they weren’t very welcoming instead they just eye balled us up and down and showed us to our table.

but the restaurant is small and the table are close to each other.

but they tend to want to seat everyone close together, probably to make it easier to attend the tables.

During our stay, we didn't need to wait for a table for breakfast.

At breakfast, please stand in line and wait while plenty of empty tables are inside.

Only thing to mention, which did not affect us since we had club lounge access, was a long line of people (about 30 min wait we were told) waiting to get a table for breakfast in the morning on the 2nd floor.

It was evident poor management of the restaurant, as tables were left unoccupied, due to the inability of the service staff to clear them fast enough of used plates.
