We stayed in an apartment which was perfect for a family.

We had a fantastic four day trip to Annebrook recently for a family wedding and had a super stay.

It is so hard to find a room that comfortably accommodates a family with more than 2 children.

Really enjoyed staying in the apartments with my family.

There are lovely nooks for families to enjoy quiet and private eating.

And already have family that now will be booking after hearing our thoughts.

All staff from the receptionist to the breakfast staff were so welcoming and our stay was so stress-free we've already recommended it to our friends and family

I was launching a book in Eason in Mullingar and my family booked six rooms in the Annebrook Hotel.

Would highly recommend to any friend or family.

As a vegan i rang the hotel 2 months in advance as did my sister whose birthday it was to let them know i required a vegan meal, we were have a full sit down meal with our the family aged from 5years upto 65 years.

even though we were not in the hotel we felt we were still part of it, they are excellent for families, friends alike.

Great location , good value spacious accommodation in well designed apartments make the Annabrook our family's first choice hotel in Mullingar.

The apartments at Annebrook Hotel are a great size for family or friends gathering.

We will definitely be heading back when we have another family get together.

Stayed so many times with our young family and it’s always a pleasure .

An amazing hotel, we were treated to an amazing family room that was clean and huge at a very low price, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly , the breakfast was included it was fantastic loads of choice and in a lovely area, the location was perfect with a park next door and a great town for all your needs, highly recommended we will be back.

Good for families, couples and groups of friends.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel would recommend to friends and family.

Central to all shops, bars and everything else,  park and community pool a stone throw away 🙌 great play grounds for the kids in the park.

All services easily accessible and going with my 3 children ages 4, 3 and 6MO the elevator from the parking lot to our room came in so handy as I didn't have to haul all our bags and 3 excited babies through the lobby.

I stayed in Annebrook for 5 nights on business and boy did the staff deliver on my first visit.

Had stayed in the hotel over a decade ago and loved it so I was delighted to return this time with our 3 children.

Apartment was ideal for our 4 year old and baby.

Would highly recommend, great  location on Main Street, clean and food was nice catering to all, park/playground & swimming pool opposite hotel, spent most of our time there entertaining kids.

If your lucky enough to have a balcony, the view coupled with the sound of the little creek is extremely relaxing and having a fully functional kitchen and washing machine made our stay so much more easier when traveling with a autistic child that’s a picky eater and meant we could travel lighter since we could easily wash clothes in comfort.

We stayed in one of the apartments - 3adults and 1 teenager.

but i had promised the kids so where else would we go ( it was 6.30pm)  so down to receiption i went.

The bar staff for dinner were especially accomodating given we were a party of 15 with 7 children children between us.

Lovely park right beside it, brilliant for kids.

Our daughter Ellie who is 3 had great chats with her and Shauna gave her all her time in the busy environment.

Deserts, well the kids eat most of mine so didnt get much of a look in.

This Hotel and apartments are top class,
Anyone who is bringing kids away for a break this is the place to go,
2 playgrounds, a lovely park and a swimming pool right on your door step, 
The Staff is 100% and very friendly, the sort of staff who will have the Craic and a joke with you, 
The food is great and pints of coors are even nicer 👌👌😊😊

Amazing hotel in centre of Mullingar, kids playpark right beside, apartments are great and ease of underground parking with lift access makes everything so easy especially when have 3 small kids.

Kids loved the park view and use of facilities.

Myself and my daughter went here for lunch yesterday and as usual the food was gorgeous it has to be the best carvery in the Midlands and the lady chef as well as a great cook is so friendly i love going there.

The staff are friendly especially the girls on reception they've good aul irish hospitality 😊.

The hotel is right beside a beautiful park with a playpark for children.

Playground and community swimming pool next door meant children were easily entertained.

but the bar/dining layout was a bit poor, more workman’s club than fine dining.

Lovely hotel , loads of little rooms to sit and have a few drinks with nobody to bother you, rooms grand , breakfast was poor

very good hotel with excellent service, really nice food in the carvery situated in berties bar, only downside was the matress on the bed was too hard for me personally and also the tv reception in my room was poor.

Pillows were very uncomfortable therefore poor sleep.

but the noise, the lack of response to calls and emails regarding same is very poor.

However did have one breakfast which was very poor.

The food was lukewarm and the ladies next to us had to send theirs back and then the wsitress came over and had a go at them shouting and really inpleasant so much so oneof the ladies said she darent ask for a spoon !

However the location of the one we were in was quite close to the lift so if you were in the bedroom that was on that side you could hear people passing in the hallway.

There was not too much noise, despite it being school holiday time, apart from at breakfast at least, or when a child very nearly sprayed my elderly father with a water pistol.

Because of the exceptionally high temps (high 20s), we had to leave windows open allowing lots of noise from the public carpark at back of property in up until midnight.

I had asked for a quiet room hoping I would have a room without any neighbours.

Avoid desserts as waited 40 minutes the two times we decided to indulge which nearly ruined the night 

Bedroom was a bit noisy with sounds of other guests at times.

We really did not hear one complaint, nor had we any.

We were put into the apartment block when the person checking us in found out that we had to be up early to get back to Dublin to catch our plane as it would be quieter.

We were advised at check there would be some noise due to an event in the hotel

but this finished at mid night so no noise after that.

It was so noisy we requested a room change.

We were warned on arrival that it might be noisy - an understatement if ever there was one -

On our arrival back to the room the noise outside our window was terrible and it turned out there was a party in full flow and the smoking area  was below our window.

Note it may be noisy into the early hours.

but hotel needs a bit of updating especially in the bathrooms in the rooms
Very busy hotel so guests should expect a  very lively and noisy atmosphere at weekends.

The only disappointment was that the restaurant isn’t open Monday to Thursday, so eating in the bar is the only option - the food was good,

From check in with Dave who couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful to the lovely spacious room and gourmet meal in the Bar.

The staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly everything was perfect from the spacious apartment to the wonderful food in both the bar and the restaurant and have to mention the restaurant manager she was absolutely brilliant.

Room was lovely and the bar food was so nice too.

The food in the bar was fab, lovely fish and chips and chicken supreme was lovely.

Breakfast was served at the buffet, Bar food was excellent.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable.The bar and restaurant were closed due to the covid so we unfortunately cannot comment on the food side of it.The staff were very helpful and the locstion was perfect.

Berty's Bar is nice and spacious with a great bar food menu of restaurant quality.

The food in the bar was a solid 10 we stayed in an apartment attached to it .

Just booked into the annebrook hotel early this morning great staff had a lovely meal in the bar and the covid-19 restrictions are perfect.

Bertie's bar was very lively with a great bar menu for an evening meal.

We ate in the bar, the food was great value, will definitely be returning for those nachos!.

Rooms clean & warm and beds comfortable, so had a good night sleep.

Rooms were immaculate, service was excellent, the food was also amazing.

From arrival to leaving was all very positive, clean rooms, friendly staff, and excellent food.

Annebrook House Hotel is the perfect place for a weekend away .The staff are friendly and helpful.The rooms are spotless and beds very comfortable.

Sitting here having a gin and tonic and a smoke outside quite relaxing.the room is spotless and quite big good selection of TV channels.

Modern, well appointed room and very clean.

I can't recommend this hotel enough.The staff were do polite and friendly across the board.The rooms were clean and comfortable.The restaurant had a nice atmosphere,& the food was excellent.It's in a lovely setting, right next to the river and park.Thank you to all your staff for a very enjoyable stay.

But when i went into other  bedroom, there was cobwebs on the walls with a daddy long legs in 1 of them, the kitchen / sittingroom windows were all cobwebs around the windows.

Also daughter had to sleep in chair next to window as they opened all the way out, lock, chain was broke on window.

Window retainers broken, allowing window to fully open, dangerous.

I don’t know why they bothered as you had to close the curtains to not have someone looking in on you!

I had my window opened for several hours to try let some fresh air in to get rid of the paint fumes

The windows either need resealing, or there is a vent or something in them that I couldn't see because when they were closed the sound coming from outside was just as loud.

The bedroom beside the corridor is impossible to get any sleep in because of a vent which is the same as sleeping with the windows open you can hear every little noise from outside.

Despite the window closed it was like people were in the room with me.

The bathroom is in serious need of a revamp.

If your neighbor is showering at the same time you are you can expect to experience dramatic changes in water temperature.

You do need to bring shower gel and shampoo as these were not in the room due to Covid.

but decor very tired, the carpet had seen better days and was stained  and the hairdryer was only slightly better than standing in a breeze.

The lighting was very poor (ie bulbs needed replacement), there were cobwebs in the bathroom and the finish in general wasn't great.

but the water was cold and despite running the taps for several minutes, it still remained cold - and I had no option but to take a cold shower.

but that happens has other than the smell the bathroom was Cleen will be back has 1 fault should not take away from this place

No heating in bathroom, sink situated outside bathroom in the bedroom area and carpeted underfoot which is very unhygienic, no privacy when using this facility which is unacceptable.

There was what I would describe as a hole in front of the bathroom door, which I almost fell over!

No walk in shower and the bath was the highest I’ve ever come across.

The room itself was dirty with cobwebs above the bed, empty sweet packets on the floor and a bathroom that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last guests left.

but shower curtain ruined it because too short, towels were cheap quality.

Remote off tv broken and chipped bath and cracked toilet seat.

Stayed here for sat nite got to hotel staff very nice  checked in went to room for long shower after long day  travel to end up in a 8x8 box room with onsuite which i decided will have to do too tired to go all way back to reception so went have shower ended up fighting shower curtain due to it being too small just long enoigh to tip top of bath so didnt keep water spraying all over floor which made after the fight wit curtain had to ice skate on wet floor so had shower slippy floor bumping into stuff cause room so small

but the water flow in the shower was very poor.

but come on soap and water and paint don't cost much no turkey or beef just lamb a well the church restaurant was just around the corner and got me steak there all three of us, time too improve this hotel as we are told the ression is over mmm

Receptionist under pressure so not too friendly.

The only improvements I could see were that the grout under the shower above the bath and the trims and seals round the bath could do with being replaced.

There was a strong smell of stale cigarettes and it offered no insulation from the street outside (luckily it was a quiet enough night) and the bathroom was a little cramped.

There's a nice little museum on first floor with wonderful history of the hotel.

They have a small museum upstairs relating to the hotel.

Hotel has it’s own museum, with nice and rare artifacts.

but understandable for its age

but has plenty of areas to sit  The food was nice from the bar There is a carvery here during the day  Staff very friendly  There is a small  museum up stairs (Free) and large smoking area up stairs

The most fascinating thing we found was a mini museum on the upper floor, which exhibited historical artefacts from the bronze age to modern day Ireland!

Went in to see the museum which is upstairs next to the residents lounge.

An interesting place with restaurant, lively bar and even a small museum.

There is also a Museum room with interesting ancient articles and seating, and other unusual  colorfully lit lounges where one could also relax with a drink.

The hotel was beautiful and had many different styles and themes including an actual small museum.

I would definitely recommend this Hotel for a holiday or even a one night stay.The hotel has a roof top garden,a museum,bars on two levels and a very nice spacious restaurant.

The bars downstairs were hospitable & the Magdalene Statue was fascinating as was the little museum.

The hotel itself had a great atmosphere there is a small museum and old world charm about the place.

The windows are wood and old, if it’s windy you’ll hear them rattle and they offer no insulation against sound or weather.

The hotel is on a main street so you do get a little noise from the road

However were kept awake until after 2 am , firstly by a loud disco at a wedding in the hotel and then by a loud altercation that seemed to be security and someone shouting outside our room, really aggressive foul language from someone, it went on until after 2am and then the noise in the street carried on until 4am with the partygoers, so if you want a peaceful stay this is probably not a good choice.

I was tired and slept well until awoken by outside noise.

Unfortunately, my room upstairs at the back overlooked a late bar/club in the same block, not part of the hotel, and was very noisy until late.

My room overlooked the smoking garden so was not quiet and I had to close the window at night which helped dull the noise.

Noise and lack of sound proofing is a given in older provincial hotels and the insistent drumbeat as we passed a dancehall on way to room filled us with foreboding (T).

Our room was in the back of the hotel and it was still very noisy!

My friends were having a quiet drink when they were joined at their table by somebody who began to verbally abuse them.

Unfortunately after 23.15 music got way to loud so we had to leave as the vibrations were affecting our stomachs.

We were given a very small double room with very little sound proofing.

As the room was facing the main street there was a bit of noise in the early hours

Hotel was a little noisy first night because of some kind of generator.

Just be aware that being an older building the walls are paper thin, we were unlucky to have some noisey neighbours who kept us awake

The noise eventually died down at 2.30am.

The bar food was amazing and breakfast which is included in the price was 10/10.

Had dinner in the bar and it was excellent as was the breakfast.

The hotel is quite large, and was very busy when I arrived - bars and restaurants.

Once again lovely tasty bar food served here by friendly efficient and courteous staff.

We have been numerous times to both the restaurant and had bar meals.

It was a nice place to stay, plenty of help from the staff, nice bar with reasonable bar food.

Lovely steak and onion dinner this evening in the bar in Greville Arms.

Restaurant and bar food fantastic too, so tasty and hot.

The food at The Greville Arms has always been and continues to be top notch whether you order bar food or from the restaurant menu.

Had bar food - caeser salad very tasty,  brushetta mediocre.

Location is excellent for all services in the town which boasts plenty of eateries and bars.

Very decent bar food available and resturant if you prefer a more formal setting.

We ate in both the bar and restaurant food was very good..the only negitive thing I'd say about experience was we were on a special package and were giving wrong menu on entering restaurant and it was a bit embarrassing when they were taken from us and we handed different menu on a4 sheet of paper as place was fairly full being Saturday night.

Arrived, checked in and found we had a lovely spacious, spotlessly clean room.

stayed for 3 night as port of a 26 day working trip we had 4 rooms all on the first floor clean rooms

The room itself was clean and well stocked with toiletries.

I stayed there with 3 friends on the 15th July for a girlie night away, the staff were nice, rooms were clean, breakfast the next morning was nice.

Rooms were clean and comfortable , beds were made next day for our second night.great location too nice little village

Beds were comfortable, the room was spotless and the bathroom had an excellent shower.

Rooms were clean and the hotel was very central.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable and unbelievable value!

O also there was a small of cigarettes smoke

Upon entering our room you could immediately smell cigarette smoke.

Cleanliness standard of room was poor   very bad odour in the room   beds were very uncomfortable no sleep was had on stay the mattress seemed years old was hollow ( all 3 in the room were the same )sheet  dirty on one bed .bedcovers hard and generally not comdortable .

However, overall i think for the smell alone I would not stay here again

One of our "no smoking" rooms reaked of smoke.

The rooms are outdated small and smell of smoke, the cleanliness standards are far from acceptable with dirty carpets floors and torn wallpaper everywhere!

A very specially designed hotel with a tiny museum on the second floor and a "smoking" room to chill out with a glass of whiskey that makes you feel you are in a totaly different era.

This Hotel if you could call it that was so awful dark miserable , carpets have seen better days  the room was stinking of cigarettes , bedclothes were old hairy blankets room was tiny .

When I went to my room it stunk of cigarettes, I rang straight down to get air freshener in the room, it was only one night and wasn't going to be there much so didn't want to move rooms.

The one other thing was there was a smoking area right outside our window where people were talking at 4-5am, management should try to avoid this as it woke me up.

but there is a feeling of 70's hotel about the place, entrance from car park has a distinctive old carpet smell.

Booked single room which was dark and dirty skirting boards, carpet not hoovered, money and scraps on floor from previous client(s), dreadful odour from bathroom and water tank kept filling overhead and noise levels in adjacent room so unacceptable I had to ring reception.

To sum it up Dull, Dark, Paint on celing flaking, and carpets filthy dirty.

Our room had lots of dust and debris when you look behind any piece of furniture.

but the area we were sitting in was filthy with dead flies and wasps The cooked breakfast in the morning was cold and scrambled eggs were solid and could not be eaten.Ihave stayed at Greville Arms on many occasions but will not be staying again

Hotel very accessible to the Town and 
Is spotless clean and seems newly refurbished.

The Greville is situated conveniently right in the center of Mullingar town.

Went for dinner as there was nowhere else to eat in town.
