Breakfast was really good, the bacon was lovely and so was the sausage and the service was great.

The room rate is great value, and the breakfast was particularly good.

The food was delicious and the staff were wonderful - very attentive.

Price was great for 4 of us for 2 nights and included breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent and set us up ready for our next leg of our journey.

Our first Irish breakfast has been also one of the best.

Great breakfast lots to choose from and nothing is ever a problem to the staff in the mornings, our young girls love the fresh pancakes 🥞 

Staff are brilliant and friendly and very helpful we have 3 young kids who love coming down here,  my Wife and I absolutely love it.

I had Breakfast the followinh morning and it was by far the best I had in Years ( Raise for Chefs too).

The food was lovely at the  wedding, the bar and breakfast.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed in an apartment which was perfect for a family.

We had a fantastic four day trip to Annebrook recently for a family wedding and had a super stay.

It is so hard to find a room that comfortably accommodates a family with more than 2 children.

Really enjoyed staying in the apartments with my family.

There are lovely nooks for families to enjoy quiet and private eating.

And already have family that now will be booking after hearing our thoughts.

All staff from the receptionist to the breakfast staff were so welcoming and our stay was so stress-free we've already recommended it to our friends and family

I was launching a book in Eason in Mullingar and my family booked six rooms in the Annebrook Hotel.

Would highly recommend to any friend or family.

As a vegan i rang the hotel 2 months in advance as did my sister whose birthday it was to let them know i required a vegan meal, we were have a full sit down meal with our the family aged from 5years upto 65 years.

even though we were not in the hotel we felt we were still part of it, they are excellent for families, friends alike.

Great location , good value spacious accommodation in well designed apartments make the Annabrook our family's first choice hotel in Mullingar.

The apartments at Annebrook Hotel are a great size for family or friends gathering.

We will definitely be heading back when we have another family get together.

Stayed so many times with our young family and it’s always a pleasure .

An amazing hotel, we were treated to an amazing family room that was clean and huge at a very low price, the staff were all extremely helpful and friendly , the breakfast was included it was fantastic loads of choice and in a lovely area, the location was perfect with a park next door and a great town for all your needs, highly recommended we will be back.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel would recommend to friends and family.

Central to all shops, bars and everything else,  park and community pool a stone throw away 🙌 great play grounds for the kids in the park.

All services easily accessible and going with my 3 children ages 4, 3 and 6MO the elevator from the parking lot to our room came in so handy as I didn't have to haul all our bags and 3 excited babies through the lobby.

I stayed in Annebrook for 5 nights on business and boy did the staff deliver on my first visit.

Had stayed in the hotel over a decade ago and loved it so I was delighted to return this time with our 3 children.

Apartment was ideal for our 4 year old and baby.

Would highly recommend, great  location on Main Street, clean and food was nice catering to all, park/playground & swimming pool opposite hotel, spent most of our time there entertaining kids.

If your lucky enough to have a balcony, the view coupled with the sound of the little creek is extremely relaxing and having a fully functional kitchen and washing machine made our stay so much more easier when traveling with a autistic child that’s a picky eater and meant we could travel lighter since we could easily wash clothes in comfort.

We stayed in one of the apartments - 3adults and 1 teenager.

but i had promised the kids so where else would we go ( it was 6.30pm)  so down to receiption i went.

The bar staff for dinner were especially accomodating given we were a party of 15 with 7 children children between us.

Lovely park right beside it, brilliant for kids.

Our daughter Ellie who is 3 had great chats with her and Shauna gave her all her time in the busy environment.

Deserts, well the kids eat most of mine so didnt get much of a look in.

Amazing hotel in centre of Mullingar, kids playpark right beside, apartments are great and ease of underground parking with lift access makes everything so easy especially when have 3 small kids.

Kids loved the park view and use of facilities.

Myself and my daughter went here for lunch yesterday and as usual the food was gorgeous it has to be the best carvery in the Midlands and the lady chef as well as a great cook is so friendly i love going there.

The staff are friendly especially the girls on reception they've good aul irish hospitality 😊.

The hotel is right beside a beautiful park with a playpark for children.

Playground and community swimming pool next door meant children were easily entertained.

but the bar/dining layout was a bit poor, more workman’s club than fine dining.

very good hotel with excellent service, really nice food in the carvery situated in berties bar, only downside was the matress on the bed was too hard for me personally and also the tv reception in my room was poor.

Pillows were very uncomfortable therefore poor sleep.

but the noise, the lack of response to calls and emails regarding same is very poor.

However did have one breakfast which was very poor.

The food was lukewarm and the ladies next to us had to send theirs back and then the wsitress came over and had a go at them shouting and really inpleasant so much so oneof the ladies said she darent ask for a spoon !

However the location of the one we were in was quite close to the lift so if you were in the bedroom that was on that side you could hear people passing in the hallway.

There was not too much noise, despite it being school holiday time, apart from at breakfast at least, or when a child very nearly sprayed my elderly father with a water pistol.

Because of the exceptionally high temps (high 20s), we had to leave windows open allowing lots of noise from the public carpark at back of property in up until midnight.

I had asked for a quiet room hoping I would have a room without any neighbours.

Avoid desserts as waited 40 minutes the two times we decided to indulge which nearly ruined the night

We really did not hear one complaint, nor had we any.

We were put into the apartment block when the person checking us in found out that we had to be up early to get back to Dublin to catch our plane as it would be quieter.

We were advised at check there would be some noise due to an event in the hotel

but this finished at mid night so no noise after that.

It was so noisy we requested a room change.

We were warned on arrival that it might be noisy - an understatement if ever there was one -

On our arrival back to the room the noise outside our window was terrible and it turned out there was a party in full flow and the smoking area  was below our window.

Note it may be noisy into the early hours.

but hotel needs a bit of updating especially in the bathrooms in the rooms
Very busy hotel so guests should expect a  very lively and noisy atmosphere at weekends.

The only disappointment was that the restaurant isn’t open Monday to Thursday, so eating in the bar is the only option - the food was good,

The staff are absolutely amazing and so friendly everything was perfect from the spacious apartment to the wonderful food in both the bar and the restaurant and have to mention the restaurant manager she was absolutely brilliant.

Room was lovely and the bar food was so nice too.

The food in the bar was fab, lovely fish and chips and chicken supreme was lovely.

Breakfast was served at the buffet, Bar food was excellent.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable.The bar and restaurant were closed due to the covid so we unfortunately cannot comment on the food side of it.The staff were very helpful and the locstion was perfect.

Just booked into the annebrook hotel early this morning great staff had a lovely meal in the bar and the covid-19 restrictions are perfect.

Bertie's bar was very lively with a great bar menu for an evening meal.

We ate in the bar, the food was great value, will definitely be returning for those nachos!.

But when i went into other  bedroom, there was cobwebs on the walls with a daddy long legs in 1 of them, the kitchen / sittingroom windows were all cobwebs around the windows.

Also daughter had to sleep in chair next to window as they opened all the way out, lock, chain was broke on window.

Window retainers broken, allowing window to fully open, dangerous.

I don’t know why they bothered as you had to close the curtains to not have someone looking in on you!

I had my window opened for several hours to try let some fresh air in to get rid of the paint fumes

The windows either need resealing, or there is a vent or something in them that I couldn't see because when they were closed the sound coming from outside was just as loud.

The bedroom beside the corridor is impossible to get any sleep in because of a vent which is the same as sleeping with the windows open you can hear every little noise from outside.

Despite the window closed it was like people were in the room with me.

We ate in the bar for dinner and the food was delicious we couldn’t fault anything the service was excellent and breakfast was the same.

One hour by car along the N4 I found this hotel where I paid under 100 euros for a good sized, very comfortable room with breakfast.

The breakfast was delicious and there was a very large selection of foods, even to cater for vegetarians (which is a great relief).

The breakfast buffet had dirty utensils to serve the food and staff coughing near the food rather than stepping away.

Breakfast was good and we enjoyed dinner- at a reasonable price- in the modern bar.

An excellent hotel with a traditional welcome,  you guys should be proud well done keep up the good work 👏

The hotel also facilitated us with a private Breakfast Area for our large family especially to protect our precious Centenarian!

We had breakfast which was a high standard,and then we headed to the spa.

Breakfast tasty especially the scrambled egg.

Breakfast every day was first class and my eldest son of 6 especially enjoyed the Nutella and pancakes.

The next day, heads worse for wear, a lovely breakfast in a spacious dining room followed an early swim in the gorgeous leisure centre.

Highlights were the warm fresh delicious scones and the dessert plate in it's entirety. Yum😋.

Crunchy crispy duck spring rolls - so perfect crunch with umami hoi sin.

The food was delicious, huge compliment to the chefs and kitchen staff.

The grounds are beautiful too, From check in to check out it was 5* we will definitely return

I will be back to enjoy the beautiful grounds of this hotel, the spa and pool and would recommend stopping by nearby Belvedere House which has a wonderful salacious history.

Just back from another stay at this gem of a hotel..cannot fault it .. location is relaxing and peaceful.with the lake on the grounds ..the rooms are so comfortable and cosy.. restaurant food is so so nice .lovely relaxing dining room .

We enjoyed the walks around the grounds and look forward to going back again.

Bloomfield Hotel is set on beautiful scenic grounds overlooking Lough Ennell.

Our room allocation was beautiful, overlooking the lovely grounds and lake.

Since Saturday we have been inundated with compliments about the food, the staff, the hotel grounds and all facilities!

Grounds are beautiful, loads of parking spaces.

And after that we grabbed coffees in the outdoor coffee shack to have while we walked around the beautiful grounds.

We have just had an excellent stay in Bloomfield House Hotel  The staff were excellent and very helpful  Reception staff told us of various places to visit Lovely grounds with an excellent lakeside walk

A great hotel, with superb and friendly staff, set on beautiful grounds.

The grounds of the hotel was lovely, loads of tables to sit out and football goals for kids and small playground.

The decor is so beautiful and the room was so cosy plus the kids loved the bunk beds.

It was wonderful to spend our last night outside of Dublin at a family resort on a lake with a huge expanse of grass for kids to run on (not that many were).

Booked this on short notice for our family of 2 adults & 2 kids (3 & 1).

Our daughter had a ball at the kids club from 5.30 to 9 each evening which left us to enjoy the excellent food in the restaurant and bar.

Outside was super children orientated with playground and large green area to play on.

2 weeks before you can get any spa treatment and the pool is just full of kids.

Still, a nice stay overall and would recommend particularly for families with young kids.

It was big and spacious and the children loved it.

Stayed 1 night in the hotel with my 6 year old daughter, we both had such a lovely time.

For a 4 star hotel the service standards were abysmal, a lot of teenage or young staff who clearly need training.

The kids club helped out a lot with the younger children so parents could enjoy their meal and chat.

A Complimentary Champagne Reception was provided on our Arrival and also Complimentary Suite with lake Views for the Birthday Girl!

We had a dairy intolerant child, and 2 Vegans.

The girls there were lovely, very knowledgeable.

The children had a great timed in the pool also.

We stayed Saturday night with my two kids so we were in the room alot.

It was so suitable for children as well as an adult break away.

Excellent facilities at the hotel including the pool and health suite to entertain any child and adult.

With its other facilities of a Spa, Fitness center and child friendly pool, I recommend to everyone traveling around Ireland.

Being only an hours drive from Dublin airport, (or in our case Irish Ferries port) we had pre-booked our evening meal in their restaurant, which has lovely view of their garden and grounds down to the shore of Lough Ennell.

The hotel is on the shore of lough Ennell and has nice walkways and a pretty lakeside gazebo.

We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing few days in Bloomfield House Hotel overlooking the mesmerising Lough Ennell.

We also love to take country walks along the nearby Royal Canal, the disused railway line at Castletown station, plus enjoy the view of Lough Ennell at Lilliput.

The hotel is off the beaten track overlooking Lough Ennell, nice reception area with comfortable seating pleasent bar area.

This will not stop us returning for more delicious food and to see lovely Lough Ennell in another season.

The room was lovely, very clean, tea making facilities, hair dryer, iron, lovely bathroom.The Hotel is set in lovely grounds, views of Lough Ennell, Spa, swimming pool etc.we had magnificent sunsets over the Lough.you can walk down to the Lough and sit and watch the wildlife, fishermen on their boats.very peaceful location.

The grounds were delightful and the hotel is on the edge of Lough Ennell.

What a fantastic place with beautifully kept grounds overlooking Lough Ennell even at this time of year.

The hotel is located alongside Lough Ennell and there is a path down towards it from the back of the hotel if you want to see it closer or would like a walk.

A group of 14 women spent a very special class reunion weekend in Bloomfield House Hotel and, from beginning to end, we were treated royally. The rooms, food and service were all first class and the facilities in the hotel, including the spa, were brilliant.The setting of the hotel with beautiful gardens and grounds on the shores of Lough Ennell was spectacular (helped in no small way by the sun shining!)

The hotel is on a fantastic site on Lough Ennell just outside Mullingar.

The hotel has a lovely location by Lough Ennell lake, and is very close to the wonderful Belvedere House & Gardens.

Pillows thin, very few and duvets cheap and nasty -the sort you would expect on a ferry cabin or 2* hotel.

It was a disgusting habitat to sleep in, all three woke up the following morning with a sense of clinging filth.

The one criticism I’d have was that there is a function room attached to the bar for weddings, the wedding guests had to walk through the busy bar to get outside to smoking area and there wasn’t many wedding guests I saw wearing masks while walking around.

The smoking area is located at the front of the hotel so all the rooms at the front of the hotel that overlook this area are subject to late night noise.

but it is such a dated and musty feeling room.

The suite (309) is poorly located over the smoking area, noisy at night until early hours.

Our room smelt very musty and the carpets were pretty dirty.

Three days worrying and coping with the smell and heat, meant we both felt unwell.

Unfortunately it was positioned just above the smoking area downstairs which meant it had beautiful views of the lake

Food in bar disgusting, mostly frozen, paid €61 for food and drinks and left and drove into the town for take out.

The corridor stairs up to bedrooms Iv never smelt a fusty damp smell like it I was nearly sick everytime upon entering these.

but the smell of sewerage was disgusting and is most of putting.

The bathroom is in serious need of a revamp.

If your neighbor is showering at the same time you are you can expect to experience dramatic changes in water temperature.

You do need to bring shower gel and shampoo as these were not in the room due to Covid.

but decor very tired, the carpet had seen better days and was stained  and the hairdryer was only slightly better than standing in a breeze.

The lighting was very poor (ie bulbs needed replacement), there were cobwebs in the bathroom and the finish in general wasn't great.

but the water was cold and despite running the taps for several minutes, it still remained cold - and I had no option but to take a cold shower.

but that happens has other than the smell the bathroom was Cleen will be back has 1 fault should not take away from this place

No heating in bathroom, sink situated outside bathroom in the bedroom area and carpeted underfoot which is very unhygienic, no privacy when using this facility which is unacceptable.

There was what I would describe as a hole in front of the bathroom door, which I almost fell over!

No walk in shower and the bath was the highest I’ve ever come across.

The room itself was dirty with cobwebs above the bed, empty sweet packets on the floor and a bathroom that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last guests left.

but shower curtain ruined it because too short, towels were cheap quality.

Remote off tv broken and chipped bath and cracked toilet seat.

Stayed here for sat nite got to hotel staff very nice  checked in went to room for long shower after long day  travel to end up in a 8x8 box room with onsuite which i decided will have to do too tired to go all way back to reception so went have shower ended up fighting shower curtain due to it being too small just long enoigh to tip top of bath so didnt keep water spraying all over floor which made after the fight wit curtain had to ice skate on wet floor so had shower slippy floor bumping into stuff cause room so small
