The hotel is close to Albert Park golf course so we went to play mini golf.

Located close to Albert Park and a short walk to the Alfred Hospital and the popular Chapel Street.

Hotel is situated close to Albert Park Lake and only minutes away from tram stop to take you into the  Melbourne CBD.

Easy tram in both ways and walking distance to Albert park.

Close to Albert Park Lake and Albert Park Golf course.

We also like the closeness of Albert Park Lake for exercise.

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed its proximity to Albert Park and Lake, with St Kilda, Prahran and the CBD an easy tram-ride away.

Spectacular view from a City View room and a blissful night's sleep at a price tag that didn't break the bank.

We were able to upgrade without any problem to a view of the city skyline from our room.

They also gave me a nice city view that overlooks the park and Albert Park lake.

The view of the City is great by night or day, especially the mornings when the hot air balloons are aloft.

We used the rooftop spa which has great views of the city and there is free parking on the surrounding streets on the weekend.

The hotel lived up to its name because we had a beautiful view of the city looking over the cricket ground.

Our stay here was excellent, good size room, great location with a city view, close to trams and Albert Park Lake friendly staff, easy parking on site, two restaurants on site, wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

The location of the hotel was great with a view of the city, and an uber to the city was cheap.

Everything is old and worn out including carpets, rooms, bathrooms, facilities, lifts and carpark.

Unfortunately on arrival issues with lift from basement carpark that required us to walk up the car ramp with our luggage.

Room also located right next to the elevator was very noisy as there was no soundproofing.

Unfortunately my husband was stuck in the lift for an hour.

Lift was broken causing a school of girls to be slamming the stairs doors right through the night, right outside our corner room, this caused me and my partner 4 sleepless nights despite asking to be moved.

One lift is out of service so there is only one lift for the entire hotel.

Unfortunately for us the lifts were not functioning or patchy during our stay and we had to use stairs  several times.

Only one lift operating in a 9 floor hotel, extreme bad experience at check-out where the staff billed wrong cards and put multiple rooms to my card (charged SEK 43,000 instead of SEK 8,500!!

Only one working lift which meant a lot of time spent waiting and apparently no stairs to use (I asked reception).

The hotel has 1 operating elevator which takes a very long time to catch, especially at peak times, like check in.

One of the negative points was that only one lift was working for the 9 floor hotel which meant you either wait long time or use the stairs.

If you like standing waiting for the lift to come with a group of people you don't know,

When I checked in the lady didn't even let me know what floor my room was on, nor where the elevator was.

She only answer: that elevator is moody. Seriously!?

it's actually an insult to my intelligence in saying so, would I stay again , NO they would need to lift their game and fix these current issues, as Melb is a Hotel Mecca and I can just go elsewhere.

The changes in the hotel are really starting to take shape from our previous stay the lifts are such an improvement.

Access to tram on the main road that leads up to the city centre or even a cheap and quick Uber ride also.

10min tram ride into cbd makes it easy to spend the day in town and travel back in the evening.

We stayed at View Melbourne whilst I did the Around the Bay in a Day bike ride.

Perfect location with just a short tram ride to the centre of Melbourne.

You can’t beat the location as your so close to a lot of the tourist areas like Chapel St shopping and Chadstone Mall is just a short uber ride away, there’s also an IGA right across the road for all your essentials if need be.

It's a short tram ride into the city and a ten dollar uber fare into St Kilda.

Very nice hotel in a great location close to Trams, a 10 minute ride into Melbourne CBD.

A little bit out of the CBD made it better value and much better views than central hotels and an easy tram ride into the CBD.

The location is a nice 15 minute tram ride from Flinders Street and the room I stayed in offered a lovely view over the cricket field and tennis court along with some partial city views.

Simple and effective rooms which are clean & comfortable with a plenty storage in the wardrobes and cupboards plus mini bar and room service accessible.

We had a good sleep bed's good ☺️but not quality cleaning,a lot of dust around the room, fridge wasn't working to standard,and a lot of cobwebs on the balcony around window, apart' from this, manager was nice to give late check out and complimentary breakfast, and we were charged for water that we didn't use 😪

The room was clean, fresh looking and the beds were comfortable, with a roomy shower.

The amenities such as the pool and spa  were great the rooms were clean and spacious .

The fridge was filthy and stained had smearson the inside.

but unfortunately it was in a filthy state with a discarded ice cream punnet on the ground, and ice cream splattered on the glass doors between the room and the balcony.

I can’t believe they get people to smoke by the hotel entry.

We notified reception that someone was smoking in a room near ours,

we dont like people smoking outside the restaurants .

To double check this I thought I would have a smell of it, much to my horror I confirmed it was in fact poo.

There was Hoya slightly strange smell in the room, which was a bit unpleasant.

The only negatives - one of our friends room had an unpleasant smell (wet carpet type smell) and due to hotel being fully booked there was no option to move rooms.

My only complain , pillows are very flat and smelly.

Great Hotel to stay near Albert Park and nice staff and great services.

The hotel is in a great spot being close to the Albert Park, Fitzroy St and St Kilda Rd

Location is good, right on Albert Park and reasonably close to public transport.

Walkable to Albert Park, Middle Park, South Yarra , South Melbourne and St Kilda.

The Pullman by Albert Park is in a lovely setting being close to Albert Park.

This hotel is well located for walking in Albert Park plus is close to trams which travel into the city.

but the location is a little bit out of central Melbourne (but excellent for runners /early morning swimmers) given location close to Albert Park.

Once we got back to our room after dinner the air con in our room was not working.

but if you are looking for large, quiet rooms and location near Albert Park, then the Pullman would be a great pick.

There were plenty of facilities for taking a walk or for a job near and around the Albert Park Lake.

When I booked the Pullman, I booked the Deluxe Room with access to the Executive Lounge.

Stayed at the Pullman for 2 nights , booked executive lounge access room, upgraded to a Lakeview room, the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in.

At under $150 per night, Platinum members receive access to the Executive lounge and very acceptable breakfast which makes it one of the best value offerings in Melbourne.

I was especially well looked after on this visit by Kathy, who was working in the Executive Lounge.

Was given a floor on the 9th floor right next to the executive lounge.

Most memorable of our stay is the friendly staff in the executive lounge in particular Kathy and Alice.

Food , amenities and service in the executive lounge were also lovely it’s a very pleasant space to relax and unwind.

Very comfortable room with everything you need and with a lovely view over the lake..the executive lounge was fabulous and we were looked after superbly by Kathy who was such a delightful lady and obviously an expert at her job..food was great too..I will be back!

I have stayed at the Pullman Mercure a few times on business trips, and have always found the hotel & conference facilities clean, pleasant surroundings and easy.

It has good conference facilities and the gym is pretty good (not huge)

I only drink New Zealand wine, cost was $17.00 for 150ml glass and $70.00 a bottle, I bought 3 bottles of decent NZ wine at the local urban supermarket for $54.00

For the price we paid I was disappointed ☹️

4) was told that buffet breakfast is $25 and was charged $38.

Use of car park not explained properly as 20 dollar fee for one use only caused time concerns.

The Club was closed for a few days (cost cutting) & we were directed to the hotel bar for our first confrontation; we managed to get drinks & "a bar snack" each then went out for a meal.

I wonder if everyone else from the corporate games had to pay extra.

Paid Parking is available. Car can be parked on street as well for limited timings (See the Timings and follow the signs.)

Restaurant has a limited and boaring menu, it is also overpriced.

It was not until we got there that we found that it came at a cost of $20 - discounted from the casual rate

Price seemed pretty standard (I.e not cheap).

We also had a bed and breakfast package only to be told at breakfast that "No you don't ma'am, the cost will be $$$" so I had to once again go back to reception, which was already getting busy before checkout, to be told the same from the receptionist.

(We are from Qld so didn't realise this)   The room rate was high and the experience  certainly didn't reflect the price.

Paid for club lounge access which was a bit of a let down compared to other hotel lounge access I have experienced.

You can probably get something nicer closer to the CBD - and for the same price.

Ridiculously overpriced car parking at $32 per day.

I’m an Accor Gold, and paid for one the most expensive rooms, only to get a SINGLE BED AGAINST THE WALL!

To start with a positive, I can say that the room was clean.

Lovely room  very clean and well presented great facilities, staff were very helpful even able to find me a pair of scissors at short notice.

but the rooms inside were clean but missing a baby bed.

The rooms were clean and spacious and they accommodated our request for 2 rooms close together for my parents to help with my children.

Stayed here for a conference - the rooms used for this were well-appointed and the hotel is definitely designed to hold large groups.

The rooms are clean and modern, I was on the 6th floor so it was nice & quiet 🤫 there is undercover parking at $20 a night.

The rooms are always very clean, comfortable beds, bath with shower above.

The food from room service was amazing, and the room was clean and well presented when we arrived.

the room was very clean, I did online check in, so it was pretty quick to get a key.

3) The rooms are clean and modern with views of Albert Park

The cons - 1) My biggest gripe is the maintenance issue of my room.

Our room was very clean and well appointed.

Called reception for assistance with internet connection being not available and after called back 20 minutes later and told could not offer assistance until following morning.

but the 'smart tv' wasn't connected to the internet and the walls were paper thin.

4) wifi in the room was terrible, I had to connect to my mobile device hotspot.

Wi-Fi of this hotel is strong, supports 3 devices and does not disconnect in corridors or meeting rooms.

No free WiFi which is always disappointing.

After expressing our frustration they decided to deduct the wifi fee

Internet super slow for basic work needs.

Rhett Constantine, the Chief Concierge, resolved the wi-fi issues I was having and put up with multiple requests for assistance in the true spirit of "Hospitality".

I had the same experience with the reception on a few other occasions when I had to ask for information and also trying to reach them on the phone for internet information.

It was also disappointing that the hotel did not offer free wifi service

The most frustrating part of my stay was the non-existent WiFi.

I did have to ask about the wi fi, where and when was breakfast and later returned to ask for a receipt for my credit card charge on arrival.

but again Australia iss very poor at providing good fast & free internet to hotel guests.

No free internet was a bit of a drag and the TV channels didn't all work all of the time which was mildly annoying

There was no internet service in the room for all 5 nights - down all the time and when I asked for help, I basically was ignored.

Only complaint I would say is that Wifi was poor despite purchasing the recommended package (fastest speed).
