The building is round and all the rooms are on the outer rim, so are shaped like pizza slices, with the bathroom being a tight squeeze in the inner side.

The bathroom is old, it worked the toilet and shower (only a problem about the light, didn't work, otherwise it was solved on the same day).

The shower wasn´t good and the water was cold.

Food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is OK.

but I managed to warm it up by keeping the fan heater on.

The wifi was sufficient, the bed and bedding comfortable and the catering was excellent – as a vegetarian I always found something delicious, especially the wide selection of salads, fruits and desserts, plus something nice to be found amongst the mains.

Decent food, served as buffets with an accepable variety for different tastes.

However, the décor and fittings are rather tired: more like ‘majestic’ 60 years ago,

Now for the bad (and this really depends on your needs): the hotel and rooms are very, very noisy; children are everywhere with their general scream/crying styles;

The Majestic may not have the awareness and profile of some of the more centrally-located -- and more glam -- properties in Aguas de Lindoia,

though air conditioning was noisy in some of the meeting rooms, and the projectors, microphones and screen locations were not the very best.

Try to avoid the rooms near de stairs or the elevator, they are noisy.

The old wing need a new renovation, the rooms in this area still have old tv's.

The only slight irritation was having to pay for drinks, even water and coffee, in addition to the full board.

The price of the hotel is not on par with those settings, as is not the charge for water (no free water whatsoever in the hotel - despite your being in a "water town"); finally the charge for the pinballs and electronic games should also be included in the overall rate as the hotel has a supposed full-board scheme.

Only at the top, a block shy of the hotel, is there a public-access font spouting the local mineral water.

Pousada do Riacho de Areia has a bathtub inside the bedroom, breakfast with fruits and awesome countryside home cooked meal and cakes and sleeping Brazilian net  with great internet too!

I would suggest for the visitor of this "Resort" to land his expectation to ground.

Very Disapointed with the quality of food as it supposed to be at a resot level.

but why not just eat and drink there and spend the weekend enjoying the facilities?

Rooms in the first tower have only ceiling fans,

The two jacuzzis are AWESOME and usually empty, you have to pay 20 reais per hour,

The Hotel itself could use some renovation and more attention to the external areas,

The heated pool is WAY TOO SMALL for a hotel with 175 rooms; it is only for the kids do not attempt to use it.

I travel all over the world, I'm a Marriott Platinum Member, and a have never experienced a Buffet-like this anywhere!

But the entire city actually is surronded by mountains they have only one street leveled.

but to those without cars, keep in mind it is a very uneven city, I'm used to walk a lot in my city (São Paulo) which everybody knows is quite a big one, and I got very tired to get to the hotel.
