AMEX should remove Fairmont Tremblant from its fine hotels and resorts list.

On getting to our room we try to log onto the internet, Despite being an Accor we find it impossible to gain access without having to pay an additional charge.

Anyone booking a 2 Bedroom suite via Amex or Virtuoso should be aware that normally you get breakfast for 2 people per bedroom.

I would really expect better service from a hotel that is charging more than $500 per night per room.

Oh, when they checked us in to the Junior King Suite, they charged my credit card the price of the King Suite, not the lower price.

By upgrading us to a suite, providing a daily dining credit, and providing daily breakfast in the restaurant or IRD, they are trying to make up for the lack of Fairmont Gold.

The Fairmont is charging a premium (5x the cost of anywhere else on the property) and the rundown condition of the property, lack of access to amenities, and poorly coordinated staff, result in an experience that provides less than zero value for your dollar.

However, I was overcharged at a total close to $100 from the restaurant, cafeteria and the room, during my one night stay.

If you order stuff and it goes over the limit, you will be charged extra.

When I was checking out, she didn't know how to input my card number manually, and had me waiting while she was reading a manual in a binder.

At Fairmont you are paying for the location and service over a fancy room which is the exact balance you need with extra gear and ski boots everywhere.

It’s 2022, and we are still charging for WiFi.

Wish they could bury that fee in the room charge.

Furthermore I was appalled that the New Years Eve menu charges $250 per person (plus tax and gratuity)

They charge almost $20 A DAY for wifi! When paying $500 a night, wifi should most definitely be included (I mean, it's 2021!)

but the front desk needs a refresher in customer service and billing.

To boot that they added another families restaurant bill charge to mine.

butt in the garbage the next morning, I was informed that I would be charged a $500 penalty, and that the entire hotel was non-smoking.

Winds N Waters packed up the car, with skis and all the equipment,armed with a VISA, we set off to Mont-Tremblant.

Great breakfast every morning with wonderful, friendly woman that made the best Omelets!

The beds are super comfortable, staff are very friendly, food is high quality and location is top notch.

The front service personnel are friendly.

Our server Jean-Sébastien was very friendly.

Amenities include pool/hot tub, several restaurants, a spa and fitness centre.

I especially loved the outdoor hot tubs with the cold fall air.

The   huge outdoor hot tub is wonderful, nice indoor pool, hot tub, sauna,  fitness center.

Hot tub and pool wasn’t overcrowded which is a plus.

The hot tubs/pools outside and sauna were so relaxing.

The hot tubs outside face the hill and have plenty of space.

The hotel offers several 4 seasons pools and a hot tub which are a great way to unwind after a day of snow boarding, a must if you are staying at this property.

The pool was warm - 86F and the hot tub was at 97F - PERFECT.

It makes us feel comfortable as you are guaranteed that the pools won’t be too busy and clustered

Our room was comfortable, and the pools and hot tubs were impressive.

The hotel has both indoor and outdoor pools, with hot tubs outside as well.

Aside from the convenience of the ski in and out and the pool and hot tub, which my 11 year old loved, it was unremarkable.

Good snow conditions followed by a relaxing time in the best hot tubs at the mountain and a tasty meal in the  renovated restaurant and bar made this a great start for the ski season and we look forward to returning..

The pool and hot tub area were fantastic and the highlight of the trip.

I love the the fact that they have an outside and inside pool/hot tubs area.

It was the same at the pool, ( enjoyed the pool and the hot tub) at reception, at the cafe, the concierges and the valets.

There’s a lot of renovation underway at the hotel where a new outdoor pool is being built.

This offered a lot more space and light and a nice view of the outdoor pool and terrace (after they finish renovating it

The front desk gave us access cards to the gym, indoor cedar sauna and indoor + outdoor pools so we could access them after checkout, which we really appreciated.

Whilst the outdoor pool was open & hydra pool was open one day closed the next doing maintenance.

The outdoor pool was nice and they had numerous activities for the kids, like movies and a game room.

The outdoor pools are picturesque,  clean and wonderful.

They have a heated indoor and outdoor pool.

The staff were friendly and efficient and the outdoor pools were a benefit.

We had a nice experience at the spa and the variety of outdoor pools was impressive.

Absolutely wonderful, staff so friendly and kind, rooms (ours were at the basic level) so comfortable and luxurious, outdoor pool and hot tubs out of this world.

Tremblant is a charming ski village and the hotel has much to make your ski trip wonderful..ski in/out, a very warm yr round outdoor pool and hot tub and great ski locker/rental service on site.

Wifi should be included in the price though, I was trying to sign up for the All Access membership

Given it was August I feel this was a miss
The village restaurants and activities are also becoming very expensive!

The rooms are nothing like they advertised and it is very expensive for what you get.

Car parking at the hotel costs 45$ plus taxes a day,

As with any luxury offering or price point, be sure to over deliver as that is the luxury along with the product or service.

Dinner at the Quintessential Hotel down the road was expensive

In room dining was costly and not what we asked for .

Breakfast for 2 people added up to $100 incl taxes, which is crazy.

We paid $50 for late checkout at 2pm ($25/hour).

but we would charged the same rate as the king suite.

Honestly the experience was not the best and for me wasn’t worth the cost that we paid for the activity.

Quite expensive, with a bottle of water in the deli/snack bar costing $8.

but this was Four Seasons pricing and a sub-Motel Six experience.

So just be prepared, everything in this hotel has resort pricing.

Front desk gave out home made dog treats.

Having been looking forward to staying here for many months it came as a shock the superficial manner of the service here.

However, the food was fabulous, with a huge selection and attentive service.

We drive and EV and it was plugged in for us without question after the valet took our vehicle to the parking garage.

Concierge sent us out to a few good places.

Literally from the moment you arrive to the time your drive away the staff are there to handle everything you require.

Overall it was still a good relaxing holiday for us, hotel staffs were nice, restaurant was great, perfect location too within the village

The heated outdoor swimming pool is completely renovated with a view of the slopes.

The sunset view from our room was stunning.

The room was clean and the ski hill view fun to watch.

In my view, this was the greatest asset of this hotel.

The location is great with beautiful views.

It was a very pleasant 60 minute hike in the forest to see some water falls on the mountain which I later revisited with my family when they finally arrived later in the day.

- If you've not paid a premium rate for a room, good luck with getting "a view".

Our room had a beautiful view of the village and pool which I really enjoyed.

We were fortunate to get a room with a view of the pedestrian village and it was lovely.

Spent 2 night in a Fairmont View Room, which provided a beautiful view of Mont Tremblant.

The friendly, warm and kind ski room attendants make the flow of getting on and off the mountain even that much sweeter.

Definitely did not take design inspiration from this stay! Just ignored the fact the rooms were so ugly and focused on the beautiful view and pool:)

First off, staff was friendly and overall very helpful.

Nice place and friendly staff, good breakfast, we rent sky equipment and we can’t enjoy because the check out is at 11:00 and they don’t help us to extend for a couple hours ….

An off season getaway to Mont-Tremblant - we checked in on a Thursday so it was very quiet, front desk staff were bilingual, friendly and checking was fast.

However the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

While most probably would have loved that, we weren’t going to use the hot tub and preferred a different location.

There is also 2 hot tubs outside that you have access to.

It was great to be able to ski right to the front door of the hotel and soak in the hot tub every night.

Another suggestion is bring a robe, and slides so you can go to the hot tub, they provide towels there.

The hot tubs were a great perk and we got to make all the people on the cabriolet jealous of our après-ski game.

The secret to the rooms:  
- Odd Numbered Rooms are mountainside, with a patio/balcony facing the pool/hot tubs.

I guess partying is more important than guests paying $$$$ here.

We were kept awake until well after 200 with music blaring Friday and Saturday nights.

Suite 323A having two extremely old ventilation units, noise coming out of them was overwhelming and given an external HUGE fireplace was indirectly heating the suite, impossible to sleep the whole night.

although the dishwasher was noisy as was the fan in the bathroom of room 130.

but stay like 10 or 12 per room very noisy and no control from security, some guest were smoking, we had to re-install the dishwasher machine rubber seal ourself.

My room was 109, first floor no view, ground floor, it was a quiet room, and the view was not the best.

although the walls were thin so it was noisy.

Sure, the party noise of the village can leak through -

Awful thumping disco noise until the small hours.

If you have noisy neighbours that keeps on slamming their door when they enter/exit can make it for a long stay.

We were placed in a noisy location and it was difficult to be heard by the front desk or make any changes to either our room or our bill.

The noise during the night was overwhelming.

This was the first ski holiday that we have not suffered noise problems - possibly due to the pool view room

The A/C in the rooms was also very noisy and on the colder days we found it totally inadequate.

We were also located right beside the elevator which should have been a noisy spot

but the end the idea of leaving the windows open was not great, with the noise from the nearby jacuzzi.

Luckily, the sounds did not seem to be a problem in the evening time.

You can actually hear the foot steps from above & the sounds of neighboring voices.

We are a family of 4 that reserved 2 nights at this hotel to ski at Mont-Tremblant.

Take the gondola up to the top of the village/base of the mountain to ski or board ,at the end of day ski right to the hotel.

The other plus is that after a long day of skiing you can literally ski all the way down to the hotel entrance.

Great hotel in the heart of the Ski Resort.

The hotel is designed to give an experience of an upscale ski resort, which it conveys very well.

The breakfast is buffet style with sufficient choice (including the normal waffle making machines you expect to find in a Canadian ski hotel).

The resort was great and close enough to mountain that you could ski up to the hotel and walk to the mountain or take the little gondola to base.

Tremblant is a lovely ski resort in the beautiful laurentian mountains and our stay with Marriott made it very comfortable.

Always wanted to stay in a beautiful hotel right in amongst a ski village, where I can snowboard literally right up to the front door, with a big hot breakfast in the morning and great long ski runs.

The location in the pedestrian village is perfect, easy to get to the slopes and you can ski back right to the hotel.

Yes, a Marriott hotel in a ski village wants you to leave hundreds of pounds worth of equipment outside overnight????

Hotel provides you ski locks if you don't have them for free.

My husband was able to ski right down to the hotel at the end of the day.

The hotel is a ski in hotel and a very short walk to the cabriole that leaves at the base of the gondola.

Front desk team always helpful and polite and it is nice to ski in and out of the hotel .Gondola is 3 min walk from your suite.. Breakfast was excellent!

Since it was our very first time in a Ski resort (there's no snow nor skiing in our country), we looked for a good place for our family of four (not far from the slopes, comfortable room, good price).

Stayed here as a solo traveller from the UK, skiing for the week.

This hotel has a great location (literally a couple of minutes to skiing and restaurants)  and fantastic staff.

It’s nice to have a warm fire after a day of skiing.

We had a view of the side street and we could see skiers skiing near our room when finished for the day.

For skiing, you walk down what is about a city block to the town cable car that takes you to the base of the ski mountain or otherwise the top side of the village.

We returned from a long day of skiing at approximately 4 pm.

Both TVs had YouTube and Netflix apps meaning we could keep well entertained after the skiing had finished.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay in a 1-bedroom suite while skiing at Tremblant.

The hotel is clean, staff was  wonderful, the location is excellent and we enjoyed walking in the village every day after skiing to eat or shop.

Overall a great stay, very happy with the hotel and it's situated in a great location for both skiing and wandering around Tremblant, it's ski into (weather permitting)

After much trawling of TA reviews we decided upon The Residence Inn for 5 days skiing in Tremblant.

The midweek skiing was great the second day with blue skies and warmer weather.

The outdoor hot tubs were an excellent way to relax after a long day of skiing.

The hot tubs were easy to access and available after skiing.

On this trip I was on a father/daughter skiing trip.

The staff were wonderful and the service excellent.

The hotel staff are accomodating, even grand us to move a room right beside the rest of our group.

The meals are excellent and the service is great and the staff is bilingual.

but we informed front desk and it was done while we went out to eat.

Staff were very helpful and took care of a beeping fire alarm in a timely fashion.

The next day, I have to say that staff gave us a nice suite
