AMEX should remove Fairmont Tremblant from its fine hotels and resorts list.

On getting to our room we try to log onto the internet, Despite being an Accor we find it impossible to gain access without having to pay an additional charge.

Anyone booking a 2 Bedroom suite via Amex or Virtuoso should be aware that normally you get breakfast for 2 people per bedroom.

I would really expect better service from a hotel that is charging more than $500 per night per room.

Oh, when they checked us in to the Junior King Suite, they charged my credit card the price of the King Suite, not the lower price.

By upgrading us to a suite, providing a daily dining credit, and providing daily breakfast in the restaurant or IRD, they are trying to make up for the lack of Fairmont Gold.

The Fairmont is charging a premium (5x the cost of anywhere else on the property) and the rundown condition of the property, lack of access to amenities, and poorly coordinated staff, result in an experience that provides less than zero value for your dollar.

However, I was overcharged at a total close to $100 from the restaurant, cafeteria and the room, during my one night stay.

If you order stuff and it goes over the limit, you will be charged extra.

When I was checking out, she didn't know how to input my card number manually, and had me waiting while she was reading a manual in a binder.

At Fairmont you are paying for the location and service over a fancy room which is the exact balance you need with extra gear and ski boots everywhere.

It’s 2022, and we are still charging for WiFi.

Wish they could bury that fee in the room charge.

Furthermore I was appalled that the New Years Eve menu charges $250 per person (plus tax and gratuity)

They charge almost $20 A DAY for wifi! When paying $500 a night, wifi should most definitely be included (I mean, it's 2021!)

but the front desk needs a refresher in customer service and billing.

To boot that they added another families restaurant bill charge to mine.

butt in the garbage the next morning, I was informed that I would be charged a $500 penalty, and that the entire hotel was non-smoking.

Winds N Waters packed up the car, with skis and all the equipment,armed with a VISA, we set off to Mont-Tremblant.

Amenities include pool/hot tub, several restaurants, a spa and fitness centre.

I especially loved the outdoor hot tubs with the cold fall air.

The   huge outdoor hot tub is wonderful, nice indoor pool, hot tub, sauna,  fitness center.

Hot tub and pool wasn’t overcrowded which is a plus.

The hot tubs/pools outside and sauna were so relaxing.

The hot tubs outside face the hill and have plenty of space.

The hotel offers several 4 seasons pools and a hot tub which are a great way to unwind after a day of snow boarding, a must if you are staying at this property.

Ski valet and hot tubs and pools at the base of the mountain.

The pool was warm - 86F and the hot tub was at 97F - PERFECT.

It makes us feel comfortable as you are guaranteed that the pools won’t be too busy and clustered
- The pool/hot tub area is very large and holds a lot of people.

Our room was comfortable, and the pools and hot tubs were impressive.

The hotel has both indoor and outdoor pools, with hot tubs outside as well.

Great outdoor pool, hot tub, towel service.

Aside from the convenience of the ski in and out and the pool and hot tub, which my 11 year old loved, it was unremarkable.

Good snow conditions followed by a relaxing time in the best hot tubs at the mountain and a tasty meal in the  renovated restaurant and bar made this a great start for the ski season and we look forward to returning..

The pool and hot tub area were fantastic and the highlight of the trip.

I love the the fact that they have an outside and inside pool/hot tubs area.

It was the same at the pool, ( enjoyed the pool and the hot tub) at reception, at the cafe, the concierges and the valets.

The beds are super comfortable, staff are very friendly, food is high quality and location is top notch.

Location is great, at the upper end of the pedestrian village.

This hotel is well located, comfortable and clean, albeit a bit dated in some areas.

but has the advantage of a somewhat better location (the Quintessential being on the lake is probably a wind tunnel in winter and the Fairmont is ski-in/out and right by the village) and being a full-service hotel.

Good location, very convenient for attending a dance competition at the convention center.

Overall it was still a good relaxing holiday for us, hotel staffs were nice, restaurant was great, perfect location too within the village

The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything you'll want to do/see.

The hotel is in a great location, with ski-in/ski-out access.

In terms of location it’s perfect and the amenities for kids such as pools is great.

There’s a lot of renovation underway at the hotel where a new outdoor pool is being built.

This offered a lot more space and light and a nice view of the outdoor pool and terrace (after they finish renovating it

The front desk gave us access cards to the gym, indoor cedar sauna and indoor + outdoor pools so we could access them after checkout, which we really appreciated.

Whilst the outdoor pool was open & hydra pool was open one day closed the next doing maintenance.

The outdoor pool was nice and they had numerous activities for the kids, like movies and a game room.

The outdoor pools are picturesque,  clean and wonderful.

They have a heated indoor and outdoor pool.

The staff were friendly and efficient and the outdoor pools were a benefit.

The outdoor pool was clean and well maintained.

We had a nice experience at the spa and the variety of outdoor pools was impressive.

Absolutely wonderful, staff so friendly and kind, rooms (ours were at the basic level) so comfortable and luxurious, outdoor pool and hot tubs out of this world.

Tremblant is a charming ski village and the hotel has much to make your ski trip wonderful..ski in/out, a very warm yr round outdoor pool and hot tub and great ski locker/rental service on site.

The heated outdoor swimming pool is completely renovated with a view of the slopes.

The gym, the indoor pool, the café were all lovely too.

but decent; the pool was fine although it opens at 9am and there is no spinning machine to dry a bathing suit; the steam room did not work well for my 3 day visit and the jacuzzi was adequate.

The pool had been empty all week, and remained empty that evening (we sat outside the pool area while the kids had a snack).

We also had a chance to try the external pool - which was amazingly warm and tranquil.

Our room had a beautiful view of the village and pool which I really enjoyed.

Swimming pools (in and outdoor) were really handy after the long walks.

I found the pool area very relaxing and enjoyable with the kids.

Wifi should be included in the price though, I was trying to sign up for the All Access membership

Given it was August I feel this was a miss
The village restaurants and activities are also becoming very expensive!

The rooms are nothing like they advertised and it is very expensive for what you get.

Car parking at the hotel costs 45$ plus taxes a day,

As with any luxury offering or price point, be sure to over deliver as that is the luxury along with the product or service.

Dinner at the Quintessential Hotel down the road was expensive

In room dining was costly and not what we asked for .

Breakfast for 2 people added up to $100 incl taxes, which is crazy.

We paid $50 for late checkout at 2pm ($25/hour).

but we would charged the same rate as the king suite.

Honestly the experience was not the best and for me wasn’t worth the cost that we paid for the activity.

Quite expensive, with a bottle of water in the deli/snack bar costing $8.

but this was Four Seasons pricing and a sub-Motel Six experience.

So just be prepared, everything in this hotel has resort pricing.

We had dinner at the main restaurant which is full of creativity and quality.

Large rooms, quality food and decent service.

We had a great experience at the restaurant for the Sunday brunch.

So why wasn’t this posted on the menu outside the restaurant?

It is always comfortable, food is always excellent and service is great.

Choux Gras was also an ideal, casual dinner.

Very clean, Nicely appointed rooms. We liked the restaurants @ the hotel too :)

Excellent restaurant, was able to accommodate gluten-free diet.

I had a delicious meal in one of their restaurant.

The front service personnel are friendly.

Having been looking forward to staying here for many months it came as a shock the superficial manner of the service here.

If you want to use Memories spa services, it is wise to book well in advance.

As with all of our stays at Fairmont properties the customer service is the absolute highlight of the visit.

First, no evening turndown service was offered at all, nor did they mention it was not being provided.

Hotel room and facilities were very nice and great service.

The bar, when I last went 3 years ago had great food and service.

The only observation is related to concierge services in the hotel and the ski activity.

Good services for skiers, offering a comprehensive rental shop, ski lessons, etc.

In terms of service everyone there was pleasant.

Service was excellent, both reception, valet and bell boys.

but the staff and service are great, the food is very good, the rooms are quiet and clean and the beds are very confortable.

The service at the hotel is exceptional, and really enjoyed their ski concierge.

I would urge you to consider matching the 5-star eco rating that the mountain has, and have more eco-friendly packaging at the quick service cafe.

Delicious food, amazing service and the location is 10/10.

Thanks to all the team this ski vacation was amazing.

The service was excellent in a time when most businesses have given up kind service due to COVID.

Front desk gave out home made dog treats.

However, the food was fabulous, with a huge selection and attentive service.

Most of staff is polite, friendly, informative.

We drive and EV and it was plugged in for us without question after the valet took our vehicle to the parking garage.

Concierge sent us out to a few good places.

Literally from the moment you arrive to the time your drive away the staff are there to handle everything you require.

The sunset view from our room was stunning.

The room was clean and the ski hill view fun to watch.

In my view, this was the greatest asset of this hotel.

It was a very pleasant 60 minute hike in the forest to see some water falls on the mountain which I later revisited with my family when they finally arrived later in the day.

- If you've not paid a premium rate for a room, good luck with getting "a view".

We were fortunate to get a room with a view of the pedestrian village and it was lovely.

Spent 2 night in a Fairmont View Room, which provided a beautiful view of Mont Tremblant.

The friendly, warm and kind ski room attendants make the flow of getting on and off the mountain even that much sweeter.

Definitely did not take design inspiration from this stay! Just ignored the fact the rooms were so ugly and focused on the beautiful view and pool:)

The facilities are among the best and having the ski valet at the door of the mountain makes all the difference.

I would have loved a make your own waffles in the breakfast area.

The breakfast is very good, fresh fruit, cereals, yogourt, ham, scrabble eggs, beans, bagel, etc.

Breakfast was not bad at all, and rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast was included and was reasonable.

but the rest is all served buffet style and is ok.

The breakfast is back to its normal pre-Covid variety, which is nice.

The hotel suites are spacious and spotless, complimentary breakfast is varied and tasty, and staff is welcoming and helpful.

The complimentary breakfast is a plus to its location, so you can enjoy an early morning ski then have breakfast break.

However, all hotel facilities, including buffet breakfast are available.

The breakfast buffet was very good - lots of choices and attentive staff.

The bagged breakfast was much better that the buffet breakfast they launched towards the later part of the week.

Full kitchen with everything you need and more.

We were SO happy with our room that included a loft bedroom and another bedroom on the main floor with full kitchen.

Room: We got the Queen Murphy bed suite which included a full kitchen.

The full kitchen allowed us to have a few meals in the room (one takeout dinner and all breakfasts).

Staff were uniformly nice and the suite was well equipped with a full kitchen .

All had full kitchens, fireplaces and looked to be fairly new.

Our spacious and overall very nice loft suite with full kitchen had plenty of room for the advertised queen bed,

There is a full kitchen with fridge and dishwasher.

We were happy to get a room with a full kitchen (all of these suites have this) and it definitely saved us on food costs.

The key to this hotel is the full kitchen, followed closely by the location.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and full size fridge which is great.

Very spacious suite with excellent amenities like a full kitchen, second bath with separate bath tub area which was VERY convenient for kids.

It was nice to have a living room and have a full kitchen,

The room was very good with full kitchen and fireplace.

The room was nice had a full kitchen with a dishwasher and a den with a fireplace and windows that open for the fresh mountain air.

But what really made by stay wonderful was the availability of full kitchenette right from fork-spoon to dishwasher.

I love the full kitchen which includes some utensils ready to use and you could cook your favourites.

Was a wonderful experience, we went there for my daughter's dance competition and it was quiet and comfortable, with full kitchen.

And it’s nice to have a full kitchen available,

Over all it’s great if all you care about is close proximity and a nice hot tub and sauna.

Lovely property in a fantstic location, great staff and the hot tub is amazing!

The hot tub is so beautiful in night time, it helps to relax a body after full day of skiing.

And I was surprised by the great hot tub outside.

It is clean with good sized rooms, decent amenities (pool, hot tub, ski lockers, indoor parking) and a reasonable price.

Super clean, great sized room, friendly staff, clean pool/hot tub facilities, underground parking and everything is walkable.

We had no problems booking times in both the pool and hot tub.

The hot tub and sauna are very nice and large.

Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the complimentary breakfast.
