As with boutique hotels their are some aspects of this hotel that are great and very much a focus for the operators whilst other areas are maybe overlooked.

We stayed for a short stay , excellent location , excellent parking area , great Breakfast , good clean rooms.

Good air condition, nice pool area with sea view.

although this hotel seems popular with families, especially in the summer, meaning the pool is used as a play area for kids.

This hotel is located in a beautiful area with spectacular views of the sea.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area where one can enjoy a nice walk in the country side and witness some fabulous views of Milazzo and their magnificent beaches.

The hotel is perfectly located if you want to walk along the esplanade along the harbour and some of the main shopping areas.

15 min walk to downtown area and shopping and ferry.

The hotel offers different facilities including 2 pools, a tennis court and a small golf area.

We stayed a night on Stromboli and then back to this hotel for our last night in the area.

Other than having a few nice restaurants in the area and the port which is handy to travel to the aeolian islands there isn’t much else to do in Milazzo.

The hotel offers some wonderful views across the bay and to the hills beyond.

Both areas were great, well kept and clean with a poolside bar, saltwater pools and great views over the bay.

The hotel has a beautiful saltwater pool on the deck overlooking the bay.

The way to the beach is down the hill first along and then across the road.

We looked out on the waterfront and the town.

A twin room with spa, Nespresso machine and a magnificent view overlooking the bay, Milazzo and with Mount Aetna in the distance.

It is a little way from the shops restaurant and bay.

Perched slightly above the far side of the harbour, views from the front facing rooms would be stunning.

All rooms seem to offer a view over the city and the bay.

This hotel is situated half way up a hill between the beach at the bottom and the old town at the top.

The location is perfect for exploring Milazzo – just a short walk from old town and close to the harbour.

We were in room 102 which looked more out to sea than towards the harbour.

Nice room that offered an Excellent  view of Milazzo's promenade & the harbour.

Whilst the balcony area could have done with a clean and a bit of care (bird poo and a mouldy lemon tree) it was very spacious and we had a lovely view of the bay.

The views from my balcony are pleasant, overlooking the bay and the port.

Although the hotel staff was very friendly, communication was sometimes difficult since they hardly spoke English.

Stop over for a night on a hot day, interesting hotel a mix of hotel rooms and apartments at the end of Milazzo, bright comfortable room and good bathroom, large balcony, good pool which was welcoming after a drive from Catania, friendly welcome at reception, central service core and atrium spectacular, car park is a bit of a plod in the heat

Reception staff very helpful and friendly , even restaurant staff for both breakfast and dinner very friendly.

but the friendly and helpful woman at the front desk help us order a pizza and even gave us cutlery and plates to enjoy our score.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and formalities were completed quickly.

The room had a gorgeous view on the water (and the industrial harbour, which had it's own charm), the staff was friendly offering welcome drinks and serving us lovely poolside snacks.

The staff are warm and friendly, the rooms are well appointed, with comfortable king size beds, black out curtains and every room has a balcony.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, valet parking is a nice touch.

You can't sleep during the day or evening.

With the outside temperature getting close to 30 it was boiling hot, and at night we found it impossible to sleep.

And so uncomfortable that we just didn't sleep at all.

Every morning we woke up to curdled milk and when we complained, the hotel told us there was too much in the fridge.

Stunning views from our junior suite  I wonder if the designer ever slept in the room!

The hotel is globally clean - large and nice room with view on Milazzo port  - staff at the breakfast particularly available and kind - staff at the reception rather distant - parking inside not very easy

The dining room staff were helpful and the room staff were diligent.

The hotel is very clean, has 2 pools and a helpful front desk who will help you with local tips.

We were very pleased with the Front Desk staff.

I met one kind receptionist during my stay.

The hotel service is excellent, the staff is very responsive.

but do not park in the numbered spaces, great bar staff in the evening keeping you topped up with your Aperol Spritz, good breakfast offering in a bright and spacious environment, a drive to the end of the peninsular is a must at sunset with calm and scenic views 117.40 euros a bargain

Staff was distant and we felt unwelcome especially when cheking in.

When we mentioned this at reception it was quickly replaced.

When we asked price we were greeted with dismay at the question.

On a positive note: the receptionists were extremely helpful and the free valeting service a bonus; the room was large, spotlessly clean and comfortable; the pool and restaurant have wonderful views.

The rooms facing the sea has a wonderful view over the sea and the mountains and the A/C is working really well.

I stayed in a room with sea view & cozy balcony.

Let me start with the positive:
As a solo traveller I really appreciated a decent sized room with a double bed and a big balcony with a limited view

Fantastic views from the balcony on the third floor onto the seaside and Etna volcano.

The only positive for me was it's quiet location and the view from the room.

Our "view" for this over-priced hotel was a stucco wall.

Balcony is also very stupid with view on parking and no chair or table to seat there.

The view from the poolside is fantastic and if the weather is good you can relax on a sun lounger and have a dip in the pool,

There's a nice Bar down stairs along with an great area to chill out in.

Great granitta at the bar accross the street.

The rooms were clean and tidy, well equipped and very individual  They kept the bar open for us and were very attentive.

The bar was comfortable and well stocked, the wi-fi always worked wonderfully and everyone who worked at La Chicca was incredibly helpful.

The hotel is ideally located close to restaurants, bars and shopping area.

The breakfast room is attractive - in fact it is the bar and restaurant -

The Hotel also has a comfortable lobby where wifi is available.The hotel is owned by two sisters, one of which is in the photo at the bar, she was just wonderful.

Staff is very helpful and kind - you can ask advice for restaurants and bars, as well if you need some help you can be sure that guys will tell you or try to make a solution for you, to make your stay more pleasant.

If you want to go to a bar (drinking) you have to walk +- 10 minutes .

There are lovely restaurants and bars near by.

The hotel is very close to the waterfront with lots of good restaurants.

Close proximity to harbour for boats to Eoli Islands  as well as lungomare walkway!

Location was very good, it was right between the harbour area and the beach, so both were within minutes walk.

It's near the piers for cruises to the Eolian islands which is the main reason why you would stay in Milazzo, unless if you are in the refinery business.

We traveled to Cinque Terre, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast,

The hotel is very convenient to boats departing for the Aeolian Islands - a 5 minute walk to the pier.

La Chicca lies 500 meters from the beach.

Good location as it only a few minutes walk from the downtown area and waterfront.

The hotel is located in the center of Milazzo so you can walk to any location the ports, beach, shopping, reastaurants or castle.

La Chicca Palace is a smart, modern hotel close to the centre of town and the ferries, yet in a relatively quiet location.

It is also in a very convenient location close to bus station, ferry terminal and to the town centre.

The hotel is within walking distance of both the port and the town centre.

La Chicca is located conveniently in the center of Milazzo.

Milazzo had a surprisingly pleasant town center - not only ports and refineries as the entry into town might lead you to believe.

It is near by the sea and in the middle off the centre.

But no where else served a cold breakfast of a croissant, banana and a yoghurt in  a paper bag left at the bedroom door.

butter, very limited confiture, no natural yogurt and freezing cold fruit completes the picture.

When I asked the waiter if there were anymore croissants he twisted his hand from side to side and said one momento.

Unless you don't mind taking your laptop into the hallway and surfing the Net from there (like I had to, and I did mind), make sure you are given a different room - or pick a different hotel.

but the room was old and tired and they had some trouble with the power which repeatedly went off in the evening.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, while maintaining strict Covid protocols on distancing.

SUPER friendly and helpful staff who provided useful advice (and discounts) on parking car nearby and booking a meal.

Its right in front of the port (3 min walking distance to get to the ferry boat ) the staff is very friendly and attentive, the rooms are clean and you can enjoy a nice breakfast on the terrace - overlooking the port and bay area.

The area around has lots of restaurants and bars, and there is a lovely walkway along the sea.

Lovely hotel,the receptionists were very welcoming.Very clean rooms and public areas.

The Petit Hotel is in the busy port area and right next to the piers where the ferries and speed boats leave - excellent day trips.

but plenty of pizzerias in the area, and shops that sell fresh bread and arancini (rice balls with meat).

Across the street is the seaport and transportation to the Aoelian Islands, and a short walk to the downtown area where on Sunday nights the street is closed and everyone just strolls along.

The Hotel is located just right in front of the embarkment areas of both of main ferries and hydrofoils lines.

Within 30 minutes our car was safely off the street and we were drinking cocktails on the roof deck overlooking the harbour.

For this purpose, the hotel is perfectly situated at the harbour, and they served coffee and breakfast as early as 6AM, so that we could easily catch the first ferry at 7AM.

This bus will take you to Milazzo harbour.

The Petit Hotel is in an ideal location on Milazzo's harbour.

The harbour and ferries are just a few steps away.

do not forget these cards, as there is a patroll contiunously watching.

The guy that took us to get our car tried to charge us extra, for 2 1/2 days,

Staff was extremely helpful - they allowed us to park our car in their indoor lot for 4 days for 10€/ day while we visited Lipari Island; they directed us to the ferry office which was very nearby and recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner, The Loft.

Breakfast is served up on the terrace with view of the port and starts from 6am which is great for an early departure.

The outdoor patio for breakfast afforded a lovely view of the harbor.

A terrazzo view allows watch over comings and goings of the island ferries.

Would be worth staying 2 night so you can see the area and then head to the islands.

The entrance opens onto the kitchen/dining area which was shielded from the entrance by a book case containing tourist information.

They are also very kind and friendly, every now and then there was this impression that we were long time friends :) As a plus, Stefano is very knowledgeable about the area, and we ended up wishing we stayed for longer in Milazzo, which has more to offer than the port.

You have a common area for brekfast and everything is ready when you wake up.

There was a large beach umbrella in each room which was a welcome addition as there were no umbrellas or sunbeds on the Milazzo shingle beach just 10 minutes away.

Stayed here for 3 days and never used the car, you could walk to the beaches east or west easily.

Most of all, Barbara and Stefano were wonderful hosts.

The host Barbara is very friendly and welcoming and has great tips to get around!

Not to mention the beauty of Milazzo, the beaches, and all of the wonderful history around you.

The owners, Barbara & Stefano were extremely helpful.

Barbara and Stephano were incredibly helpful and friendly and organised a place for a us to park on the street, a tour to the Aeolin Islands, laundry and some great restaurant recommendations.

The Barbara room os the biggest and definitely the most comfortable and quiet.

Barbara and Stefano are very friendly and gave us very good advices for our trip in Sicily.

Although busy at times during the day there was no traffic noise problems.

If you are driving, it is best to try to avoid arriving during rush hour The street number given when booking was wrong so twice we had to run the gauntlet of a very busy one-way system.

I recommend to contact the owner before arriving, finding the correct door for the first time might be challenging.

Although there wasn't a safe the apartments were very secure, guests have keys to the entrance which is always locked and the bedroom doors have good locks.

Its not easy to find as its on the main street and its just a door with the name written above in small writing, Parking is free on the blue lines.
