Its right in front of the port (3 min walking distance to get to the ferry boat ) the staff is very friendly and attentive, the rooms are clean and you can enjoy a nice breakfast on the terrace - overlooking the port and bay area.

The area around has lots of restaurants and bars, and there is a lovely walkway along the sea.

Lovely hotel,the receptionists were very welcoming.Very clean rooms and public areas.

The Petit Hotel is in the busy port area and right next to the piers where the ferries and speed boats leave - excellent day trips.

but plenty of pizzerias in the area, and shops that sell fresh bread and arancini (rice balls with meat).

Across the street is the seaport and transportation to the Aoelian Islands, and a short walk to the downtown area where on Sunday nights the street is closed and everyone just strolls along.

The Hotel is located just right in front of the embarkment areas of both of main ferries and hydrofoils lines.

Within 30 minutes our car was safely off the street and we were drinking cocktails on the roof deck overlooking the harbour.

For this purpose, the hotel is perfectly situated at the harbour, and they served coffee and breakfast as early as 6AM, so that we could easily catch the first ferry at 7AM.

This bus will take you to Milazzo harbour.

The Petit Hotel is in an ideal location on Milazzo's harbour.

The harbour and ferries are just a few steps away.

Nice staff, perfect coffee in the morning (real italian style) and clean rooms.

The wifi was good, the breakfast was sufficient  (6am to 10am), the air conditioning worked well, the beds were comfortable and soft (first soft beds we've encounted in italy) and the room was clean.

Our en suite room was clean if somewhat spartan with no tea or coffee making facilities,

The room was spotless and has everything we needed.

Breakfast is served up on the terrace with view of the port and starts from 6am which is great for an early departure.

The outdoor patio for breakfast afforded a lovely view of the harbor.

A terrazzo view allows watch over comings and goings of the island ferries.

The pool areas were quiet during our stay.

Our suite overlooking the pool had plenty of space as well as a comfortable bed.

We always went to the public pool since that had a bar and was more lively.

The hotel is very clean, has 2 pools and a helpful front desk who will help you with local tips.

Ultimately, the restaurant was persuaded to serve us a salad outside by the pool.

There are two pool areas, one a public area to accommodate the appt/self catering and the other a terraced pool area for the hotel guests only.

They offered a worse hotel and the posibility to come back and use the pool - and no reimbursement.

Nice pool, nice restaurant, breakfast totally acceptable.

There is now also a second pool a few steps away with swim lanes.

Having a pool was an important factor for me when booking the hotel and it was nice and calm with enough chairs.

Stop over for a night on a hot day, interesting hotel a mix of hotel rooms and apartments at the end of Milazzo, bright comfortable room and good bathroom, large balcony, good pool which was welcoming after a drive from Catania, friendly welcome at reception, central service core and atrium spectacular, car park is a bit of a plod in the heat

Pool- great, good size and perfect temperature.

although this hotel seems popular with families, especially in the summer, meaning the pool is used as a play area for kids.

Fantastic views from the room and two swimming pools.

It is spotless and bright and spacious and breakfast and all the things you'd want are there - great pool with views, lovely breakfast etc, yet it is lifeless and without character.

The Wi-Fi, as has been mentioned before, is incredibly poor in this day and age.

However: the hotel is hard to find; our room had an uninspiring view over the back yard and the balcony had no chairs; breakfast was very poor for a 4 star hotel; there was not much character - a case of style over content.

The sanitary facilities proved to be in a poor state.

but works well

Breakfast really very very poor !

Sound insulation in between floors poor, hope that the person above you doesn't walk about much or go for the highest floor rooms.

but very poor reception in the room or in general areas.

Breakfast is definitely not at the level of a 4 stars hotel, I would evaluate it as poor (not good fresh fruits, pastries averages, salty stuffs like cheese, ham, tomatoes. almost non existing, no egg.  )

although these were provided when I requested them.

It was my last morning when a waitor finally came and asked for the first and only time if I wanted coffee or a cappuccino.

but again this was not offered and when i asked they were non committal.

Staff is very unfriendly, we asked the reception three times to speak with the manager

However the staff were quite rude, they did not give us any information about the town and when asked simply gave us one word answers.

Breakfast is disappointing-cold and minimal choice.Coffe  refills only after multiple request.

Cheap toast bread run out and had to be asked ; SME happened with the cheep cheese and ham - incredible incompetent people 

I am usually quite relax about this -

When we asked for help we were told to leave our patio doors open for air.

At this point we requested to speak with the manager who agreed to get some supplies in especially for us the following morning.

Hotel itself is neat and room and bathroom was nicely renovated.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful

I'll give 4+

On plus side:

2)Big and clean rooms.

We stayed for a short stay , excellent location , excellent parking area , great Breakfast , good clean rooms.

The hotel seems new and modern and the rooms were clean and big enough.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and very  comfortable- very good value for money.

The hotel room is very clean, the decor very nice and bed is comfortable.

It's the little things, like noticing a customer when they arrive or helping without asking or just simply ending the conversation with an "is that all, ok have a good day" and a smile.

The hotel is globally clean - large and nice room with view on Milazzo port  - staff at the breakfast particularly available and kind - staff at the reception rather distant - parking inside not very easy

The hotel offers some wonderful views across the bay and to the hills beyond.

The rooms facing the sea has a wonderful view over the sea and the mountains and the A/C is working really well.

As with boutique hotels their are some aspects of this hotel that are great and very much a focus for the operators whilst other areas are maybe overlooked.

I stayed in a room with sea view & cozy balcony.

The hotel has a beautiful saltwater pool on the deck overlooking the bay.

Let me start with the positive:
As a solo traveller I really appreciated a decent sized room with a double bed and a big balcony with a limited view

Fantastic views from the balcony on the third floor onto the seaside and Etna volcano.

The only positive for me was it's quiet location and the view from the room.

Our "view" for this over-priced hotel was a stucco wall.

Balcony is also very stupid with view on parking and no chair or table to seat there.

but do not park in the numbered spaces, great bar staff in the evening keeping you topped up with your Aperol Spritz, good breakfast offering in a bright and spacious environment, a drive to the end of the peninsular is a must at sunset with calm and scenic views 117.40 euros a bargain

A twin room with spa, Nespresso machine and a magnificent view overlooking the bay, Milazzo and with Mount Aetna in the distance.

The view from the poolside is fantastic and if the weather is good you can relax on a sun lounger and have a dip in the pool,

Attached photo was "Chapter 1: Raw of the mountain" the ham was spectacular the almond foam less so! !

This hotel is located in a beautiful area with spectacular views of the sea.

but it never was really clear why the water supply was not stable.

Some problems faced due to lack of a more competent maintenance management: certain difficulty in closing the bedroom door, an inefficient shower partition separating the tub from the bathroom area, allowing water to flood the bathroom floor, after each and every bath.

but i would have expected a 4 star hotel to have black tea and hot water.

The hot water was Luke warm and I had to ask several times for hot water which was never given.

While the quality of the cold dishes was quite good coffee turned out to be coloured water.

With the outside temperature getting close to 30 it was boiling hot, and at night we found it impossible to sleep.

A bottle of milk and a single bottle of water shouldn't cause a fridge to breakdown.

If you are getting up before 7am you need to allow 10-15minutes to let the hot water run through otherwise you get a cold shower.

-The water was hot in the bathroom , and instruction how to work the shower units!

but quickly fixed was the hot water that was at best look warm at 6am.

There's a nice Bar down stairs along with an great area to chill out in.

The rooms were clean and tidy, well equipped and very individual  They kept the bar open for us and were very attentive.

The bar was comfortable and well stocked, the wi-fi always worked wonderfully and everyone who worked at La Chicca was incredibly helpful.

The hotel is ideally located close to restaurants, bars and shopping area.

The breakfast room is attractive - in fact it is the bar and restaurant -

The Hotel also has a comfortable lobby where wifi is available.The hotel is owned by two sisters, one of which is in the photo at the bar, she was just wonderful.

Staff is very helpful and kind - you can ask advice for restaurants and bars, as well if you need some help you can be sure that guys will tell you or try to make a solution for you, to make your stay more pleasant.

If you want to go to a bar (drinking) you have to walk +- 10 minutes .

There are lovely restaurants and bars near by.

Beaches, a castle, a pizza festival, excellent bakeries and more.

The hotel is very close to the waterfront with lots of good restaurants.

Close proximity to harbour for boats to Eoli Islands  as well as lungomare walkway!

Location was very good, it was right between the harbour area and the beach, so both were within minutes walk.

It's near the piers for cruises to the Eolian islands which is the main reason why you would stay in Milazzo, unless if you are in the refinery business.

We traveled to Cinque Terre, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast,

The hotel is very convenient to boats departing for the Aeolian Islands - a 5 minute walk to the pier.

La Chicca lies 500 meters from the beach.

Good location as it only a few minutes walk from the downtown area and waterfront.

The hotel is located in the center of Milazzo so you can walk to any location the ports, beach, shopping, reastaurants or castle.

This hotel is very close to the town centre.

La Chicca Palace is a smart, modern hotel close to the centre of town and the ferries, yet in a relatively quiet location.

It is also in a very convenient location close to bus station, ferry terminal and to the town centre.

The hotel is within walking distance of both the port and the town centre.

La Chicca is located conveniently in the center of Milazzo.

Milazzo had a surprisingly pleasant town center - not only ports and refineries as the entry into town might lead you to believe.

It is near by the sea and in the middle off the centre.

She half apologised and said she did not believe the neighbours who had complained.

Only staying one night, so I cannot say if they would move me to another room if I complained.

I hope that the Management will read this and react more positively than they have to some comments in the past.

The room is clean, the location was great near the port bo foot and the staff were great.

Would be worth staying 2 night so you can see the area and then head to the islands.

The entrance opens onto the kitchen/dining area which was shielded from the entrance by a book case containing tourist information.

They are also very kind and friendly, every now and then there was this impression that we were long time friends :) As a plus, Stefano is very knowledgeable about the area, and we ended up wishing we stayed for longer in Milazzo, which has more to offer than the port.

You have a common area for brekfast and everything is ready when you wake up.

There was a large beach umbrella in each room which was a welcome addition as there were no umbrellas or sunbeds on the Milazzo shingle beach just 10 minutes away.

Stayed here for 3 days and never used the car, you could walk to the beaches east or west easily.

Most of all, Barbara and Stefano were wonderful hosts.

Barbara and Stefano were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating.

The host Barbara is very friendly and welcoming and has great tips to get around!

Not to mention the beauty of Milazzo, the beaches, and all of the wonderful history around you.

The owners, Barbara & Stefano were extremely helpful.

Barbara and Stephano were incredibly helpful and friendly and organised a place for a us to park on the street, a tour to the Aeolin Islands, laundry and some great restaurant recommendations.

The Barbara room os the biggest and definitely the most comfortable and quiet.

Barbara and Stefano are very friendly and gave us very good advices for our trip in Sicily.

Room was clean and comfort, free wifi worked pretty ok. Breakfast was served every morning, thought it was quite small and very Italian style.

The room was spotlessly clean with maid service every day.

The rooms are immaculate, really nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable and lovely en suite.

The room was very clean and the hotel is perfectly located to visit the city and to do day trips to the Lipari Islands.

The B&B is located within a five minute walk from the port where you can take the hydrofoil to the Aeoli Islands, so it is very convenient.

Actually, the location was perfect, in the midle of the litle town, 5 mins walking from the beach and 10 min from the local night life, not forgetting the main port  to viit the islands that is another 10 min walk.

It's central to town and a short walk to the port (5min) for the ferries to the islands.

The B&B, quite close to the harbour, convenient for people coming from the Aeolian Islands, is in an old building, totally refurbished, CLASSY, spotless.

Showers have two heads and for the female guest there is a hair dryier

We arrived somewhat unannounced and he had to leave his family to let us into the B & B.

We immediately got a free update to a family room, as this was available, very kind!

There was one family room we stayed in that was lovely with bright colors in the big bathroom and a separated area for the kids.

but could use the big family room too for the balcony and kitchen.

Rooms are clean, renovated and quiet (even those facing the street as those have balcony doors with double glassing).

B&B Re Umberto was one of the guest houses we chose to stay on our 2 week round trip of Sicily

Overall: Clean rooms with a comfortable bed, a kind and helpfull host and a price you just cant beat for what your getting

The room: earthy colours are used for the bedroom, while the bathroom comes a long in a bright green outfit.

This is a well located hotel in the centre of where you need to be if visiting Milazzo

We were on a tour and ferrying from the nearby port so the location was perfect, the young men on reception were very welcoming and helpful with great restaurant suggestions

Located in center on a promenade with no traffic.

This hotel is in the centre of milazzo, near to the harbour.

The entire center of the city was closed to traffic for big go-kart events.

The hotel is in the centre of Milazzo - close to everything from the port, to the shops, to the restaurant.
