I had to fold my rollator/walker in half to fit it in the elevator.

However, the elevator is small and can only carry 1 person at a time.

There is an elevator to take your suitcase to your room.

Never had to wait for one of the two elevators (2 people max).

Our room was changed without question as the first room we were given was next to the lifts and stairs nothing wrong with the room just my preference not to be close to lifts due to passed experience in other hotels, you tend to get a disturbed sleep.

2 extremely small elevators (1 person and 2 suitcases) took us quickly to our deluxe room.

Our room was a double, on the 4th floor, right next to the elevator shaft which at first, I was very concerned about, however, at the worst I could hear a very slight "hum" possibly the elevator motors, occasionally,

There are 2 lifts either end of the building, can fit 2 people with luggage.

though it was next to the lifts we never heard a thing.

The elevators are relatively small for US standards

although right next to the elevator, we didn’t hear a sound during the night.

Expect smaller rooms, cozy elevators, quaint furnishings.

Like others have said the bathroom and shower are small

but the room and bathroom were tiny and that seems to be a common thread among other reviews.

In that particular room the shower is for me a little small

Only downside for us was the small bathroom.

Upon entry into the room, I realised the luggage rack was too small for my suitcase

but an oddly narrow bathroom with a small shower.

The bathroom was tiny and the shower ridiculously small (only 0.3 m2 in size).

A very small hotel with very small rooms & the most pathetic of all is the service & welcome you get at the reception.

But the room is a small and basic business room.

The superior double rooms are quite small though.

I had the cheaper single room which while small served its purpose.

All the staff except for the younger one was not helpful nor emphatic when we told them our bag got stolen inside the lobby.

Staff were super helpful, and even recommended a lovely restaurant and phoned for a last minute booking to secure us a table.

Train runs on the hour all night long, and one elevator, which both kept us awake all night.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great view and we were next to the stairs and elevator which meant that we did hear noise from other guests.

but a bit noisy when people walk the stairs or use the elevator.

Because there is a front desk in front of the elevator and they are always warmly watching over me.

There is only one elevator in the hotel which only accommodates 3 persons only.

My only suggestion is to ask for a room away from the elevator as noise does travel.

The only ''flaw'' was that the elevator is very small.

The size meant not having to wait for breakfast or the elevator.

If you want a little extra, some luxury, bigger elevator, less hot/cold water fluctuation, then you may want to look elsewhere -

All the staff were firendly and efficient, making one feel welcome at all times.

From the moment we stepped into the property they greeted us with a smile and offered to help with any inquiries.

but the real standout is the people here.

The hotel deserves 5 stars it is in superb location, the staff are great and helpful .. the breakfast is satisfying .. rooms are cozy and you can smell the cleanliness .. the welcome drink is good idea .. even when it has heavy rain, you can sleep in peace ..

In addition, the hotel itself was great --- from the rooms, the staff, the breakfast every morning and especially the late afternoon prosecco in the lobby.

This is the perfect location for anyone focused on seeing the top sights in Milan.

They were all very accommodating and pleasant.

At the time I visited (January 2024) there was a lot of construction around the hotel.

although there was some construction going on right in front of the entrance, we did not hear anything from our room and it was completely fine.

Will be better once the construction in front is completed.

however the construction in front of the hotel a real problem.

My suggestion for future stays is to check on the status of the construction across the street.

It was a bit deceiving at first because of construction

right now there's construction in front of the building- was told another subway line.

The hotel has a good location (though there is a large, loud construction site directly in front of the building.)

We went back downstairs and were sent to a room with an unpleasant odor, probably sewage, maybe related to the construction,

There is currently a large construction opposite the hotel, which i suspect will soon be a source of disturbance to guests.. so be warned.

White noise from the Aircon helps with sleep and choose rooms on the upper floors, the hotel is in a block which is surrounded by major roads and metro construction to the front of the property (although street noise in the bedroom was at a low level).

The current construction site right in front of the hotel was a disappointment,

The construction in the front didn’t bother us at all, since the windows were soundproof.

Due to the construction works right next to, I would suggest to book a room overlooking the inner courtyard.

Construction in front of hotel is obviously not the hotels fault so walk around it, and enjoy.

A lot of construction right infront of it which make it a nightmare to get to it at times by car .

There is major construction going on in front of the hotel (and most the city it seemed),

however the views of downtown were not great from our room because of construction.

(B) Construction right next to the hotel, there's literally a large flat empty site in front of the hotel surrounded by gates.

Every thing was perfact until we did check out and forgot my stritner in the room and they said thet they didnt fund it!

even though we gave them 48 hour notice and they took well over 24 hours to communicate this was not possible and I would be charged.

But then we found a key card placed in the room (most likely from the previous stay), the bathroom's tissue paper box was completely empt, there were no hand towels, and some of the towels had blood stains on them.

To my opinion the big trump card was the breakfast, which was plentiful and extremely tasty.

I then found out at check out that my card would be charged for the city taxes and received a receipt.

it is necessary to transfer to the company that in the XXI century offering a premium internet service charging a fee is a robbery in a hotel of this category.

Although billed as a 5 star hotel, the amenities and high level of customer service are certainly lacking.

One of the lift was faulty and my key card never worked properly.

The issue is with the room logistics - key cards need reprogramming every day, lights in the room are seriously shocking with no marking and the aircon kept turning off and door handle fell off.

Finally, he overcharged me by 10 euros which I only noticed once the card was charged.

Also we were charged for several items from the minibar that we didn’t have, they were taken off e bill

but the parking was at the back of the hotel and they charged us 35€ per night i think it was too much and you dont need a car in milan so its up to your needs.

but then I was charged an additional amount for checking in earlier insisting that on the confirmation it was indicated that the check in was at 14.00.

I asked to have lce cube , they inform me back its charge 20 euro or you can go to the upper floor to get your.

The only downside that I noticed was the room service charge of Euros 8.00 for a glass of milk costing Euros 5 :(
Even the Reception personnel Mr. Matteo & Ms. Anne were exceptionally courteous and helpful.

Two criticisms:
- The key cards we were given to operate the lifts and access to our room was deactivated at least 4 times during our stay.

4- money charged in booking.com not accepted by the hotel.

but it's a separate business - they charge rather steep 35 EUR per night.

The electronic room key card is used to access the lifts too.

Ysabella provided exceptional service and was friendly and helpful.

Very good breakfast  Very friendly staff and also magnificent coworkers on the guest relation services.

Great room, super clean, special little touches, friendly staff.

Mattia the host went beyond in friendliness and professionalism (we saw him many time after and he was just as friendly).

The person outside helping with the taxi stand was very friendly and always helped us.

All staff were friendly especially Gilda who is a server at breakfast She made are breakfast more enjoyable.

Front desk was the sweetest offered us a cocktail experience where Alfonso and Mattia were the best super friendly, nice and brought us a mobile bar experience to our suite room door.

Beautiful hotel.. quite area yet very close to the center and main attractions.. staff very helpful and friendly.. rooms are spacious with very nice and clean furniture.. breakfast buffet has a lot of variety and options.

Every meal was made special with her patient and friendly service.

It is unusual to come across a hotel where every single person you come across is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

My mother and I came here on a mother and daughter week and the staff at the NH Milano president made our stay extraordinary.

You can also order fried eggs and omelettes, you just have to ask the staff.

I could go on and on about how great this hotel, staff, and my stay was.

The specially breakfast team and the top of this team Carmen who is so wonderful and the girls is very nice and pleasant, very beautiful and work very hard to accommodate the customers!
