Had a difficult time finding the hotel within the airport

I’ve been many times to Mexico City and lodged in almost all the airport hotels.

Very good hotel at airport Mexico city, nice restaurant, convenient access to the airport, many different bars & shops.

However, when compared with the offerings from other hotels in the airport or across the street, the difference in rate becomes a bit expensive.

The room was clean, spacious and yet the hotel in the airport area is very quiet.

unfortunately may return as it is handy to stay in a hotel at the airport when you have a 24hrs trip ahead

Because the hotel is right in the airport, expect to pay double what you'd pay for a comparable room downtown.

No need for a taxi and this is a true airport hotel and not the usual "close to" that requires a taxi.Hotel is nice and staff are generally friendly.We paid $99 US dollars for the night which is pretty good

the room was prtty big specially for a hotel in an airport, no noice at all at least in my room and all that i needed was in hand , TV, Caffe, servibar, the wood floor was nice and good for a city that is very cold in this months

You can’t beat a hotel inside airport terminal 2 in Mexico City.

To sum up: Airport hotels are just a convenience, not places where you book your holidays or a romantic getaway.

Great hotel at the airport , very comfortable beds and fantastic breakfast , my server Sergio Gonzalez was supper attentive , I will definitely recommend this place , even if you have to stay only one night it’s perfect .

We overnighted in this large airport hotel as a brief respite between flights.

I guess the fact that this hotel is at the airport makes it very convenient and that's why you will have to pay so much.

THE RESTAURANT
We were surprised to find that they offer the most amazing BREAKFAST BUFFET (truth be told   I would never expect that from an airport hotel) food is fresh, offers so many healthy options and you can't beat the excellent service, thank you EDUARDO TREJO for your kindness and great service, congratulations on your great work and also ALBERTO TAMAYO's the captain who is always so attentive.

Most airport hotels are used up and crusty.

I stayed there because I was arriving to and departing from T2 and it was convenient.

For safety and convenience I decided to use the "Official Taxi" service ( Yellow Cab) at the Mexico City airport.

As both flights arrived at T2, this hotel was very convenient.

but it's conveniently placed for the stop over.

We booked for convenience because it is in the terminal.

This Mexico City Airport Hotel is located right in the middle of Terminal 2 on the 6th floor: a more convenient location impossible!

The Hotel is  located inside the terminal which makes it very convenient.

The only thing it has going for it is that it’s located inside terminal 2, which makes it convenient for airport layovers… that’s it!

This is the only hotel option at T2 so you kind of get what you get and are paying for the convenience.

but for the convenience of the location, we put up with it.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel for convenience if you want a stress free overnight stay at the airport T2.

If you need to stay in T2 this is the only hotel above the terminal and it can be convenient for a stopover or 2-night stay if you have an early morning flight.

Great benefit the following day was closeness to terminal 2.

Not only was it convenient, everyone was professional , friendly and efficient.

All of this was very convenient for my time saving, allowing me to enjoy more my time there.

It will end up being more convenient despite the additional travel.

This hotel continues to deliver excellent service, great rooms and is conveniently located within the terminal.

I stayed 24.Oct and sending every day request mail for invoice (for mexican company) there is no answer, never issued invoice.

I arrived to the hotel at 12:30 p.m. the lady at the front desk told me that she needed to charge me 750 pesos extra for early use of the room.

Personnel not properly trained charged me twice the room.

Upgraded to a junior suite, charged $300 for the night and suite was dated, not terribly clean and the air conditioning didn't work.

They agreed to resolve the matter for me and now they don't want to pay for the suitcase because I don't have the invoice ( who keep tickets anyway), they kept my suitcase, which is proof that it was new.

We went back to the lobby and waited in line again and there was confusion about that being our room, eventually we were given an alternative room card.

This hotel took and extra payment of £600 on my credit card & now will not even respond to me or American Express.

but later found out being charged US 125.

well it wasn't, they processed me as a no-show and tried to charge my credit card, which as a safety measure requires a PIN in foreign countries .

During checking I required a “voucher” be taken from my credit card to enable me to simply sign for extras.

And to make things even WORST, they charged me like 40% more that what I had booked THROUGH their WEBSITE/SYTEM.

I need an invoice of my stay, and I called at least 17 times with not a single answer.

but not overly friendly (when I asked for a second key card the from office clerk made a very unhappy face…).

but not least, I forgot to drop my keys off on my way back to the terminal and already passed through airport security, I called them and they were agin very kind tpo say there was no problem and I wouldn't be charged.

It was weird  because they already had my credit card number.

would you like to pay with the same card”.

I was robbed and after going through everything with cancelling my credit cards American Express wired money to a gas station that I could not find on google maps.

The Hotel charged nothing for the cancelation which is a clear signal that they have done wrong.

Finally I got the card key and for another room.

Double checking my confirm against the bill, I also see that they charged me more at checkin than I was quoted on my reservation.

This hotel is located in Terminal 2 at the Mexico City International Airport, so it is the best place to stay when we have an early morning departure from Terminal 2.

Take the lift from the arrivals or Departures levels, and its on level 3 (i think).

Stayed for 1 night waiting for a flight to NY and I was already impressed with how close it is from terminal 2 (literally next to check in counters on departures).

The location so close to arrivals and departures within the Terminal is quite convenient and the rooms dark and quiet.

The TV lists airline departures and gates in the coming hours, which is helpful.

The nice thing is that after you take the elevator to the departure lounge you are directly across from the AeroMexico check in.

We stayed twice at this hotel over the last month as we arrived late once, and had a very early departure the second time.

We had a good night's sleep and were ready for our morning departure.

I use it because it is convenient, as my arrivals and departures are from the same terminal, and this is the only hotel in Terminal 2.

Super convenient location for arrival or departure day overnight stay.

This hotel is very convenient for early morning departures from T2

Opted to stay here  to rest up and prepare for an early departure to Puebla.

Stayed at this hotel twice during my recent Mexico trip when I had two early morning departures from MEX

Finding the hotel the first time was not at all easy - signage in Terminal 2 was poor and frustrating especially after coming off a 24+hour trip - fortunately a very helpful airline staff member who I randomly asked about the hotel location assisted me and all was good.

The ONLY reason I stay here is the location - with early morning departures from Terminal 2 it is the best and easiest location.

NH Collection Hotel is literally steps away from departures and customs.

I stayed here for two nights as I arrived late to Mexico City and departed really early on my departure day.

It was longer to walk to the departure gate!

Best of all, you check out, take the elevator one floor down and you are at the check in departures area, or a short walk away from it.

Closest hotel near departures was NH, what a pleasant surprise!

For the price you pay to stay at this hotel, you would expect far, far, better service than the 'don't care' attitude they portrayed.

but it's too expensive and hard to reach.

Kicked an elderly woman out onto the streets to fend for herself in the middle of the night AFTER HER ROOM HAD BEEN PAID FOR, alleging that they did not have any rooms available (without even bothering to look).

Mexico City's two terminals are not that close so it pays to choose an overnight in the right terminal - the Hilton in T1 and this hotel in T2.

It is safe and you pay in advance  so no haggling over the fee

but restaurant staff were rude, like actually rude, the food was subpar and very expensive.

I sent them the website so they can see the cost and still they don't answer my emails.

So please do not risk staying at this hotel… I have been charged nearly £800 for one night in a below average airport hotel..

so they cancelled everything - when I showed up they eventually accepted to honour the original rate and made a big show of what a huge favour they were doing since there were only 3 rooms left and told me how I should have called (my mistake, I did EMAIL a couple days before to confirm)

Way overpriced and outdated for U.S. standards,

Yes, we paid for a hotel so we could use the toilets on the lobby.

I did that for dinner and the waiter returned saying my account was “closed “ and I had to pay cash for the expenses.

Issue #2 I explained that I had free lodging and that I preferred to come to NH despite that and asked if they could give me a slightly better rate.

This is an expensive hotel with low value.

This time around though, due to a miscalculation on my end, we weren't going to be able to have the breakfast buffet, even when I had paid for it in advance, because we had to leave very early in the morning.

I was willing to pay a fee to change the room date or something.

Abagail was wonderful at checking us in and provided us with a wonderful updated, clean room.

I got a remodeled room and everything was spotless.

Overall, the room was clean nice and I would stay a their hotel again and make sure to put in the right date!

Had 12 hours between flights and this hotel is the best for those relaxing times to get a shower, some really nice food and rest before and epic flight to the Middle East

For that price, and given my experience with other NH hotels, I expected an impeccable room and experience,

The hotel smelled like sewage, 
When we opened the bathroom faucet, the sink on the floor started to overflow, and we got wet with sewage water, which was unacceptable.

This room did not have a minibar - I only cared about it to drink cold water.

- I had to call 3 times to get more water 
- Room service app they are promoting doesn’t work
- The bathroom amenities are such low quality I didn’t want to use them.

I suggested maybe they could provide an alternative, something easy, like a bottle of water, a tetra pak juice and maybe an apple.

The only real issue we had was that the shower leaked water under the door and we had to wipe it up with towels,

Additionally Joel Montesinos from the front desk came promptly when we requested additional towels & even brought extra bottled water.

So, I took it upon myself to go back down to the airport level and bought my water at the 7/11.

Many people reported bad/rude service, long lines, deteriorated rooms, no hot water, and other horrors.

Much to our regret the new room must have suffered a significant water damage which was still apparent on the hard wood floors and some of the furniture.

Cold water out of shower took mainteinance at night 1 hour to repair it, glad they were available at 2am.

There are some issues such as the shower water temperature and the AC

The water pressure is barely acceptable and if you turn knob to get warm water it stays cold

Morning came and the water was still cold, no hot at all.

Actually any time of day to get some hot water is a challenge as as soon as you turn up the heat the flow reduces.

The cold water was close to zero in the shower, so you either got scalded or managed to bathe under a small dribble.

There was no hot water at the shower, and it was brownish when I wanted to brush my teeth.

I was given a room on the lobby level, and the hallway to my room was crowded with construction workers (looking carefully at you), ladders, dripping water from the ceiling, working tools, stained carpets, etc.

They have a free airport shuttle service with a small office inside the airport.

We got to the hotel earlier than check in time, check in was fast friendly  & efficient, we booked our free shuttle back to the airport at the same time; got a room with 2 double beds, room was very clean & modern, we asked for extra towels & coffee, they were brought to our room within minutes.

They offer a free shuttle to the airport, and the hotel is a short distance to many decent shopping malls.

The hotel has an underground private parking, in  which I felt completely safe.The hotel also provides free shuttle to/from the airport.

We just needed a place for one night to wait for our connecting flight and this hotel has a free shuttle with very helpful drivers.

We had arrived in Mexico City after a long flight.

but since I've been a flight attendant I have my share of knowing well about hotels and customer service around the world.

All of the staff were nice and I really appreciated them printing out my lab results for my flight home.

but keep it mind if you have an early flight.

So it seems like once you go in, be ready to stay there until your flight.

I needed a place to stay overnight between my flights and Krystal Urban was a perfect choice.

Everyone at the hotel was nice and tried their hardest to make the best out of a negative situation:  missing flight and no place to eat on Christmas Eve.

I stayed just one night for a flight delay, the Hotel is located very near to the airport and they have a convenient shuttle that out every hour even over night.

but after a relative short two hour flight into Mexico, we then spent two and a quarter hours in a taxi that took us to the Krystal Grande before returning to where we started then went in the opposite direction to Krystal Urban.

On our way home from Riviera Maya, we missed our flight so the airline put us in this hotel.

I was placed here unexpectedly by Interjet Airlines when my flight from Mexico City to Miami was cancelled.

The hotel is in the vicinity of a mall, which is very practical if you have an afternoon available between flights.

Ours was an unexpected stay after flight cancellations.

For a quick airport-area hotel between flights in Mexico City, forget this hotel.

Stepping into the good looking lobby was refreshing because a smart attendant hands you a warm cookie and proceeds to anticipate your needs; ride to airport in the morning, alarm call with adequate time to catch my flight, welcoming drink (margarita - of course).

My flight arrived at 10pm so I needed a shuttle service to ensure some sort of security, and with a very short layover it seemed senseless for me to acquire Mexican Pesos, so I was looking for a package deal - a room with a shuttle included to get there and back.

Great choice if you need to stay close to the airport and have early morning flights.

Our flight had been canceled heading back home and we were stuck in Mexico City.

The hotel is pretty and the rooms were spotless.

They immediately sent their van to pick me up at the airport (for free) and 15 minutes later I was checking in to a large, modern and clean room with a king sized bed, tons of great pillows and all the amenities you could ask for.

Hotel room is very neat and comfy, with English speaking hotel service.

but the room was clean and from my room I could not hear the traffic on the outside.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, contemporary and quiet.

They helped us get the room situation worked out, helped to store luggage, arrange the morning shuttle and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The room was clean, modern, and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE!

I have use this hotel more than 3 times after bad experiences in other hotels around Airport in Mexico city, Clean, great service, taxi at good price, good meals, shuttle service and reasonable price.

While it is some distance (about 20 minutes) from the airport, the shuttle service is very good and scheduling was no problem.

This hotel is clean, surprising quiet for Mexico City and the hotel offers a free shuttle service from the airport if you let them know what time your flight is getting in and a free return journey approximately hourly.

Shuttle service was prompt, everyone was very nice and spoke English and we were able to check in early and the crib I requested was already set up in the room before we arrived.

We lined up the shuttle service the night before dividing up on 3 different shuttles to get us to the airport.

As others have mentioned it is about a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport, (which is my only reason for giving 4 rather than 5 stars)

We had specified the Krystal Urban when paying at the taxi register at the airport, showing our hotel booking with the address; we also showed the taxi driver the address in writing.

When I told the front desk clerk that I didn't see the shuttle bus at the airport, she said if I had a taxi receipt they would pay me back which they did.

It took more than 30 minutes for a taxi to get from the airport to the hotel, even in 10:30pm light traffic.

I paid my mistake, because took me one hour to arrive in a taxi from the airport, during the afternoon at peak time.

though traffic was not too heavy, it took 25 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi.

Agree on a cab fare before you hop in and in most cases, it is better to insist on using the taxi meter.

From a taxi standpoint, you're in an whole new zone that's more expensive to get to than downtown!

But it is very far from el centro, and taxi drivers are not familiar with the area.

Otherwise, the taxi ride was $169 pesos, plus a $30 peso tip I gave the cabbie, which is about $15 USD total.

And finally, the sink was like 70% clogged, so it would take a while for water to go down the drain whenever I'd brush my teeth so I had to be careful with not overflowing the sink.
